Ray Lui who have not filmed Hong Kong drama series for a long time, has returned to TVB to film [Born Rich], leaving a refreshing feeling to the audience along with his collaboration with Gallen Lo, Anita Yuen and other veteran artistes.In responding to the average ratings received for [Born Rich] and netizens’ criticisms, he said : [No pressure as I have done my best during filming, ratings are not decided by me. As regards netizen’s criticisms, everyone is entitled to their voice out their own opinion, I will openly accept their comments].
Always a tough man, Ray Lui deliberately changed his acting style to suit his character in this seris, however, he said he has never thought about garnering ‘Best Actor’ award: To this, he said: [The award presentation ceremony is an entertainment program, it’s not a competition, however, rewarding artistes who have performed well is a good thing, and it also enables the audience to be part of the excitement]. Ray was asked who he thinks is the best amongst the new generation of artsites, he said : [I think Raymond Lam is good, I have watched the series ‘Master of Tai Chi’ in which he acted with Vincent Zhao, he has good martial arts skills and good acting skills].
