Nokia has just announced it financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2009.

The Finnish company reports net sales of €12 billion for Q4 2009, and net sales of €40.9 billion for full 2009. The operating profit for Q4 was €1.14 billion, while the operating profit for full 2009 was of €1.19 billion (the Q4 2009 and full 2009 values are almost the same because Nokia actually lost money in the previous quarters).

Overall, Nokia sold 431.8 million devices in 2009 (67.8 million of them were smartphones) – that’s a 7.8% decrease compared to the 468.4 million units sold in 2008.
