Anklebreaking hoofers and a wacky wardrobe are part of the package that shot Lady Gaga to the top of the pop charts, but the former Big Apple stripper is reportedly ready to toss off her famous weird robings to pose naked for The House That Hef Built.
The “Poker Face” singer negotiating a nude centerfold that will appear in a forthcoming issue of Playboy – despite fierce opposition from her friends and crew, including stylist Nicola Formichetti — tattling tipsters tell British tabloid Heat. The rumored move comes year after Gaga unceremoniously snubbed an offer to strip down on the pages of the world’s most respected men’s mag.
“No-one wants her to do it. Her business people are trying to convince her that it could be seen as being a bit lowbrow and cheesy, and will alienate her fans who like her edgy appeal,” says a spying Bunny close to the rumored Playboy deal. “She thinks it will be an experience, and she’s always looking to grow as an artist. She doesn’t think there’s anything distasteful about it. She sees it as just another form of expression.”
The source squeals: “She’s been chatting with everyone about it all week. She’s always been a fan of Hugh Hefner’s, and his whole sex-as-art kind of thing.
