It's a look that would make Glee good girl Rachel Berry gasp.
But in real life, actress Lea Michelle is proving to be much more daring than her famous on-screen character.
The 23-year-old shows her sexy side in this new racy photo shoot for celebrity hairdresser Mark Townsend’s website MARKTBeauty.com.
In one shot she sheds her top, wearing only a suit jacket daringly left open, showing off a huge glittery necklace.
In another, the star wears a transparent lace American Apparel bodysuit and satin trousers and looks a world away from the high school girl she plays on the hit show.
Posing by a white grand piano in a slinky and sophisticated floor-length gown, Lea looks stunning and elegant in its one-shouldered draped neckline, with her hair piled up Audrey Hepburn-style.
Back in L.A. shooting the new season of Glee, Lea has recently lost weight.
Acting and singing on Broadway since she was eight, she's always exercised and enjoys rock climbing, but at last night's TCA Fox All-star party on Santa Monica pier, she was looking noticeably slimmer than before.
Lea explained her weight loss to US OK! magazine, saying: 'I’m a vegan. It makes me feel really good and bright.'
'You need a lot of energy to play spunky Rachel Berry, so I’ve tried a lot of different things - and so far, this is working.'
The petite 5' 3" actress was dressed for the party in a strapless maxi dress by designer Giambattisa Valli.
Lea is also far more rebellious that her character - she also recently revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that she has a total of nine tattoos, her favourite being the two musical notes on her shoulder.
