Opera Mini for iPhone to be showcased at CTIA 2010, still no word on availability

Opera Mini for iPhone was first demoed at MWC 2010, but back then Opera didn’t say when it will be available to end users.
Now the Norway-based software company is announcing that it will demo Opera Mini for iPhone again, this time during CTIA Wireless 2010, on March 23 (when it will also showcase Opera Mini 5 for Android). Opera says that this is the first time when it will “allow video recording and photography” of its mobile browser for iPhone.
Opera is still quiet on when exactly it will launch Opera Mini for iPhone, but it looks like the company is really close to submitting it to the App Store.
Of course, Apple may not approve Opera Mini’s availability on the App Store, since the browser basically duplicates the functionality of Safari for iPhone. However, there are probably many iPhone users who would at least want to test (if not use on a daily basis) Opera Mini, so Apple should really approve it.
