International singing sensation Charice Pempengco is in chats to join the cast of television’s breakout musical hit, Glee.
According to an Asian tabloid, the Filipina pop star — who wowed the world with a stirring performance on Oprah earlier this year — is on the verge of signing on as a series regular for the forthcoming second season of Glee.
“Yes, it’s true, Charice will soon join Glee,” Charice’s manager Grace Mendozar reportedly told The Philippines’ Inquirer Tuesday. “And not just as a guest, but as part of the cast in a new season.”
