TVXQ Sing Theme Song For NHK's New Drama

Popular Korean group TVXQ has been chosen to provide the theme song for the upcoming drama series "Tomehane! Suzuri Koukou Shodoubu." This will be their first one for a Japanese drama on NHK.The song will be a rhythmic pop tune titled "BREAK OUT!" It is planned for release as a single this winter.
The "Tomehane!" drama series was first announced in June. Adapted from a manga by Katsutoshi Kawai, the story follows a young high school girl named Yuki Mochizuki (Aki Asakura), a top judo athlete who winds up in her school's calligraphy club.
NHK will air "Tomehane!" on Thursday nights at 8:00pm, starting on January 7.
