David Archuleta "Something 'Bout Love" Music Video: Watch Now!

He might not be on the level of Eminem and Kanye West - both of whom released new videos this week, which you can view HERE and HERE - but David Archuleta possesses as loyal a fan base as any singer out there.

Those followers should be extra excited today, too, because the former American Idol runner-up has also come out with a video for his latest single.

It's titled "Something 'Bout Love" and will be included on Archie's new album, whose release date has been pushed back until October 5. Says David of the following video:

"[It's] about people who are feeling a little down and a little alone... and just feeling a little frustrated with love or their situation in life. Even though you might feel down with love, there's something about it you shouldn't give up on."

Suits you sirs! Kim Kardashian and sister Kourtney dress up as men on photoshoot

Curvy sisters Kim Kardashian and sister Kourtney had a job on their hands yesterday when they were asked to rock the androgynous lock on a mystery photo shoot.

The reality TV stars were dressed in men's suits, braces and ties for the pictures, some of which which Kim put up on her official Twitter account, @KimKardashian, despite describing it as a "top secret family photo shoot."

Kim joked about the snaps: "Gotta spice up the boy look ;- )"

Ironically, in a Twitter exchange yesterday with a fan, she said she felt her life was "blessed" but moaned about the "lack of privacy".

Meanwhile, the Kardashian sisters have just announced - via their social media, of course, that they're designing their own range of handbags, shoes and accessories.

Windows 7 takes on iPad… and holds its own?

Plenty gets said about Windows 7 and its suitability for tablets, and despite Steve Ballmer’s best efforts not much of it is positive. But have we all been too harsh on the Microsoft OS? A side-by-side comparison video pitting a Hanvon slate running Windows 7 agains the iPad running iOS goes some way to suggesting that the desktop OS can hold its own against its Apple counterpart.

The demo runs through browsing, text entry using on-screen keyboards, YouTube access (either via the full site, on the Hanvon slate, or the iPad’s dedicated YouTube app), messaging and Google Earth, as well as a few other tasks. While at first glance you might assume the mobile-centric iPad would easily overshadow its rival, the Hanvon puts in a surprisingly good showing.

iPod refresh coming sooner than expected

A report from Brazilian news site MacMagazine says Apple's annual refresh of its iPod line is little more than a week away.

Citing "a reliable source within Apple," MacMagazine pegs the unveiling of the next-generation iPods between August 14-16, the first two days of which are a Saturday and a Sunday, leaving Monday the 16th as a more likely candidate.

For the last four years, Apple has held its iPod press events in early September, and is widely expected to follow suit this year. In the past, the company released new iPod models on an annual basis as early as March or April, and as late as October--as it did in 2005 with the introduction of the iPod Video.

Rumored details of the next-generation iPod Touch have been trickling in over the past few weeks. The latest reports have pointed to the addition of a gyroscope, a so-called retina display, and both a front- and back-facing camera to facilitate the company's FaceTime video chat feature. All of these upgrades were made to this year's iPhone as well.

HP CEO Hurd resigns over sexual harassment investigation

Well, this is unexpected, HP has just announced that CEO Mark Hurd is stepping down. CFO Cathie Lesjak has been appointed as interim CEO.

According to a press release, Hurd, 53, is resigning on the heels of sexual harassment charges by a former HP contractor. The company’s investigation concluded that there was no sexual harassment violation, however it did find that Hurd violated HP’s “Standards of Business Conduct.” On a conference call, HP’s General Counsel, Mike Holston elaborated further, explaining that the case centered around expense reports that were used to hide the true nature of Hurd’s close relationship with the contractor.

“Mark demonstrated a profound lack of judgment that seriously undermined his credibility and damaged his effectiveness in leading HP – and Mark agreed,” Holston said in a statement.

According to the details available, it seems like Hurd, who is married (at least for now), was entangled in a personal relationship with a hired contractor— an affair he tried to obfuscate with some fudged expense reports.

JaeBum, “My comments on Korea, they were not from my heart”

JaeBum, who left 2PM after criticisms of his MySpace comments blew out of proportions last August, talks honestly about it after returning to Korea after 10 months.

JaeBum was featured for an interview held in a studio in Seoul HanNamDong on KBS 2TV Entertainment Weekly on 4th August.

On the show, JaeBum talks about the criticisms as well as his honest feelings, “I am very sorry. The stuff that I wrote when I am still young and things that I wrote without much thought had cause hurt to so many people, I’m sorry about that. I want to say that those are not from my heart.”

JaeBum also talked about his feelings having to leave 2PM permanently and his thoughts about the other 2PM members. He said, “After I returned to Korea, I have not contacted the other 2PM members. I feel sorry towards the other members.”

Louis Koo Drops 20 lbs Due to Filming Stress

Louis Koo Tin Lok, Gao Yuan Yuan, Johnnie To and Wai Ka Fai are currently in the midst of filming new movie, Single Men and Women "單身男女". Wearing a shirt and tie in one office scene, it was obvious that Louis had dropped significant weight. Due to the extremely hot temperatures while filming in Hong Kong and Shanghai , Louis has dropped twenty pounds recently! His costumes had to be continuously altered due to his thin frame.

Gao Yuan Yuan and Louis shared a passionate kiss in one scene, which was quite humorous since the pair kissed while attempting to tidy the house and close the lights. Was there any embarrassment during the kissing scene? Yuan Yuan said, “Actors have to be immersed in their roles!” Yuan Yuan indicated that she communicated in Mandarin with Louis, complimenting on her co-star’s improvement in the dialect.

Angelina Jolie: Still Having to Defend Shiloh's Style

We thought for sure Angelina Jolie's comments last month would finally put an end to the relentless discussion over her daughter Shiloh's boyish style.

But it seems the Salt star is, yet again, facing questions about something that is really nobody's business…

"I have a very strong-willed four-year-old girl who tells me what she wants to wear and I let her be who she is," the actress tells the British mag Grazia. "I think people think kids should be a certain way, but I feel they should wear what they feel like wearing and they should express themselves."

As for her little one's locks, the mother of six adds: "Shiloh cried one night and said, 'Please cut my hair off. I don't want to have long hair.' I'm not going to leave it long just because somebody thinks I should."

Agreed. Now, how about everybody just go and pick on the style of someone their own size?

Droid 2 looks confirmed for August 12, Best Buy pits it against the competition

We'd broken the news of the Droid 2's August 12 street date a couple weeks ago, and we're now getting confirmation of that -- at Best Buy, anyhow -- thanks to a couple tips we've received today, including the screen shot above. An actual launch is going to feel like sweet release after what has become the most thoroughly-leaked phone in recent memory, but if you need yet more fodder for your overactive imagination, we'd recommend you follow the break for Best Buy's competitive analysis of the phone, which does a commendable job breaking down all the differences between it and its direct predecessor -- notably the significantly speedier core, the mobile hotspot support, 802.11n, and the onboard storage (though you get a smaller microSD card in the box). Question is, where can we get that R2-D2 edition?

Sprint Samsung Epic 4G (Galaxy S) pre-orders may start today

Reports are coming in that later today, Sprint will start taking pre-orders for the Samsung Epic 4G, their version of the Galaxy S.

Right now however, the page that will supposedly allow you to do this still shows just the option to sign up to receive updates via email.

Rumor also has it that reservations for the Epic 4G can be made until August 17th. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the phone will ship on the 18th, but one can hope. Apparently, only one reservation will be allowed per customer, and you won’t have to pony up any cash to pre-order Sprint’s new top smartphone.

If you do go ahead and reserve a Samsung Epic 4G, you’ll have to then buy it by noon the day after launch, since Sprint won’t keep it for you any longer. They are probably anticipating a very big number of requests.
