Loyal Friend Chelsea Handler Calls Angelina Jolie a 'Homewrecker'

After spending Thanksgiving in Mexico with BFF Jennifer Aniston, tart-tongued funnywoman Chelsea Handler didn't hide her feelings towards Angelina Jolie at her show in Newark, New Jersey Friday night, calling Angie a home-wrecking "b***h" who doesn't have any female friends because shes a [c-word].

"Chelsea hates Angelina and doesn't for one second buy that she is this good person rescuing children in need around the World," a friend of the comedienne tells me. "Everyone in Hollywood is scared to say what they really think about Angelina except Chelsea."

Opera for Android to get HTML5 video, Flash

Two significant features are coming to Opera Mobile for Android, the Oslo company's higher-end smartphone browser: playing HTML5 video and accommodating Adobe Systems' Flash Player plug-in.

"New Web technologies aim to replace it, but Flash will be around for some time. If you have Flash player installed on your phone, Opera will support it," said mobile team member Pavel Studen? in a blog post on Saturday.

HTML5 video, one of those technologies that encroaches on Flash's turf, lets developers embed video directly into a Web page, as happens with images. It's also en route Studen? said. He didn't say when the two features will arrive.

Opera Mobile for Android is in beta testing. It competes most directly with the built-in browser that comes with Android, but also with a mobile version of Firefox that's also in beta testing (a third beta of which should arrive soon) and a handful of other browsers. Google permits other browsers to be installed on Android; Apple only permits alternative browser user interfaces that use iOS's browser engine under the hood.

Highs and lows of Lady Gaga: Pop star wears her favourite gravity-defying platforms with a plunging dress

She's had her share of ups and downs - and that's just in the wardrobe department. Lady Gaga stepped out in Milan today in yet another head-turning outfit. The 22-year-old singer arrived at the Mi Officine Meccaniche Recording Studios in Milan over the weekend wearing an incredibly low-cut dress and a pair of pretty hazardous shoes.

The black ankle boots with studs on the soles, were missing that vital material that most women look for in a shoe: a heel. But Gaga didn’t seem to mind and managed to balance on the bizarre footwear, even taking a moment to adjust her equally spike-emblazoned gloves. At one point the Grammy-award winning singer had to grab onto a car door for assistance, but she did make it to and from the studio without a fall.

Of course, Lady Gaga is a huge fan of kooky footwear, and has worn similar heel-free designs on various occasions this year. Over the weekend Gaga took theme dressing to the next level by visiting a Chanel store in Via Sant'Andrea in the Italian city looking like a corpse.

Full Details On Facebook’s Overhauled Profile Pages

Later tonight, 60 Minutes will be broadcasting an interview with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and VP Product Chris Cox, where they’ll debut a new Profile Page in front of millions of viewers. It’s a big deal given how core profiles are to the social network, and we’ve got the full rundown on what’s new and what’s changing. Read on.

There are two big themes to the revamped design: a bigger emphasis on keeping things visually interesting, and streamlining the design to make it easier to find information people actually care about. Facebook Product Manager Peter Deng explains that on the old profiles, some of the most popular features and information has been a pain to find — the ‘View more photos’ link, for example, is immensely popular, but it’s been nestled between far less important links for years.

Motorola DROID Pro now $49 from Best Buy Mobile

‘Tis the season, we suppose. Motorola’s latest, and most enterprise-focused DROID device has now dropped to the very appealing price of only $49.99 with new two year service agreement from Best Buy Mobile. Both online and physical store locations are offering the deal, and from what we have seen so far, this is the lowest out of the door price for this handset. Now, you’re ultimately going to have to make the call between the DROID Pro or the Motorola DROID 2 Global (if global DROID devices are up your alley, that is), but the price gap has definitely just been made a bunch wider. Make sure to check out our DROID Pro review to help you decide, ok?

'Tangled' topples 'Harry Potter' at the box office

The new Harry Potter got beat—by what? Natalie Portman's Oscar vehicle rolled out—did it stall? And Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor finally got it on—was it worth the wait?

The box-office results:

Tangled overcame Deathly Hallows Part 1, and a No. 2 Thanksgiving debut, to win the weekend with an estimated $21.5 million.

The Disney-produced 3-D take on Rapunzel is just the second film this year, after How to Train Your Dragon, to go No. 1 after starting out of the top spot, Exhibitor Relations reminded us.

The latest Harry Potter settled for $16.7 million, and second place. Its reign at No. 1 lasted two weeks, so, yes, that's over, but it's still conjuring huge numbers, so, no, it's not over. Worldwide, the film has grossed more than $620 million in just 17 days.

Viber VoIP iPhone app: 3G calling, no registration, and totally free

You know those voice minutes you've been coaxed into buying for, like, ever? Now would be an awesome time to bid 'em adieu. Out of nowhere, Viber has swooped in to crush the dreams of Skype and every other VoIP provider out there, and if these guys can reach critical mass, avid iPhone users will certainly be able to buy a mobile plan with fewer minutes. It works as such: install the free app on your iPhone, provide just your phone number (no "registration" is necessary) and then fire it up. Viber uses your existing contact and favorites list, and you can make Viber or standard voice calls from within the app; naturally, a Viber logo pops up beside any contact who is also a user, making it easy to see who you can VoIP call for free. As our brethren over at TUAW point out, there's simply no catch to be found -- well, except for those of you counting your kilobytes on AT&T's newer, metered data plans. Call quality was said to be excellent over 3G and WiFi, and potentially best of all, gratis SMS and an Android version are both on the way. Head on past the break if you need any additional convincing, and tap that iTunes link to get your download on. So, AT&T, what's the value proposition on those "rollover minutes" again?

Mel Gibson: Crazy Like a Fox in The Beaver?

OK, he had us at crazy. In a bout of accidentally inspired type-casting, cuckoo-bird Mel Gibson looks pretty damn natural playing a puppet-possessed nut in Jodie Foster's The Beaver. Judging by this new trailer, it seems that rumors of Mel's Hollywood demise may have been premature. That's our take anyway.

But what do you think? Would you pay to see Gibson in Foster's Beaver. Let us know in the comments section.
