DROID Incredible 720p update slated to drop this weekend?

A rumor originating from Droid-Life suggests that DROID Incredible owners may be the recipients of an OTA update this weekend. The update is rumored to bring 720p video recording, several bug fixes, Skype, the MyVerizon app, updated widgets, and the DROID red eye boot animation to the Incredible. Some hard-core Android fans will be disappointed to know that this update is expected to be Android 2.1 and not the much anticipated Froyo build. If this rumor pans out, and Big Red sticks to its previous rollout schedule, Incredible owners should receive the update in waves with a small number receiving it on day one and increasing numbers on subsequent days.
