MEGAN Fox has already been replaced!Movie insiders say Katie Cassidy — the 23-year-old daughter of ’70s pop star David Cassidy — is the hot favorite play Shia LaBeouf’s love interest in Transformers 3.
Fox recently quit the project and director Michael Bay is apparently keen to work with Cassidy.
“Michael worked with Katie on A Nightmare On Elm Street and he sees her as the perfect choice,” a source said.
“Megan was unknown when she was cast in the first Transformers and Katie is in that same mold.
“She even looks a little like Megan — only blonde.”

Megan Fox’s loss could mean a big career gain for tall, bald, and surgically-altered reality star Heidi Montag.
Montag is hoping to star in the next installment of Transformers 3. No, not as one of the robots (although she already has enough plastic parts to make a pretty convincing one). Mrs. Pratt apparently wants to replace Megan as Shia LeBeouf’s love interest in the series, a role filled by the bombshell until she quit….or was fired, depending on who’s telling the story….earlier this week.
“Michael Bay I love your work! I know what a artistic brilliant genius you are! Cast me in the next Transformers,” Montag, 23, wrote in a self-serving message on Twitter Wednesday.

Earlier this year, Montag said she wanted to replace Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider series.
