Hae Lim’s friend raps on her behalf, Wonderful retaliates

A week ago, JYP Entertainment revealed that Sunmi would be postponing her musical career for her studies. Since then, a new member has been introduced by the official name of Lim (Hae Lim). Her debut with the Wonder Girls is scheduled to be in February but there are some fans opposing this decision. In retaliation to haters, a guy by the name of Jam In, who claims to be Hae Lim’s friend, took the Nobody instrumental and performed a supportive rap for her as he attacked Wonderfuls.

The chorus is beyond cheesy, his rapping is novice at best, and his “Engrish” makes it difficult to take him seriously, no matter how many ‘f-bombs’ he drops. If you don’t understand Korean, here’s the basic wrap-up: Jam In is basically saying that the Wonderfuls aren’t being fair to Hae Lim as he lists qualities about the girl that he finds wonderful. He never directly attacks Sunmi or disses her until the end when he says, “And truthfully, she’s prettier than Sunmi.”

Jam In definitely brings up interesting points that fans have been saying about Hae Lim, but the cursing and obvious anger comes off as an immature rant. It is true that we should respect Sunmi’s decision to leave and gracefully welcome Hae Lim with open arms, but if he truly is her friend, did he think about whether she would appreciate an explicit rap to be made in her name?

In response to Hae Lim’s friend, a fan of Sunmi retaliated by making his own rap to the instrumental beat of 50 cent’s Disco Inferno.

This fan’s rap defends Sunmi somewhat but mainly attacks Jam In himself. He ends the rap by saying, “I’ll just say one more thing. Truthfully, Sunmi’s prettier you stupid–”

So who do you think won this unofficial Wonder Girls rap battle?
