SNSD’s follow-up MV with dark & sexy concept confirmed!

Although we were all anticipating SNSD’s Oh! music video, the ending was quite unexpected: who knew that the nine gals’ darker selves would appear out of nowhere at the end of the video?
Fortunately for fans, SM Entertainment has confirmed that the teaser at the end is a glimpse of a follow-up track that has yet to be revealed. With their black leather outfits and dark make-up, this mysterious concept bears a stark contrast not only to the bubbly, Barbie-esque cheerleader concept of Oh! but to the peppy style that SNSD is known for, period. “The ending teaser is intended to generate curiosity amongst viewers about SNSD’s complete transformation,” an SME rep revealed.
With the energetic, electro-pop feel of Oh!, SNSD intended to freshen up the kpop scene with their charms. We don’t have many details regarding this upcoming dark concept, but I’ve taken a few screenshots and there’s a brief scene in the MV in which the darker members rip down an SNSD poster to reveal a someone wearing a dark cheerleader uniform. Does that mean the second concept will also be cheerleader-related? Or maybe this is that futuristic concept a related stylist was hinting at the other week? We’ll have to wait and see!
