Emma Watson: ‘Potter Not Sexy Like Twilight’

EMMA Watson insists the Harry Potter films are nothing like Twilight — because they aren’t “selling sex” like the smash hit vampire franchise.

The actress — who has played Hermione Granger in the wizard film franchise since 2001 — says her kiss between her and Rupert Grint in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is “highly anticipated” because there have been no other sexual scenes in the movie series, unlike Twilight.

“This kiss between Hermione and Ron is highly anticipated, it’s been building up for eight films now,” she said.

“And Harry Potter is not Twilight, you know; we’re not selling sex. So, whenever there is any hint of that, everybody gets terribly excited. In fact, it was horribly awkward; we couldn’t stop laughing.

“The nicest thing about it was, before we did it, we turned to each other and were like, ‘God, this is going to be awful, isn’t it?’ but hopefully it will look good.”

Watson recently admitted that she couldn’t speak for three days after her photographs from the Harry Potter set were destroyed.

“I wandered into a second-hand camera shop, and this very nice gentleman persuaded me I needed an old black-and-white film camera,” she said. “I realized I hadn’t taken any photos of the last 10 years, so this time I’ve been bugging everyone.

“It takes me about 10 minutes to take one because I have to work out the aperture, the shutter speed, the focus and everything. But the girl who was helping me develop the film accidentally turned on the light in the dark room and wiped everything. I couldn’t talk for about three days, I was devastated.”

Speculations rife about Hebe Tien's sexuality

Hebe Tien has gone solo, but media attention is still on her gender preferences.

Present at the press conference of her debut album To Hebe yesterday, the 27-year-old was grilled by reporters about her relationship status.

"I don't have a boyfriend," said Hebe, after much deliberation.

She added, "I've been in a relationship about five to six times."

Rumours had surfaced earlier when the singer was photographed behaving intimately with a female friend, triggering speculations that the starlet could be bisexual.

Reporters continued to probe, asking Hebe if there were males amongst her past relationships.

"Let me think about it for awhile," she said, hinting possibilities of having had a lesbian relationship.

Having only appeared alongside fellow group members Ella Chen and Selina Jen for the past years, Hebe appeared uncomfortable facing the media alone at her debut stage.

The experienced performer even made a blunder by turning her back on the cameras when singing her new song Love!

Perhaps disappointed with her performance at the event, the singer posted a message on her weibo (blog) immediately after the press conference ended.

"Sigh...sometimes the more you speak, the more mistakes you make. But, you still can't help but say it," the singer wrote helplessly.

Randy Jackson Is "Locked In" for the New Season of American Idol

It's more than just aw'ight for Idol's top dawg. Sources confirm to E! News that original American Idol judge Randy Jackson will definitely return for season 10 of the hit reality-talent competition, which is set to premiere in January 2011.

"Randy's locked in and pumped about it," says a source. "They'll officially announce with the other judges."

But who are those other Idol judges going to be? Here's what insiders reveal to us from behind the scenes:

A second source tells us that the rest of the judge's table still remains to be officially filled. In fact, an Idol source says that the large production staff that travels to different regions for tryouts in the fall has not yet received their itineraries. "Normally, they know exactly 'who, what, where and when' about the fall tryout schedule," says the Idol staffer. "It's partly because the judges aren't yet formally finalized."

The source says they've been told they will know their schedules before the end of [September].

Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler is widely rumored to be joining the judges' table this year. Pop star Jennifer Lopez may also be signing on for the show, despite some rather more involved negotiations.

Randy's fellow original judges, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell, left the show after seasons eight and nine, respectively. New judge Kara DioGuardi has reportedly not been asked back to the series. New judge Ellen DeGeneres resigned after just one season with the show. With so much major staff churn over the past few months, this promises to be what sports fans call a "rebuilding year" for American Idol.

Lindsay Lohan Snags Britney Spears' Svengali

Remember when Britney Spears was driving around aimlessly, shaving her head and using an umbrella as a weapon? Remember who was the only one who could talk any sense into her? That's right, Larry Rudolph. Just call him the trainwreck whisperer.

According to the New York Post, Larry's now officially signed on to resuscitate Lindsay Lohan's dead career. Spears' former manager seems to be the last—and perhaps only—hope for the troubled actress to get her stalled career back on track after a stint in jail and rehab and repetitive drug and drinking problems.

Lindsay is eager to get back to work, as she told the latest issue of Vanity Fair, "I want my career back."

"I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, then so be it. It's not fun anyway," she said. "I don't care what anyone says. I know that I'm a damn good actress. And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible, but that's what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes."

Verizon Samsung Fascinate (Galaxy S) gets priced, extended battery, TV ad

Verizon’s Samsung Fascinate is now officially the last to launch of the Galaxy S versions tailor-made for the big four carriers in the US. And while a release date or price still haven’t been discussed by Big Red, there have been countless leaks involving details about this handset.

After these, the date that the Fascinate will be available seems to be September 9th. On the pricing front, little was known prior to today, yet everyone expected it to be $199.99 with a 2-year service agreement, which is the now-standard price for high-end smartphones in the US.

And today’s leak of a Verizon system screen confirms that. But it does add in an intriguing factor: apparently, the Fascinate will be available on a Buy-One-Get-One/Buy-One-Get-All scheme. This essentially should mean that you’d be able to buy one Fascinate and get another (or your choice of other device) for free. Of course, you’d still have to activate two new 2-year contracts. Still, a very good deal especially if it will be available right from the beginning.

Important: Gmail Priority Inbox Should Now Be Available To All

It’s hard to remember a product I’ve become so dependent on quicker than Gmail’s new Priority Inbox. I’m so addicted, that the few times I’ve accidentally clicked on the old “regular” Inbox view in the past week have really annoyed me. So much so that I actually moved that view into my “more” drop down (you can drag any sidebar item in there). And now I have good news: you can all share in this addiction.

While it began rolling out to users on Monday, Google is now saying that Priority Inbox should be available to all users (including Google Apps users) today. Look for the “New! Priority Inbox” message in red in the top right corner of your Gmail account to activate it. There’s a slight learning curve with it, so you’ll still probably want to watch Google’s official video. But once you get started, it’s unlikely that you’ll go back.

Overwhelmingly, the people I’ve talked to since the feature started rolling out on Monday are also now addicted to the feature. But some seem deadest against it, instead preferring to use their own filters to better tailor their mail consumption. I’m a big filter user myself, but I simply could no longer keep up with the amount of message coming into my inbox — I needed someone, or something to sort it for me. This isn’t a longterm solution for the email problem, but it will work for now.

No Wedding Bells for Britney Spears and Jason Trawick – Yet

Does Britney Spears have marriage on her mind?

In addition to soaking up the sun with boyfriend Jason Trawick during their recent Hawaiian getaway, the pop star toured a wedding chapel at Maui's Grand Wailea resort on Thursday and, two days later, teared up while watching a wedding below their hotel room balcony.

While the couple, who've been dating for more than a year, are going strong, they don't have any immediate plans to tie the knot just yet, a source tells PEOPLE.

"They're really taking things day by day and really enjoying their time," says the source, adding that Spears, who turns 29 in December, and Trawick, 38, "of course" talk about the future.

Another source credits the couple's relationship for helping the singer – who was previously married to Kevin Federline – to mature.

Trawick, who was previously Spears's agent, "really cares for her, deeply cares for the kids and loves her," says the second source.

Kat Von D Says She's In Love With Jesse James

'LA Ink' star Kat Von D and Jesse James are dating -- we already know that. What we didn't know until today is that they're in love, according to PEOPLE.

"Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don't hang out with anybody unless I am in love," Von D, 28, tells PEOPLE.

Asked if she feels James, 41, who split from wife Sandra Bullock earlier this year after being caught with a myriad of mistresses, might be "The One," Von D said, "I believe he is, so yeah."

Their relationship blossomed playing Scrabble. "We both realized how nerdy we were," Kat says.

James was softer-spoken with PEOPLE, giving the mag a simple "yes" when asked if he's happy. And his favorite thing about Kat Von D? "Everything."

Von D says James' cheating scandals didn't faze her. "I stayed away from that as much as possible, and when we connected recently, it was such a positive thing. It was just like, 'Wow, I can't believe I haven't spent this much time with you the entire time I've known you.' Now I'm just embracing it and enjoying it."

She told LA's KROQ radio in late August that she's known the West Coast Choppers owner since she was 22. "We've always been friends, you know? And even when all that negative stuff went down and stuff, I stayed out of all that drama. Going out, people were always asking what I thought about this and that. And I think it's none of my business and it's none of anyone's business really. I think we're all human and we're all capable of making mistakes."

The fact that Von D looks a bit like the most famous of James' tattooed mistresses, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, doesn't matter to her, either. "I think that I'm his type on a different level than people would assume. Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean we're the perfect match," she explained in the KROQ interview.
