Grammys Winners Complete List ; Beyoncé Is Fierce, but Taylor Swift's Fearless Rules

Beyoncé Knowles and Sasha Fierce almost proved to be an unbeatable team.

The 28-year-old diva collected a field-dominating, record-setting six Grammys tonight, but it was 20-year-old Taylor Swift who was standing tallest at the end of the night, her five-times platinum Fearless a winner for Album of the Year.

"When we're 80 years old and we're telling the same stories over and over to our grandkids and they're so annoyed with us, this is the story we're going to be telling over and over again," she said. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Swift, who entered the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards with a whopping eight nominations, made it out with four wins overall, including Best Country Album and Best Female Vocal Country Performance and Best Country Song, both for "White Horse."

Get the complete list of winners.

Knowles, who came into the night with 10 nominations, set a record for female artists with her half-dozen wins. She had previously been tied with Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Norah Jones and Alison Krauss, each of whom had tallied five Grammys in one ceremony.

"Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" earned three pieces of hardware—Song of the Year, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song—while Knowles' presidential inauguration-approved rendition of "At Last" earned her Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance honors, and "Halo" was the top Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens Courted For “Spider-Man 4″

Zac Efron is set take over the role of Peter Parker in the next Spider Man feature, a well-placed source at Universal Pictures blabbed to Britain’s Daily Star on Sunday.

The High School Musical sweetheart will replace Tobey Maguire, 34, in the fourth blockbuster movie, due to start shooting later this year and scheduled to hit cinemas in 2012, according to the new report.

Universal stunned film fans late last year when the studio announced that it was firing the cast of the megabucks franchise and working on a script that would send Spidey back to high school. Producers of the Spider-Man franchise believe 22-year-old Zac –who has a huge teen following thanks to work with Disney — will bring a new, younger fanbase to the Spider-Man series.

Have you seen the behind-the-scenes photos of Lady Gaga and Beyonce on the set of their forthcoming video collabo, “Telephone?” According to Lady-GaGa.net, the video features prison-themed and will see “Sasha Fierce” busting the “Bad Romance” hitmaker out of jail with the help of a fully-equipped vehicle called “The Pussy Wagon!”

Steve Jobs: Google's "Don't Be Evil" Mantra is "Bulls***"

During that Apple town hall meeting we mentioned earlier this week CEO Steve Jobs reportedly had some choice words regarding Google that left little doubt about how the outspoken executive sees the competition. Updated.

That "Don't be evil" slogan Google's known for? "Bullshit" Jobs said, after which he was reportedly rewarded with a big round of applause from the gathered throng of Apple employees.

Also about Google, Jobs said that company "entered the phone business. Make no mistake they want to kill the iPhone. We won't let them."

Jobs also singled out Adobe, calling the company "lazy" because, in his opinion, "they have all this potential to do interesting things but they just refuse to do it." Jobs also criticized Flash for being buggy. When a Mac crashes, it's usually because of Flash, he reportedly told the crowd. "The world is moving to HTML5", he said.

Big Bang Working On ‘Lollipop 2′ Project with new partner!

It’s a great day for Big Bang fans because it has just been announced that Big Bang will be collaborating with LG CYON Electronics to return with a “Lollipop 2,” sometime in the beginning of February 2010!

Very little information has been revealed but it’s understood that Big Bang will be taking on a new concept, which will be a ’sweeter’ image as opposed to a colorful one.

Lady Gaga and Elton John Glitter for Grammy Duet

Lady Gaga opened up the Grammy Awards with her usual (or perhaps unusual) style with a green glittery dress, shoulder pads and high heels. The high-energy 'Poker Face' performance was short and as previously reported, the song switched over to her duet with Elton John. Both he and Gaga were pushed out on stage to duet with dueling pianos to 'Speechless' and 'Your Song.' Both emerged with large, sparkly glasses with faces painted in what looked to be ash. The two traded off verses at times, while simultaneously playing the piano. Watch their performance:

Kristen Bell Is Engaged to Dax Shepard!

Kristen Bell is engaged to Dax Shepard, her rep confirms to UsMagazine exclusively.

Shepard, 35, proposed over the holidays, a source tells Us.

Bell, 29, debuted her ring on the red carpet of the Grammys Sunday night.

The couple first stepped out publicly in January 2008.

Bell detailed her perfect date night with Shepard in the November issue of Women's Health.

"There is almost nothing, barring a natural disaster, that I would let eat into my time at home, playing Scrabble with Dax or talking to my girlfriends," she said.

She joked that they were competitive while filming romantic comedy When in Rome, currently in theaters.

"We were trying to one-up each other," she said. "That's what we do at home, too. It's like, 'Wait – watch me do this funny bit.' 'No, watch me do this funny bit!."

The secret to their relationship?

Zhang Ziyi Makes First Public Appearance since Scandal

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi has returned to the public eye at a New Year's party for Chinese entertainment industry professionals in Beijing on January 31 after a a personal scandal last month.

Zhang cracked a smile when she was invited onstage at the party for a formal champagne toast alongside veteran actresses Yu Lan and Xu Fan. Most of the time, Zhang seemed in low spirits and spoke with emotional overtones, saying, "It is so not easy in the movie industry," according to a "Beijing News" report.

The party was jointly organized by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) and the movie channel of China Central Television. Other big stars included actors Yan Ni, Hao Lei, Zhang Yuqi and pop singers Alan Tam and Li Yuchun.

Zhang was involved in a scandal involding money, friendship and a love affair in January and was later questioned for allegedly not fulfilling donation promises to help those affected by the Sichuan earthquake in 2008.

Actress Gigi Lai two months pregnant

Former actress Gigi Lai who changed her name and consulted a celebrity fertility specialist in hopes of getting a child, is now two months pregnant.

According to Hong Kong media, Lai was overjoyed when she found out she was pregnant and messaged her close friends about it.

"This time, we finally struck. I am so happy. My husband is so anxious and tells me to be careful," said Lai in her text message.

39-year-old Lai and wealthy businessman Patrick Ma, who is 14 years her senior, tied the knot last January. The couple love children but it was not easy for a woman of Lai's age to conceive, so Lai had pulled out all the stops in a bid to make it happen.

She changed her name to "Li Jia Er" - which sounds the same phonetically as the phrase "adding a son", on the advice of her geomancer, who said it would increase her chances of getting pregnant.

Mac OS X 10.3 installed on Nokia N900 via PearPC, barely usable for impatient geeks

Curious folks around the world enjoy a bit of hackintosh every now and then (although once is enough for many), but no geek has successfully ventured as far as Toni Nikkanen of Finland, who became the first person to run OS X on a phone -- the Nokia N900. As you can see in the video after the break, Toni's hack relies on PearPC -- a PowerPC emulator -- to install good ol' OS X 10.3 (Panther), but the mammoth sluggishness means it's far from usable. Still, if you can spare 90 minutes for each boot-up plus plenty more for the snail-paced cursor, then head to the source to learn from Herra Nikkanen.

Dragon Age 2 Will Look "Super Hot"

Don't despair if the graphics of Dragon Age: Origins turn you off, BioWare intends to pump them up in the future.

Without question, BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins is a well made game with a very deep story, but a segment of the gaming population has voiced complaints about its graphics. BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk says that the company is going to do something about that for the sequel, as he told Joystiq: "I can confirm that we're doing a lot of work on the Dragon Age engine, and doing a lot of stuff to pump it -- to make it visually super hot."

I'm one of the lucky ones that was able to play Dragon Age as it should be played, on a PC, so I don't have any major complaints about the game's graphics, though they didn't blow me into next week. The majority of people's issues with the graphics stem from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions instead. Mass Effect 2's graphics, on the other hand, are very impressive on the PC.

Mass Effect 2 a huge hit after just 4 days

Electronic Arts is (unsurprisingly) declaring Mass Effect 2 a huge success, citing "rave reviews," and the fact that it has sold-in over 2 million units worldwide in its first week of release.

BioWare co-founder Dr. Ray Muzyka said today that "Mass Effect 2 is poised to be one of the biggest games of 2010. We could not be more proud of the game's universal acclaim and early commercial success." According to Electronic Arts' own internal data (note, this has not yet been verified) the game has sold-in (not sold through) "over 2 million copies worldwide." While this does not indicate copies that have made it into consumers' hands, it does reflect the willingness of retail to order the game; a good barometer of early success.

Best & Worst of the Grammys: Pink's Spray and Foxx's Auto-Tune Overload

So many performances, so many speeches, so much screen time! And that's just the Black Eyed Peas!

Find out what were the hottest, worstest and most memorable moments of the night:

Best Opening Shot: Lady Gaga performed, played piano with Elton John and finished without leaving blood or severed body parts onstage. Sad. She used to care about her art.

Worst Edit: The producers cut off the winners during the first speech of the night. How do they expect to fill a three-and-a-half-hour show?

Best Political Decision: Stephen Colbert was funnier on the red carpet with Ryan Seacrest than he was kicking off the show. But at least he didn't announce his daughter was available.

Least Effective Coup Attempt: Beyoncé took over the auditorium with the help of an army of jackbooted security. That's one way to hold an audience hostage.

It's Funky and Low in Calories: Pink's dramatic, high-flying trapeze act left a spray of singer-flavored liquid spraying over Staples Center. Pink Bull, anyone?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie quash split rumours as they step out together at Directors Guild of America Awards

They were rumoured to have consulted lawyers over custody of their six children and dividing their £205million fortune.

But last night, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie proved they were still very much an item as they attended the Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles.

While declining to pose together on the red carpet at the star-studded bash, the couple were seen being 'extremely affectionate' as they mingled with their peers.

Pitt had been invited to the ceremony to present his Inglourious Basterds director Quentin Tarantino with a plaque for being nominated for the Outstanding Directional Achievement in Feature Film, which was won by Kathryn Bigelow.

Britney's Grammy Return: Lots of Skin!

Britney Spears?! Fancy seeing you here. And with your new man, Jason Trawick, no less.

Sure, we realize "Womanizer" was up for Best Dance Recording tonight, so your appearance was totally understandable, but it's been eight long years since you graced the Grammys with your presence!

Which makes this bodysuit and Dolce & Gabbana dress combo a bit of a letdown. Seriously, when that much time has elapsed between Grammy getups, you would think that you'd want to make the most of the situation.

Mind you, we're not expecting you to match the magic of 10 years ago, Brit, but a little more effort would have been appreciated.

Well, there's always next year. Or eight years from now. Whichever comes first.

Paris, Prince Jackson Pay Tribute To Michael Jackson At Grammys

MJ's children were joined onstage by cousins to accept the award on behalf of the late King of Pop.

Despite Michael Jackson's constant shielding of his children from the spotlight during his lifetime, his kids have proven to be adept at handling their public appearances since their father passed away last year.

Prince and Paris Jackson accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the late King of Pop at the 2010 Grammy Awards. The pair sported red sashes on their arms to honor MJ and spoke in measured, well-mannered tones as the audience gave them standing ovations. They were joined onstage by a number of their cousins after Lionel Richie introduced the group following a star-studded performance of MJ's "Earth Song."

Stephen Colbert rocks the Grammys with an Apple iPad

We didn’t think we’d see an iPad surface so soon… If you were keeping up with the Grammys, you were probably just as shocked as we were when Stephen Colbert pulled one out to present Song of the Year. And of course, the iPad’s cameo wouldn’t be complete without a little gloating from Colbert himself. “Jay Z, did you not get one of these in your gift bag? Am I cooler than you?!” Bravo, Stephen Colbert. Hit the break for a video clip.

Why My Mom’s Next Computer Is Going To Be An iPad

The Internet is a funny place. After Apple announced its new iPad, I cringed at the hate being directed its way on sites such as Slashdot and Digg. Even the guys at Penny Arcade, whom I normally agree with, said “that iPad presentation had to be the worst thing I’ve even seen on on the Apple stage” and that Apple had failed to make a case for the device.

If you believe them, the iPad is going to be a massive flop.

Well, the unwashed masses on the Internet also predicted that the iPod would be a failure. They were wrong then, and they are wrong now.

The iPad is a computer for people who don’t like computers. People who don’t like the idea of upgrading their 3D drivers, or adjusting their screen resolution, or installing new memory. Who don’t understand why their computer gets slower and slower the longer they own it, who have 25 icons in their system tray and have to wait ten minutes for their system to boot up every day.

Amazon agrees to higher prices in Macmillan dispute

Amazon said Sunday that, while it still believes a $14.99 price tag for e-books is "needlessly high," it will have to give in to Macmillan's demands to sell electronic versions of its books at a higher rate than Amazon's usual $9.99.

The announcement comes after Amazon temporarily pulled Macmillan books from its Web site in a dispute over e-book pricing. Macmillan and other book publishers have asked Amazon to increase the sales price of e-books on its Web site. But Amazon stood firm in its contention that anything above $9.99 was too high--that is until now.

"We have expressed our strong disagreement and the seriousness of our disagreement by temporarily ceasing the sale of all Macmillan titles," Amazon's statement read. "We want you to know that ultimately, however, we will have to capitulate and accept Macmillan's terms because Macmillan has a monopoly over their own titles, and we will want to offer them to you even at prices we believe are needlessly high for e-books."

Apple's entrance into gaming market drives consumers to PSP

Um, okay? Just days after Apple introduced its exceedingly underwhelming iPad while simultaneously attempting to convince that masses that said product was the portable gaming device they had been waiting their whole lives for, Sony's own hardware marketing honcho has come forward and extolled Cupertino's decision to finally make the gaming leap. In a recent interview, John stated the following:

"Apple's entrance into the portable gaming space has been a net positive for Sony. When people want a deeper, richer console, they start playing on a PSP."

Ynot to take legal action against C.N.BLUE

Rookie band C.N.BLUE seemed quite offended by the plagiarism allegations made earlier this month, but the band Ynot isn’t backing down so easily.

Last week, similarities between Ynot’s Blue Bird and C.N.BLUE’s I’m a Loner were drawn, gathering much attention. Ynot has officially announced that they will take action against I’m a Loner’s composer & songwriter Kim Do Hoon and Lee Sang Ho.

Ju Mong, the vocal of Ynot and songwriter of Blue Bird, released a press statement on behalf of Ynot on February 1st that said,

Nothing Change, Avatar Still On Top Box Office

Is there nothing, or no one who can challenge Avatar? Well, other than Porky's?

James Cameron's box-office streamroller flattened the returning Mel Gibson to claim its seventh straight box-office win. One more, and it'll tie three other films, including the aforementioned Porky's, for the sixth-longest stay at No. 1.

Avatar grossed an estimated $30 million Friday-Sunday, and handily led Gibson's Edge of Darkness ($17.1 million) and Kristen Bell's When in Rome ($12.5 million). More details:

Miss America 2010 Is Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron

Here she is….Miss America 2010. Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron was crowned the nation’s Miss America as host Mario Lopez and a panel of judges — which included conservative Rush Limbaugh — looked on during the 2010 Miss America Pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Wearing a bright yellow satin gown and stunning chandelier earrings, the powerhouse singer edged out first runner-up Miss California Kristy Cavinder for the coveted crown after she wowed with a performance of Beyonce’s 2006 Dreamgirls hit, “Listen.”

8.9-inch ExoPC Slate has iPad looks, netbook internals, Windows 7 soul

Yes, we realize that it's hard to provide too much visual differentiation between tablet PCs with large, ebony bezels, but we can't help but think that this 8.9-inch multitouch tablet looks a lot like another, recently announced 9.7-inch multitouch tablet. Nevertheless this one's quite different on the inside, delivering "the web without compromise," meaning full browser support with flash courtesy of Windows 7 on an Atom N270 at 1.6GHz, with 2GB of DDR2 memory and a 32GB SSD with SD expansion. Yeah, those specs are familiar too, and while we're not thinking this will deliver the sort of snappy performance seen on the iPad, it will certainly be a lot more functional. Battery life is only four hours, but at last it user-replaceable, and a price of $599 matches the 32GB iPad. Likewise it will be available in March -- or you can get a non-multitouch prototype for $780 right this very moment. If, that is, you speak enough French to manage the order page.

How to make the iPad a better music device

I was at Apple's iPad launch on Wednesday, and maybe it was just Steve Jobs' reality distortion field, but I don't quite understand why the haters are piling on. A lot of PC-centric commentators are dismissing the iPad as an overpriced gadget, wondering why it's lacking features that are standard on even the cheapest notebook computers, like Flash support, multitasking, USB inputs to connect peripherals, and video outputs (HDMI would be nice). These are legitimate complaints--for a notebook replacement. But the iPad isn't a notebook replacement, and I don't think users will carry it with them on business trips. (Apple's iWork demo confused matters, admittedly.)

Instead, I agree with CNET's Ina Fried and Business Insider's Henry Blodget: this is a consumer electronics device for puttering around the house and leisure time--reading books and Web sites on the couch, showing pictures off to friends, catching up on the latest Web videos. And, yes, listening to music.

Hae Lim’s friend raps on her behalf, Wonderful retaliates

A week ago, JYP Entertainment revealed that Sunmi would be postponing her musical career for her studies. Since then, a new member has been introduced by the official name of Lim (Hae Lim). Her debut with the Wonder Girls is scheduled to be in February but there are some fans opposing this decision. In retaliation to haters, a guy by the name of Jam In, who claims to be Hae Lim’s friend, took the Nobody instrumental and performed a supportive rap for her as he attacked Wonderfuls.

Ella feels best when she kisses Jerry Yan

"Down With Love" will be telecast this evening at 10 pm. Accordingly to [Shi Bao Magazine Vol 1667], Ella is most proud of her on-screen kiss with Jerry Yan, despite having kissed many male idols in her past serials and joked, “To have kissed such a big handsome idol, I’ve really gotten a big advantage!” Since starring in idol drama serials, she has on-screen kisses with Blue Lan, Jerry Huang, Wu Chun etc. However it was the on-screen kiss with Jerry that she felt was the most real, with emotions, natural and at ease.

She shared on her past kissing scenes, “The kiss with Wu Chun in [Hana Kimi] was one for funny effects. The kiss with Jerry (Huang) in [The Rose] felt dreamy and unreal. My first on-screen kiss was in [Magical Love] with Blue Lan. During then, I was a pack of nerves.” She was also in the disguise of a boy in her on-screen kiss with Wu Chun, hence it was like a “boy-boy-kiss”.

Rihanna steals the show in huge ruffles at party to celebrate tonight's Grammy Awards

If Rihanna wanted to appear a strong and confident woman at his year's pre-Grammys party, she certainly succeeded last night.

It was after last year's event that she had the infamous argument with then-boyfriend Chris Brown, which ended with her beaten black and blue - and him facing five years of probation and a year of counselling.

Motorola Backflip (ME600) available now – but only in China

Expected to be launched soon in the US, as AT&T’s first Android phone, the Motorola Backflip is already available in China – where Moto also has Android devices like the XT800 and MT710.

The Backflip appears as Motorola ME600 on Moto China’s website, and it costs 4,298 Chinese yuan unlocked (an 8GB memory card and a car charger are included in this price) – that’s about $629, so AT&T will probably (hopefully) sell the phone for $200 or less on contract.

The features of Motorola Backflip ME600 include a 320 x 480 pixels touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi (and WAPI), GPS, full QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP autofocus camera, and Android with MotoBlur.

BioWare: "Our best work is still ahead of us"

BioWare's best work is "still ahead of us", says co-boss Ray Muzyka.

Speaking to CVG in London this week, Muzyka said the developer's up for the challenge of topping stellar sequel Mass Effect 2, which has received universal acclaim from the press.

"The way we approach it is that each game has to be better than the last one," Muzyka told CVG. "That's always been true for the last 20 years we've been doing this, that's just what we do. It's kind of in our culture now.

"I think the team finds it reassuring that you've done something good, you've got great sales, great critical success, but they're driven by making the next thing even better. That's what drives me."

Muzyka said he hasn't thought about how hard it's going to be to top the latest game, but he certainly sounds up for the challenge.

Amazon pulled Macmillan titles due to price conflict -- confirmed

Macmillan's US CEO, John Sargent just confirmed that Amazon pulled its inventory of Macmillan books in a powerful response to Macmillan's new pricing demands. Macmillan offered the new pricing on Thursday, just a day after Apple announced Macmillan as a major publishing partner in its new iBookstore -- a revelation that certainly factored into the discussions along with Skiff and other emerging e-book distribution and publishing models. During the meeting with Amazon in Seattle, Sargent outlined what he calls an "agency model" that will go into effect in early March. Under the terms offered, if Amazon chose to stay with its existing terms of sale then it would suffer "extensive and deep windowing of titles." Amazon's hardball response was to pull all of Macmillan's titles from its Kindle site and Amazon.com by the time Sargent arrived back in New York.

Leonardo da Vinci's Resume Explains Why He's The Renaissance Man For the Job

At one time in history, even da Vinci himself had to pen a resume to explain why he was a qualified applicant. Here's a translation of his letter to the Duke of Milan, delineating his many talents and abilities.

The large-scale demonstration that 2PM fans have planned to do did not happen eventually.

2PM fanclub Hottest released an announcement on 30th January, “Coming 31st January at 2PM we will be holding a demonstration to request JYP Entertainment for JaeBum to not be withdrawn from 2PM.” And there were plans that the demonstration will take place in Seoul, CheonAhn, DaeGoo etc.
