Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu to break into Chinese market with East Asia Entertainment

It was reported all over Hong Kong and Asian media outlets on September 7th that the TVXQ trio, Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu (JYJ) have officially joined East Asia Entertainment.


This new arrangement will see East Asia assisting JYJ to seek out opportunities in the lucrative Chinese market, focusing in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The new deal not only includes releasing music albums, but also entails concerts, CFs, movies, dramas, etc in the Chinese market.

East Asia Entertainment is currently the biggest media and entertainment company in Asia and stars under their company include Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Daniel Wu, Sammi Cheng, etc; They have organized and produced over 1,000 concerts and performances; sister company, Media Asia has produced the Infernal Affairs Trilogy, The Warlords, Initial D, etc movies in recent years.

According to officials from East Asia, JYJ has amazing stage charisma, is one of the best groups and is a super idol among young Asians and they are honored to have them in the company.

JYJ is expected to make their debut bow under their new label at the East Asia All Stars Concert for the Shanghai Expo 2010 on October 23rd at the Hongkou Soccer Stadium.
