Now that the Droid 2 has officially reached "leaking like a sieve" status, we thought we'd toss you another couple shots of the Droid X's QWERTY-equipped cousin, which we're being told is locked for an August release on Verizon. If you're more of the BlackBerry type, though, we've got some news for you, too: our source is telling us that both a Curve 3 and Storm 3 are "possible" for the holidays this year. If we had to guess, the Curve 3 is likely a variant of this 9300 we've been seeing lately, whereas the Storm 3 could be a version of the 9800 slider or an entirely new keyboardless slate. There's also a 10.1-inch tablet on the docket; the carrier has already confirmed that Android tablets are in the pipeline, but this could also be a version of the rumored BlackBerry beast. More on this noise as soon as we get it; in the meantime, follow the break for another shot of that Droid 2, won't you?

Apple has just let word out that it'll be bringing its super-selling slate to nine new markets. The Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, New Zealand and Singapore are all getting their hands on the device this Friday, July 23. We were just remarking on how the iPad's sales pace had slowed down recently, but this expansion in markets should move things along toward rounding the next milestone. Local pricing hasn't yet been revealed, but it's not like there's long to wait now. "Many" more countries are promised before the end of the year, so don't despair if your local Apple Store isn't stocking the iPad just yet.

Mainland Chinese solo artist Han Geng was in Beijing this past weekend holding his "Geng's Heart" concert for two days, and will next head to Taiwan on August 15th to hold his first event there at National Taipei University's Recreation Center. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow on July 20th starting at 2:09 PM, because Han Geng's birthday is on February 9th (2/9).
Besides singing his new songs, he also sang Taiwanese singer Jay Chou's "Starry Mood". Jay himself personally appeared in a video message sent to Han Geng in order to wish him luck and encouragement, saying: "Han Geng is a very warm person. I hope his new album is a hit." As it turned out, when Jay Chou was in South Korea several years earlier to promote his film "Secret", that was when he first met Han Geng. This time, Han Geng will be in Taiwan to hold an event, and in addition to singing, he will also have an opportunity to closely interact with his loyal fans by holding a meet-and-greet with them.

Things are looking rosey for soon-to-be jailbird Lindsay Lohan. Word on The Curb has it that the child star-turned-trainwreck has been offered lucrative deals to front her own docu-soap by at least three US cable networks.
First up there’s Entertainment Television — perhaps best known simply as E!. Apparently, they want to revive there 2008 Living Lohan series, which co-starred Lindsay’s mother Dina and sister Ali, now 16.
Then there are basic cable rivals Bravo and Spike. They’re also looking to seal a deal with the 24-year-old actress before she begins her 90-day sentence in a Los Angeles jail for probation violations on Tuesday.

This almost goes without saying, but it's truly been a wild ride for the iPhone 4 over the last three weeks. While most of us will just happily open our hands to Stevie J's freebies, there's one question that's still bugging us: what's actually holding back the white iPhone 4? Sure, Apple's now promised us an "end of July" delivery for its latest iTemptation, but it has yet to specify what the manufacturing difficulty is. According to Chinese newspaper 21st Century Business Herald, the problem stems from a little-known Chinese factory by the name of Lens Technology, which is apparently responsible for transforming fine raw glass into the majority of iPhone glass panels out there (and contrary to previous reports, there's no mention of Corning here). Read on to find out what's causing our invisible hero to stall.
