Britney Spears forgets to wear a bra again

She's obviously not a big fan of underwear as Britney Spears has forgotten to wear a bra once again.

Wearing a tight v-neck sweater, the singer's curves were evident as she strolled from her hotel in Perth, Australia to an awaiting car.

Perhaps her mind was on more important issues - like her performance that night on her Circus world tour where she has been performing to packed arenas.

However some media reports suggest concert goers have been less than impressed with her lip-synching during the performance.

The Toxic star has already performed an impressive 83 dates in North America and Europe on her Circus would tour, but this is Britney's first foray touring Australia.

It comes ahead of her The Single Collection, set to hit shelves on November 23.

Two weeks ago, the song went straight in at number three in America's Billboard Hot 11 single charts.

Buying the right Windows 7 upgrade

When I wrote on Monday about the ins and outs of what counts as proper licensing of Windows 7, I was worried that it might turn into a flame war. But, instead, readers sent in a whole bunch of really good questions on the intricacies of licensing Windows 7 that went beyond the basics I had covered.

Things like dual-boot machines and systems with beta versions of the operating system raise all sorts of interesting licensing challenges.

Before we dive into the edge cases, though, here's a recap of the basics on Windows 7.

For those upgrading their PC, they can choose from Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate editions. There is also a family pack that includes three upgrade licenses for Windows 7 Home Premium.

Many people will have to do what is known as a custom or "clean" installation, which involves backing up one's data, installing Windows 7, then restoring the data and re-installing all applications.

All users of XP will have to go this route, as will those moving from a 32-bit version of Vista to a 64-bit version of Windows 7 (or vice versa), as well as those who are moving from a higher-end version of Windows Vista to a lower-end version of Windows 7.

Those moving from Windows Vista to the same version of Windows 7 (or to Ultimate) can do what is known as an "in-place" upgrade, which preserves files and applications.

Anyway, on to the tough cases. Here are some of the questions that readers sent me, as well as the answers I heard back from Microsoft.

Q: I installed the release candidate version of Windows 7 on a reformatted hard drive that previously had Windows Vista installed. Can I use the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade version to install a licensed copy?
A: Yes. You can do a custom installation ("clean install") to Windows 7 using the upgrade. The Windows 7 installer will detect you have the RC installed, enabling you to do this.

Q: Try as I might, I haven't been able to find any reliable information on whether I can upgrade from Vista Home Premium Edition (that came with my HP Laptop) straight to Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate, or whether it is only possible to upgrade from "Vista Home Premium" to "Windows 7 Home Premium."
A: You can do an in-place upgrade from Home Premium to Ultimate, provided you aren't switching from 32-bit to 64-bit or vice versa. Going from Home Premium to professional, however, requires a custom installation. (For a chart of which versions can be done via in-place upgrades, check out this Microsoft Web page.)

Q: I have Vista Basic on two computers and XP on the other one. So all I would have to do is use a Windows 7 upgrade disc on all three computers? Does one disc do one computer or will it do all three? I live in Canada, not the U.S.
A: In both the U.S. and Canada, your best bet is probably the Windows 7 family pack, which offers a license to upgrade up to three PCs.

Q: Can you use an upgrade disk to run XP (or Vista) in dual-boot (meaning that one partition or hard drive has the older operating system and the other partition or drive has Windows 7?

A: Microsoft treats a dual-boot machine as if it were two PCs, so you can only use the upgrade if you are installing over an existing Windows partition. So, unless you have two licenses already on that system, you will need a full copy of Windows 7.

Q: What about upgrading a Mac?
A: In order to qualify to use the upgrade version, Mac owners need to be running a previously licensed full copy of Windows (not just a beta version). That applies whether one they are using Windows in Boot Camp or using a virtualization product like Parallels or VMWare's Fusion.

Kris Allen's Time Is Running Out

t's no fancy-schmancy album cover art, but it sure is pretty.

American Idol champ Kris Allen has unveiled the music video for his first single, "Live Like We're Dying," and overall, it's pretty standard. A guitar-wielding Allen performs his song in the middle of the desert on a larger-than-life-size digital clock, while countless unexplained tattered and torn curtains blow in the wind around him.

You know, that old chestnut.

The former Idoler does what he can to turn up the heat on the small screen, at one point literally throwing what looks to be a gigantic fire ball.

On the other had, as videos of the coffeehouse varitey go, it's not too shabby.

SM Entertainment to give TVXQ a new contract?; TVXQ Releases “Toki Wo Tomete”

SM Entertainment CEO's Kim Young Min, who is involved in the ‘unfair contract’ dispute with his three members of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki, has recently announced a new contract policy, and that it will be put into action once it gets approved by the related authorities.

"Kim Young Min, who attended the press conference which was held on the 2nd of November 2009 at 63 Tower, has expressed, “We would collect all comments from music and entertainment industries, related government departments, cultural and tourism board, fair trade departments, educational circles and legislative bodies, based on the law to adjudicate a new contract policy. After the approval from the respective authorities, we would then put it into action. Then follow it (new contract policy) enthusiastically.”

Kim agreed, “If we are able to come out with a new exclusive contract policy based on the law, SM would like to re-contract with all current artistes based on it.”

Kim also expressed, “Under the new exclusive contract, from the moment it’s signed, it would be protected till the contract ended, if not the current situation would repeat over and over again in the future.”

“In order to prove what I have just said is nothing but the truth, we would first like to take the advice from the impartial committee,” he said.

But, everyone was not able to fully believe this announcement by SM Entertainment. Professor Lee from Korea Art University stated, “If SM do not wish to have what they have just said to turned into nothing, then they should assure them.” He continued, “Based on what SM have said, they do not wish to fully take on the advice from the impartial committee, but to forcefully come out with a new contract policy, which was questionable (their announcement).” Professor Lee ended, “If SM was really sincere about this, they should work on the new contract based on the advice and not vice versa, and then to get it approved by the representative authorities.”

We will have to see what the authorities in charge of the case do with this new contract. If the contract is fair in their judgment and if the boys will accept it, but this seems a bit promising.

TVXQ Releases “Toki Wo Tomete”

Despite all the ups and downs the came with the TVXQ vs. SM Entertainment issue, the boys are doing what they can to help their fans keep the faith.

They have released another Japanese single titled Toki Wo Tomete. This lovely ballad was featured on a CF for the cosmetics brand Menard back in August. Check out the snippet here:

The song was also previously featured on TOHOSHINKI THE LIVE 2009. Although the quality of the track is not as clean as we'd like, it will have to do for now. Hang tight with allkpop until a clearer version is released!

February 2013 - The date when Firefox could pass Internet Explorer

Mark this date in your diaries and on your calendars: February 2013. It’s my best guess date based on the data I have for when Firefox’s global market share will surpass that of Internet Explorer.

The other day I was asked an interesting question - when will Firefox’s market share pass that of Internet Explorer. Initially I shrugged off the question and answered it with a dismissive “dunno.” The question did, however, set me thinking.

Earlier today I took a trip over the the Net Applications site for a totally unrelated job, and pulled up the chart showing market share for the different browsers for the past two years. Then something struck me - the market share growth of Firefox and the decline of IE is almost linear.

Note: The data that I look at most often is Net Applications. This company draws browser and OS data based on 160 million visitors per month visiting client websites, whic means that the data is drawn from a variety of websites. I think that this is more representative than data drawn from a single website, or a group of websites on a similar subject.

Interesting.

I downloaded the data and plugged it all into Excel so I could take a closer look. I added a trendline for Firefox growth and IE’s decline and confirmed that the data fits well into a linear trendline.

Cool. So people are leaving IE for Firefox at a relatively steady rate.

So, I extended the trendlines for both Firefox and IE out by 42 months and looked for an intersection. And here it is:

The intersection of the two trendlines lies between January and February 2013.

How much confidence do I have in this data? Well, I wouldn’t bet the farm on the date. Plenty of factors could come into play here. However, given the organic growth of Firefox so far, I think that it’s quite possible that gains could become even more rapid that that predicted here.

Then again, Microsoft might be able to make using IE cool again and reverse the decline. Or other factors such as Apple Safari or Google Chrome might become more influential.

Nude portrait of Bond girl Eva Green who's 'not confident' with her body

Bond girl Eva Green insists she’s ‘not confident’ about her body – but you might beg to differ, given her latest sultry photoshoot.

The 29-year-old seemed to show no inhibitions when she posed naked for the latest edition of style bible Tatler, recreating a classic Seventies portrait of British actress Charlotte Rampling.

Sitting on a polished antique table in front of an ornately gilded mirror, the Casino Royale star has only a glass of wine for company as she mimics erotic photographer Helmut Newton’s 1973 memorable image.

One thing has changed through the decades, though – the pack of cigarettes behind Ms Rampling’s derriere has vanished, a nod to the fact smoking is no longer promoted as sexy.

Despite her protestations, this is not the first time Paris-born Ms Green has been naked in the line of duty.

Sex symbol: Charlotte Rampling's sultry pose in Helmut Newton's 1973 photo firmly sealed her reputation

Before starring as Vesper Lynd opposite Daniel Craig’s 007, she took a lead role in The Dreamers, a film by Last Tango In Paris director Bernardo Bertolucci that featured several explicit bedroom scenes.

Even though the role was her big-screen debut, Ms Green’s father and twin sister Joy refused to watch it.

The actress said: ‘They’re not in the business. They get confused.’

And she admitted: ‘I felt a bit ill when I saw it. I’m not confident with my body.’

But she seems to have conquered her coyness for Tatler. Another image shows her wearing only a mink coat – again echoing a familiar theme from the work of German-born Newton, who died in 2004.

His 1973 photograph of Ms Rampling for Vogue magazine – taken at the Hotel Nord Pinus II in Arles, near Marseilles, and titled The Sexiest Woman In The World – firmly sealed her reputation as a sex symbol.

Ms Green thinks she is unlikely to earn the same plaudits.

‘I opened a magazine the other day and they called me the worst-dressed person in the world,’ she said.

‘And I was like, “I like that dress.”’

Well, at least no one can criticise what she’s wearing in this latest picture ...

Think The Droid Launch Was A Let Down? Not So Fast.

Yesterday I detailed my quest to find the throngs of Droid fans who had woken up at the crack of dawn to grab a place in line before Verizon unleashed the phone to the masses. Yet despite reports of lines elsewhere, I failed — the Verizon store in Palo Alto was a ghost town, as was the Best Buy down the street. Some commenters took my story and similar reports as an indication that the Droid’s launch had bombed, doomed to play out the same fate of the numerous supposed ‘iPhone killers’ before it. It looks like they may be wrong — that store sold over 70 Droids yesterday, according to one of its employees.

Today I returned to the Verizon store where yesterday’s quest began, looking to get my hands on one of the nifty docking stations that turns your Droid into a desktop clock/multimedia station. And while I expected a handful of other customers to be in the store, I was taken aback by just how crowded it was — each of the registers was busy ringing up a customer while others waited their turn, three people were standing in line just to touch the demo Droid unit, and I had to put my name on the list to talk to someone. When I asked one of the employees if they were selling a lot of Droids, his somewhat breathless response was “Yeah, a lot. Over 70 yesterday, we got a shipment of another 100 in today.” Oh, and they were out of both the dock I had come for and spare batteries. Maybe the lack of an early morning line wasn’t so damning after all.

Obviously this store represents a single data point, but so did my story yesterday. Here’s some more evidence that Droid might be doing pretty well, after all: last night Pandora CTO Tom Conrad tweeted,

“Just saw Pandora’s Android install numbers for the day. Wow! There may not be lines, but Droids are very much among us – and running Pandora”.

We followed up for more details, and while Conrad declined to give any exact stats for now, he did say that Pandora’s download rate tripled, going on to say “We were doing well on Android before though, so the increase is pretty amazing.”

If you’re an Android dev, let us know in the comments if you’ve seen a boost too. And if you’ve passed your local Verizon store, let us know how busy it was.

'A Christmas Carol' leads the box office with $9 mil on Friday

Jim Carrey, or rather a performance-capture CGI version of the actor, delivered enough holiday spirit to snatch the top spot at the box office on Friday, according to early estimates. Disney’s A Christmas Carol, director Robert Zemeckis’ animated adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novella, grossed $9 million on its first day. By comparison, the last major family film, Where the Wild Things Are, ate up $12.1 million its opening day, but Carol should have much sturdier legs in the upcoming weeks. Carol’s total is also slightly less than the opening gross of Zemeckis’ prior performance-capture flick, Beowulf, which slew $10 million back in 2007.

Second place went to the Milla Jovovich horror film The Fourth Kind, which abducted $5 million from moviegoers’ wallets. The Men Who Stare at Goats, the wacky war comedy starring George Clooney, earned $4.6 million — the best debut ever for a movie with “goat” in its title. Michael Jackson’s This Is It displayed some staying power, dropping a respectable 47 percent for $4.2 million. And fifth place was a tie between two horror movies: the new Cameron Diaz release The Box and the holdover phenomenon Paranormal Activity. Early figures had both films at $2.9 million.

In limited release, the Oscar-hopeful drama Precious grossed $585,000 from 18 theaters for an exceptional per-screen average of $32,500. Friday’s figures are below, and check back here on Sunday for the complete box office report.

1. A Christmas Carol — $9.0 mil
2. The Fourth Kind — $5.0 mil
3. The Men Who Stare at Goats — $4.6 mil
4. Michael Jackson’s This Is It — $4.2 mil
5. The Box — $2.9 mil
5. Paranormal Activity — $2.9 mil

SHINee's Onew confimed with Swine Flu

The curse of the swine flu seems to have struck SHINee. Having only just reported hours earlier that Jonghyun had recovered fully from swine flu, it was reported now that SHINee's leader, Onew has also been hit by it.

The announcement came at around 6pm on 7th November as it was reported that Onew had developed a gentle, mild fever last night. He was sent to the hospital today and tests have shown that he has contracted swine flu.

Onew has been prescribed Tamiflu and is now back home resting.

The other three SHINee members, Key, Minho and Taemin were also tested for precaution, and neither of them have shown any symptoms of the illness fortunately.

So despite welcoming Jonghyun back from illness, SHINee will perform as a 4-member group in Onew's absence on the 8th November episode of Inkigayo.

Updates:

Super Junior's Eeteuk will replace Onew on Shinee's Ring Ding Dong stage.

Onew started showing symptoms yesterday afternoon and was sent to the hospital for a check up; he tested positive for swine flu this afternoon and is now currently resting at home

Eeteuk will make a sudden appearance on the second half of Shinee's Ring Ding Dong stage on SBS Inkigayo tomorrow to show support to his juniors. Jonghyun will also be back tomorrow to perform with the rest of the members.

In addition, Minho, Key and Taemin have gone for check ups as precautionary measure and have tested negative for swine flu.

'Fourth Kind' an alien intrusion in half-baked Alaska

How's this for a creepy coincidence: For the second time in a year, millions of Americans are going to be terrified by the sight of a pretty woman in Alaska. This time, though, it's totally different -- because we're talking about someone who can't get people to take her seriously, has problems with her kids and has a beef with a cop.

"The Fourth Kind" has a clever gimmick and nothing more. It opens with Milla Jovovich talking directly to the audience, explaining that she is "actress Milla Jovovich" and that we're about to see her and other performers re-create mysterious events that occurred in Nome, Alaska, in 2000. She promises to share actual archival footage and audio recording of the events, interspersed with the dramatizations.

All of this is straight-up bull calculated to get teens Googling around to figure out "what really happened." The similar "Paranormal Activity," which went with a full-on (instead of halfway) "Blair Witch" style, worked far more effectively. Yet "The Fourth Kind" does keep you off balance for a while and wins points for originality. There are split screens of the time-stamped "archival footage" (actually, ugly actors in poorly lit scenes with the grainy quality of surveillance video) next to the same scenes being performed by Jovovich and the other name actors.

She plays a shrink with two sullen kids trying to figure out what is causing her patients to shoot themselves, speak in ancient tongues and levitate. An angry cop (Will Patton) keeps rushing in threatening to arrest her (even when witnesses and other cops have seen that she doesn't do anything wrong). He offers helpful advice like, "You can't just stop being insane whenever you want. It's the kind of thing that stays with you." Thanks. But we already knew that from observing the persistently demented hatred that continues to chase the best-known Alaskan like an evil spirit.

The buildup is OK, and the movie may work for a while with credulous children, but the third act is where a horror flick has to make something happen. This one probably should have zigged into demonic possession (which would have been easier to swallow) instead of zagging into UFOs.

There's some chintzy "archival" images that mainly consist of visual static, lots of they-took-my-baby screaming and a chat with an alien kidnapper (caught on audiotape!) speaking ancient Sumerian. "Child . . . never . . . returned," he thunders, in Sumerian. The guy sounds like Animal on "The Muppet Show."

Apple said to be working on 'world-mode' iPhone

The new Verizon Droid, like many a high-profile smartphone just coming onto the market, has been hailed by some as a potential--you know what's coming--iPhone killer. (Chronicling the very first Droid sales in Manhattan the other day, CNET's Maggie Reardon observed that the gadget may actually turn out to be more of a BlackBerry killer.)

But does Verizon Wireless want to deliver a knockout to the iPhone? There's long been speculation that the carrier would sooner or later be offering the Apple smartphone, which since its launch has been solely in the hands of AT&T in the United States. (In some other countries, Apple has deals with multiple carriers.)

The latest posting to suggest an imminent rapprochement between Verizon and the iPhone comes from the AppleInsider blog, which on Friday said that it's gotten wind of Apple having contracted to build a Verizon iPhone that would debut in the third quarter of 2010.

More broadly, according to AppleInsider, the new "hybrid iPhone" will work on both the GSM/UMTS and the CDMA systems, meaning that Apple will be able "to sell a single global handset to all carriers, and specifically to Verizon Wireless in the US." In the U.S., carriers AT&T and T-Mobile are in the GSM/UMTS camp, while Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel are in the CDMA camp.

The "world-mode" phone reportedly would have a 2.8-inch screen--that is, roughly 20 percent smaller than the screen on the existing iPhone.

AppleInsider cites a report from the investment research firm OTR Global, which in turn cites "sources in the Taiwan handset supply chain." According to AppleInsider:

The report by OTR Global, provided to AppleInsider by an industry analyst, says the new "worldmode" iPhone will gain compatibility with CDMA2000 networks (including Verizon's US network, which is currently incompatible with existing iPhone models) while retaining compatibility with UMTS 3G networks globally using a new hybrid chip produced by Qualcomm.

According to OTR's sources, Asustek subsidiary Pegatron will build the new hybrid phone devices for Apple rather than Hon Hai, the iPhone's current manufacturer. This decision was reportedly made to prevent the company from being "constrained by a single-source assembler."

In the third quarter of 2009, Apple shipped 7.4 million iPhones worldwide, raising its global market share slightly to 17 percent, according to market researcher IDC.

Apple, Verizon, and OTR were not immediately available for comment.

Joe Jackson Demands a Piece of Michael

Look who's coming around after all.

Joe Jackson, who previously said that he spends most of his time in Las Vegas and that his estranged wife, Katherine, would handle the raising of Michael Jackson's children, is now petitioning the estate for his own monthly stipend.

Saying he has no steady source of income aside from $1,700 a month from Social Security, Jackson stated in court documents that he had relied on his son for support up until the King of Pop's death. Michael gave money to his mom, which she in turn, acting as an agreed-upon go-between, gave to Joe.

Michael did not provide for Joe in his will, rather splitting his estate among his mother, children and various charities.

But that doesn't mean the King of Pop's estate is legally prohibited from providing for Joe, his lawyers insist.

The administrators of Michael's estate were "either ignorant or negligent" by not apportioning an allowance for Joe, states the petition filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Meanwhile, a judge has approved $26,800 in monthly support for Katherine and $60,000 a month for the care of Michael's three kids.

Joe is 81 and, in addition to suffering a stroke in 1998, suffers from diabetes, ulcers and other ailments, according to his lawyers, and Michael, knowing his dad was in ill health, supported him for many years.

A list of the Jackson family patriarch's itemized expenses included $1,200 a month in rent for his Vegas home; $2,500 to eat out; $1,000 on entertainment, gifts and vacations; $2,000 on air travel and $3,000 on hotels.

Maybe figuring Joe will just have to eat in more often, a judge denied a request for an expedited hearing on the matter.

New version of 'Young and Dangerous' anticipated; Michelle Ye and Jordan Chan in Shanghai

Hong Kong's popular celebrities Michelle Ye and Jordan Chan are recently filming for Golden Horse award winning director Felix Chong and Alan Mak's new production, the new version of 'Yougn and Dangerous' movie 'Sand Blowing in the Wind'. Both leads were in Shanghai on the invitation of a Europe brand sportswear for a promotion event.

On the evening of the event, Michelle Ye and Jordan Chan arrived at the venue and immediately became the point of attention. Although the organizer has arranged tens of bodyguards, the atmosphere at the scene was still chaotic due to excited fans who were cheering their idols. After their performance that night, Michelle Ye and Jordan Chan were also invited onstage for the closing ceremony of the event, stirring quite a commotion at the scene.

When Jordan Chan was interviewed if his proposal was successful and when will he tie the knot with his girlfriend, Jordan expressed: My work has been scheduled until next year, the soonest is next year, I have to buy a house before getting married so I still need to work hard. Reporters turned attention to Michelle asking if she has plans on getting married, she laughed saying she is too busy and has no time to plan for her lifetime happiness, and does not even have a partner in relationship yet, however friends around her are very anxious to introduce partners to her, when Jordan immediately interrupted, "Don't find good looking ones, find an honest one!", causing Michelle to only smile bashfully.

No Droid For Me, iPhone Is The PC Of Smartphones

There is no piece of technological wizardry that I want so much as a Droid. Yet, I have decided to hold onto my iPhone. Why? Because the iPhone is the PC of smartphones.

I mean that in the good sense of what a PC represents, namely compatibility. Yes, Google's Android operating system may someday--probably will--become the standard for comparison among smartphones.

That time, however, is not here and may not arrive for several years. In the meantime, if I want just one smartphone, it will be an iPhone. The iPhone today represents compatibility and standards.

This is the opposite of the situation that Apple finds itself in with computers. In computing, a Mac comes close but is not, in the end, a real PC. Why? Because a Mac may be able to do 90 percent of what a PC can do, but that other 10 percent can be critical.

While I do most of my writing on my trusty MacBook Pro, there are still applications I use that are not available for Mac. Granted most of these are specialized apps, but they are important, even vital, to my various activities.

The applications used in my search-and-rescue and emergency management lives, just are not available for Macintosh. I wish they were, but the Mac is just too small a part of what is a small market to begin with.

Yes, I could use Apple's Boot Camp to turn my Mac into a PC. Or run a virtualized PC under Mac OS. But why? My current Macs are just a tad wimpy for such use, which also adds complexity, resulting in a computer that is harder to physically share with other users.

Therefore, I use a Mac for most of my personal work, including this blog, and a PC for applications that are not available natively for Mac. It is easy enough to grab the computer I need when I need it.

Less so with a smartphone. Sure, a Droid would be small enough to grab, but I do not need another phone number or another expensive monthly bill. The bill part really says it all since either an iPhone or Droid costs about $2,400 over the course of a two-year service agreement.

I really do like the Droid, just not enough to double my wireless expense. Especially, when I use iPhone apps that are simply not available for the Droid. Moreover, it will be a long time before Android offers the breadth and scope apps that iPhone offers.

Over time, there will be more Android apps that "beat" iPhone apps in features and functions. There will also be worthwhile apps that are only available for Android (and don't come from Google).

When that happens, I will reconsider my decision. That will, in any case, happen no later than a year from next June, when my AT&T contract ends.

In the meantime, I will be happy to have a phone that can do pretty much anything a smartphone can do. I will look longingly at a friend's new Droid, but I will be happy with my decision to saw with my iPhone.

P.S. I am also hearing that the Droid's shallow keyboard may not be such a good choice for people with big fingers, such as myself. Another reason to stay with my iPhone.

Motorola MILESTONE gets O2 Germany listing for €550

While the US goes DROID crazy after Friday’s launch of the Android 2.0 smartphone, O2 Germany are not far behind when it comes to the GSM version. The Motorola MILESTONE – as the DROID will be known outside the US – was spotted on the carrier’s site last week and officially announced on Monday; it’s now being listed on the O2 Germany site, priced at €549.99 ($816).

Interestingly, the MILESTONE comes with an 8GB microSD card, whereas the DROID on Verizon comes with a 16GB card; however we found that the class 2 microSD supplied with the CDMA handset proved too slow for judder-free high-resolution video playback. In the MILESTONE’s case, that 8GB card is preloaded with Western Europe mapping data for use with Motorola’s own MOTONAV turn-by-turn directions app, since Google Maps Navigation is currently US-only.

From what we can tell from the German-language site, the MILESTONE is available to order now; we’re not sure when it will ship, but earlier rumors suggested it would be on sale imminently.
