Director Chen Ming Zhang 陈铭章 will direct the new 2010 Hunan TV idol series “Single Princesses and Blind Dates” that explores the love lives of single mature women. It combines the hot topics of blind dates and the love lives of modern single people. The female lead 乐彤彤, according to Chen, is a “common, kind-hearted, and reserved girl nextdoor”. The male lead 纪凡 is a playboy outwardly yet warm-hearted inside.
The male leads are 2 idol series actors from Taiwan: Dylan Kuo 郭品超 from White Robe of Rose and Jimmy Lin 林志颖 from My Lucky Star.
(Chen Ming Zhang's most notable works are the top-rated Taiwanese series Prince Turned to Frog, Fated to Love you, and My Lucky Star. Filming has started in Shanghai.)
