Tiger and Elin Woods: A Portrait of Happiness

Tiger Woods and his estranged wife Elin have been doing everything they can to work out their issues, even after he so blatantly lost his way in recent years.

By lost his way, we mean he lost his pants. In the presence of pretty much any cocktail waitress that caught his eye. All while married with two little children.

While a dozen Tiger Woods mistresses coming out of the woodwork is difficult to forgive and impossible to forget, their family life is getting back to normal.

Earlier this month, Elin moved back in to begin the process of rebuilding their marriage and Tiger's image. Now they've made it a whole week under one roof!

'Alice' dominates; 'Remember Me' unlikely to cross $10 million

Box office numbers are in for Friday and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is dominating for a second straight weekend. The 3-D extravaganza starring Johnny Depp earned an estimated $17.5 million for its second Friday in theaters. On track now for a 57 percent drop, the PG-rated film is expected to earn around $58 million for the weekend and is likely to post a $200 million cumulative gross after 10 days.

The rest of the top five is led by new releases, with director Paul Greengrass’ The Green Zone the best performer of the bunch. But that’s not saying much. The $100 million Iraq war drama starring Matt Damon grossed an estimated $5 million on its first day in theaters. The weak bow should extrapolate to $15 million for the first three days. Third place will likely belong to Robert Pattinson’s romantic drama Remember Me. The inexpensive film co-starring Pierce Brosnan grossed an estimated $3.5 million on Friday, putting it on track to earn more than $9 million for the weekend.

The No. 4 spot four likely go to the R-rated comedy She’s Out of My League. The film grossed just over $3 million on Friday for a projected weekend take of $9 million. And No. 5 should belong to Our Family Wedding, whose $2.5 million Friday gross is likely to translate into $8 million by Sunday. Check back tomorrow for a full report.

Apple iPad Sells 120,000 Units Total on Friday

The iPad went on pre-order status on Friday, and from early estimates, the tablet has taken on quite the success. While we’re still waiting to see some end of the weekend numbers, we’re pretty sure that the Cupertino-based company can take some solace in the fact that the tablet has been a success. Of course, in situations like this, numbers generally speak louder than words.

So, how’s it break down? From what we can tell, just after the first day, Apple reached somewhere in the ball park of 120,000 tablets sold. As it goes, it looks like the WiFi-only version of the iPad was the largest seller, and we’re likely to think that has something to do with the simple fact that it’s due out on April 3rd. Another shocker though, is that it’s also looking like the orders for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models were just about equally split. So, while cost may have something to do with it, for the most part it’s looking like customers just don’t mind dropping the extra coin for the extra space.

Google '99.9 percent' sure to shutter Google.cn

Google, seemingly torn between Chinese censorship and Chinese opportunity, is now "99.9 percent" certain that it will shut down its Chinese search engine, Google.cn.

According to a Financial Times source "familiar with the company's thinking," the search giant, having reached an apparent impasse with the Chinese government officials, has drafted detailed plans to close the Chinese search business, though it remains optimistic about finding a way to maintain its overall operations in China.

For Google, which, amid an investigation into alleged Chinese hacking of prominent U.S. Web properties, expressed in January that it no longer intends to run a censored search engine in China, staying in China after shuttering Google.cn could involve enabling its Chinese sales, software development, and research operations to remain intact.

Following rumors: after Qiao En finished filming [Easy Fortune Happy Life], she began a relationship with Roy Qiu. However, after she finished filming Jia Qi Ru Meng in Mainland China, Qiao En had many secret meetings with directors from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to fulfill her dream of becoming a movie star. It looks like Qiao En’s schedule for the second half of 2010 is already full with movie contracts. As it is harder for Qiao En to meet with Roy Qiu, they have not have contact for a long time. There must be a rift between the two as well since many of their friends did not support this pairing.
