Here is your destination for goodies related to film, comics and more! And when it comes to big screen comic book adaptations the heroes don’t get much bigger than Thor and Captain America. One is the son of Odin (who will be portrayed by Anthony Hopkins). Beware of his hammer. The other is the very first Avenger, a patriotic icon with a very snazzy shield. The star of Thor is Chris Hemsworth, the leading man of Captain America: The First Avenger is Chris Evans. You can see their blue eyes smolder above, but the real news is the dazzling new artwork for their respective movies, which you can see below.
The concept art comes in the form of beautiful new posters which will be given out to adoring fans at the infamous San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 24th at Booth #2329. And this news comes a few days after the unveiling of the first Asgard photo (Thor and Odin have to live somewhere, right?).
Marvel is at home at Comic-Con and they’ll have more than just posters in tow. Kenneth Branagh, director of Thor, along with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston will be there. Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving and Joe Johnston are on the guest list as well. The actors and directors will be signing the fantastic new posters.
