As JJ Lin begins to kick off his World Tour 2010 in Beijing tomorrow, the full version of his tour's theme “I Am” has recently started streaming online. The powerful track, which was shot with a sunlight-infused black-and-white look, marks the latest musical material since his December 2009 album “100 Days”.
For the shoot of his “I Am” MV, half of ton of sand was shipped in to emulate a desert environment. In one scene, the MV director had JJ immersed up to his neck in sand. As the crew was piling sand onto JJ, sand kept blowing into JJ’s eyes and mouth, so crew members had mineral water and eye drops on standby to aid JJ in case he had sand trouble.
Does the almost Pre-esque shape of this beast look vaguely familiar? It should, because it matches up nicely with the outline of the Samsung Cetus we saw in the FCC a little while back. Indeed, we're told this is the Cetus i917 destined for AT&T, featuring Windows Phone 7 in a glossy, black, curved shell that should fit nicely in those new skinny pants you just overpaid for. We don't know when this is hitting exactly, but we suspect everyone involved -- Microsoft, AT&T, and Samsung -- wants to have this on shelves in time for the holiday season. Hit up the gallery below for a couple more shots.

These shots of a real, live G2 confirm what we'd already suspected from renders: this is basically an Americanized version of the upcoming HTC Vision. What does that mean? Well, it means you can expect a 3.7-inch display paired with Android and a sliding QWERTY keyboard -- higher-end than the myTouch 3G Slide and a fitting successor to the trailblazing G1, if you ask us (though admittedly not quite as geeky as the model it replaces). Follow the break for another shot!

There's brave talk, there's foolish talk, and then there's the 5nm line that separates the two. While LG's Chang Ma didn't seem to be dabbling in either during yesterday's Wall Street Journal interview, some subsequent revelations from the financial paper do quote him straying into daring new territory. Having already described the upcoming Optimus tablet as something that will surprise us with its productivity and focus on content creation, LG's Marketing VP (we know, not exactly the CEO) has apparently gone the full way and straight up claimed that "our tablet will be better than the iPad." We'll let you judge on which side of the brave/foolish divide that falls, but it's certainly an indication of searing ambition on LG's part, and should, together with the promise that the US will be "a key market" for the tablet, make pleasant reading for Android slate aficionados.

It is revealed that the earliest they will have their comeback in Korea is in October. They are set to released their 2nd album 2 years after their last album released in November 2008 with title song ‘Sunset Glow’.
YG Entertainment told MTStarNews on 20th August, “Big Bang will be releasing their new album coming October~November. We are looking at a full length album release.”
The YG rep also added, “Until now Big Bang member GDragon has participated in a way or another in the production of their albums. But for this Korean album, all the songs are produced by GDragon. This is the reason why it took so long to release this album.”

Christmas came early at Engadget HQ this year, as evidenced by the picture above -- you're looking at two Dell Thunder prototype smartphones, each with some surprising quirks, and hints that they might include global HSPA, AWS for the likes of T-Mobile, and maybe even a dash of CDMA support. We'll warn you ahead of time that these are labeled EVT1 for "engineering verification test" and date back to the April leak, so they're about as early as you can get -- don't expect the final handset to arrive without some significant differences. Good? Then peek the gallery below, hit the break, and let's get on with the show.
We've learned from a source close to the situation that the rumored global version of the Droid 2 with GSM and CDMA radios is actually the same phone as the also-rumored Droid Pro -- although Verizon apparently has a tendency to fiddle with branding right up until the last minute, so the retail name could still change. It's identical to the current Droid 2 in every way except for the fact that it houses a GSM / HSPA radio for global roaming, though we're not able to confirm previous rumors that it'll be available in a white version; presumably, you'll pay a bit more than the Droid 2's $200 on contract for the privilege of being able to take your buddy overseas. Barring any last-minute delays, we should see it launch within weeks.
If you're sick and tired of Motorolas, let's switch gears a bit and talk about the follow-up to LG's enV Touch. Interestingly, LG will be switching from a proprietary featurephone platform to Android for this one -- called the enV Touch 2 -- and will give it dual touchscreens: one on the outside, and another on the inside for when you flip open the clamshell. As you might expect for an enV-branded device, there's also a full QWERTY keyboard. It's currently running Android 2.1, though it's not clear whether that'll be upgraded to 2.2 by the time we see a release toward the holidays. It's said to be pretty big and heavy, which could be a disadvantage for some -- but on the flipside, it's apparently a global device, so that's a plus. enVs historically haven't been the most exciting things in Verizon's stable, but we'll admit, we're curious to see this one get fleshed out.

Jolin Tsai is back with her third music video, “Nothing Left To Say” (無言以對). For the MV, Jolin tries out a new style by wearing a long skirt that keeps her covered from the waist down. She giggles, “Maybe after going to my (older) sister’s wedding, I fell in love with long skirts, so that’s why I decided to try it out for this MV. I think it’s quite pretty.” However, Jolin never disappoints as she wears a top that doesn't quite cover the top nor the bottom.
From her photo album shoot to her last MV, “Love’s Pupil”, Jolin could not escape the fate of being soaked in water. Even the staff jokes and says to jolin that her album will definitely sell well with the touch of water. In “Nothing Left To Say”, she leans beside a tub full of water and expresses her emotions not by voguing, but by fiercely splashing water.

The 9 ladies of SNSD have a busy schedule in the coming days, starting off fresh with 3 different showcases in one day, and that in itself is crazy! However, fans have also been anxiously awaiting news on their Japanese music.
Wait no longer, Universal Music Japan recently uploaded the music video teaser for Tell Me Your Wish (Genie), and the setting has definitely changed from their ever so popular military outfits to a carnival-like theme.
SM Entertainment also made use of flow-mo technology once again, as seen in music videos for BoA and SHINee, making the visual effects more enticing.
Check out the 33 seconds of pure eye candy below, and stay tuned for the full release.

Fahrenheit is feeling the summer heat and they’re cooling themselves by stripping down to their tank tops in a land of icebergs. This badly photoshopped picture is the cover for their upcoming album, “Too Hot”, which will be available for pre-order starting on September 1st.
To display their Fahrenheit icy-hotness, each member has been working out to tone their muscles before the photo shoot. Calvin Chen says that he has quit his habit of eating midnight snacks and does sit-ups and push-ups on a regular basis. Jiro Wang reveals that he works out and swims. Aaron Yan has been jogging for 30 minutes and doing weights every day. Wu Chun, who is already buff enough, has gotten a tan instead.
As we've told you, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been shacking up together in Rob's rented five-bedroom, five-bath home (that Stewart helped pick out) whenever the two are in Los Angeles. And that's apparently straight where they went after they landed at LAX Tuesday!
Here are some peeks of the gated abode with a guest house, and no we did not take them. (They were on the original listing from earlier this summer.)
The listing boasted how perfect the "one kind of hideaway" is for those desiring "privacy and serenity," but unfortunately, that's not exactly the case...

An Australian seller of Wii, PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 modchips has posted video showing the famously impregnable PlayStation 3 running "back-up" copies of disc games saved in the hacked console. It's the real deal, they tell Kotaku.
OzModChips.com has posted three videos to YouTube showing the alleged hack, marketed as PS Jailbreak, which purportedly is executed by plugging a $170 (Australian) USB stick into the PlayStation 3. The legality of console modchips differ by region. They are not legal in the U.S.
Such a hack would enable PS3 users to run back-up copies of games, homebrew and, of course, pirated games, something which Sony has long successfully blocked on its home console.

Samsung Vibrant

Yesterday, T-Mobile had a one-day sale on the Samsung Vibrant; pricing the unit at $100-off the usual $199 for 2-year contract signers. Today, AmazonWireless has the device for one shiny penny. The terms of the deal look like this:
When you purchase your device with service from AmazonWireless.com, we automatically pass along an instant discount from the carrier to you. This discount has been provided to you based on your agreement to (a) activate a new, or extend an existing, line of service for this device with the carrier, and (b) maintain this service in good standing for a minimum of 181 consecutive days. If you do not activate or extend a line of service in connection with this device, or if your service is canceled/disconnected before 181 consecutive days, AmazonWireless.com will charge you $250 per device, plus applicable taxes.
So, if you were on the fence about $199, and still on the fence about $99, how do you feel about $0.01?

So Nyeo Shi Dae SooYoung has transformed to become lookalike to Kang HyeJung.
Recently, photos of SooYoung during an event that So Nyeo Shi Dae attended posted online have been the hot topic amongst netizens. So Nyeo Shi Dae was doing a fanmeeting in KoEX Mega Box and the photo revealed showed SooYoung onstage with short haircut and her face looking more puffy than usual.
Netizens then compared the photos to photos with SooYoung’s previous features and many commented, “Seems like she had botox injection or something.”
Meanwhile, So Nyeo Shi Dae will have their Japanese debut in September.
Now that RIM has introduced the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and the Curve 3G 9300, it’s probably about time for a refresh of the Bold series.
Meet the BlackBerry Bold R020 – the R020 part is so unlike RIM that I’m thinking the final and official name can’t be this one. Anyway. Those hoping for the new Bold to bring many novelties will probably be disappointed, because there isn’t much that’s changed.
The BlackBerry Bold R020 looks just like the 9700, but it will, of course, run BlackBerry 6 (not that the 9700 won’t be updated to the new OS, too). It will also have a 5MP autofocus camera, and more RAM (512MB), the rest of its features being identical to the features of the old Bold.

Intel announced Wednesday that it plans to buy security company McAfee for approximately $7.68 billion.
The chipmaker says it has entered into a definitive agreement to buy all of McAfee's common stock at $48 per share in cash. The boards of both companies have approved the deal. Security has become an essential element of online computing, on par with energy-efficient performance and connectivity, Intel said.
"With the rapid expansion of growth across a vast array of Internet-connected devices, more and more of the elements of our lives have moved online," said Intel CEO Paul Otellini in a statement . "In the past, energy-efficient performance and connectivity have defined computing requirements. Looking forward, security will join those as a third pillar of what people demand from all computing experiences.yst at Independent Security Evaluators who disclosed the hole at the security conference.
