It sounds like the perfect night out. A Broadway show, dinner at a posh restaurant, then a few drinks.


But judging by her thigh-baring outfit Madonna was hoping for an entirely different evening.

The singer dressed in what can only be described as fetish boots, over-the-knee PVC numbers which she teamed with a dangerously short black and red mini dress.

The 51-year-old's boyfriend Jesus Luz was dressed more modestly, in black trousers and a plain black sweater.

LADY Gaga says being gay is not a choice.

The 23-year-old singer — who has previously discussed her own bisexuality at length — believes homosexual men and women are “born” that way.

Gaga — who claims her new video Telephone is “groundbreaking” because she showcases of different types of sexuality in the nine-minute promo — said, “There are transsexual women and transgender women and suddenly it becomes poisonous and something else because there are some people in this world that believe being gay is a choice. It’s not a choice, we’re born this way.

“That’s why for me this video is groundbreaking because it has one foot in the art community and one foot in the commercial world.”

The Paparazzi singer stars in the video with Beyonce Knowles — who also lends her vocals to the track — and prior to recording Gaga promised the Crazy in Love hitmaker it would be a classic.

“I told Beyonce this after it aired, you’ll see this video is not just great now but six months from now what this video will mean,” she said.

Slumdog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto — who reportedly turned down a chance to screen test for the last 007 feature — is being courted by American Beauty director Sam Mendes to follow in the footsteps of stars like Denise Richards and Jane Seymour by appearing as a so-called “Bond Girl” in the next film about the British secret agent.

The 23rd film in the long-running franchise is fast tracked for a 2011 release, and will be in 3D.

Jesse James’ Friends Furious About Affair Claims

JESSE James’ friends are reportedly furious with him for cheating on Sandra Bullock.

The motorcycle enthusiast has begged for forgiveness from his wife of nearly five years for his alleged affair with tattoo model Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee, but those close to him feel deeply let down.

“I’m sure Sandra’s gonna be leaving him after this,” a source said. “I know he’s begging her for forgiveness, and I know he feels awful. He really does love her but he’s just a pig.

“Of course all these biker guys are the same. I been hanging with them for years and they all mess around with dirty chicks — the dirtier the better — so I shouldn’t be surprised. Looks like the end of marriage number three for Jesse, and that’s really sad.”

The friend also launched an attack on heavily tattooed model-and-stripper Michelle — who reportedly received $30,000 for her kiss and tell story of her alleged affair, which she claims lasted 11 months — with Jesse, branding her a “tramp”.

Word, Excel and OneNote for Windows Phone 7 Series revealed

We actually haven't seen any official shots of the Office apps for Windows Phone 7 Series, but now that Microsoft's emulator has been hacked and unlocked, we've got a glimpse of what creating a Word doc in OneNote looks like -- and while there's a high probability that this a super-early version of the app, it's still revealing in how drastically minimal it is. Microsoft says most people just want to make minor edits and leave comments to Office docs while on the go, not make large edits with copy and paste, so we'd expect to see track changes in the final version, but something tells us the main interface isn't going to look tremendously different than this. The iPhone/iPod monster has positioned itself as the preferred mobile gaming platform for developers and is quickly becoming one of the largest game platforms in the planet, with 75 million iPhone OS devices sold in just 2.5 years. The current king of all game platforms sold 125 million units of the much cheaper Nintendo DS in five years and two months.

Google eyes departure from China on April 10, report says

Beijing newspaper says search giant to reveal plans Monday; Google mum

A report today in the Chinese press says Google will announce on Monday that it plans to pull its business out of China on April 10.

The China Business News, a Beijing-based newspaper, is reporting that Google is just days away from putting a specific deadline on its departure from China. "I have received information saying that Google will leave China on April 10, but this information has not at present been confirmed by Google," the newspaper quoted an unidentified sales associate who works with the company as saying.

In an emailed response to Computerworld, a Google spokesman said, "We have repeatedly made clear that we are not going to comment on our discussions with the Chinese government."

Cyndi Wang attended a press conference to announce her contract renewal with Sketchers. The already-slim star was photographed last year by a magazine at height of her weight gain, but she happily revealed at the event that she has lost 2 kg.

Several days ago, Cyndi Wang was asked in an interview if she was worried about becoming a “leftover-girl”. The term refers to women between the ages of 25 to 27 who are not married. She said she is not afraid at all because women are entitled to pursue their personal achievement, and their unwillingness to marry early is a reflection of “equality between men and women”.

Cyndi Wang recently played a couple with Vic Zhou in a mainland green tea commercial. Although they only spent a limited amount of time together, she found out that he is actually pretty funny, so she had a good time working with him. Jesse James Apologizes to Sandra Bullock and His Children

Jesse James has broken his silence.

Facing allegations of infidelity, James issued an apology Thursday to his wife Sandra Bullock and his three children, taking full responsibility for their heartbreak.

In a statement provided to PEOPLE, he says:

"The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment.

"There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.

"This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me."
