Ke$ha's 'Take It Off' Music Video Teased in Pictures

Several pictures taken from the filming of Ke$ha's "Take It Off" music video have been unveiled as a preview. From getting down and dirty in glittery sand, the "Tik Tok" hitmaker is seen the photos, courtesy of Eyeprime, cleaning up and striking her best pose in a faux fur coat. There are also images which show her sitting on a motorbike.

Written by Ke$ha along with Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly, "Take It Off" is the fourth single from Ke$ha's debut album "Animal" and released as a follow-up to "Your Love Is My Drug". The accompanying music video is directed by Paul Hunter and Dori Oskowitz. It is expected to be premiered later this month.

'Avatar: Special Edition' packs 8 new minutes: Will you see it?

James Cameron, honorary dean of the More Is Better School of Blockbuster Studies, has some good news for Avatar fans: He’s releasing a special edition of the movie that boasts eight additional minutes of footage, including “new creatures and action scenes,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie will roll out Aug. 27 on 3-d screens only.

As I mentioned back in January, I’m generally in the once-is-enough camp when it comes to movies like this. But my guess is there are plenty of hardcore fans out there who are already packing their bags for a trip back to Pandora. Even better, the re-release gives you the perfect chance to go with someone who may have missed the whole phenomenon the first time around, like, say, your friend who was undergoing a military experiment in a sensory deprivation chamber for six months, or your maiden aunt who hasn’t been to the theaters since Buena Vista Social Club.

Katy Perry rules the Billboard Hot 100 chart for fifth week in a row

This is one boring week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Mostly because the first five spots in the top 10 are the same as last week’s. For the fifth straight week, Katy Perry‘s “California Gurls” tops the chart. Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna is No. 2 for it’s second week in a row. Usher‘s “OMG” holds the No. 3 spot, while B.o.B’s “Airplanes” does the same at No. 4. And Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire” is No. 5.

The fun starts at No. 6, where newcomer Mike Posner creeps up a spot with “Cooler Than Me.” Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” leaps seven places to No. 7. Drake’s “Find Your Love” seems to have stalled out, dropping two places to No. 8. Jason Derulo’s “Ridin’ Solo” moves up one to No. 9. And Eminem’s “Not Afraid” closes out the top 10.

Album Sales Plummet for Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has been tamed again.

After an incredibly disappointing opening week of sales for "Can't Be Tamed," fans of this young singer said to wait. It's just been a few days, they cried! Give the album time!

A week later, though, the compilation is barely holding a place in the Billboard 200's top 10. With Eminem's "Recovery" still holding strong at number-one (with 313,000 copies sold), Miley's CD fell six places to number-nine, selling just 32,000 copies.

That's an astounding 68% drop-off from last week.

By comparison, Miley's 2008 "Breakout" sold 1.5 million copies and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. There's very little chance "Can't Be Tamed" will achieve half that level of success.

Does this mean Miley has lost a significant amount of her fan base? There's no other way to see it. Numbers speak for themselves.

Perhaps she should go to college, after all. They have marketing classes there.

Rumor: Apple’s 4th generation iPod Touch getting HD video recording and Facetime?

UK retailer John Lewis, self-admittedly, compiled a list of the “noises we’re hearing from suppliers” and guesstimated the initial specs for the fourth generation iPod Touch. The retailer postulated that the upcoming iPod Touch refresh will feature a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with HD video capability and built-in flash, YouTube uploading, accelerometer, and gyroscope. The portable multimedia device will also reportedly include FaceTime calling over WiFi, which suggests the inclusion of a front-facing camera and iOS 4. If this handful of rumored specs pans out, the next generation iPod Touch may share many of the desirable features of the iPhone 4, a product development pattern that has been observed in the past.

More Windows 8 hints, this time on the virtualization front

Microsoft watchers have combed through a leaked slide deck about Windows 8 over the past couple of weeks for clues about Microsoft’s next version of Windows. A French site, Ma-Config.com, this week unearthed some additional Windows 8 information, as well.

Granted, the new Windows 8 information is “old.” It dates back to March 2009, when ITManager.com published the first part of an interview with Bernard Ourghanlian, Technical and Security Director with Microsoft France. Microsoft may have shifted its Windows plans and priorities considerably since then.

But the interview still contains some telling tidbits about Microsoft’s thinking, regarding desktop virtualization and system updates which may become part of Windows 8. And given the fact that Microsoft officials said last year that systems-management/updating technologies would be key to Windows 8, I’m inclined to think at least some of what Ourghanlian discussed still holds.

(The interview is in French; I’m relying primarily on the English translation generated by Bing Translator, with a few of my own adjustments.)

Wu Chun has not dated for 14 years?!

The actor also denied rumours that he dated former co-star Ella Chen

You'll think given his looks Wu Chun would not have problems finding a girlfriend, but you may be wrong.

Taiwanese heartthrob Wu Chun was in Okinawa, Japan, to promote his latest idol drama Yang Guang Tian Shi (loosely translated to Angel of Sunshine), which also features singer-actress Rainie Yang.

Yang Guang Tian Shi is a joint collaboration between Taiwan, China and Japan with production costs running up to TWD80m (S$4m). Even with that huge scale, the media still chose to focus on the love lives of the two stars.

Previously rumoured to have dated Taiwanese stars such as Angela Zhang, Ariel Lin and most recently, Ella Chen of girl group S.H.E., Wu Chun revealed to everyone's surprise that he has been single for the past 14 years.

Yet Ella had mentioned in an earlier interview that she still has feelings for a fellow actor she dated when working together on a previous drama, leading reporters to suspect that Wu Chun is the man in question.

Kim Hyun Joong confirmed for drama ‘Mischievous Kiss’

Group SS501′s Kim Hyun Joong has been chosen as the final lead for ‘It started with a kiss’ / ‘Mischievous kiss’.

Kim Hyun Joong’s side Keyeast has revealed that they successfully finished discussions with the drama’s production company Group Eight recently. However, although Kim Hyun Joong has not had signed the papers with Group Eight, they have finished and confirmed his partake in the drama. In awhile more, Group Eight will be releasing official notice of this.

To Kim Hyun Joong’s participation in this drama, he has been on a fiery go with many other strong rivals right until the end, with considered nominees like CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa and DBSG’s ChangMin. Though ChangMin was the final consideration along side Kim Hyun Joong right until the final decision, and that his agency SM Entertainment did meet up with Group Eight with quite a keen stand, MBC’s production company has finally taken a firm stand with Kim Hyun Joong as the choice for male protagonist.

Cristiano Ronaldo Names His Baby … Cristiano

Hello, Junior: Cristiano Ronaldo has named his his nearly month-old son – after himself.

The family of the hunky Portuguese soccer superstar tells the weekly Expresso that the baby, born June 17, is named Cristiano.

Ronaldo, 25, and his girlfriend, Russian model Irina Shayk, have been vacationing in New York as word has spread about the birth. The athlete announced the baby's arrival via Facebook and Twitter, neglecting to offer any word about the mother. His management company had no comment.

Expresso reports that little Cristiano weighed 9 lbs., 8 oz., and measured 21 in. at birth.

As the parents spend much of their holiday in such downtown Manhattan hotspots as SoHo House and the Gansevoort Hotel, the baby is in Portugal, being cared for by Ronaldo's mother Dolores, 55, and sister Kátia Aveira – who's been quoted as saying the infant "looks like his father and like me. He has the same eyes."

She also tells Correia da Manha,, "We're very happy. The baby is well, it's healthy and that's what matters."

Samsung Captivate hits AT&T July 18th

We've just gotten official word that the Captivate -- AT&T's rendition of Samsung's global Galaxy S line of high-end Android phones -- will be available starting Sunday, July 18 for $199 on contract with no rebate required. That pricing is more or less what we'd expected considering that T-Mobile priced the Vibrant the same way -- and if rumors of T-Mobile's launch date bump are true, the Captivate won't be the first kid on the block. Still, all four US nationals are getting this thing in July, which is an extremely impressive Android coup for the boys and girls over at Sammy. Stay tuned for a review just as soon as we can make it happen.

Emmy nominations 2010: Who got snubbed? And which nominee has you most excited?

The 2010 Emmy Award nominations are in, and while there are certainly reasons to celebrate — nods for Glee‘s Chris Colfer and Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara, for starters — I can’t help feeling like a dog staring down a bowl of cold kibble while the whole family sits down to the table for a juicy steak dinner. Too early for that kind of heavy food metaphor? Okay, let’s start ranting about the snubs that have us all seething with fury — because it’ll be hard to even process the full list of nominees until we’ve released the pressure in our chest cavities over the ones that got away. Oh, and just so this post doesn’t turn into a rioting mob armed with brickbats and torches, be sure to finish your screed by sharing the nomination that made you happiest. I’ll get us started…you pick up the baton in the comments below. Okay, here goes…

Emmys 2010: 'Glee, 'Mad Men' lead the nominations

Nominations for the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards were announced today for the telecast airing live Aug. 29 on NBC. Five of the 12 nominated drama and comedies are first-timers and newcomers make up a major portion of the performing categories. Here are the big categories:

Official iPhone 4 prices for T-Mobile UK unveiled

iPhone 4 is already available in the UK, but not via T-Mobile, which has yet to launch the new Apple smartphone.

In case you’re wondering about iPhone 4 pricing on T-Mobile, the carrier has just posted most of the details you need.

As probably expected, the new iPhone is not cheap at T-Mobile (since it’s not cheap at O2, Vodafone or Orange, either).

The cheapest monthly plan will cost you £25 per month, with an upfront pay of £259 for the iPhone 4 16GB, or £349 for the 32GB version. This plan includes 100 minutes, 100 texts and 500MB data.

If you need more data, you have to pay £45 per month for 750MB (iPhone 4 16GB is £59, iPhone 4 32GB is £159), or £60 per month for 1GB (iPhone 4 16GB is free, iPhone 4 32GB is £99).

T-Mobile (which also readies the launch of SE Xperia X10 Mini Pro) will offer the iPhone 4 on pay as you go, too, but only the 16GB version, for £499. Check out all the plans here at the carrier’s website.

Dual-booting Ubuntu Nexus One tutorial released [Video]

Servers are getting smaller, but they’re still not quite as compact as your cellphone; now, thanks to a new tutorial, your Google Nexus One can double up as your test web server. NexusOneHacks has persuaded Ubuntu to live in harmony with Android 2.2 on the Google smartphone, producing a dual-boot device that allows you to run regular Ubuntu/Linux code.

Rather than wiping out the basic Android OS – which would rather limit your phone’s abilities to be, well, a phone – the Ubuntu install runs alongside the original platform. The terminal runs in the background, while the Ubuntu X11 UI shows up in the Android VNC app.

Basically, once you’ve installed you can then run just about any Ubuntu code you like, as long as it can deal with the Nexus One’s 1GHz processor. Your handset will need to be rooted beforehand, and NexusOneHacks says they also have it running on an HTV EVO 4G so even if you don’t have the official Google phone you may still be in luck.

Lindsay Lohan a No-Show at Her Own Birthday Bash

Bloggers were in a frenzy this week over news that Lindsay Lohan may be hitting the party scene just one day after being sentenced to 90 days in jail.

But Lohan – who was reportedly expected to celebrate her belated birthday Wednesday night at her favorite Hollywood hotspot, Las Palmas – never surfaced.

A source tells PEOPLE the troubled actress, 24, confirmed she would still have her party only hours before mysteriously not appearing. "Lindsay was planning to celebrate her birthday with the owners of Las Palmas, who are like family to her, and her friend Ferras, who was also celebrating his birthday that night."

The Mean Girls star must have made a last-minute decision to keep things low-key. "Lindsay is not having her birthday @laspalmas!!!" her close pal Marcus Molinari Tweeted around midnight Thursday. "She is at home with friends and family!!! We wish her well and love her!!!"

HTC Mondrian and Mozart confirmed to run Windows Phone 7

The HTC Mondrian is a real device after all: HTC is confirming this via one of its official websites, and it’s also confirming that the handset runs Windows Phone 7 and features a WVGA (480 x 800) display.

According to previous rumors, the Mondrian should also have a 1.3GHz Snapdragon processor.

The HTC Mondrian might look like in the image below, although this is likely just a WP7 concept design, and not an actual smartphone:

Another WP7 device confirmed by HTC is the HTC Mozart. This features a WVGA display, too, but other details are not known at the moment.

HTC’s Peter Chou said more than once that the company would launch at least one Windows Phone 7 device this year, so let’s wait and see if it’s the Mondrian, the Mozart, the UK-bound Gold, or all three of them.

Dragon Age 2 Confirmed, Will Feature "New Hero"

First few details on the highly anticipated sequel hit the web.

We've more or less known BioWare would be releasing Dragon Age 2 some time early next year -- Electronic Arts practically announced as much a few months ago, and Awakening teased a new Dragon Age title for February 1, 2011. But today, EA has officially confirmed the existence of Dragon Age 2, and Game Informer has the first few details on the title as well.

The confirmation came nestled in a press release concerning EA taking over control of Warhammer Online in Europe (via VG247), which lists "Dragon Age 2, the highly anticipated sequel to 2009's 'RPG of the Year' Dragon Age: Origins," as one of the titles that BioWare currently has in development. Furthermore, Game Informer's website is teasing an upcoming cover story for Dragon Age 2, with the tease revealing the new game will feature a "new hero, a different part of the world, and a ton of surprising improvements."

That's about all Game Informer is revealing right now, but the promise of a "new hero" already seems to suggests players won't transfer their character from Dragon Age: Origins into Dragon Age 2, the way players could transfer their version of Commander Shepard from Mass Effect into Mass Effect 2. Still, that's not entirely certain yet, so we'll see what BioWare has to say when more details are revealed.

With Narsha’s new mini-album and music video teaser already being revealed, it’s time for her last step of the comeback process: the release of her music video (and probably the best part too)!

Narsha went with a totally unique style in this MV and although it may look a bit weird, she’s rockin’ every outfit she wears, continuing to show off her natural beauty and fierceness in a variety of ways. Enough with the small talk though, enjoy her highly anticipated BBI-RI-BOP-A MV below!

Hangeng releases second track, Wings of Love

Talented singer Hangeng recently released an interview as well as rehearsal footage to get fans hyped up for his solo concert, and to further spice things up, his second track from album Geng Xin was released!

The song was actually composed by a fan called Shi Lei back in 2007, being a gift and promise to Hangeng from his fans. In order to express his gratitude for having such amazing fans, he sang the song himself with some small tweaks.

Hangeng is such a sweet guy. Be sure to listen to the soft and soothing song below, and many thanks to sushiroll13 for the tip.

Lindsay Lohan Faces a Year of Random Drug Testing

Along with her 90-day jail sentence and another three months in an inpatient rehab facility, Lindsay Lohan will have to stay clean and sober for the next 12 months.

Superior Court Judge Marsha N. Revel's sentencing order, released Wednesday, specifies the actress will be randomly tested for drugs and alcohol until August 2011, when her probation term is over. It's unclear, however, if she'll be required to wear a SCRAM bracelet upon release.

"Lindsay got the typical sentence for anyone who has a serious problem with drugs and alcohol," says veteran criminal defense attorney Harland Braun, who's not involved with the case. "Lohan repeatedly tested the patience of the judge, who saw through all her excuses. That's what addicts do: Tell lies."

Lohan has been allowed to take five prescription medications while on probation: Nexium (for heartburn), Zoloft and Trazadone (both antidepressants), Adderall (for ADD), and the painkiller Dilaidid "sometimes ... for dental pain."

"She has been on the same prescription medication for as long as she can remember," according to her probation report, released Wednesday by the Los Angeles court system. "She has provided medical proof for her prescription drugs."

The report states that in previous drug tests, she twice tested positive for amphetamines and opiates, but those were the result of Adderall and Dilaudid.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Topless Photos: Attractive

Okay, Transformers 3, we forgive you.

When it was first announced that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would replace Megan Fox in the third installment of this franchise, we were quite disturbed because... well, have you seen Megan Fox?!?

But the Victoria's Secret model has proven Michael Bay and company correct by doing what she does best: posing seductively.

In the following photos, believed to be from DT Magazine, Huntington-Whiteley sheds her top, protrudes a few ribs and makes us look forward to Transformers 3 for reasons that have nothing to do with its inevitably awful script...

Android 2.2 (Froyo) versus iOS 4: the browser showdown (video)

A little while back Google boldly claimed that Froyo would have the world's fastest mobile browser, but the lack of final software back then meant we'd had to tie up our itchy hands until now. And boy, it sure looks like it was worth the wait -- Ars Technica's JavaScript benchmarks show that not only is Froyo's browser almost three times faster than its Éclair counterpart, but it also beats iOS 4's Safari by at least two-fold. That said, numbers alone don't always reflect real-life performance -- especially with Froyo supporting iPhone's much-missed Flash -- so we went ahead and conducted our own browser speed test. Read on for our videos and results after the jump.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson: At War or On a Date?

We're very sorry to report this, Twihards, but Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are "at war" with each other.

The reason? Rob's alleged inappropriate behavior with co-star Anna Kendrick, which was caught on camera and over which Kristen confronted her man - on the red carpet of the Eclipse premiere!

Somehow - despite the presence of nearly every magazine, newspaper and cameraman in the country at the event - the only publication to notice this "breakdown" was random Australian rag Famous. But, hey, it must be true.

Just like Jessica Simpson's confirmed pregnancy, tabloids don't just make up cover stories out of thin air, do they?

Pattinson and Stewart looked quite happy and cozy when they surprised Eclipse fans in Los Angeles Monday night. Could that all have been an act?!?

As pictured below, the couple was also spotted at Hotel Café in Hollywood yesterday, attending a Sam Bradley concert.

Rob does look especially somber, but we're gonna chalk that up to paparazzi invading his personal space, not pointy, imaginary love triangles stabbing him in the heart...

T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S to be launched on July 15? & more

When T-Mobile USA announced the Samsung Vibrant (its own version of the Galaxy S), it said that the smartphone would be available starting July 21.

However, the carrier might have changed its mind since then, and now it appears it wants to launch the Vibrant earlier, on July 15 – that’s the same day when Verizon will start selling the Motorola Droid X.

This image below seems to confirm the July 15 launch date, although we can’t be sure of its authenticity yet.

Cecilia Cheung sued for S$8.3m

A Chinese company is suing Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung for 41 million yuan (S$8.3 million), after claiming that her involvement in a 2008 sex photo scandal caused them to lose a fortune, reported Chinese media.

Socks and hosiery manufacturer, Langsha Knitting Co Ltd, claimed that it had previously hired Cheung as their celebrity spokesperson and invested a large sum to package her.

However, Cheung's public image was in tatters after photos of her having sex with Hong Kong singer-actor Edison Chen surfaced.

As a result, the company quickly replaced Cheung with Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, but alleged that Cheung's scandal had indirectly led to a decrease in the sales of their products.

It also claimed that the scandal had caused them to suffer immense monetary losses by forcing them to switch spokespersons on short notice.

The firm had actually announced that it would seek compensation from Cheung in October last year but only took action recently after the 30-year-old actress' comeback made headlines.

Ke$ha Naked!? Ke$ha Nude Photo Leaked?

Singing star Ke$ha has found herself at the center of a sex snap scandal after an alleged image of the pop tart topless and covered in seminal fluid was leaked to the Interwebs on Wednesday.

“PHOTOS OF KE$HA HAVING SEX HAVE LEAKED ONLINE!!” screamed a ZackTaylor.ca headline that surfaced last March.

According to the site, images of “what appears to be singer Ke$ha engaging in sexual intercourse and other fun stuff with an unknown man” appeared online last spring, temporarily causing a stir on the web. Although at the time, reps for the “Tik Tok” hitmaker shot down rumors that Ke$ha had ever disrobed for any nude snaps, rumors of photographic evidence of a roll in the hay with an ex have come back to haunt Rihanna’s future tour mate. The blogosphere is atwitter this Wednesday over the emergence of a suggestive photo, which purportedly features the grungy goddess topless and sprayed with semen.

After scrutinizing the photo over and over, all we can decipher is that the person in the photo looks like fat, fourteen year old skater kid with melted ice cream on his gut! Hey, without the glittery makeup, face paint, and distracting feathers hanging from her hair, we can’t be expected to offer an accurate analysis.

Dakota Fanning Marie Claire Magazine Aug. 2010: “I’m Not That Little Young Girl Anymore”

When you start out young, people get really attached to who you are at six years old. I hope that ‘The Runaways’ was kind of a moment to be like, ‘You know, I’m not that young little girl anymore, but I’m still not all grown up, either. As you get older, there’s so much more that you can do in films… As you approach 18, a whole new world opens up to you as an actor, and I really look forward to that…”

Child star Dakota Fanning, 16, on Coming of Age in Tinseltown, Marie Claire Magazine Aug. 2010

Daring Fireball: Microsoft sold 503 KINs

John Gruber of Daring Fireball has a “well-placed” source who informed him that Microsoft sold a mere 503 KINs before the handset was given its end-of-life papers on June 30th. Speculative rumors of the devices dismal sales figures have been tossed around willy-nilly over the last several week, and five hundred was a popular guess; others quoting anonymous sources pegged sales at “over 1,000 but under 10,000.” One Microsoft employee told website Business Insider:

“We had a huge launch party on campus and I bet that party cost more than the amount of revenues we took in on the product. As an employee, I am embarrassed. As a shareholder, I am pissed. It’s one thing to incubate products and bring them to a proof-of-concept to see what works, but it’s something else to launch. I suspect we launched because we felt like we HAD to so we could save face because we were trying to build buzz, but overall – huge fail.”

Ouch. Anyone out there know somone who picked up a KIN?

Raymond Lam: I have always lacked confidence!

Suave and charming Raymond Lam is the object of many fan-girls' fantasies. It's hard to imagine that the Hong Kong TVB heartthrob, is less than confident about his looks.

In town recently for Bio-essence's Nugeno Men Cool's product event, Raymond revealed that he has always lacked confidence. "When on stage I'm just doing what I enjoy; my confidence comes from the fans and audience." Raymond also said that while he is not satisfied with the way he looks, he is not bothered by it. "I am an actor, so the main focus is on my acting. Whether or not I portray a character well depends on my acting skills and understanding of the character, not on my looks."

Despite his glamourous appearance, Raymond revealed that he is very casual when not at work. A T-shirt, shorts, slippers and a cap (so he doesn't have to comb his hair) and off he goes, without any fear of the paparazzi taking his 'unglam' photos.

Raymond, however, is not always so easygoing with the press. Being the son of a property tycoon, media reports often focus on his background, which he hates."I'm fine with reports about me; after all, I'm a celebrity so I'll just treat it as a form of entertainment and promotion. But I've been in the business for 12 years, with a lot of results to show, yet reporters always go back to the same old story about my family background. I feel that since the public already knows who I am, there's no point in talking about it anymore."

When asked if he would consider refuting media reports through online channels, like what other artistes have done, Raymond replied that he would rather do his job well and let time clear his name.

'He is so talented': Vanessa Paradis talks about her admiration - and fear - of partner Johnny Depp

She is the mysterious French beauty who has captured and kept the heart of a Hollywood heartthrob for 12 years.

Vanessa Paradis says she has been lucky in her relationship with Johnny Depp - but she would never work with him.

The model and actress, who rarely gives interviews, has opened up about her actor beau, with whom she has two children, and her admiration for his talent.

But she says she would never work with Depp, 47, on a movie as she would be too scared.

In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Vanessa, 37, said they were both going to be on the set of Terry Gilliam's film Don Quixote, before filming was stopped.

And Vanessa said that in a way, she was actually relieved.

Lindsay Lohan: My F-Word Manicure Was Only a Joke

Lindsay Lohan says her explicit fingernail message was not directed at the judge who sentenced her to 90 days in jail.

"Didn't we do our nails as a joke with our friend?" Lohan Tweeted to a pal on Wednesday. "It had nothing to do w/court.. it's an airbrush design from a stencil."

Lohan created a stir when up-close shots of her hand from her sentencing Tuesday showed "F--- U" written on her left middle finger.

YouTube launches Leanback, mobile site gets HTML5 revamp (video)

Looks like YouTube's having quite the day. The site has officially rolled out Leanback, its television-friendly interface first espied during Google TV's big unveiling. The interface works via keyboard arrow keys -- sorry, no option to use the mouse -- letting you scroll through your feeds / recommendations, categories, playback options, and search bar. Videos encompass the entire browser menu and will crank up the HD when available. So far, we're seeing snappy response with navigation, and some utter embarrassment at the (unfortunately accurate) suggestions YouTube is throwing our way.

Meanwhile on the handheld front, YouTube's also pushed live a new mobile site. New touted features include a more touch-friendly UI, further incorporation of the main site's elements such as favorites and ratings, and a generally speedier existence. YouTube also promises to work at bringing update parity across its desktop and portable kin, "unlike native apps which are not updated as frequently" (come on, tell us how you really feel, guys). Since the TV season is in a bit of a lull anyway, might as well grab your iPhone, Android device, HTPC remote, laptop, or whatever other screen you have and play catchup with your viral videos. Promotional footage after the break.

HTC provides explanation for 30FPS limitation of the HTC EVO 4G

An HTC represesntative in attendance at the HTC Aria event in Chicago last night, reportedly provided some insight into the 30FPS limitation that has been reported on the HTC EVO 4G. As was suspected, the 30FPS limit is imposed via software, but it is a hardware limitation that lies at the heart of this issue. Though the smartphone is capable of much more than 30FPS — as shown above — the EVO 4G is throttled down to support the 30FPS limitation of the HDMI hardware that is included on the handset. EVO 4G owners will be stuck with 30FPS on all their games until HTC decides to throw in some code to dynamically adjust the FPS based upon the presence or absence of an HDMI cable. Of course, there is always the folks at xda-developers who have already been working on this limitation and most likely have some hackery already on-hand that will give you both 30FPS HDMI out and 60FPS gaming.

Sandrine Pinna's face turns red from looking at Will Pan's picture

Since his last drama hit series, “Miss No Good,” Will Pan will be returning to film another idol drama. This time, he will be paired with the Asia-Pacific Best Actress Sandrine Pinna (Chang Yung Yung), who is a Chinese-French mix. It has also been awhile for Sandrine since she last filmed a TV series. Thus, upon accepting the role, she began studying it. And in order to develop her chemistry with Will, she often takes out a photo of Will and looks at it, imagining herself falling in love with him. She giggles, “After a while, my face would even turn red from looking at his picture. And I would also dream about him in my sleep too.”

A few days ago, their new drama, “愛∞無限” (roughly translates to Infinite Love), began styling the characters’ images. Sandrine will be playing the daughter of a wealthy family. For the role, she even cut her hair short despite she has always kept her long hair since high school. Understandably, she was a little reluctant, “I even lost sleep (over the haircut).”

After Sandrine got her haircut, everyone asked Will which hairstyle he likes best. He immediately responded, “They’re both good!” Sandrine commented back, “You’re quite smart, aren’t you? (Now) you won’t be put in a difficult situation (by the media)!”

Gaile Lok and Leon Lai have a happy marriage

Gaile Lok attended a uniform design competition event yesterday as a judge and provided a lot of valuable feedback to the competitors. Earlier, a magazine reported that Gaile and her husband Leon were having marriage problems due to disagreements over having children. When asked about this, Gaile responded: “I don’t control what the magazines write about and I don’t care. Besides, Hong Kong magazines have always been very ‘creative’ with its content. If Leon and I were truly getting a divorce like the magazine claims, then I would respond, but since it’s not true, then I won’t even bother. Plus, if it were truly to happen, the magazines definitely would NOT be the first ones to know about it. I don’t have a close relationship with the magazines at all, so I would choose to personally announce to news media (traditional newspapers) instead.” Asked whether her mother was concerned about the divorce rumors, Gaile expressed that she talks to her mother on the phone every week, so she already knows that the reports are false.

As for Leon’s response to the divorce rumors, Gaile indicated: “He doesn’t have much of a response. The pregnancy and divorce rumors are constantly being circulated anyway – if he is asked about it, he will answer and move on. Our relationship has always been good – we’re not the overly ‘sweet and lovey’ type, but that doesn’t mean that there are problems.”

Xbox Live took in $1.2 billion in 2009 - Report

Bloomberg combines subscriber base with Microsoft executive's comments to put a number on company's online service revenues.

In February, independent research firm FADE estimated that Microsoft's Xbox Live service brought in $103 million in revenues for 2009. That estimate might have been a bit low, as a Bloomberg report today pegged the actual number as over $1.2 billion.

The news agency came about its figure by combining two pieces of information from Microsoft. First, the company said that roughly half of the 25 million Xbox Live user base paid an annual fee for service. If 12.5 million people spent the standard $50 for the Xbox Live Gold annual subscription, that would put subscription revenues alone at $625 million (Bloomberg reasoned "about $600 million"). Additionally, Dennis Durkin, COO of Microsoft's interactive entertainment business, told the news agency that in 2009, sales of Xbox Live content like games and movies topped subscription revenue for the first time, suggesting at least another $600 million-$625 million in revenue.

If that figure is accurate, it would represent a spike of roughly 60 percent in lifetime Xbox Live product sales in a single year. In January of 2009, Microsoft put Xbox Live's product revenues since the launch of the Xbox 360 at "more than $1 billion."

Taylor Lautner Joining X-Men "Not True"

Is Taylor Lautner, the highest paid teen star on the H'wood block right now, ready to suit up for the new X-Men flick?

Reports claim Lautner, best known for his role as the cuddliest werewolf ever in Eclipse, is being sought out to join James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender in X-Men: First Class, which is set to start shooting this summer.

Hate to break the news to you Team Jacob fans, but...

It's not happening.

Sources close to Taylor tell us it's "not true" that the teen dream is being pursued by Fox to join the über-successful franchise. And we say, shame on it!

This kind of film is a perfect fit for Lautner and his career. After seeing the painful movie that was Valentine's Day (hardly just T.L.'s fault), we think action guy is the ideal role for the mini heartthrob.

The Twilight hunk is already in tip-top shape, we would rather see him kick some ass over solely chasing girls. Sorry, but we're crossing our fingers romantic comedies will not be Taylor's forte (here's hoping Stretch Armstrong makes us forget the Taylor and Taylor Swift awkwardness).

Lindsay Lohan's sentencing: How it might affect her upcoming projects

Lindsay Lohan’s 90-day jail sentence might set production back on some of her upcoming projects. According to the Associated Press, Matthew Wilder — the director behind the Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno — said production will be indeed be delayed, due to Tuesday’s ruling. Wilder, however, insisted he is “100 percent behind Lindsay.” “We are proud to have this remarkable artist work on our film,” he told the Associated Press. (Wilder has yet to respond to EW’s calls for comment.)

And though 20th Century Fox and director Robert Rodriguez declined to comment about how Lohan’s jail sentence might affect the marketing of their upcoming Machete, the production companies behind some of Lohan’s other possible films have admitted that the actress’ July 20 jail date might have a ripple effect behind-the-scenes. John Edmonds Kozma, one of the producers behind Bang Productions and Lost Colony Entertainment’s One Night With You, told EW that production on the film could be pushed back six months to a year, due to Lohan’s sentence. “Now it just comes down to if she could be bonded,” he says. “So things are up in the air, whether we can even make the film. It’s all pending on the outcome. We probably won’t be able to determine anything until she gets out, and see what direction she’s headed at that point.”

David Von Roehm, a producer for The Dry Gulch Kid, told EW that since Lohan was not officially cast in the film yet, the “situation has no bearing on our decisions.” Luck Films — the production company behind Dry Gulch — has no plans to offer Lohan’s role to anyone else, though. “We think she is a great actress and hope her current temporary situation is resolved in time for our production,” Roehm says.

Angelina Jolie: Brad and Kids "Know All My Oddities"

Angelina Jolie once wore a vial of blood around her neck from ex husband Billy Bob Thornton. She made out with her brother James at the Oscars. And she has admitted to cutting herself.

Her partner Brad Pitt and six kids know of her sordid past -- and don't care.

"Brad knows me completely, exactly as I am, every part of me. He loves me," Jolie tells the July 11 issue of Parade magazine. "The kids love me. They know all my flaws and all my oddities. And they accept them. And so I can feel complete."

The Salt star (out Friday), 35, explains her wild past: "I went through a period when I felt my film characters were having more fun than I was. It might partly explain why I ended up tattooed or doing certain extreme things in my life."

By age 16, she had already graduated from Moreno High School in Beverly Hills ("It's where the bad kids go," she explains.) and moved out of her family home. "I was the punk outsider who nobody messed with," she says. "I was fearless."

Jolie goes on, "I used to cut myself or jump out of airplanes, trying to find something new to push up against because sometimes everything else felt too easy. I was searching for something deeper, something more. I tried everything. I always felt caged, closed in, like I was punching at things that weren't there. I always had too much energy for the room I was in."

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green's Wedding Photo Revealed!

Yes, she wore a white wedding dress – and it was Armani!

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were married in an intimate, sunset ceremony June 24 on the beach in Hawaii, with the actor's son, Kassius, 8, their only witness.

The actress, 24, walked down the sandy aisle to meet her groom outside the Four Seasons in Ka'upulehu, and they were wed by a local kahuna, a Hawaiian priest. Kassius (whose mother is Green's ex, Vanessa Marcil) was also the groom's best man, and sported a jade bracelet blessed with ocean water.

Fox's Armani Privé gown featured a 16-ft. train. Her husband also wore an all-white Emporio Armani ensemble for the ceremony.

"They were beyond happy, and they seemed so comfortable," a friend of the couple's tells PEOPLE. "They decided a long time ago that they belonged with each other."

Kim Kardashian Tweets Support of Lindsay Lohan

This is both sweet and nauseating.

In the aftermath of Lindsay Lohan's 90-day jail sentencing yesterday afternoon, Kim Kardashian has Tweeted support of her fellow promiscuous celebrity. She wrote:

Sending positivity your way @LindsayLohan Love you! Everyone please send LL your sweet prayers. U never know when someone really needs it.

No offense to Kim or Lindsay, but we think God has better things to do with His time than answer prayers related to an alcoholic trainwreck who will likely benefit from a stint in jail. Lohan needs some wake up call to turn around her life, doesn't she?

In between sobs and lewd nail painting, Lindsay replied to Kim and Tweeted: “thank you so much @KimKardashian – thanks for being such a good friend, it means a lot to me."

Fortunately for Lohan, she'll meet many new good friends in jail, too. Especially when she drops the soap.

Ars Technica: Android 2.2 JavaScript performance “destroys” that of iOS 4

Ars Technica just pitted Google’s Android 2.2 against Apple’s iOS 4 in a JavaScript benchmark test…and Ars isn’t mincing words with their results. In a post titled ,”Android 2.2 demolishes iOS4 in JavaScript benchmarks,” Ars quipped: “The results show that the Android device delivers significantly faster JavaScript execution than the iPhone, scoring over three times better on V8 and almost twice as fast on SunSpider.” If you’re an Android fan you can go ahead and gloat, but this is exactly why a health mobile ecosystem is good for everyone. When companies — especially two with the resources of Google and Apple — compete, the consumers win.

How-to: Install Flash on your jailbroken iPad (for real)

We just saw Flash 10.1 ported to the iPad demonstrated in video form, and now you can get in on the action too, as long as your iPad is jailbroken. It's called Frash, and while the plugin is still pretty early and doesn't do video playback yet, you can definitely play games and other animations right now, and we're told video support is forthcoming. Okay, so let's try this out, shall we? It's not point-and-click simple, but it's not that hard, either. Full instructions after the break.

Wu Chun's face swollen from being slapped by Rainie

Wu Chun fans’ hearts will surely ache. The handsome and fair-skinned Wu Chun was slapped in the face five to six times by co-star Rainie Yang during the filming of their new drama, “Sunshine Angel 陽光天使.” For the sake of realism, Rainie didn’t hold back, “That day, he turned into a ‘pig head’ (swollen face) after I hit him a couple of times.” And took two days for Wu Chun's face to heal. Furthermore, in another scene where she had to hit Wu Chun’s chest, she hit him so hard that she bruised him. Although Wu Chun went through much physical torture, he often made mistakes in his speech, causing Rainie to be angry. For example, he called Rainie a "busybody" when he wanted to say that she is a "considerate" person.

The drama held their press conference yesterday at Okinawa. Its production cost is around eighty million dollars (NT), and it is a collaboration between Taiwan, China, and Japan. But the media were more interested in Rainie and Wu Chun’s love lives. Wu Chun revealed that he has not dated for 14 years, while Rainie has also been single for almost six years. When Wu Chun was asked if he really has no desire to date, he responded, “I have strong willpower.”

Lady Gaga inspires Grammy rule change

Despite her best efforts, Lady Gaga doesn’t always live by her own rules. At this January’s Grammy Awards, for example, she was excluded from the Best New Artist category because her single “Just Dance” had been nominated the previous year for Best Dance Recording.

But rules are there to be broken. Or at least, in the case of the Recording Academy’s book of laws, they are there to be amended after a suitable period of rumination. In December, Recording Academy President Neil Portnow said of Gaga’s ineligibility, “There will be some changes so that particular scenario won’t repeat itself.” And today, the Academy announced an alteration in their laws which allows acts to be eligible for the Best New Artist category, “if an artist/group is nominated (but does not win) for the release of a single or as a featured artist or collaborator on a compilation or other artist’s album before the artist/group has released an entire album (and becomes eligible in this category for the first time).”

Lindsay Lohan Lets Her Fingernail Do the Talking

Just before being sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation, Lindsay Lohan pleaded with the judge, saying, "I'm not taking this as a joke, it's my life and career. I don't want you to think I don't respect you and your terms."

But the perennially troubled star's hand -- actually her fingernail -- told a different story. Written neatly on the middle finger of her left hand was a crass message, one that doesn't exactly show much "respect" for the court or the judge.

Was her one-finger salute meant for Judge Marsha Revel? We may never know, but given their shared animosity, it's hard to imagine Lohan wouldn't want to send a message in the courtroom.

Lohan may have shown poor judgment in writing such a thing on her nail, but because Revel failed to notice it during the actual hearing, it's highly doubtful she'll get into more trouble for it.

"A finding of contempt of court can be showing disrespect for the judge generally at the time it occurs not after -- or retroactively," attorney, legal expert and author Vikki Ziegler told PopEater. "It would be very difficult to prove that the nail art was intended for the Judge to be disrespectful at the hearing."

Ziegler noted that while it was inappropriate for Lohan to write the expletive on her nail, "I don't believe it rises to level of contempt as legally defined."

The 'Mean Girls' star was calm and collected in the Beverly Hills courtroom until sentencing, but when the judge handed down her decision, it became abundantly clear the actress was unaware how badly her day would end. She even took to Twitter in the early morning to voice her excitement about a sale on Louis Vuitton bags.
