There has been feverish anticipation ever since a spin off to the hugely successful IRIS was announced for this year.
The spin off titled Athena – Goddess of War was to be produced by the same production house behind IRIS, Taewon Entertainment and boasted of an impressive cast which include Jung Woo Sung, Cha Seung Won, Soo Ae, Lee Ji Ah, Kim Min Jong and Choi Siwon.
Actress Lee Bo Young was also announced to be joining the cast but her late addition meant that she won’t make it on the first promotional posters which have been revealed on June 25th of the above-mentioned cast members.
From the photos, we can see that most of them are decked out in black themed oufits and one can feel the intense confrontations that lies ahead. Filming has already begun and will be airing in the latter half of 2010.
