Justin Bieber, Drake, Adam Lambert, Katy Perry Attend 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards

The MuchMusic Video Awards are all about music and visuals and fashion.

And hair….

Justin Bieber and Adam Lambert clearly had their manes in mind as they appeared on the red carpet for the Canadian trophyfest.

While the teen went with his time-honored look, Lambert went a little over the top—literally—by swooping his hair right over his noggin.

Toy Story Glory; Megan Fox Hexed

The summer's back. (Mostly.)

Toy Story 3 grossed a blockbuster $109 million at the weekend box office, estimates showed.

Then there was Josh Brolin's and Megan Fox's Jonah Hex, which proved a throwback to the season's lesser days of Macgruber.

The $40 million comic-book Western debuted with a barely there $5.09 million on nearly 3,000 screens. Among comic-spawned flicks, Jonah Hex ranks down there with The Phantom and The Spirit for ineptitude, per Box Office Mojo stats.

The bomb comes at a bad time, career-wise, for Fox, who either jumped or was pushed from the Transformers franchise.

Why Mobile Innovation Is Blowing Away PCs

On the heels of the latest Android phone, the Sprint HTC EVO, and as we approach iPhone 4, it seems like mobile devices and platforms are innovating at about five times the pace of personal computers.

Rapid advancement in mobile is often attributed to the natural disruption by which emerging industries innovate quickly, while established markets like PCs follow a slower, more sustained trajectory.

But there are deeper fundamentals driving the breathtaking pace of smartphone advancement. Component vendors supplying to smartphone OEMs have evolved a much different DNA than those supplying to PC makers. Smartphones are an evolution of embedded systems, not PCs, and embedded markets have long favored vendors who don’t simply provide the most highly integrated chipsets, but who can also partner with OEMs to drive system-level integration and software at a rapid pace.

Will fans go gaga for a sexier Miley Cyrus?

Hats off to you, hard-working pop tart handlers.

First, you have to find your own little JonBenet to pimp out to Disney or Nickelodeon. Then, when puberty crashes the party, you have to push your budding stars’ inappropriate-but-oh-so-lucrative sex appeal without having the exposure destroy her (see Britney Spears, Jamie Lynne Spears, Lindsay Lohan).

This month, the hardest-working handlers belong to Miley Cyrus. When it comes to burying the Hannah Montana brand and hyping Miley’s new album - Cyrus’ modestly-edgy new “Can’t Be Tamed” is out today - the 17-year-old’s people are putting on a clinic.

Her album-release show at the Sunset Strip branch of the House of Blues will be streamed live around the world; catch it at 10:30 tonight on MTV, VH1 and CMT. Friday, she performed “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” on “Good Morning America” with the ubiquitous Bret Michaels.

And there was one more creepy/unsavory/titillating thing fueling the buzz: last week, Perez Hilton tweeted an upskirt photo allegedly showing off the minor’s junk to his two million followers. Whether or not Cyrus’ handlers are deciding when she will and won’t wear underwear, they know how to balance the carnal and the cute.

Shockingly, her brain trust nailed one thing that is often an afterthought in a teen titan’s career: the music.

T.O.P cranks up the heat with Turn It Up MV! & more

T.O.P’s Turn It Up was sizzling when Big Bang screened the music video at the Big Show back in January, and it’s still blazing hot now – half a year after fans got the first whiff of T.O.P’s latest solo single, the music video has been officially released!

With the music video’s monochrome concept and T.O.P’s laidback personality, this entire production is practically oozing sex appeal. While other idols flash their abs or sing ballad tracks to capture fans’ interest, this rapper proves that he can drive any girl crazy just by gazing at a camera while sitting in a chair… fully clothed.

Without further ado, check out the MV below!

Russell Brand has his hands full as he joins gaggle of bikini-clad models by the Thames

Something was putting a smile on Russell Brand's face today and, for once, it wasn't his fiancée Katy Perry.

The British star took to the banks of the Thames in London today for a photocall to promote his new movie, Get Him To The Greek, with an army of stunning models in tow.

Russell, once renowned for his womanising ways, didn't waste any time getting acquainted with his lady friends, who were all squeezed into Union Jack bikinis.

At one point he was even seen wagging a cheeky finger at two of the models.

However, his mother Barbara was also there, perhaps to ensure her wayward son didn't get up to any mischief.

She also posed for pictures with Russell, along with her cute pet dog, at the event held at Potters Field Park, in the shadows of Tower Bridge.

What happened to Britney Spears' hair? Scruffy star in desperate need of salon trip

It looks like Britney Spears is long overdue a visit to the salon.

The pop star stepped out in Los Angeles today with a ratty head of messed up hair, clearly showing her extensions.

She seemed unconcerned about being photographed in such a state, as she dropped into the Williams-Sonoma store in the Calabasas area of Los Angeles to buy kitchen supplies and utensils.

The scruffy blonde wore a pair of her favourite slashed denim hotpants and a white vest, along with a pair of flip flops.

It's not an unusual look for Britney, who despite her fortune favours casual beach wear for nearly every off-duty occasion.

The 28-year-old has rarely been pictured without a scowl on her face in recent weeks, leading to rumours that all is not well for the singer.

Best Buy's iPhone 4 launch manual leaked?

Like the iPad launch guide before it, Best Buy's iPhone 4 launch plan has just made its wily way into our collective lap, replete with loads of details on how your favorite blue-shirted electronics salespersons are going to be spending their Thursday morning. While we've yet to see any hot scoops inside its two dozen pages (aside from some confusing, contradictory gibberish about whether Best Buy will have iPhones at launch at all) we have learned that stores will open up previously suspended preorders on launch day, accepting reservation fees for devices that customers can pick up at a later date. What we're not seeing here is anything about specific number of units, but there are various lines that caution against expecting much in the way of non-reserved phones -- should there be any, the guide advises first come first serve once the store opens. In other words, it's business as usual: call ahead and show up early. See some choice quotes from the playbook after the break.

Jackson Kids Will Go To School For First Time This Fall

After living most of their lives behind closed doors, being schooled by tutors and wearing veils in public, Michael Jackson’s three children will go to school for the first time this fall.

Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8 have been enrolled in a private school near their home in Encino nearly one year after the death of their father last June 25, the children’s grandmother and legal guardian Katherine Jackson told England’s The Mail on Sunday this week.

“I’d say I’m a little less strict but I’ve tried to follow the way Michael was raising them,” the 80-year-old says in her first interview since Michael’s death. “But they don’t have friends. They don’t go to school. They have private lessons at home. They’ll be going to a private school in September for the first time.”
