J.K. Rowling willing to write more Harry Potter books, but without Harry in the lead. Who should they be about?

At last night’s London premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, J.K. Rowling told a reporter that more books about Harry and crew were a possibility: “If in ten years’ time I wanted to do another one I probably would. However, I said to Dan [Radcliffe] I don’t think there will ever be another book with Harry as the central character. So Dan can sleep easy.” And she added that the new movie was “my favorite of the lot.”

Sequels aren’t my favorite thing — but I’d give just about anything for Rowling’s return to the wizarding world. What do you think?

Yep, Facebook Takes Control Of Fb.com Ahead Of Mail Launch

Project Titan is coming. On Monday. That’s what we’ve heard from sources with knowledge of Facebook’s secret mail project. And since we broke that news, there has been a lot of speculation about what domain Facebook might use for these new email addresses. Currently, the popular choice is fb.com. But while it seemed like Facebook acquired it earlier this year, no one knew for sure. Now it looks like we do.

As the site Domain Name Wire points out, the Whois record for the domain name has just been updated. While Markmonitor.com is still listed as the registrar name, Facebook is all over the records now as well. Most importantly, the domain namespace servers are now pointing to facebook.com. And Facebook is listed as both the administrative and technical contact.

All of this doesn’t mean that Facebook will use the domain for their mail project, of course. But the timing is interesting, obviously. AllFacebook also reports that Facebook is using fb.com internally now.

Markmonitor.com is a service used by many big-name clients to hide their domain transactions. It was thought that fb.com sold to Facebook in September, but no one knew for sure because of this mask. But the nameserver change doesn’t lie. Facebook is the father!

'Glee': Gwyneth Paltrow sings Cee-Lo's 'Forget You' (Exclusive Video)

Gleeks, get ready to piddle in your pants a little bit: EW has the exclusive premiere of Academy Award-winner Gwyneth Paltrow singing Cee-Lo’s “Forget You” from next Tuesday’s episode of Glee. We’ve already had a little taste of the episode with the coming attractions and yesterday’s song tease, but now EW has your first look at Paltrow’s duet with the kids from New Directions. To give you all a little context, the actress is playing Holly Holliday, a substitute teacher who fills in for a sick Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) in the episode, which is directed by series co-creator Ryan Murphy. But enough talk — I know you really just wanna watch Paltrow get her Glee on. Watch the video below!

Miley Cyrus Caused Her Parents' Divorce?

Miley Cyrus has been called a number of things in her short career, but homewrecker hasn't been one of them -- until now.

The National Enquirer is defying both parenting wisdom and good taste by claiming that it was Miley who caused her parents' split, Gossip Cop reports.

The Enquirer's story claims that Miley's father, Billy Ray, became irate when, after grounding his daughter for talking back, he found that his wife, TIsh, had given her permission to go out. Billy Ray allegedly then called his wife a "b**ch" and tried to force her out of the bedroom, where she had been hiding.

This outlandish story claims that Billy was so incensed by the behavior of his wife and daughter that he immediately filed for divorce following the fight.

The craziest part about the story? It never happened, according to Miley's rep, who told Gossip Cop that the entire Enquirer piece is "not true."

HTC Surround and LG Quantum available for $0.01 at Amazon this weekend

Want the cheapest way to try out Windows Phone 7? Outside of getting yourself hooked up with a job at a tech blog, Amazon might have the very finest option for you with its newly discounted $0.01 pricing on two AT&T handsets for the new platform. The HTC Surround and its slide-out speaker are available immediately whereas the LG Quantum, which slides to reveal a more conventional QWERTY keypad, is on back-order. Fear not, though, both will cost you a mere cent when obtained in conjunction with a new AT&T line and a two-year bond with the carrier. We might still prefer their European counterparts, but you can't deny these phones look to be priced just about right for what they are. Shame that this pricing will only last through the weekend.

iOS 4.2 delayed one week due to Wi-Fi bug?

The Internet is all atwitter with reports claiming that Apple’s iOS 4.2 will, in fact, not be released this week. The rumors — which as far as we can tell all originate from the Greek blog iPhoneHellas – cite a “Wi-Fi bug” that cropped up in the iOS 4.2 gold master candidate that was released to developers late last week. It has been widely reported that the Cupertino company’s mobile OS update would be released to the general public at some point today. We’ve pinged Apple for comment and will update this article with any relevant information provided.

Big Bang to replace JYJ in Avex?

An interesting rumor was recently brought up by Japanese website Cyzowoman concerning Korean groups JYJ and BIGBANG, the website cites their source as fashion magazine Edge Style.

The rumors are based off of several musical insiders from various record labels in Japan. JYJ worked on a global album [The Beginning] with many famous producers in America and that if possible, JYJ is planning to hold a live concert in Japan before the end of the year. One of the musical insiders stated, “JYJ is planning to come to Japan in November to hold a secret live meeting to thank their fans in Japan. However, because of their many issues with their management team they currently can’t rent a space to hold a concert and nothing is confirmed at the moment.”

The musical insiders also stated that there’s an uneasy feeling threatening the existence of JYJ and that includes fellow Korean group BIGBANG. There’s many rumors that BIGBANG will leave Universal Music Japan to join up with AVEX and replace JYJ. If JYJ doesn’t return to the Japanese market soon, BIGBANG would essentially take over their popularity and JYJ will lose their place in Japan.

BIGBANG’s fellow YG Entertainment group 2NE1 recently signed with AVEX’s sub label Rhythm Zone, so despite being a rumor there may be some merit to this.

Kanye West: 'I Don't Hate Matt Lauer'

In today's least surprising news, Kanye West won't be returning to the 'Today' show, no matter what Matt Lauer says.

Yesterday Lauer stood by an increasingly notorious interview that grievously upset West, saying there was nothing "improper" or "unusual" about the segment. Lauer closed on a conciliatory note, saying, "We look forward to Kanye's return for a special live concert on the plaza on Friday, Nov. 26."

Not so, blasts Kanye over Twitter. "I'm not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons," he wrote, adding, "I blatantly said I'm not performing on a tweet and to everyone around me and the next day they still announced a performance."

During the segment that pushed West to say he was finished doing press, an affronted 'Ye said, "Please don't let that happen again, it's like ridiculous," after archival footage played while he was speaking. Now, Kanye has clarified that he doesn't hate Matt Lauer.

Microsoft's adorable new Windows 7 ad touts Blu-ray, shows Macs and PCs really just want to be friends

With the holiday buying season descending upon us, fancy new commercials are naturally ramping up in tandem. Microsoft has a new spin on its Windows 7 promotional efforts with its latest ad, which shows a Mac and a PC bonding over a Blu-ray copy of Avatar during a long flight. Naturally, the PC is the only one who can play Blu-ray, which is Microsoft's semi-subtle pitch, but really this commercial is about the power of Friendship and Sharing Things With Others. We were halfway about to ruin it all by smarmily suggesting the fact that the Mac can play a very similar HD copy of Avatar pulled down from iTunes that won't put as much of a hurt on his battery, but for whatever reason there's no Avatar on the US iTunes Store right now (possibly James Cameron's upcoming extended special collector's millennium edition release has something to do with it?). Which brings us around to Apple's real reason for not supporting Blu-ray: they can't take it away from you.

Mila Kunis: No Tequila Was Involved in Black Swan Sex Scene

While the industry and early audiences alike are abuzz with stories of her graphic (and sapphic) love scene with Black Swan costar Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis has just one word to describe reports that alcohol was involved: "False!"

"There was no tequila! Not sure where that rumor came from, but it's false," she told PEOPLE at the AFI Fest 2010 presented by Audi Closing Night Gala Thursday. "I don't think we could have done that scene if we were intoxicated."

While "that scene" may not have required the aid of lime and salt, both Portman and Kunis (who are are close friends off-screen) say it wasn't the only hurdle overcome to make the film.

She adds: "They're never comfortable, same-sex, opposite-sex, it's never comfortable." Not to mention, both Portman and Kunis underwent rigorous ballet training and body transformations for the film.

"I started a year ahead of time," Portman, who claims she developed longer arms and better posture, says of her dance training, "and by the end I was doing eight hours a day."

Kunis says she "lost 20 lbs." and "looked like Gollum from Lord of the Rings! ... Everything was just protruding."

Tegra 2 tablets will be “absolutely exquisite” promises NVIDIA CEO; Galaxy Tab just “a large phone”

NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang has acknowledged the company’s tardiness in entering the tablet market, saying that when it comes to taking on the iPad, “if you’re going to give that wonderful product a run for its money, you better build something absolutely exquisite.” Speaking during NVIDIA’s Q3 2010 earnings call, Huang spent plenty of time talking up next-gen Android phones and tablets that are in the pipeline, directly referring to the iPhone and iPad as the prime competition.

“And so whether it’s the quality of the work of the craftsmanship that our teams are working on, or the capabilities of these devices, they have to be absolutely ground-breaking or why would anybody come to buy them? So I think that the extra time that was necessary to build these devices, and build the operating system and all the applications and the system software necessary to do it — and obviously, we’re not going to talk about what they are right now, but they’re going to be absolutely magical. And so I think that that’s the important thing to realize. And I think that although we’re a little bit late, the market potential is so huge, and this is the future of computing. This is the second device into the future of computing.” Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO, NVIDIA

NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset has long been promised for tablets and smartphones, but it’s only within the past couple of months that we’re seeing the first devices using the chipset arrive on the market. Meanwhile high-profile tablets like Notion Ink’s Adam, which is based around Tegra 2, and rumored slates from ASUS, Motorola and HTC are all incoming.

Huang isn’t impressed with the current breed of Android tablets, however, telling CNET that the Galaxy Tab is “a tablet that uses a phone operating system on a large display” but that “a tablet is not a large phone.” He says early 2011 will see the main deluge of Tegra 2 powered models arrive.
