Lady Gaga strips back down to her underwear after dressing conservatively for a night

Just as we thought Lady Gaga had decided to dress conservatively for a night after covering up on-stage with Sting for a benefit concert, she went back to her old ways straight afterwards by stripping down to her underwear.

After performing Stand By Me with the rock legend, Gaga stepped out in fishnet stockings, black bondage knickers, an outrageous mask and PVC shoes that were missing their heels.

Luckily she wore a leather jacket to preserve some modesty but there was still little left to the imagination as the half naked singer headed to Mr. Chow’s in New York City for dinner.

Let’s hope the restaurant didn’t have a dress code, because we’re not sure the Paparazzi singer’s attire would be deemed appropriate.

The National Love-Hate Relationship with Tom Cruise

The American public has such a conflicted relationship with Tom Cruise that sometimes it feels like we're all in marriage counseling together: Tom sitting on one side of the sofa and 307,006,550 of us on the other, trying to explain why we love him so much when sometimes we're not sure if we even like him.

All these colliding emotions about Tom came out last week when a video of him and his wife, Katie Holmes, mugging their way through a charity benefit performance of 'Whatever Lola Wants' went viral online. (Following copyright complaints, the clip has since mostly disappeared from the Internet.) People couldn't get enough of the couple, even though many still can't shake the feeling that something is not quite right about their relationship.

As we prepare for the marketing blitz around the June 25 release of his action-comedy 'Knight and Day' with Cameron Diaz, We thought it was time to take stock of our relationship with America's greatest movie star. He does seem a bit more subdued, as his appearance on The Oprah Winfrey show this week, minus the couch jumping, showed

Will Facebook Be Tomorrow’s Google, and Google Tomorrow’s Microsoft?

Today, Google is the place to go to if you are looking for information about pretty much anything. By displaying sponsored links that are relevant to what you are looking for, Google showed us that ads are most effective when they are useful. So effective, that Google built a $25 billion search advertising business over the last decade.

However, Google’s search advertising business is inherently constrained by the fact that it works only when users are already looking for something. You have to search for makeup before Google can serve an ad for the latest Dior mascara product.

Facebook on the other hand has become the world’s identity gatekeeper—your age, sex, location, where you went to school, where you work, who your friends are—all of this personal data is used to serve you tidbits of information that you are likely to be interested in. Want to see pics of your cousin’s wedding? Want to know what movies your co-workers are watching this weekend? What music your friends “like”? You need to go to Facebook. The bottom line is that you are now trained to go to Facebook to discover things. With the growth of the Facebook app platform and support (so far) from apps like Farmville and Mafia Wars, Facebook has also grown into the number one destination on the web for entertainment and spending time.

Just like Google introduced sponsored search as an advertising model which fits in seamlessly with search results, it doesn’t take a whole lot of imagination to see how Facebook could build brand and discovery-based advertising into its product which will be useful to members. Like Google’s AdWords, Facebook ads will be most effective when they are integrated into the core product and are very relevant to the user.

Steve Jobs Spars With Gawker Blogger Over Revolutions, Freedom, and Porn

For many years, tech fans have known that Steve Jobs will occasionally respond to messages directed to his well-publicized email address. Most of the time his responses consist of snappy one-liners, often containing a nugget of new information. But it’s rare to hear about a full-on debate, with Jobs offering some rationale behind Apple’s highly controversial decisions.

That’s exactly what happened last night, when Gawker writer Ryan Tate got irritated by an Apple ad describing the iPad as “a revolution” and shot off an email to Steve Jobs. Three hours later, at nearly 1AM, Jobs replied, and a passionate email debate ensued. The email exchange is mainly focused on Apple’s stranglehold on the iPhone OS platform, and its decision to force developers to build applications using Apple’s tools.

Tate is clearly agitated throughout the exchange (in his blog post he notes a few things he regrets writing in his email responses). For the most part Jobs seems to be level-headed, though he does take a jab at Tate at the end. Through it all, though, one thing is clear: Jobs is on a mission to reinvent computing. He’s well aware of the controversies, and for better or for worse, it sounds like he genuinely believes that what Apple is doing will lead to a better future.

Wonder Girls releases 2 Different Tears MV & more

It’s been a while since the Wonder Girls released a new song after Nobody in 2008, so of course when they finally announced their new song 2 Different Tears, all Wonderfuls and neutrals were hyped to see what the hit-making Wonder Girls would put out this time.

A lot has happened since they made America as their headquarters and so on. But the biggest change was Sunmi leaving and Hye Lim coming in as a replacement earlier this year. It was a shock but life has to go on.

Having heard the teaser and seen the pictures, it was great to see the MV as they really rock it with their retro funky concept and you have to say no one does retro like them. The funny cameos by Bobby Lee and JYP further increases the replayability. I was worried that they would fall short of expectations because of the long gap, but the Wonder Girls and JYP really released a gem of a song again!

Vic Zhou decadent looks in new film; transforming into Tony Leung's successor

A deep emotional prince in front of the camera, Zai Zai Vic Zhou becomes an otaku when he reaches home. Fans rarely see this side of him but the film "Love You Ten Thousand Years" will scoop out Zai Zai's decadent and sloppy appearance, to give a surprise to fans.

Due to scheduling issues this year, Zai Zai narrowly missed being in the movies "Black & White" and "Killer Ouyang Penzai." This makes the soon-to-be released August movie "Love You Ten Thousand Years" being paid particular attention. This local Taiwan romance comedy film directed by Japanese director Toyo Kitamura, will let Zaizai do a turnaround, challenging the role of a decadent rock band lead singer, and he even has to use his own unique singing style to belt out the song "Love You Ten Thousand Years" which has previously been sung by Wynners, Five Tigers, Wu Bai and Li Yi Chun!

Prior to shooting the movie, director Toyo Kitamura had a headache thinking of how to change Zai Zai from his handsome appearance to a decadent band member. Then unexpectedly, he saw Zai Zai with disheveled hair and unshaven face walking towards him, and Toyo Kitumura happily shouted out "That's the look!" Manager Zhi Xiang Li was alarmed and worried that fans cannot accept this Zaizai who do not care about his appearance. But Zaizai just said, be calm,"They are only seeing my original (real-life) self."

Casey James’s Sleepless (and Emotional) Texas-Sized Homecoming

American Idol finalist and Texas native Casey James, 27, had time in everything in his schedule but sleep.

At 6:40 a.m. Friday, James hopped into his stretch SUV limo and waved at the gathering crowd before heading off to the first of 10 scheduled appearances.

“I love everything about Texas,” he said, as he waved at fans in cars with cameras chasing his limo despite a massive police escort. “It is good to be home.”

Starting out at a local television station, the Idol finalist was met with a red carpet of screaming students from his alma mater, Millsap High School, and fans of all ages holding signs and screaming at his arrival.

“I’ve gotten several marriage proposals today,” he said, laughing.

But the singer was thrilled to reunite with his mother, Debra, brother Billy and his dogs, Daisy and Buster. “He started humming in perfect key at the age of one,” his mother said. “It’s obvious that playing music is what Casey is meant to do.”

Crystal Bowersox Touches a Chord in Toledo Homecoming

Crystal Bowersox had a few things she really wanted to do in Toledo, Ohio.

She wanted to reunite with bass player Frankie May at her old haunt, Papa’s Tavern. She wanted to see her family in Elliston, Ohio, and thank her fans by singing her original songs. She wanted to raise awareness about juvenile diabetes. But mostly, Bowersox wanted to move people and lift the spirits of her hometown.

On a car ride back to her hotel after a long Friday, Idol top 3 finalist Bowersox, 24, smiles a weary smile but tells PEOPLE contently, “That was my goal, and hopefully, mission accomplished.”

The American Idol contestant arrived at a private airstrip Thursday night -– then it was right down to business. She visited a local FOX station and, on Friday morning, dropped into three local radio stations.
