Lindsay Lohan

Now that doctors have reportedly concluded that Lindsay Lohan was misdiagnosed, the troubled actress is said to be seething mad at the court system.
According to TMZ.com, doctors at UCLA's Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Westwood evaluated Lohan and do not believe she has bipolar disorder or an addiction to methamphethamine. In addition, she was reportedly misdiagnosed as having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and given the prescription drug Adderall, which may have contributed to a string of manic side effects causing her unusual behavior.
Since she apparently doesn't have a problem, LiLo is looking for restitution for having been sentenced 90 days behind bars and three months in rehab for violating probation on a 2007 drunk driving charge. Due to overcrowding, the 24-year-old actress was granted early release from jail after two weeks and is currently serving her stint her rehab.
"Lindsay is fuming – she is really upset that the courts put her through all this," a source told Fox 411's Pop Tarts.

Another LG Windows Phone 7 device has appeared in the wild, only a few days after we saw the LG C900 for AT&T.
The new handset is the LG E900 – it doesn’t have a QWERTY keyboard, like the C900, but it looks better overall.
The handset’s features have not been disclosed, but we do know that the display is a WVGA one (this xml file found at LG’s website says so). There’s also a photo camera with flash on the back of the device.
It’s said that the E900 will be launched in Europe, so we could see it hitting the shelves sometime in October. Until then, enjoy the blurry (and silent) video below, which shows Windows Phone 7 running smoothly on the unannounced LG smartphone:

Man, you just can't hide your gadgets from curious onlookers these days. Case in point: Samsung's Galaxy Tab was innocently doing some testing rounds through Sydney recently, only to be happened upon by the Electronista scribes, who diligently videotaped it -- seemingly without the knowledge of the tablet's possessor. The video confirms what we already know, it's a 7-inch tablet, it'll be driven by an Android, and it looks very much like a giant cellphone. The Samsung employee described it as "awesome" and very different from the iPad's experience, while the UI apparently looked very responsive. Go after the break to see for yourself.

The boys of Big Bang are scheduled to release their newest Japanese EP titled Beautiful Hangover very soon. The EP contains two tracks, the first is Beautiful Hangover, which most of you already heard and the second track is Somebody to Luv. Last week, a short preview for Somebody to Luv was used to tease fans and now the full track has been released.
T.O.P. and G-Dragon actually have parts where they speak in Japanese in this track, it’s not strictly English for them. The track is very catchy and I actually prefer it over Beautiful Hangover. Check it out below and remember to support the boys by purchasing the music.

Technically speaking, we already know what Toshiba's Smart Pad will look like. It was waved around in Australia briefly, and these shots seem to match it perfectly, but corroboration for their validity is otherwise light on the ground. Should you opt to trust them, after the break you'll find visual confirmation for the HDMI and USB ports already promised by Toshiba, along with a memory card reader and a pleasingly slender profile. The four touch buttons on its right side just scream Android as the operating system, and the whole thing again reminds us of the Compal tablet we saw back at CES and subsequently accused of being a Toshiba-in-waiting. Notebook Italia expects this bad boy to step out of the shadows properly at IFA this year, and we already know Toshiba is cranking hard on bringing us a tablet of some description by the end of October. Fun times ahead, eh?

Sure, the Samsung Vibrant's a T-Mobile device and the Samsung Captivate belongs to AT&T, but there's no longer any reason you can't swap them around -- all you need is a simple script and a USB cable to completely unlock your phone. Dagentooboy of XDA-Developers discovered that Galaxy S unlock codes aren't kept in a secure remote server, but merely stored in a .BAK file on the device itself, which you find with a hex editor and key right in when inserting a new SIM card of your choice. We tested it out on both Vibrant and Captivate and were up and running in less than five minutes each time, and wonder of wonders, the Vibrant gave us a 3G data connection (with 2Mbps down) using an AT&T SIM. Sadly, we can't say the inverse for the Captivate, which pulled down standard EDGE speeds on T-Mobile, but this is already far more than the hacking community could have hoped for. The best part? None of this requires you to actually root the phone, and if you're worried about warranty you can re-lock the handset with the very same code.

Thought the page-turning Macallan was nifty? You ain't seen nothing yet -- The Astonishing Tribe (the brains behind the look of Android) aims to give you billowing, rippling cloth-like curtains of clever interactive content with their concept Velvet UI. Pull out a widget or Google Maps query, and a sheet of your desired result waves with the virtual wind, before stretching out flat for you to more comfortably interact with. Running on MeeGo (and apparently possible on Android) it's built with the company's proprietary UI framework, so don't expect it to hit tablets anytime soon unless someone throws them some bucks. Also see: TAT's other impressive concepts. Video after the break.
With Nicholas Tse, Charlene Choi and Kenny Kwan filming their Mainland series "Sword Heroes' Fate" in Shandong, the day before yesterday, Cecilia followed Nicholas to Shandong, bringing along 10 containers of healthy herbs and roots to make soup. Arriving in Shandong yesterday, in the short span of half an hour, Cecilia cooked food from all over the world to reward Nicholas Tse, along with Charlene Choi and Kenny Kwan present for filming. Before starting dinner, Ah Sa uploaded a photo of the food on Weibo, including curry, pasta, soup, beef brisket, and so forth. In addition to a self-taken photo of Charlene and Cecilia, there were additional photos of Nicholas embracing his wife.
Ah Sa left a message praising: "Wah .. there's delicious food!! Sister-in-law's big meal she cooked .. only taking half an hour .. she cooked Chinese .. French .. Indian .. Italian dishes .. she really is a great wife." Nicholas' assistant 'cousin' also left a message before the meal saying: "Look at how plentiful today is, because there is a Hong Kong chef (Cecilia) who cooked for us to eat. Even money can't invite, only Nicholas Tse can!"

Whoa, now we're talking. It's short, sweet, and dramatic, yet the official Samsung Galaxy Tab teaser video still manages to reveal a number of features previously only rumored. We've got Android 2.2 running on a 7-inch display, video calling, Swype, HD movie playback, "Flash support," GPS navigation, an e-reader, and plenty more. Now get ready to be teased mercilessly by the video embedded after the break -- it's as close as you'll get before the official reveal in Berlin (at IFA) on September 2nd. Yeah, we'll be there.

British songbird Cheryl Cole is the latest sexy siren being courted for a scantily-clad Playboy Magazine centerfold by bosses at the House That Hef Built.
The Girls Aloud frontwoman has posed for some very raunchy shots for her Official 2011 Calendar and could net $1 million if she’s prepared to strip naked for the iconic men’s mag. However, Cheryl’s pals insist the clean-cut beauty would never take off her clothes for Playboy Magazine.
“She’s always been fundamentally opposed to going nude in magazines,” a source tells the Daily Star. “Cheryl has a fortune of £10 million. It’s not like she needs the money.”

Bigger Than the Sound wonders: Does Perry's latest mark the death of the album?
Conventional wisdom these days seems to hold that the album is dead, singles are the lifeblood of the music industry, and people prefer their music as bite-size chunks, in whatever bit rate available and on their phones whenever possible. This is conventional wisdom, of course, because it is probably true. Just look at the carnage on the Billboard albums chart for proof. It would seem that nobody buys albums anymore (unless they have Eminem's name on them) and that we're all just a few short years away from the complete extinction of the medium. That is not as farfetched as it might seem. In fact, it's basically a certainty at this point.
Still, perhaps you continue to believe in the power of the long-player, in the majesty of the deep cut. Perhaps you are holding out hope for the return of the 80-minute magnum opus or the darkened-room, double-disc experience. Who's to say you are wrong? Well, I am. And so is Katy Perry. Because next Tuesday, she'll release Teenage Dream, 44 minutes of shimmering, pitch-perfect pop music that may very well signify the end of the album as we know it.
