Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are "100 Percent Together," Oprah Insider Reveals

Oh Robsten, don't you know we have eyes everywhere?

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning, and Taylor Lautner all taped an episode for The Oprah Winfrey Show earlier this week, to air May 13.

While some fans were treated to a special screening of Eclipse, the good stuff happened with the cameras weren't rolling.

Like when Rob and Kristen confirmed to Oprah backstage they are in fact dating:

"We were all briefed before the show how to handle the talent," says our source who works for the Big O. "Part of what we were told was that Rob and Kristen are dating."

Lindsay Lohan as she parties until 7am... directly after session at court-ordered alcohol education class

So after finding out about the dangers of drinking, Lohan apparently shrugged off anything she had learned and headed out for an all-night bender.

Celebrating the Mexican holiday Cinco De Mayo, the 23-year-old finally ended her epic night out at 7.15am yesterday morning.

The Mean Girls started her Wednesday night with her mother Dina at the Las Palmas nightclub in Hollywood.

Will the iPad kill netbooks? Not in this lifetime

Reports of the death of netbooks at the hands of the iPad are not merely premature and exaggerated --- they're flat-out wrong. Netbook sales will continue to dwarf those of the iPad, with an estimated 60 million netbooks to be sold annually by 2013.

Wall Street analyst Katy Huberty of Morgan Stanley claims that iPad sales are gobbling up netbook sales. As evidence, she says that the growth of netbook sales slowed after last summer. The Fortune Apple 2.0 blog says this about netbook sales, based on Huberty's information:

Jay Chou As A Vampire, 10 Million MV Breaks Record

New Lindsay Lohan track leaks online

Star stopped working on third album in 2008, but move may indicate return

"Can't Stop, Won't Stop" a new song from Lindsay Lohan, has been leaked to the Internet.

Lohan started working on her third album in 2007 after signing with Universal Motown, but revealed in November 2008 that work on the album had stalled. The leak of "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" (and another song, "Stuck," which was released exclusively to Perez Hilton for airplay earlier in the year) suggests that the actress/singer could be returning her focus to a music career.

Nokia fans want a 4 inch smartphone with multiple OS support

Announced by Nokia almost two months ago, the Design by Community project is almost finished. Nokia fans had to vote for what features and characteristics they’d want in their dream Nokia smartphone. The voting is now closed, and a team of Nokia designers will make some sketches that will be turned into a concept device later this month.

Fans have voted at Nokia Conversations that the final device should be a 10mm thin monoblock made out of aluminum. Its features should include: a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display, open source operating system, unlimited multitasking, Wi-Fi 802.11 n/b/g, USB 3.0, HDMI, Dolby surround sound, and an 8MP camera with 4X optical zoom, dual LED and Xenon flash, and HD video recording.

The handset should also have “DbC OS 1 temperature and location sensors so your device constantly monitors your whereabouts and the local conditions.”

Everything here seems doable, including the multiple OS support – Nokia could easily make a phone to support both Symbian and MeeGo.

Uh-oh! Glee Star Matthew Morrison Hatin' on Bieber...and Spears?!

Reports of Matthew Morrison verbally bashing Britney Spears have apparently been overrated.

Just days after showing no love for Justin Bieber, the Glee star seemed to have dissed the princess of pop, too...

"I don't get this Bieber thing," Morrison told us recently. "I really don't get it…I haven't even heard his music. I couldn't tell you one name of his songs—and I'm not lying about that."

And now?

Matty M. is said to have taken a shot at Britney Spears when he was asked the other day what he tought about Glee doing an all-Britney episode like they did with Madonna. "That's a rumor [Spears'] manager started," Morrison told Us Weekly. "I hope our show doesn't go along that route."

New Mom Sandra Bullock Plans to Make Movies Again

Despite Internet reports that suggest she's considering abandoning show business, Sandra Bullock most definitely plans to return to the cameras, says a source close to the Oscar winner.

The claims, citing reputed friends of Bullock's, say she is so smitten with her infant son, Louis Bardo Bullock, that she "might never make another film again."

The reports also quote friends as saying Bullock intends to leave California for good and divide her time between homes in Louis's birth town of New Orleans and her beloved Austin, Texas.

"In order to maintain Sandra Bullock's privacy, we will not comment on where she plans to live," says the actress's rep, who adds: "Although she has no definite projects set at the moment, she has every intention of returning to work."

Sprint: Samsung Moment and HTC Hero Android 2.1 updates now coming 'in Q2'

Ouch. Just a few days ago, it seems like a certainty that Sprint would be pushing out Android 2.1 updates to the aging Samsung Moment and HTC Hero, but now a company admin has stepped in to assure us that things aren't nearly that close to go. The full text is pasted in after the break, but the long and short of it is this: the long-awaited 2.1 update is now on track "to be available in Q2." The carrier did confess to wanting this out sooner rather than later, but hey, at least your patience is really, really appreciated.

Andy Lau runs into his "illegitimate daughters"

Andy Lau had just earlier confirmed the relationship and status of his wife Carol Chu, but two nights ago, he was accompanied by his twin "girls" to record for TVB's "Jade Solid Gold", so does he want to reveal the other members of his family? Obviously, this is not true, these two "girls" are the new Singaporean group By2, who were once mistakenly rumoured to be Andy's illegitimate daughters. The three individuals ran into each other for the first time in Hong Kong, and Andy generously took photos with them.

By2 praises Andy as being caring

By2 consists of older sister Miko and Yumi, who are both 18 this year. They laughed, "The first time we saw Andy was at the Shanghai Expo function, but this is the first time we've met face to face. He's really caring, and greets everyone he sees, hopefully we'll get an opportunity to act on the same stage." Don't you girls feel awkward running into him? "Yeah, a little bit, he seemed a bit distant from us. The photos that were circulating earlier on the internet were of us when we were 12, and we were a bit scared when netizens said that we were Andy's illegitimate daughters." Would you call him your dad? "That would be really weird, so we probably wouldn't do it, but we HAVE thought of this interesting but strange question."

Jack Bauer Stares Down an Unhappy Ending on "24"

For fans of hit TV show "24," this will come as no great shock: the show's creator on Friday promised that when the action program finishes its run this month, an unhappy ending will greet Jack Bauer.

U.S. government agent Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, has saved the world time-and-again and been thanked for his efforts with any number of personal tragedies, including the death of loved ones. So it seemed natural that in the final seconds of his final show, he should face hardship -- again.

"(It) leaves him in a compromised place morally, ethically and emotionally," said executive producer Howard Gordon. "This show is a tragedy, and to give Jack a happy ending didn't feel authentic."

But Gordon remained mum on the specifics of how Bauer meets his unhappy fate. Still, beyond the end one thing is certain, there will be more of Jack Bauer to come -- in movie theaters.

If Angela Zhang became an ogre, would anyone still love her?

Angela Zhang who is currently putting all her energy into preparation for her concert tour, was determined to fit into her busy schedule dubbing for the final "Shrek" film, "Shrek Forever After". When asked what she could wish for if a dwarf could really grant her one wish, she said she would request to exchange her beauty for a day as an ogre to test what the people around her really think of her, but the condition would be that she could have her beauty back.

Taiwanese Princess Fiona Angela Zhang and Donkey's Taiwanese representative Cong Cong both said they both had deep feelings for this Hollywood animation film that puts a twist on traditional fairy tales and they both really fell in love with Shrek, this kind, cute, green ogre. However, Angela expressed that this time, Princess Fiona becomes a female ogre warrior so the dubbing is a lot different to when she was an ogre wife and the mother of triplets. This time, her tone has to be very mighty, like a commander-in-chief kind of ogre. Also, in this chapter, she doesn't recognise her true love Shrek so her voice will be missing the warmth of love.

“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson Joins “Fast & The Furious 5″

This just in: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will join equally-chiseled star Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in the latest installment of the ever-popular Fast & Furious franchise, a rep for the former pro wrestler confirmed on Friday.

Still no word on what role The Rock will play when Fast Five speeds into theaters next year.

Lady Gaga vs. ‘Idol’: Nobody Wins

This hasn’t been an easy week to be a behemoth of either pop music or television. On the one hand you have the colossally popular Lady Gaga, right, who got the gossip columns buzzing about the amount of time it may or may not have taken her to emerge from her dressing room at the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night. On the other you have the monstrously successful “American Idol,” whose ratings have seen worrisome declines this year amid complaints about a ho-hum lineup of contestants. Put the two phenomena together, as happened on Wednesday night, and you should have a high-wattage hit. But instead, the pairing just made the week worse for both parties. Hours after Lady Gaga appeared on the show to perform her songs “Bad Romance” and “Alejandro,” she was on Twitter complaining about how she was presented on the show. “FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited+cut my performance/musical arrangement on idol,” Lady Gaga wrote. She also provided a link to the Web site PerezHilton.com, where she said the full unedited performance could be found. Even in its shortened form, Lady Gaga’s performance was not much help to “American Idol,” which posted its worst Wednesday-night ratings since 2002. Fox declined to discuss Lady Gaga’s remarks and a representative for Fremantle Media, which produces the show, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“Men In Black III” 3D May 25, 2012

Another big ’90s blockbuster is headed back to the silver screen — Men in Black III will be released in 3D on May 25, 2012. Director Barry Sonnenfeld and Will Smith have both inked deals to return to the franchise, while “advanced negotiations” with Tommy Lee Jones look promising, Entertainment Weekly scooped just moments ago.

“Sony’s summer of 2012 will get off to a red hot start with an incredible new 3D adventure for the Men in Black. We couldn’t be more excited that the original filmmaking team responsible for the first two worldwide hits is reuniting for this third installment. We love where the story is taking Agents Jay and Kay and know this new chapter will deliver a fresh fun twist for fans of the franchise while also introducing the Men in Black to a whole new generation of moviegoers,” Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing and Distribution Chairman Jeff Blake said in a statement.

The first two Men In Black films, released in 1997 and 2002, took in more than $1 billion combined worldwide.

'Iron Man 2' rakes in $7.5 mil on early Friday

"Iron Man 2" rocketed into domestic multiplexes with an estimated $7.5 million from its 12:01 a.m. Friday performances.

More than 2,500 locations programmed the comics-inspired action at the witching hour, as the Marvel Studios-produced sequel launched its opening weekend in the U.S. and Canada and kicked off the industry's all-important summer boxoffice season. For the rest of the weekend, "Iron Man 2" will play in more than 4,000 domestic theaters.

The Paramount-distributed pic -- in which Jon Favreau again directed topliner Robert Downey Jr. and co-star Gwyneth Paltrow -- is widely expected to ring up $140 million or more through Sunday. Warner Bros.' Batman actioner "The Dark Knight" posted the biggest domestic opening with its $158.4 million debut in July 2008.

Par is handling "Iron Man 2" as it also distributed the 2008 franchise starter. But the sequel represents the first Marvel title hitting multiplexes since Disney bought Marvel last year.

Kristen Stewart Goes "On the Road"

Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund are walking the line for Brazilian director Walter Salles' long-anticipated big-screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac's "On The Road."

Shooting is set to begin in August on the $25 million budgeted production, its Brazilian, British and French backers said Thursday.

Salles traveled across the U.S. in Kerouac's footsteps to prepare the adaptation, filming a documentary on the search for "On The Road" as part of his prep. Oscar-nominated scribe Jose Rivera ("The Motorcycle Diaries") has penned the adaptation for Salles.

Stewart will play the role of Dean Moriarty's incandescent on-and-off wife Marylou while Riley will star as author Jack Kerouac's alter ego Sal Paradise. Hedlund has been cast as Dean Moriarty. Kerouac's cult novel of youth and freedom was first published in 1957 and has sold several million copies all over the world.

Nokia says iPad 3G also infringes patents, sues Apple again

All this is getting a bit ridiculous: Nokia has just announced it has filed yet another suit against Apple (the third one until now), claiming that the Cupertino company infringes five of its important patents.

This time, Nokia says that, besides the iPhone, the iPad 3G also infringes patents.

According to the Finnish company, the patents “relate to technologies for enhanced speech and data transmission, using positioning data in applications and innovations in antenna configurations that improve performance and save space, allowing smaller and more compact devices.”

Should your browser address bar show 'http://'?

With a new version of Chrome, Google has taken a second crack at shielding users from a technical detail that browsers traditionally show: the "http://" in the browser's Web address bar.

Did Google just do us a favor and free up a few pixels in the ever-more-crowded area around a browser's viewing area? Or did it hide some genuinely useful information?

I'm inclined to think the former. Many people don't know that HTTP stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol and that there could even be something else there, such as "ftp://" for File Transfer Protocol.

4minute unveils Japanese Muzik MV!

After unveiling their Japanese rendition of hit track Muzik, 4minute has followed up with a brand new music video for your viewing pleasure!

Although the MV was completed with the same concept as the original Muzik, the Japanese version seemed like a revamped version that upgraded the positive aspects of the original. I don’t know about you, but I’d pick HyunA’s platinum blonde wig over the purple one any day.

One of the missing trio who won’t be promoting with Super Junior, Hankyung will however still be singing for fans, but it will be through the theme song, The World Watching China for the World Expo 2010, currently ongoing in Shanghai.

Recently, there were rumors that due to Kenneth being dissatisfied with Nancy’s princess attitude, the pair have split. Allegedly, Kenneth requested breaking-up and chased after Selena Li Sze Wan instead.

Android gets ported to the iPhone 3G

Android fanboys with a fetish for Apple hardware should pay close attention to this one, as Google’s smartphone OS has been successfully ported over to the iPhone 3G. Much like the OpeniBoot Android port for the first-gen iPhone, most of the OS’ features and functions are working properly, although at this time audio has yet to be ported into the Linux kernel. No worries though, as all of this and more, including backlight controls and power management, are nearing completion. Desperate to try it out? Sadly it will take a few days before all of the binaries are posted, however in the meantime we have the video after the jump to help pass the time.

The Force Is with American Idol‘s Aaron Kelly

Sure, Aaron Kelly was the youngest contestant left in American Idol‘s Top 5. But he was also Yoda, according to his friends on the show. Wiser than his years, Kelly, 17, took his departure from the competition in stride. He spoke to PEOPLE about meeting his heroes, being close to his mom and judging the best Yoda imitation of the bunch.

You had a chance to meet your idols, Rascal Flatts. How did you keep from being star struck?
Yes, that was incredible! In the beginning I was star struck by everybody I met. And then you get to where you learn that they are just people and they like to be treated as people more than they like to be treated as stars, and so I felt the more I went through, that’s how it became. When I met Rascal Flatts, I was still pretty excited! But I tried to keep my cool and everything. I got to take a picture with them all and getting to talk to them, they are really nice guys.

Isabella, Jacob are U.S. top baby names

Cullen is the fastest-rising boy’s name; ‘Twilight’ effect?

Call it the “Twilight” effect: Names from Stephanie Meyer’s series of vampire novels and their hit film spin-offs sank their teeth into the list of most popular baby names this year, with Jacob and Isabella (the long form of Bella, Meyer’s heroine) topping the respective lists for boys and girls, and Cullen rising faster than any other boy’s name.

While Jacob held sway for the 11th consecutive year as the most popular baby boy name in the U.S., Isabella edged out last year’s most popular girl name, Emma, in the list compiled annually by the Social Security Administration.

The list, released Friday, showed some movement from the 2008 list: Jayden and Noah climbed into the Top 10 for boy names, while Mia made a bow in the girl Top 10 list.

Iron Man 2: the gadgets (video)

When done right, a science fiction or fantasy film will leave audiences with a prescient glimpse into our actual gadget future. Remember the heady pre-iPhone, pre-Pureness days of 2002 when you first saw Minority Report? Staring silently, mouth agape, jonesing for a chance to partake in a multi-touch, transparent display future using nothing but gestures? Well now that Iron Man 2 has been released, we've got another chance to look into the high-tech crystal ball, this time envisioned by a team of artists at Perception who did the design, animation, and visual effects work that turned Tony Stark's transparent LG smartphone (pictured above), touch-screen coffee table, and holographic lab environment into an on-screen reality. The group was compelled by director Jon Favreau and the team at Marvel Studios to keep the UI elements "legible and logical, while still appearing to be several generations beyond the typical user experience." Perception tells us that some of its inspiration was directly attributed to Engadget as it researched near-term technologies for the film's future reality. No doubt, we do see influence from Emblaze's First Else navigation elements and limited color palette as well as Microsoft's InkSeine research at the heart of the doomed Courier UI. And if we're not mistaken, Stark's big ass computing table is almost certainly inspired by Microsoft Surface. Now get past the break and check out Perception's contribution to Iron Man 2, the future of Google search alone is not to be missed.

Toshiba building world's lightest 13-inch laptop with fast charging SCiB battery?

Toshiba has a long history of making highly desirable ultraportables. Now, if today's rumor pans out, it seem set to bust out another in the form of the world's lightest (less than 1Kg with SSD) 13 incher. Besides sporting a 16:9 aspect ratio, USB 3.0 dock, and standard voltage CPU (a Core i5 is teased), this slim lappie features a 2nd SCiB (Super Charged ion Battery) power source that we've seen charging to 90% in just 10 minutes in prototypes from way back in 2008. No idea what "Blaze Mountain" cooling is... but we want it, assuming this is anything more than a prototype. Ah hell, we want it anyway. Check the illustration after the break.

Update: New details just came in: available in Core i3, i5, or i7-620 configurations with 4GB of memory, 500GB hard disk or optional 512GB SSD. And after talking to vozExpress, we have every reason to believe that Toshiba will be making this official in short order. New pic with Toshiba branding added after the break.

Scarlett Johansson V Magazine Summer 2010

Modern day Monroe Scarlett Johansson covers “The Summer Scorcher Issue” of V Magazine. Scarlet — who stars in Iron Man 2, which opens in theaters today — was snapped for the cover by accomplished snappers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and chatted about the challenges she’s experienced in her transformation from child star to modern-day starlet.

Tom Cruise says Brad Bird is directing. Thoughts?

After much speculation about who would take the helm, now Empire reports that Tom Cruise confirms animation master Brad Bird will direct the fourth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise. It’s certainly an interesting decision, considering Bird’s background with movies like The Incredibles and Ratatouille. And I have to say that as a person who’s not deeply invested in the MI franchise, it feels like an inspired choice. It’s boosted my interest level in another Mission: Impossible movie from about 0.2 on a scale of 10 up to near a 3 or — gasp! — a 4. It makes me think the producers might be trying to really shakes things up with this installment, enlisting someone who can bring neat-o things from their very different genre to this one. Then again, it could also just be a big ol’ flop. What do you think? Inspired idea — or future hot mess?

Nintendo Declares War On Apple

Mozilla, HTML5 editor differ with Microsoft

Microsoft has re-engaged with others in the computing industry in the area of Web standards--but its return is not without friction.

A number of allies--notably Mozilla, Opera, Apple, and Google--have been working for years to refashion Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and a host of associated technologies to make the Web a more powerful foundation for applications and more sophisticated sites. Microsoft now has joined in the effort, but it doesn't always see eye to eye when hashing out details of the upcoming HTML5 with Mozilla and a central individual in the standards process.

One point of debate is the fact that two organizations are involved: the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group. Another is the process by which new Web technologies move from concept to standardization and support in browsers.

Fundamentally, Microsoft prefers a more formal, buttoned-down process that's somewhat at odds with today's free-wheeling Web standards practice. Existing players and Microsoft are still getting used to each other.

Nokia hold top smartphone spot; RIM, Apple, HTC & Moto snap at heels

Having told us all about general phone sales last Friday, market researchers IDC are back with some smartphone facts and figures. As you might expect, the top five line-up is slightly different when you slice out basic handsets and featurephones, with Sony Ericsson, LG and Samsung dropping off the list and being replaced by Apple, HTC and Motorola. Nokia keep their number one spot, with a stable 39.3-percent of the smartphone market share, while third-place Apple look to be nibbling away at second-place RIM’s share.

In fact, RIM’s first quarter 2010 volumes rose but their market share dipped 1.5-percent, while Apple’s volumes shot up from 3.8m to 8.8m and their market share climbed to 16.1-percent. HTC took fourth place while Motorola came in at fifth, with their volumes almost doubling year on year.
