Tom Cruise looks happier than ever as he poses with leading ladies Cameron Diaz and Katie Holmes at Knight And Day world premiere

They say variety is the spice of life.

So it's no wonder Tom Cruise looked like the cat that got the cream as he posed at the world premiere of his new film Knight And Day in Seville, Spain, with both his blonde co-star Cameron Diaz and brunette wife Katie Holmes last night.

Both stars looked stunning in their outfits - with Diaz opting for a ruched black one-shouldered dress, and Holmes going for the innocent look in a white dress with tiered skirt and gladiator heels

Cruise, who was dressed more casually in dark jeans, a white shirt and a blazer, grinned broadly as he posed first with Katie and then inside with Diaz.

New Miley Cyrus Tattoo ["Love" On Ear]

She’s only 17, but America’s Most Famous Teenager already has two tattoos — and those are only the ones we can see. That Miley Cyrus sure is growing up fast!

Last year, the Hannah Montana star had the words “Just Breathe” inked on her rib cage in tribute to a friend who died of cystic fibrosis. Now Miles’ gone for something far more visible – the word “LOVE” etched on her ear.

50% Of Android Phones Now Running OS 2.1

Every few weeks, Google’s Android team updates their Platform Versions page that breaks down how many Android devices are running each version of the OS, based on data from the official Android Market. Today’s it’s reached a big milestone: exactly 50% of Android phones are running 2.1, the latest officially released version of Android (2.2, or Froyo, went live for a small number of users last month, but has not officially been deployed on a wide scale).

This is a big change since early May, when only 32.4% of phones were running 2.1. Since then, a number of older phones have been upgraded, and the new Sprint Evo and some other newer devices run it as well.

Still Really Want An iPhone 4? Find $5,000, Head To eBay

As you may have heard, Apple completely blew through its pre-order launch day iPhone 4s in less than a day (and that was despite major technical issues with the ordering process). It has now blown through the second wave (due in early July) as well. The current shipping estimate if you order right now is July 14. Ugh. But if you absolutely want one at or around launch day, the Internet, as always, provides an option.

Scanning eBay right now, there are roughly 400 iPhone 4s for sale (between the 16 GB and 32 GB models). Sure, the device isn’t out yet, but people are willing to part with the device as soon as they get it on June 24. The question is: how much do you have to pay to get them to part with it? Currently, the cheapest ones are going for $550 — and that’s the $199 16 GB model. The cheapest 32 GB model? $799 — a full $500 over the $299 retail price.

Both of those are bargains compared to what some people are selling them for. Want the iPhone 4 hand delivered to you by June 27? That will cost you $5,000. Yes, $5,000 for one iPhone. At least 50 other people are offering to sell theirs for $1,000 or more.

And this is just two days after the initial pre-sale. As the expected ship date continues to get pushed back, these prices are going to get much more ugly. By the time launch day hits and people have them in their hands, don’t be surprised if many of these new iPhones sell for thousands of dollars.

Jolin Tsai says she's "not crazy yet" on getting back together with Jay Chou

Of course we can’t go on another day without more updates and reactions on the front-page worthy Double J reunion. As a real life reunion looking increasingly possible, Jolin Tsai took matters into her own hands and answered everyone's question on her blog, “I’m not crazy yet! I’m only crazy about performing!”

The much talked about event has been heavily scrutinized by fans and the media. Many fans who attended the first two nights of Jay Chou's concert are complaining that they missed out on the big “show”. Meanwhile, the media suspects it was a publicity stunt, as well as a move to save Jay Chou’s image after the Monkey-girl scandal. The singer and his company denied such claims and said they have no intention of exploiting Jolin Tsai.

Angela Chang to replace Ariel Lin in Extravagant Challenge?!

Three years ago, Ariel Lin accepted the female lead role to GTV’s upcoming drama “Extravagant Challenge,” based on the highly popular manga, Skip Beat!. But due to some high-level changes that went on with their Japanese partner, the script not only had to be reworked, the male lead also changed from Jerry Yan to Wu Chun, and most recently, rumored to be Super Junior’s Dong Hae and Siwon. Despite all that was happening, Ariel was still confirmed for the drama, but recent rumors surfaced that Angela Chang is also interested in taking the female lead role for the drama.

Ariel’s debut drama, “True Love 18,” and her most recognized drama, “It Started With A Kiss,” are both from GTV. Ariel and GTV have always worked closely, and she even won the Golden Bell’s best actress award for “They Kiss Again.” Just days ago, Ariel has been confirmed to film the Taiwan version of “Coffee Prince.” Due to this, GTV worries that there will be “too much Ariel Lin”, as well as scheduling conflicts (if she films both dramas). Thus, some staff members suggested Angela Chang for the role instead, who has also done quite well in drama ratings.

Whether you're a Robsten lover or a Nonsten hater there is a tabloid for you this week.

US Weekly has Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on the cover saying how Rob is "obsessed" with her and ready to pop the question after living together this summer. Meanwhile, Life & Style claims Rob dumped her earlier this year because Stewart is "such a downer" and the "magic has drained" from their relationship.

Let us clear a few things up for you, starting with, yes Rob and Kristen have been shacking up:

Opera 10.60 Beta Lands, Brings More Speed, Geolocation And WebM Support

Fresh off the heels of the release of Safari 5, Norwegian software company Opera is today launching version 10.60 of its desktop browser. And yes, they promise it’s faster. Much faster. Like ’50% faster than its predecessor on selected JavaScript tests’ faster.

Opera 10.60 (beta) also boasts a fresh UI, geolocation support and WebM support for HTML5 video, so it isn’t all about the need for speed. Although the company does place a lot of emphasis on the notion that it’s supposed to be lightning fast.

Which calls for some high-level speed testing, if anyone is up for it.

Why I’m *Not* a Fanboy

What makes TechCrunch a property that attracts some 10 million unique users a month is diversity. We cover tech single-mindedly but from a lot of different perspectives. So it’s from that stance that I’m writing this post.

I have a confession to make: With all due respect to my colleague Mr. Siegler—who I should say writes more posts, drives more page views and hence creates way more value for this site than I do—I am not a fanboy.

I have no problem championing a business – even an unsexy or unpopular one. When I was at BusinessWeek I was one of the first people to write about a lot of Silicon Valley companies like Facebook, Yelp, and Digg, and over the last two years I’ve written here about even more unknown companies from around the world that I think have a shot at building something big and making the world a better place. That’s what I love about my job, and why I’ve done it for more than ten years.

But that’s not being a fanboy. I just can’t get excited about a stunning product if it doesn’t solve a core problem or make some sort of business sense. Product for sheer product sake is writing about technology in a vacuum.

Orange Caramel releases Magic Girl MV

Having released their first mini album earlier, Pledis Entertainment has now released the MV for Orange Caramel’s title track, Magic Girl and it features a surprise cameo by CNBlue’s Minhyuk in his stage outfit.

With a Candy Culture concept, the After School members of Raina, Nana and Lizzy have certainly pulled off the image excellently. With a super bubbly tune which sounds like it was made for an anime or J-Pop, they certainly look outright cute.

New Miley Cyrus Single: What Do You Think?

Yesterday, Miley Cyrus told us that she isn't trying to dress "slutty" and that she wants people to buy her album "because of my music."

Okay then. Let's take Miley up on this premise.

The next single she'll release off "Can't Be Tamed" is titled "Liberty Walk" and it encourages listeners to "say goodbye to the people that tied you up."

Its aim is to be an inspiring anthem, telling people "all that really matters are the steps you take." Listen below and then sound off...

Emma Roberts Run Off Twitter After Team Jacob Reveal

Robert Pattinson seemed to handle it OK when Emma Roberts revealed on The Tonight Show that she's on Team Jacob.

Team Edward, however, had a much harder time with it.

Google working to refine Android’s UI

Google’s Android team has been pushing new versions of the operating system at a furious pace since the first Android device hit the market in 2008. Lots of features have been added over the last couple of years. But the user experience hasn’t evolved much.

That’s all going to change in the next version, we’ve heard from multiple sources close to Google.

The team more or less has the core features they want at this point, say our sources, although more tweaks are certainly coming. But Google wants to put an end to the desire of handset manufacturers and carriers to add their own UI layer on top of Google – things like Sense, Motoblur, Ninjablur, etc.

Most of the time their shells aren’t all that great anyway (see HTC EVO), and they tend to slow down the device.

iPhone 4 shipments get pushed back again, now shipping by July 14th

Oh, dear. Those crazy iPhone fans really did go mental pre-orders, because Apple has pushed back the ship by date for the iPhone 4 for the second time in under 18 hours. Instead of a ship by date of July 2nd, all orders placed from this point on are not scheduled to ship until the 14th of July. That’s 20 days after launch. If Apple sold 600,000 iPhones yesterday alone, we cannot wait to see what the final day one figure turns out to be when all is said and done.

Ming Dao and Cheryl Yang return with new looks for their next drama

As reported earlier, Ming Dao will soon be making his return on SETTV in the new idol drama Zhong Wu Yen (鍾無艷). The actor has been hitting the gym and even dying his hair blond in preparation for his new role.

It’s too early to say how the new and improved Ming Dao will fair, but the production team thought his new ‘do was a little on the ugly side. Much to their surprise, SETTV’s Vice GM Su Li-Mei (蘇麗媚) thinks it is just perfect, “I love his hair to death! His character is really hateable, and low level!” She plans to get him highlights in red or silver for extra sleaziness…

As for the leading lady, Cheryl Yang won’t be reprising her glamorous image in My Queen. It’s only fitting that the title character Zhong Wu Yen would wear little to no make up, along with a huge birthmark on her face. At a recent reading, Ming Dao chatted with his new costar as they tried to get familiar with each other. It will be his second time working with Cheryl Yang after Angel Lover in 2006.

Hoping to leave a stronger impression this time, the boys have ditched their boy image for a more masculine one. Did they manage to make the transformation? The boys will have their first comeback stage on June 18th through Music Bank.

Gillian Chung denies dating William Chan

EEG's new film, " The Ex" 's main cast Ah Gil, William and Michelle Wai attended an event by UA to thank the public for the ticket sales. William and Michelle acted as ticket sellers on the spot selling tickets to the public. Recently, an anonymous person went to newspapers claiming that William had chased after Gillian Chung, Charlene Choi, Stephanie Cheng, and GEM, and has been together with Ah Gil for many months.

William responded to this matter, " All of the female characters in the letter have filmed with me before. I was never with Ah Gil, and never went after Ah Sa, bring out the proofs if you have, otherwise do not make up stories anymore." (Try to avoid?) "I am avoiding all these rumours all these while, I work when it's time for work, but all these would not affect our friendship."

Ah Gil also said, " Is this just playing a fool? Dating for over a month? Our filming did not even take up a month. (No sparks?) "Impossible, he is not my cup of tea, he also don't dare to chase after me, he treats me like a senior, he's scared of me." ( He used SMS to chase after Ah Sa?) "Then did they say he chased after Vivian Chow? There's no such thing, he doesn't reply SMS too!"

Nokia downgrades sales forecasts thanks to 'competitive environment' (aka, 'doing business')

Look, Nokia, don't sweat it: no one could've ever predicted that Android would get more awesome, or that Apple would announce another iPhone. Sit down, let us bring you a cup of hot chocolate, you'll feel better... goodness, the mobile industry is filled with more wild plot twists than a Univision telenovela, isn't it? Unfortunately, your shareholders might be a little less understanding of the fact that you still haven't wrapped your noodle around the rapidly-changing smartphone market some three and a half years after the introduction of the original iPhone, or that you're blaming "shifts in product mix towards somewhat lower gross margin products" in part for your forecast downgrade -- even though you've been very candid about your desire to move the company's focus toward emerging markets. Why you can't manage to cobble together a competitive operating system with your overwhelming market share, cash, and resources is a bit of a mystery, but maybe it'll all make sense by the time you release second-quarter earnings on July 22.

Miley Cyrus Calls Perez Hilton Idiot

Perez Hilton recently posted a picture of the 17 year old Miley Cyrus on his Twitter that has caused a great deal of controversy around the blogosphere. That is because the picture showed Cyrus hopping out of a car, wearing a dress without any panties on, and her private parts exposed. We have become used to the sight, as a number of stars have been caught in a similar position in recent years, but the fact that she is only 17 years old is causing quite a stir.

A number of individuals have stated that they believe that the picture constitutes as child pornography, and that Perez Hilton should be charged with something in the wake of the controversy. Others have said that it was an honest mistake and that they should leave Perez Hilton alone.

Ke$ha admits she has a vengeful side and is not afraid to let people know when they have wronged her.

Megan Fox Is Engaged Again! She Lost Engagement Ring!

Maybe the second time's the charm.

Megan Fox and on-again beau Brian Austin Green are engaged to be married – again.

"Yes, she is engaged," a rep for the actress, whose action film Jonah Hex opens on Friday, tells PEOPLE.

Fox, 24, and Green, 36, who met in 2004, initially got engaged in November 2006, only to call it off in February 2009. At the time, a source said the decision to was "mutual."

Despite their split, the two were regularly spotted together – and now they are prepared to walk down the aisle.

In 2009, before they called off their first engagement, Green told PEOPLE about his ideal wedding: "[The ceremony will be] small ... Originally we were talking elopement and now we might have a few people there."

New Xbox 360 loses ability to flash a red ring, can still probably die a fiery death

It's a color we know so well, but it looks like Microsoft would like to dissociate itself from its RROD heritage, or perhaps just ran out of red LEDs: the new Xbox 360 only has a green ring around its power button, so even if you wrap the thing in a blanket and set it on fire, it won't be flashing red to tell you how it feels. This was unearthed in a spec sheet that Joystiq received from a tipster, along with all the other fancy specs you can see above. Overall the console is 17% smaller, which really goes to show that Microsoft was much more interested in noise and heat reduction than sliding the new 360 into a smaller crevice of your home entertainment center.

More than 600,000 iPhone 4 units pre-ordered. AT&T pre-orders are temporarily suspended

The first iPhone 4 pre-order day was pretty much a fiasco in the US, with lots of problems plaguing the pre-ordering procedure.

Still, Apple seems to be pretty happy about the whole thing, as it has just announced that more than 600,000 new iPhones were pre-ordered (not only in the US, but also in the UK, France and Germany), representing “the largest number of pre-orders Apple has ever taken in a single day.”

Apple apologized for the malfunctions appeared yesterday, hoping that frustrated customers who didn’t manage to pre-order anything “will try again or visit an Apple or carrier store once the iPhone 4 is in stock” – and I assume that’s exactly what they will do.

In the meantime, iPhone 4 pre-orders at AT&T are suspended. The carrier says this is because it needs “to fulfill the orders already received”, but it’s probably also because it wants to make sure there will be no more problems.

Nicholas Tse is Happy That Lucas is An Upstart in the Film Industry

Nicholas Tse attended to the promotion of film "New Shaolin Temple" <<新少林寺>> in Shanghai. Jacky Chan, who guest-appeared in the film, also came specially to support. During interviewing in the promotion event yesterday, Nicholas can't avoid talking about the limelight in his family--Lucas. It's known when Cecilia Cheung finished work two days ago, she returned to hotel with son immediately to meet Nicholas, who just arrived Shanghai. The three of them didn't leave the hotel that night.

Nicholas was seen smoking on the balcony, it's believed that he considers health of his son, so he kept a distance from Lucas when he smoked. Yesterday Nicholas told reporters that Cecilia and Lucas went back home already.
Talked about Lucas still all the limelight in animated "CJ7" press event, even Stephen Chow and mom Cecilia had to step aside. It's rumored Lucas receives higher pay than his dad? Nicholas said he doesn't know. As a dad, he would give personal space to children, if his son has higher pay than his dad, how come the dad not be happy?

As for Cecilia came to visit him in a tiring trip, Nicholas said he's worried, but his wife persisted, so he had to respect her decision. Cecilia said she's a little woman, would definitely listen to her husband? Nicholas couldn't help and laughed.

Nicholas Tse's son receives HK$8m acting offer

Hong Kong celebrity couple Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung's son Lucas has been offered HK$8 million (S$1.4 million) by director Derek Tung on Tuesday to star in his film, reported Chinese media.

"If Lucas is willing to shoot a film, I am willing to give him double of what Nicholas Tse is getting," said Tung, who also promised to shoot the film entirely in Hong Kong and without any dangerous action sequences to set Cheung's mind at ease.

HK$8 million is a figure usually reserved for A-listers like Japanese star Takeshi Kaneshiro and Hong Kong singer-actress Sammi Cheng.

Instead of being green with envy, the elder Tse is brimming with pride that his son has been offered so much.

"My son's acting fees are higher than mine? Why wouldn't I be happy? Which parent wouldn't want their children to surpass them?" Tse told reporters at a promotional event for his upcoming film "New Shaolin Temple" in Shanghai.

Droid Incredible saves browser screenshots to internal memory, turns into a privacy nightmare?

June must be the month when privacy issues leave their hibernation and return to trouble our fragile minds. First we had Flash going loco, then AT&T's airwaves exploded with iPad users' email addresses, iPhone 4 pre-orders started sending people to the wrong account, and now this. Boy Genius Report has come across a rather worrying "feature" of the HTC Sense bookmarking widget on the Incredible, which takes sporadic screenshots of your browsing sessions. That wouldn't be so bothersome in itself, but try to remove said pictures, and you find where the problem lies. Ending the browsing session, deleting your history, and even a full reset to factory settings failed to eviscerate the indiscreet imagery. You have to manually discover their location and delete them by hand. Considering the high likelihood of Incredibles being sold and resold for years to come, this could turn the phone into a little cache of treasure for the proactive identity thief. And since it's a Sense issue, it might be affecting other HTC handsets as well. Wunderbar.

Adobe knocks Apple for serving up outdated Flash Player

Apple patches 28 bugs with Mac OS X 10.6.4; Update includes Flash from February

Apple on Tuesday patched 28 vulnerabilities in is Snow Leopard operating system, including two in Adobe's Flash Player.

But in another example of the tension between the two companies -- sparked by Apple CEO Steve Jobs' rejection of Flash as slow, buggy and obsolete -- Adobe immediately countered by noting that Apple's Flash fixes were already outdated.

"10.6.4 update for Mac OS X includes Flash Player, but not the latest version," said Brad Arkin, Adobe's director of security and privacy, in a message on Twitter Tuesday shortly after Apple issued the security and performance update.

Others at Adobe chimed in yesterday that Apple shipped the outdated Flash Player 10.0.45.2 with Mac OS X 10.6.4, and like Arkin, urged Mac users to download a newer edition directly from Adobe's site.

Adobe patched a pair of bugs in Flash Player 10.0.45.2 for Mac and Windows in February 2010.

Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 tablet leaks: Super AMOLED, voice calls & new controls [Video]

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Android tablet has shown up on video, though it’s not entirely clear whether this is the same model as the company’s South African arm flaunted on Twitter recently. Spotted in a video shot by gianclaro, this particular version is labeled the Galaxy Tab P1000; it has different controls to the tablet we’ve seen pictured before, dropping the hardware D-pad and replacing it with a row of touch-sensitive keys.

There’s still the same 7-inch Super AMOLED display, however, together with some version of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and even a huge dialler screen which suggests the Galaxy Tab will function as a phone for voice calls in addition to using its cellular connection for data purposes. Ports are unconfirmed, bar what looks like a proprietary docking connector running along the bottom of the tablet.

Hands On With The Actually Decent PlayStation 3 3D

The PS3's 3D feature—upgradeable via a software update for every PS3 out there—is actually pretty decent. Not only did we see it live, working, on a giant projection screen, but on a smaller HDTV in front of us.

First up, you still need a 3D-enabled TV to play these games, even though the PS3 supports 3D output.

Killzone 3, the biggest 3D draw for the PS3 in the next year, looked amazing. The bullets, sparks, random debris and enemies all looked different degrees of 3D. The effect was engaging, not off-putting, but also magnifies whatever nausea you experience (if you experience it) with first person shooters.
