And it is possible that Natasha Bedingfield could beat that record with her new single Strip Me.
The 28-year-old British songstress has released a teaser clip from the song's new video and promises a sexy new edge to the usually tame appearance we are used to from the singer.
In the clip Bedingfield can be seen rocking a Mohawk hair style and dramatic make up and she sings about being stripped bare.
'If you strip me, strip it all away, I’ll be alright. Take what you want. Steal my pride. Build me up. Or cut me down to size,' Natasha sings.
She is then seen just from the bare shoulders up, giving her the appearance of nakedness, while hands apply and remove various pieces of clothing or jewellery from her as she sings.
The song is the second single off her upcoming album of the same name which is released on November 9.
The singer has used some unusual promotional techniques to publicise the release including a performance on Dancing With The Stars and a collaboration with a hotel group called Indigo Hotels.
The song also appears on the trailer for an upcoming movie, Morning Glory.
The singer is married to Matt Robinson, a businessman and film maker.
The pair married in Malibu on March 21 2009.
