Watch out, Jen! Gerard Butler gets friendly with French beauty on return trip to Paris

Only last week he was snapped cheekily grabbing Jennifer Aniston's bottom as they enjoyed a night out in Paris together.

But it seems that it's not only the romance of the French capital that had Gerard Butler smitten after he was snapped back in the city with another beauty on his arm.

In pictures that are sure to get Miss Aniston's heart sinking, Butler, 40, was seen getting very cosy with TV presenter Laurie Cholewa, 29, as they strolled around Paris together yesterday.

Just days after he was pictured groping his Bounty Hunter co-star Jennifer, 41, he was back in the city to meet up with Laurie, who he is believed to have met while doing publicity for the film.

A source told People magazine that Butler 'completely cracked' for Laurie during their sit-down interview.

Mandy Moore “Grey’s Anatomy” Season Finale Guest Appearance

We haven't heard from Mandy Moore since she agreed to marry Kellan Lutz.

In a move slated for production later this year, that is. They're not dating or anything. In fact, last year, Mandy Moore married Ryan Adams in real life.

Today, it was announced that the actress-singer-songwriter is making a TV splash, slated to guest star on the two-hour Grey's Anatomy finale May 20.

Details surrounding the super-secret gig are being kept under wraps, at least until Shonda Rhimes drops Grey's Anatomy spoilers to spark interest.

It should be fun to see this cutie on the medical drama. But given the amount of people to die on its season finales, we'd better be prepared to cry.

Adobe Flash evangelist: 'Go screw yourself Apple'

A blog post by Adobe Flash platform evangelist Lee Brimelow has brought more fire to what's become a very public fight between Apple and Adobe over the inclusion of Flash and other Adobe technologies in Apple's portable devices.

In it, Brimelow highlights the differences between the two companies, and compares Apple's recent decision to bar third-party APIs from app development to a game of chess, where Apple is using developers as "pawns" in a "crusade against Adobe." He goes on to say that he plans not to purchase another Apple product until someone else is in charge of the company.

Brimelow points out that the two companies have shared a close history with one another, but that the changes to the SDK agreement highlight the main difference in how the two look at the developers who use their tools:

SanDisk: Microsoft Pink's Real, Sneak Pic & More

Good secrets are hard to keep, and it looks like at least one of Microsoft's trusted partners has spilled the beans on the company's big announce for Monday. SanDisk used the occasion -- the unannounced occasion, that is -- to let some members of the press know today that Microsoft's Pink devices will be compatible with its line of microSD cards. That seems like a pretty lame way to ride on the coattails of a big hardware launch, but then again, when your most exciting products are nondescript pieces of plastic half the size of a postage stamp, how else are you going to make the news?

Super Junior members get mobbed!

…by Filipino fans that is. As other artists get busy for their comebacks this month, Super Junior has headed down south to the Philippines for their Super Show 2 tour sponsored by MYX and Pulp Live Productions. The group arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila just today, and the fan response has been overwhelming.

The members ended up taking a different path from the terminal in order to avoid the crowd; however, many still managed to catch a glimpse of the stars as they made their way to the vehicles. Now, the idea of screaming fangirls in an airport is nothing new, but the following clips are pretty incredible:

Will iPhone 4.0 derail Microsoft's phone plans?

Apple's announcements on Thursday don't spell doom for Windows Phone 7, but they sure do highlight the challenges of trying to play catch-up in the fast-moving smartphone market.

When Microsoft first started talking about Windows Phone 7 earlier this year, one of the challenges I highlighted was the fact that it was comparing its phone, which wouldn't be out until the holidays, to where Apple was at as of last year. I was sure that Apple wouldn't be standing still. Indeed, the iPhone is becoming an even fiercer competitor this summer, well before anyone will be able to buy a Windows Phone 7 device.

The biggest new feature that is coming as part of iPhone OS 4.0 is multitasking. Until now, Apple has handled multitasking in much the same way Microsoft proposes to handle it. That is, the phone's built-in applications can multitask while those from outside developers generally can't. That means you can do things like listen to music and surf the Web or check the calendar while on a phone call. But it means that two third-party programs tend not to work simultaneously.

With OS 4.0, Apple is opening this up significantly, allowing a variety of background services that will make for some interesting new combinations. The iPhone will be able to do things like have Skype running in the background, while this seems unlikely to be possible with Windows Phone 7.

Newly Single Jim Carrey Criticizes Elin Woods

How is Jim Carrey getting over the end of his relationship with Jenny McCarthy?

By defending Tiger Woods via Twitter -- and scrutinizing Elin Woods.

"I made a Tiger joke today but ...I think it's time we checked our collective EGO and let the guy play!" Carrey wrote on Thursday, when Woods officially returned to golf, playing his first round at the Masters in Augusta, Ga. "If you really wanna see sexual disfunction get 2 know your favorite basketball star! Curling is the only safe sport 4 a married man," Carrey joked.

On Friday, the comic actor continued: "Tiger Woods owes nothing 2 anyone but himself. 2 please his father he gave up his childhood and his freedom in the world. That's enough!"

“Ugly Betty” Series Finale Sneak Peek

Dramedy Fans are still in an uproar over the cancellation of Ugly Betty. The ABC series that was groundbreaking for the Latino and homosexual communities will take its final bow in a two-hour finale airing next Wednesday night.

The once-popular campy hit has gained new life in its final episodes: Hilda married Bobby, Ignacio is now happily dating Elena, Justin came out to his family — finally, and even Daniel’s beginning to see Betty in a new light: and fans (That includes me!) are eager to see how things wrap up.

Super Junior’s Hankyung speaks up about his wellbeing & SM Entertainment

It was revealed yesterday that Super Junior’s Hankyung would be reemerging into the public sphere by paying the legendary Michael Jackson a tribute through a performance at the Decade Music Ceremony this April. Hankyung has also begun to connect with Chinese media outlets as well.

In an interview with Entertainment Live, Hankyung dished out information about his wellbeing, his history & relationship with SM Entertainment and possible plans for the future.

“Right now, I’m living a more regular life,” Hankyung replied when asked about his current status. “Typically, I always sleep before midnight, then get up around seven or eight in the morning. In the afternoon, when I’m pretty much done with lunch, I rest for half an hour then go work out. After that, I rest for one-two hours, then I learn English.”

The Reason Why Apple Is Not Enabling Multitasking In Old iPhones and iPods

When Jobs announced multitasking for iPhone OS 4, everyone got giddy... until Apple said that this important feature wouldn't work in older iThingies because of "hardware limitations". The hardware, however, fully supports multitasking. Why not enable it, then, Apple?

The fact is that the hardware in the old models of the iPhone and the iPod touch fully supports multitasking. By changing a single text line in a preferences file—the property list N82AP.plits—you can enable the new multitasking abilities in the new iPhone OS 4.

Is Steve Jobs Ignoring History, Or Trying To Rewrite It?

Very few people get the chance to make history. Even fewer get the chance to make it twice. Perhaps that is why it is so fascinating to watch Steve Jobs as he tries to usher in the era of mobile touch computing today, just as he ushered in the era of the personal computer three decades ago. But I wonder whether he is repeating the very same mistakes which relegated Macs to a niche market. Or did he learn from those mistakes so that Apple comes out on top this time?

Jobs is once again pitting Apple’s complete product design mastery against the rest of the industry, except this time he thinks he will prevail. Whether it is his repeated moves to keep Adobe’s Flash off the iPhone or his growing rift with Google over Android, Jobs is making the iPhone and iPad a relatively closed system that Apple can control. All apps need to be approved by Apple, the ads shown on the apps will also start to go through Apple, and no matter how hard Adobe tries to open up the iPhone to its Flash developers Apple will keep blocking all its efforts.

Taylor Momsen Leaving “Gossip Girl” — At Least Temporarily

Absolutely no sign of Taylor Momsen (Jenny) when Gossip Girl returns next season.

A source close to the CW soap confirms that the actress will be absent for an unspecified number of episodes at the beginning of next season for “creative” reasons.

“When you watch the finale,” the insider adds, “you’ll see that we’re doing something very big with her character.”

A Gossip Girl rep declined to comment.

Elizabeth Taylor, 78, to Wed for 9th Time -- to 49-Year-Old!

Dame Elizabeth Taylor may soon be walking down the aisle ... for the ninth time.

A source close to the Oscar-winning actress, 78, tells UsMagazine.com exclusively that Taylor recently got engaged to Jason Winters, 49, of Sterling Winters Management.

Taylor -- who now predominantly uses a wheelchair -- and Winters -- who recently became Janet Jackson's new manager -- have yet to confirm the news.

Says another insider: "It's no secret that they've been together forever and are in love, so it wouldn't be a surprise if they were engaged. Right now they are keeping it between them."

In 2007, British papers reported that Taylor and Winters took a romantic vacation together at a Hawaiian resort. Taylor spent "the evening caressing the face of [Winters]," reported the Evening Standard. At the time, the paper quoted a source as saying: "She didn't think she'd fall in love again, but since Jason came into her life that has all changed."

No Bing Search in iPhone OS 4.0

Rumors that Bing was to be the default search engine in an upcoming iPhone OS update can continue to be filed in the rumor bin, at least based on the developer preview release of OS 4.0.

Bing is still nowhere to be seen in the iPhone's Safari app, or anywhere else in the preview version of the OS. Besides Google, which remains the default search engine, the only other option remains Yahoo.

It's still possible that the Apple/Microsoft deal could be under way though. And if that's the case, it could just as easily make it into a future beta of the OS, or in the version that will be made available to iPhone owners sometime this summer.

One interesting change worth noting is that Web searches are now more ingrained into the system search that was implemented in OS 3.0. Now, when doing a local search on your phone, the iPhone will spit up quick links for Web and Wikipedia searches using Safari. This could place more importance on whatever search engine you're using as the default.

You can Buy Zune HD 64GB Now

If you haven’t already picked up a Zune HD, perhaps now would be a good time. Unless, you’re a fan of a different kind of Personal Media Player. In any event, Microsoft has just pulled the curtain off their granddaddy of the lineup, officially making the 64GB model available for purchase. But, hopefully you’ve been saving your hard-earned pennies, because it’s going to cost you.

Not that it’s not worth it, necessarily. After all, the Zune HD is a great PMP, if not one of the best on the market, and having the extra space to fill up makes it all that much better. Especially if you’re using that Zune Pass like you should be. Plus, there’s also the fact that Microsoft just released that 4.5 update. Which, if you’ll remember, brings more codec support, smarter DJ mix on your device, and the ability to browse the Zune Marketplace right from your TV.

HTC and Palm should get hitched and make beautiful babies

It's no secret that Palm's Hail Mary of 2009 -- webOS and the launch of the Pre -- hasn't been the rousing success that the company so desperately needed. Profitability is a distant dream, Verizon isn't giving the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus the marketing support they need to rise to the top, some analysts suggest that the cash in the bank is only enough to last for another year or so, and the choice of Sprint as a long-term exclusive launch partner continues to be a pesky monkey on the back. All of these realities have led Palm to become a near-constant source of takeover speculation in recent months. Name a company -- any company -- and odds are they've been caught up in a rumor at one point or another: Nokia, Dell, RIM, Microsoft, Google, Nintendo (yes, Nintendo), the list goes on. Of course, not all of these deals would make much strategic sense, and only one -- if any -- will ultimately happen.

For its part, Palm boss Jon Rubinstein is as adamant as ever that the company intends to remain independent and swing to profitability, and as best as we can tell, he's still got financier Elevation Partners' support in that quest. But let's suspend reality for a moment and assume an acquisition does happen; who'd be the best fit? We like HTC -- we like HTC a lot, in fact. Let's take a look at why.

Dashboard iPad app rejected by Apple, made open source instead

So you spend hours and hours toiling away on an app that adds some much-needed Dashboard-like functionality to the iPad (sort of, more on that later) only to have it rejected by Apple -- what do you do? If you're Hongrich, developer of the slightly problematically-named "Dashboard" app, you make it open source. Of course, you'll have to be a developer yourself to actually try out the app, and it's not exactly the full-fledged Dashboard that many have been hoping for, but rather a standalone app that simply lets you run and arrange widgets however you like. Still, it's definitely a start. Head on past the break for a demo video, and hit up the source link to download it yourself.

Twitter Acquires Tweetie

Twitter has just announced that it acquired Tweetie, the very popular and highly polished Twitter application for the iPhone . The application will now be called “Twitter for iPhone” and will drop from $2.99 to free, with developer Loren Brichter (who makes up the one-man startup Atebits) joining the Twitter mobile team. Twitter also plans to launch Twitter for the iPad, which Brichter will be involved with.

It’s a move that manages to be both jarring and unsurprising at the same time. Unsurprising, because Twitter investor Fred Wilson recently wrote that Twitter developers needed to stop “filling holes” in Twitter’s product and instead build entirely separate businesses. And just this morning, Twitter launched an official Twitter for BlackBerry application, so another mobile application shouldn’t come as much of a shock. And yet, the iPhone is a platform where Twitter has a very strong third party presence, and Twitter has no doubt been benefiting from the contributions of these developers. Tweetie is extremely polished and is arguably the best, but there are plenty of other quality applications that are getting hung out to dry. Still, a move like this seemed inevitable.

[Video] Eddie Peng's Must Love MV With Shu Qi (Eng Sub)

Taking a break from acting, the former Golden Bell best actor nominee, Eddie Peng, ventures into singing…and dancing! As previously reported, Eddie specially invited good friend, Shu Qi, to be in his MV. The MV does not disappoint as many netizens praise how the MV showcases Shu Qi’s sexiness. But we really wish that Shu Qi would dance with Eddie like Lin Chi-Ling did with Joe Cheng. Nonetheless, Eddie surprises drama/movie fans with his ability to move.

Eddie’s first plug, “非爱不可” (Must Love), shows heavy influences from K-pop and J-pop. Taking on the current trend of dance music mixed with some techno and auto-tune, Eddie definitely meets our “singing” expectations. The song contains a simple yet catchy chorus as well as a dance solo in the middle. Dressed in a black suit with its right sleeve cut off to show off his arm muscles, Eddie enters the Taiwan pop-music industry in style.

Apple iPad Going Like Hot Cakes Overseas

The iPad numbers are growing, and with the reviews explaining why that’s happening, we completely understand. And if the recent reports of the tablets being sold out at Best Buys are any indication of what’s really happening out there, then this story from CNN about the iPad selling for oodles and oodles of money is no surprise to us. It’s not like it’s the first time, either. When there’s barely any stock, especially of an Apple product, then the demand goes out of this world. And with it, the price people are willing to pay.

This report tells a nice little story, really. It’s about a group of Hong Kong residents who devised a great idea: fly to the United States, find those scarce iPads, buy them all up (which consisted of 200 units), and then return to Hong Kong and sell them for a remarkable amount of price. These WiFi-only models, which sell for $499 here locally, went for a resounding $800 per unit in Hong Kong, which, obviously, makes for a very nice return.

Palm's Jon Rubinstein: 'I think we have a better product than Droid'

It's been a rough month or so for Palm, as the only thing keeping the company's tanking stock price from falling completely into the gutter are buyout rumors -- RIM here, HTC there, even Lenovo, for some crazy reason. But that's apparently not enough to get CEO Jon Rubinstein down: he just sat down with Fortune for a remarkably candid chat, saying that although his company hasn't done so well, he still thinks there's potential -- and that he obviously wishes some things had gone better. The big one? The Verizon launch -- and Jon thinks that if the Droid and Pre had had their launch dates flipped, the Pre would have done better.

One of the analysts on our earnings call asked if we had launched when Droid launched, and Droid launched when [we] launched at Verizon, would the story have been opposite? I said I think we have a better product than Droid, and customers would have been happier with it.

AT&T Plays Around With Logo Design Instead of Improving Network

Don't misunderstand, I don't think there's anything wrong with AT&T's desire to experiment with its logo design, but can we please focus funds on doing something about dropped calls first?

Despite the horrid scribbles and splashes of color we see at the end of the clip, AT&T's not actually dramatically changing its logo. What it is doing is removing the little "at&t" caption which normally sits under the ball o' blue. That logo modification and the clip above are apparently a part of the company's latest ad campaign theme which is dubbed "Rethink Possible."

Samsung Reality becomes real, hits Verizon on April 22nd

One of our trusty Verizon Wireless sources has let us know that Verizon will be launching the Samsung Reality on April 22nd. It’s definitely not a smartphone, but the Reality will pack enough punch to get most people happily through the day with 3″ touchscreen, horizontal QWERTY slider, 3.2 megapixel camera, VZ Navigator, V CAST, visual voicemail, 3.5mm headphone jack and one-touch access to your favorite social networking sites. We’ve yet to establish what the Reality will go for, but we can’t imagine it setting you back more than a Benjamin. Just make sure you budget north of $9.99 per month for a data plan, okay?

Katy Perry and Russell Brand to wed in India later this year, Rihanna reveals

Russell Brand and Katy Perry are to wed in India at the end of this year, their pop star friend Rihanna has let slip.

The couple's nuptials will take place in the same country where Brand, 34, proposed in December last year.

And Rihanna confirmed the pressure is on for her to make Perry's final night of singledom one to remember - because the singer has asked her to plan the hen party.

'She put that on me last week,' she told US radio DJ Ryan Seacrest during an interview on his Kiis FM show.

Robert Pattinson to Play Kurt Cobain in Biopic?

First, he was rumored to play Spider-Man in a rebooted version of the big screen comic book adaption.

Now, Robert Pattinson is reportedly in the running to portray a musical icon: Great Britian's The Sun says Courtney Love wants the Twilight star to take on the role of her late husband, Kurt Cobain.

A biopic about the deceased Nirvana frontman has been considered for years, but producers have had trouble casting the lead. Can you envision Pattinson as Cobain, the singer who shot himself in 1994?

'American Idol' Judge Randy Jackson Explains Michael Lynche Save

'It was the right thing to do,' Jackson says of judges' decision to reverse his elimination.

This week, the "American Idol" judges decided to use their one-time-only save on Michael Lynche, who came close to going home this week. Some "Idol" fans and experts were surprised that they used the save so early in the season, but Randy Jackson says Big Mike earned it.

"It was the right thing to do," Jackson told MTV News at the "America's Best Dance Crew" finale on Thursday night. "He sang his brains out [Wednesday] night. It was the right thing to do. I'm happy we did it."

Jackson knows that the decision had to be taken seriously, since it means they won't be able to reverse America's votes if another judges' favorite gets eliminated. "We get one save in the season. He was so good [Wednesday] night, and this is a singing competition," he explained. "And he was the best singer in the whole show [Wednesday] night.

Adobe: Apple's anti-Flash movement a risk to business

Adobe might continue to crow about Flash and its importance on both the desktop and mobile devices, but there's no lying to investors, and the company is pretty blunt about the threat of the iPhone and iPad in the end-of-quarter Form 10-Q it just filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission: it flatly says that "to the extent new releases of operating systems or other third-party products, platforms or devices, such as the Apple iPhone or iPad, make it more difficult for our products to perform, and our customers are persuaded to use alternative technologies, our business could be harmed."

Now, Adobe has to make doom-and-gloom statements in its SEC filings -- it also says that slowing PC sales or a failure to keep up with desktop OS development could harm its business -- but the timing is crazy here, since just yesterday Apple changed the iPhone OS 4 SDK agreement to block devs from using the upcoming Flash CS5 iPhone cross-compiler to build iPhone apps. What's more, Apple's also using HTML5 for its new iAd platform, which could potentially undo Flash's stranglehold on online advertising as well. Yeah, we'd say all that plus the recent push for HTML5 video across the web -- and from Microsoft -- could harm Adobe's business just a little. Better hope that final version of Flash Player 10.1 is everything we'd hoped and dreamed of, because Adobe's going to have to make a real stand here.

Warner Bros Fear 3 headed for PS3, Xbox 360, PC

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced it will be releasing F.E.A.R. 3 this coming fall. The follow up to F.E.A.R. 2 (launched back in Feb. ‘09), F.E.A.R. 3 will take the F.E.A.R. franchise to the next level, promising “intense combat” and a “compelling narrative” in a co-op environment.

F.E.A.R. 2 developers Monolith Productions have given development of F.E.A.R. 3 to Day 1 Studios who created MechAssault for Microsoft. Consultants John Carpenter (Director: Halloween, Village of the Damned) and Steve Niles (Writer: 30 Days of Night) have brought their expertise to the development of the game

iPhone OS 4.0 gets Jailbreak [Video]

iPhone OS 4.0 has only been available to developers for a matter of hours, but already there’s been a jailbreak. MuscleNerd, of the infamous iPhone Dev Team, has tweeted a video showing Cydia and Veency running on his iPhone.

So far there are no details and no guidelines as to how to do it yourself, but there’s plenty of time for it to be polished before anyone is likely to actually need it. We’re presuming the same system will probably work for the iPad, too, when that gets OS 4.0 this coming fall.

MuscleNerd also has a little advice for anyone considering putting an early developer release of iPhone OS 4.0 on their iPhone: don’t bother. Turns out, it’s still “very” buggy – hence why it’s not set to actually release to general users until Summer 2010.

Lee Hyori ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ MV teaser revealed!

The MV teaser to Lee Hyori’s comeback 4th album ‘H-Logic’ title song ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ has been revealed!

What do you think? Good or not?

Joey Yung wants oxygen tank to preserve her voice

Joey Yung, Raymond Lam, Denise Ho and Kate Tsui attended "IFPI Hong Kong Top Record Sale Awards 2009" last night. Joey won 4 awards making her the big winner of the night, she said with a hoarse voice: "Maybe because the air in Hong Kong isn't good. Before when I was in Australia I was fine, really have to carrry and oxygen tank before I go out!"

Joey reveals that good friend Eason Chan introduced her to "Human-God Technique", but actually Joey already has a good idea, she said: "I went to see my doctor, took steroids and then eat pizza. My current plan is to go back to Mainland for acupuncture at the end of this month, better than human-god technique." Joey expressed that she will introduce the doctor to Eason, asked why she doesn't invite the doctor to Hong Kong? She said: "I tried before, but the doctor is not young, he doesn't want to move around too much. Last time, his daughter accompanied him in coming to HK, but he ate something wrong and had to go to the hospital. I felt pretty sorry."

Avril Lavigne Dating Brody Jenner!

Much like Rihanna dating Matt Kemp, THG could have already told you Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne were dating with a fair amount of certainty.

But like the aforementioned pair, Bravril is now been confirmed as a couple beyond any doubt, having been seen out, about, and kissing this week.

Best of all?

The singer, who announced she was divorcing Deryck Whibley only last fall, is still on good terms with him even while romancing The Hills hunk.

They all hit the town together Thursday night, although Deryck wasn't there when Brody and Avril did this. That would've just been awkward:

Deryck joined Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne at Drai's at the W Hotel in Hollywood, where the unexpected trio shared a VIP table and friendly conversation.

Jesse James' three children hiding out with step-mom Sandra Bullock

All three of Jesse James's children are reportedly staying with step-mom Sandra Bullock, TMZ.com reports.

According to the site's sources, his kids, Sunny, Chandler and Jesse Jr., are with the actress but avoiding the many cameras and reporters that have staked out Bullock’s Hollywood Hills home.

In the past, Bullock, 45, has gone to bat for James to receive custody of Sunny, his daughter from his previous marriage to adult film star Janine Lindemulder.

Lindemulder, who is currently in a halfway house after being released from prison due to tax trouble, has told the media many times that her daughter loves Sandra and hopes she would remain in her daughter’s life.

Chandler and Jesse Jr. are James's children from his marriage to first wife, Karla.

Extended Sex and the City 2 Trailer: Here and Aidan-tastic!

Ladies, we have liftoff. And, more important, a plot.

The second trailer for Sex and the City 2 has finally been loosed upon the Internet—and not only is it chock-full of the fabulous fashion, cheeky sex talk and celebrity cameos (Miley Cyrus, Liza Minelli and Penélope Cruz, we see you) we've come to expect, but it's finally given us our first real taste of what to expect, storywise, when the sequel's released next month.

Google Chrome Run on Nokia N900 With Flash

Web browsing fiends of the world already have enough reason to envy N900 owners on account of the built-in browser's excellence and the availability of an official Firefox release -- both with full Flash support -- but if that's enough, there's now another name-brand option in the works. Well, sort of. You see, Chromium for Maemo isn't an official port -- but the Maemo community is filled with tinkerers, and that has inevitably led to the availability of a hacked version of the Debian release that apparently works quite wonderfully on the N900 (yes, including Flash) with a 100 score on the elusive Acid test. It's said to be a little buggy at the moment, so hopefully that'll improve over time; you've got to download and install the package manually rather than going through a repo, but as an N900 owner, odds are pretty good that you're familiar with the tactic already. Perhaps Google wants to take this little project over?

Korean actress Soo-Ae cast as female lead in "Iris" sequel

Korean actress Soo-ae has joined the cast of upcoming action TV series "Athena," the sequel to last year's hit blockbuster drama "Iris," according to the show's producer Taewon Entertainment on Friday.

"Athena," named after the Greek goddess of war strategy, will be about terrorist acts and threats against the Korean Peninsula and the whole world.

"Soo-ae will be playing Yoon Hae-in, the lead female character who is a double agent working for both the National Intelligence Service and as a spy for a secret organization," a producer from Taewon explained.

They added that Soo-ae was chosen for the role because of her extraordinary acting skills and ability to subtly express many emotions.

The actress will start receiving martial arts training after wrapping up filming of her thriller film tentatively titled "Midnight FM."

Steven Ma and Sonija Kwok filmed ardent kiss scene, steaming with passion and tenderness.

2010 4/8 The day before Steven Ma and Sonija Kwok filmed an ardent kiss scene for their new series 7 Days of Isolation. As it was the duo's boldest intimate scene of passion in all of their collaborations, they began studying the ways of shooting the scene before filming began. As decided, they went all out for it during the shoot. After kissing passionately, they fell onto the bed in intimacy; the atmosphere was very tender.

Steven later revealed that on the day before filming, he and Sonija talked over the phone: “We feel that to achieve the desired effect, we have to go all out and not hold back. Out of consideration for each other’s feelings, we both chewed gum before the shoot. But during the filming, we couldn’t hold back our laughter. After the shoot, the crew ribbed me for being so into it. (yuk gan) And Sonija said my mouth was like a suction, so I countered by saying your mouth is so small, so what to do.”

Microsoft Hasn't Given Up On The Halo Movie

Once upon a time, Microsoft was going to make a big budget Hollywood version of the Halo franchise. Until it spectacularly fell apart. That doesn't mean it won't ever happen, says the company.

Back in 2005, a film version of Halo was first penned by Alex Garland, writer of The Beach novel and 28 Days Later screenplay, and it was slated to be released by 20th Century Fox. Acting as producer Peter Jackson and his WETA studio began making props for the Halo film. And filmmaker Neill Blomkamp began making Halo short films for Microsoft.

But by 2007, it seemed that the project has stalled and wasn't going to happen, and the director said the project was "entirely dead". Bloomkamp and Jackson went on to create sci-fi flick District 9. Blomkamp told MTV in summer 2009 that he "spent five months working on it [the Halo film], like, 24 hours a day" only to have "the rug pulled out from underneath" him. That's one of the reasons it will be "difficult" to revisit that Halo movie, at least in its current incarnation, particularly on top of the "politics" involved.

PS3 owner refunded 20% after Sony v3.21 update

Has Sony’s PS3 update opened an unexpected can of refund worms? According to one member of the NeoGAF forums, Amazon UK paid him £84 after he complained that his original 60GB console – which was well out of both Sony’s warranty and Amazon’s own 30-day guarantee – was, after firmware v3.21 was installed, in contravention of European Directive 1999/44/EC. The law states that goods must be fit for the purpose that a seller advertises them as suitable for, and in removing the “Other OS” functionality Sony have inadvertently broken it.

When faced with the evidence, Amazon refunded 20-percent of the purchase price of the PS3, regardless of whether the “Other OS” feature – which allowed you to install another platform on the console – had actually been used or not. Amazon themselves have foot the bill, but it’s unclear what sort of repercussions this might have on Sony should the entire European PS3 market decide to demand a refund.
