Kanye West debuts new Beyoncé-assisted track 'See Me Now'

Kanye West premiered his new "See Me Now" song, featuring Beyoncé and Charlie Wilson, and revealed that his album will be released on Nov. 16 during an interview this afternoon with New York radio station WQHT (Hot 97).

"Beyoncé finished those vocals at 5am this morning," West said of the track. "I couldn't be the only person this summer riding around with that." The rapper added that Nicki Minaj and Kid Cudi will appear on the as-yet-untitled album and that Jay-Z will be featured on the remix to first single "Power," which will premiere this coming Friday (Aug. 13) on the same radio station.

"I swear my whole collection so cool, I might walk in Nobu with no shoes/He just walked in Nobu like it was Whole Foods/That n*gga crazy, I told you," Kanye raps on the airy beat to "See Me Now," produced by Lex Luger ("MC Hammer," "I Go Hard in the Paint") and longtime collaborator No I.D.

"I know one thing, my momma would be proud/And you see me looking up cause I know she's looking down right now," Beyoncé sings on the bridge before Wilson jumps in for the hook. "I know you see me now right now, I know you see me now right now," he repeats in his deep tenor.

While being interviewed by host Angie Martinez, West discussed a number of topics, including Lil Wayne's position in hip-hop music. "I got a little bit of time before Wayne gets out," he joked about wanting to release his album before the self-proclaimed Best Rapper Alive is released from jail. "He's the scariest artist."

He also gave props to Young Money member Nicki Minaj, making the bold statement that she has the potential to be the second biggest rapper in hip-hop. "I think she has the most potential our of everyone to be the No. 2 rapper of all time, after Eminem -- he's No. 1," he said. "I love where the game is at. I think Wayne has changed the perspective of the meaning of Southern rappers and has annihilated everyone at one time."

Aside from Wayne, Kanye said Kid Cudi, Drake, Rick Ross and Jay-Z are among his favorites.

'Ye also talked about being humbled by the controversy between him and Taylor Swift at last year's MTV VMAs, stating, "I needed that. I have to have humility. I had truth and confidence, but I had to add humility and empathy. I added those after I got beat up. It is what it is, and I grew from it."

He credits ex-girlfriend Amber Rose with teaching him how to be "nicer to people. She'd be like, 'You talk to your fans so crazy!'" he said. "That was the greatest growth I got from that experience. Now, 'See Me Now' is good energy again."

Although that relationship has come to an end, West said he's looking forward to marriage and having children one day. "That was a one-off," he said about his bout with the former stripper, "I'm not trying to dive into anything unless I think I can marry that person. I want to look at that person and say, 'This is how I want my daughter to be.'"

About recently joining Twitter and only following one person on the social networking site, Kanye explained, "I only want people to see my tweets. I'm very clean and organized in that way.

"For me, I feel like I'm back home," Kanye added about his upcoming set. "I stretched the boundaries and now it's just like 'Through The Wire.' I'm back at homeplate."
