Wonder Girls have been busy with their Wonder Girls World Tour. Now with all but 6 shows remaining, their 2 Different Tears (EP) has made it onto Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums Chart at #21!
Wonder Girls made big news in October when they entered the Billboard charts for the first time with their Nobody single at 76th on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles. Interestingly, the Heatseekers Albums Chart ranks the top selling albums of new or developing artists each week excluding those who have made it into the top 100 of the Billboard 200, but just like last time, Wonder Girls have somehow made it onto the Heatseekers Albums Chart.

Do Android developers outnumber iPhone developers? If you believe this survey of 401 mobile developers than yes, yes they do. Vision Mobile, a “market analysis and strategy firm delivering market know-how to the mobile industry,” have a poll that indicates that more mobile application developers have experience with Google’s Android platform than with any other mobile platform, including Apple’s iOS. Developers polled cited: large market penetration, speed of development, potential to make money, and low cost dev tools as reasons for initially choosing Android. Developers indicated that they have the most experience in Android, followed by iOS, Java ME, Symbian, then “mobile web.” We should note, the poll asked developers which mobile platform(s) they had experience coding in, so it was possible to answer with multiple platforms. Just yesterday, rookie group Girl’s Day revealed their teaser which consisted of a robot-like concept, with the girls working in a production line acting all robotic.
Although it didn’t tease much of the music video and actual song, the ladies released their official debut music video today.
Girl’s Day definitely brought a new style to the table with a unique and catchy song. Things are bound to improve for the girls in the near future.
Check out their debut MV “Tilt my head (갸우뚱)”

Rumors are starting to fly around the the interwebs about the alleged throttling of upload speeds by everyones favorite wireless carrier AT&T (note: sarcasm). Users are reporting — on Apple’s discussion boards amongst other places — upload speeds topping out at around 100 Kbps in areas that consistently had much higher upload speds. If you’re wondering if your upload speeds are what they should be, go ahead and grab Speedtest.net (available for Android, Apple, BlackBerry, Palm) and let us know what your clocking in at. Currently, I’m seeing 1.8 Mbps down and 1.2 Mbps up in Boston, MA, however…BG is seeing around 300 Kbps down and around 50 Kbps up in New York, NY (ew). How about you?
