LG Remarq LN240 QWERTY phone coming to Sprint

LG has announced some of the phones that it plans to showcase at CTIA Wireless 2010 (which debuts tomorrow), and it looks like there are only tow new devices among them: LG Remark LN240 for Sprint, and another handset for Verizon.

The LG Remark LN240 has a landscape display (probably QVGA) and a vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard. Its other features are not know, and neither are its price and release date via Sprint.

There’s also a new phone for Verizon, but LG didn’t announce its name – it’s horizontal slider resembling the LG Rumor.

Update: Sprint announced that the LG LN240 is actually called LG Remarq (not Remark, as LG says in its press release). The phone is an eco-friendly one and will be sold starting May 9 for free with a 2-yr contract agreement. The LG Remarq features MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth, 1.3MP camera and easy access to Facebook and Photobucket. You can get notified on when the LG Remarq becomes available here.

Other phones that LG will showcase at CTIA 2010: LG GT540, LG GW620, LG GS500 Cookie Plus, LG Expo GW820, LG GW550 and LG GM750.

The South Korean company will also present an LTE terminal and demonstrate features like HD video, video conferencing and fast Web surfing.
