Working with the one of the world's most beautiful women is clearly having a positive effect on Johnny Depp.


The actor was snapped rehearsing some scenes for his upcoming film The Tourist with sexy co-star Angelina Jolie.

And despite only being just a few years off turning 50, he showed off a youthful and clear complexion that would leave men in their 30s feeling envious.

At first glance, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was almost unrecognisable as he was snapped on board a canal taxi in the Italian city.

And while Depp, 46, has been lucky to hang on to his youthful looks, working with the gorgeous Angelina, 34, must also be an uplifting experience - for any man.

Earlier this week, Steve Jobs kicked the debate about the need for Flash into high gear, especially for Web video. As he explained, Apple products like the iPhone and iPad don’t support Flash because although 75 percent of video on the Web is in Flash ” almost all this video is also available in a more modern format, H.264, and viewable on iPhones, iPods and iPads.” The next day, Microsoft weighed in, saying that Internet Explorer 9 would only support the H.264 codec for HTML video.

Facebook, The App Store, And The Sound Of Inevitability

“That is the sound of inevitability…“

I’m reminded of this quote from The Matrix as I read headline after headline around the blogosphere about how Facebook and Apple and their (at least relatively) closed ecosystems are going to destroy the fabric of the web as we know it. Me? I’m not worried in the slightest bit. Why? Because it occurs to me that what’s going on now is just a part of a cycle. A necessary cycle. Yes, the web (by which I mean the entire Internet), it seems to me, is cyclical.

Just as the United States goes through periods where conservatives being in power gives way to liberals being in power, the web is currently transitioning from open systems dominating to closed systems taking over. Nowhere is this more evident than with Apple’s App Store, and Facebook. The masses, for whatever reason (and there are reasons, more on that later), are embracing these restricted platforms. And obviously, it has some people scared shitless.

And while it’s good for some people to worry in order to keep the soon-to-be ruling powers in check, I’m certain that one day in a few years (or maybe less), we’ll be back to the so-called “open” web again. It has happened before. You don’t even have to go back that far to find it.

Jay Chou not the lead in "Superman Can't Fly" MV, fans online sigh with disappointment

The MV for Jay Chou's new song "Superman Can't Fly" was shown on the 29th, it immediate stirred up discussion, some people online sighed that they were disappointed, because the male lead was not Jay Chou, but instead was a not so handsome and slightly overweight stranger, Jay Chou's JVR said, he is not an artist, he is Jay Chou's friend Jeff, he was just guest starring!

The lyrics to "Superman Can't Fly" describe Jay Chou's feelings since he had been out, this is the first MV, but there was no Superman Chou, no J Girl, just a plain man playing the role of Superman, it's makes you scratch your head. It turns out that while Jay Chou was filming "The Green Hornet" in America, because he was English was not good, he had to rely on the translator everyday for food and clothes, so he became good friends with the translator for the movie Jeff. During New Year this year, Jeff came to Taiwan and had lunch with him, as it so happens he wore a t-shirt with Superman on it, Jay said on the spot: "Aiyo! What a coincidence! Come film my MV!"

JVR said, this song started off with lyrics before the melody, in order to show plain people can be heroes, they got a plain person to play the role, he never planned to get a model or artist.

Pop star Mariah Carey has famously pledged to renew her wedding vows to husband Nick Cannon every year – but next time she may want to consider wearing a slightly larger dress.


The singer appeared in danger of falling out of her skin-tight gown at the ceremony, held at the couple’s Beverly Hills mansion on Friday.

The celebration took place exactly two years after their wedding on Ms Carey’s estate in the Bahamas. The couple first met on the Caribbean island of Antigua when Mr Cannon took part in the filming of the music video for her song Bye Bye.

SCORNED Jennifer Aniston was left in “shock” when she found out ex Brad Pitt plans to marry partner Angelina Jolie.

The actress — who wed Pitt in 2000 and divorced him in 2005 as he embarked on a relationship with the Tomb Raider star — is apparently devastated that Brad and Angelina are making their relationship official.

“When Jen was tipped to Brad and Angie’s wedding plans she was in shock,” blabbed one loose-lipped insider.

iFixit gets iPad 3G on day one, immediately destroys it

Unsurprisingly, the chaps over at iFixit have already torn their brand new 3G iPad to shreds. There isn't anything insanely shocking in there (no visible "magic," though there is some fragmentary evidence of a "revolution"), but it's still a pretty interesting sight to behold. So, what's going on in there? Well, for starters, the 3G iPad has five antennas, including one that appears to take up the whole of the LCD frame, and one inside the Apple logo; it's also got the same baseband processor as both the WiFi iPad and the iPhone 3GS. Cecilia Cheung Picks Mother's Day To Deliver Her Second Child

Cecilia Cheung's day of delivery has been the focus lately. Recently Niclose Tse returned home from Shanghai and the Tse family is prepared for the arrival of new family member. It's known Cecilia has decided to give birth on Mother's day (May 9).

Nicholas disclosed lately that Cecilia isn't ready to give birth yet and told reporters don't be worry. But in fact he and Cecilia picked to deliver through c-section on the 9th in Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital. Once said will give birth to 5 kids, Cecilia hopes her beloved child will remember his parents by being born on this holiday.

Nicolas will accompany with wife for 2 weeks after the delivery. During this period he will shoot two Mainland commercials. The advertising companies showed their understanding by changing the shooting location to HK, so Nicholas can go home quickly after work. He will resume working on the 26th.
