Fresh off the heels of the release of Safari 5, Norwegian software company Opera is today launching version 10.60 of its desktop browser. And yes, they promise it’s faster. Much faster. Like ’50% faster than its predecessor on selected JavaScript tests’ faster.
Opera 10.60 (beta) also boasts a fresh UI, geolocation support and WebM support for HTML5 video, so it isn’t all about the need for speed. Although the company does place a lot of emphasis on the notion that it’s supposed to be lightning fast.
Which calls for some high-level speed testing, if anyone is up for it.

Having released their first mini album earlier, Pledis Entertainment has now released the MV for Orange Caramel’s title track, Magic Girl and it features a surprise cameo by CNBlue’s Minhyuk in his stage outfit.
With a Candy Culture concept, the After School members of Raina, Nana and Lizzy have certainly pulled off the image excellently. With a super bubbly tune which sounds like it was made for an anime or J-Pop, they certainly look outright cute.
Robert Pattinson seemed to handle it OK when Emma Roberts revealed on The Tonight Show that she's on Team Jacob.
Team Edward, however, had a much harder time with it.

Oh, dear. Those crazy iPhone fans really did go mental pre-orders, because Apple has pushed back the ship by date for the iPhone 4 for the second time in under 18 hours. Instead of a ship by date of July 2nd, all orders placed from this point on are not scheduled to ship until the 14th of July. That’s 20 days after launch. If Apple sold 600,000 iPhones yesterday alone, we cannot wait to see what the final day one figure turns out to be when all is said and done.

Popular boy group SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong and TVXQ leader U-Know Yunho were recently featured in High Cut magazine. In the picture above, Kim Hyun Joong is sporting an elegant black suit and wearing a Pasha Seatimer watch from Cartier on his left hand, which sells for roughly 5,177,025 won ($4275 USD).
Although Yunho has a very busy schedule, he took time off to snap some shots for the magazine while wearing fashionable Maison sunglasses and aiming for a simple, yet sexy look. He tops it off with a Ballon Bleu Cartier watch on his left wrist which goes for about 10,142,125 won ($8375 USD).

We've known what's new in iTunes 9.2 for a while, but now the update is finally officially available for download. It basically prepares you for iPhone 4 and iOS 4 while bringing some bug fixes and PDF support.
As a review, here's what Apple says is new in this update:
* Sync with iPhone 4 to enjoy your favorite music, movies, TV shows, books and more on-the-go
* Sync and read books with iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4 and iBooks 1.1
* Organize and sync PDF documents as books. Read PDFs with iBooks 1.1 on iPad and any iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4
* Organize your apps on your iOS 4 home screens into folders using iTunes
* Faster back-ups while syncing an iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4
* Album artwork improvements make artwork appear more quickly when exploring your library

Look, Nokia, don't sweat it: no one could've ever predicted that Android would get more awesome, or that Apple would announce another iPhone. Sit down, let us bring you a cup of hot chocolate, you'll feel better... goodness, the mobile industry is filled with more wild plot twists than a Univision telenovela, isn't it? Unfortunately, your shareholders might be a little less understanding of the fact that you still haven't wrapped your noodle around the rapidly-changing smartphone market some three and a half years after the introduction of the original iPhone, or that you're blaming "shifts in product mix towards somewhat lower gross margin products" in part for your forecast downgrade -- even though you've been very candid about your desire to move the company's focus toward emerging markets. Why you can't manage to cobble together a competitive operating system with your overwhelming market share, cash, and resources is a bit of a mystery, but maybe it'll all make sense by the time you release second-quarter earnings on July 22.

Beware when Ke$ha comes baring gifts. The “Tik Tok” star has unveiled a new “wacky” fact about herself in the hope of making it into the papers: She gives other people shit. Nope, we’re not talking about the sing-along singles she passes off as actually quality music. The grungy partygirl has confessed to giving people dog poo as gifts.
Ke$ha admits she has a vengeful side and is not afraid to let people know when they have wronged her.

It's a color we know so well, but it looks like Microsoft would like to dissociate itself from its RROD heritage, or perhaps just ran out of red LEDs: the new Xbox 360 only has a green ring around its power button, so even if you wrap the thing in a blanket and set it on fire, it won't be flashing red to tell you how it feels. This was unearthed in a spec sheet that Joystiq received from a tipster, along with all the other fancy specs you can see above. Overall the console is 17% smaller, which really goes to show that Microsoft was much more interested in noise and heat reduction than sliding the new 360 into a smaller crevice of your home entertainment center.

June must be the month when privacy issues leave their hibernation and return to trouble our fragile minds. First we had Flash going loco, then AT&T's airwaves exploded with iPad users' email addresses, iPhone 4 pre-orders started sending people to the wrong account, and now this. Boy Genius Report has come across a rather worrying "feature" of the HTC Sense bookmarking widget on the Incredible, which takes sporadic screenshots of your browsing sessions. That wouldn't be so bothersome in itself, but try to remove said pictures, and you find where the problem lies. Ending the browsing session, deleting your history, and even a full reset to factory settings failed to eviscerate the indiscreet imagery. You have to manually discover their location and delete them by hand. Considering the high likelihood of Incredibles being sold and resold for years to come, this could turn the phone into a little cache of treasure for the proactive identity thief. And since it's a Sense issue, it might be affecting other HTC handsets as well. Wunderbar.

UK carrier Orange has already confirmed that it'll be joining in on the iPhone 4 party on June 24th, and it's just now revealed exactly how much the phone will cost you depending on the service you choose. As with the 3GS, the iPhone 4 is available on both monthly or pay-as-you-go plans, and actually starts as low as free for a 16GB iPhone 4 on the highest monthly plan (£75 per month) and goes all the way up to £570 (or $845) for an off-contract 32GB iPhone 4 on a pay-as-you-go plan. There's literally no less than twenty different price points in all, however, so be sure to hit up the source link below to see exactly what's available before you go line up.
