Lindsay Lohan's Porn Star Biopic Poster Unveiled

Lindsay Lohan – who's been juggling movie premieres, nightclubbing and court hearings – sure knows how to take the attention off her legal woes: By releasing a set of racy movie posters for the upcoming biopic Inferno, in which she'll play infamous porn star Linda Lovelace, star of 1972’s Deep Throat.

Celeb photographer Tyler Shields, a favorite among the young Hollywood set, took the pictures of Lohan. He tells PEOPLE, "Lindsay is amazing to work with we have done it a few times and each time it gets better!"

The sexy photos depict a brunette Lohan (she went blonde this week) in various states of undress striking sultry poses. The images are in stark contrast to paparazzi photos of Lohan on Wednesday, showing her wearing wide-leg jeans to cover the alcohol monitoring bracelet she's now required to wear. No word yet on whether the bracelet will interfere with her filming schedule.

Meet the Next Megan Fox: Transformers' New Angel

Nothing like a former Victoria's Secret lingerie model to get Optimus primed.

Multiple sources confirm to E! News that model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will be replacing the MIA Megan Fox as Shia LaBeouf's love interest in Transformers 3.

"She's accepted the offer, and I think they're just waiting for her to get her work visa since she's British," says a source close to the production.

And, as usual when it comes to a Michael Bay explosionfest, hotness wins out over talent...

See, Huntington-Whiteley has never acted before. But she did work with Transformers helmer Bay last year on a Victoria's Secret commercial—and apparently the two hit it off.

"Michael Bay has flown her out here a few times to screen test," says another production insider.

Box Office Weekend : Will Sex And the City Take Over Prince Of Peria?

Who knew Memorial Day weekend would be your chance to travel to the Middle East? Such is the case with the box office fare Hollywood has provided us this holiday weekend. The weekend’s outcome will be determined by which desert-set film you choose: Go the testosterone action-adventure route and Jake Gyllenhaal’s video game adaptation Prince of Persia wins your vote. Or if you’re in the mood for designer clothes set against an Arabian back drop, choose the Sex and the City girls, who are at it again, this time in Morocco, thinly veiled as Abu Dhabi. Either way, Hollywood is looking for a big weekend to bolster the soft summer start at the movies. Read on for my predictions for the four-day holiday frame.

1. Shrek Forever After: $50 million

The final chapter in the $1 billion franchise didn’t perform as well as its predecessors, but that doesn’t mean Shrek Forever After won’t perform solidly its second weekend in theaters. With young kids aged out of PG-13 rated Prince of Persia, and Sex and the City likely to generate a good chunk of the box office on Thursday night, expect families to dominate the box office this weekend with their first choice Shrek.

Microsoft Plans for 30 Million Windows Phone 7 Devices to be Sold by End of 2011

Can we say “lofty?” We’ve barely got developers getting their hands on Windows Phone 7 prototype devices, and here we are seeing Microsoft setting a goal for themselves that, for all intents and purposes, might seem pretty far-fetched to anyone not on the Windows Phone 7 team. Sure, there’s some glaring reasons why that may not (probably won’t) happen, but at least we have to give this one to Microsoft: they sure know how to dream.

Microsoft took the time to show off some slides over in Paris yesterday, at a ReMix event, and one of them shows that the Redmond-based company wants to sell 30 million Windows Phone 7 devices by the end of 2011. These are based on IDC projections, which seem to suggest that they’re as crazy as Microsoft. The truth is, there aren’t any devices slated to be released to the public for several months (by the end of the year, and some time probably in the holiday season), which gives Microsoft only a year, give or take a few months, to reach that lofty goal.

AT&T: 40% of iPhones are sold to enterprise

Security concerns be damned, the iPhone is selling like hotcakes when it come to business users, said AT&T business solutions CEO Ron Spears. While attending a Barclay’s Capital Communications event today, Spears was asked how businesses are taking to the iPhone some three years after its launch. The answer, according to Spears, is very, very well. By his estimates, a whopping 40% of iPhones sold by AT&T go straight into the hands of corporate folk. All of this despite the fact that the iPhone OS is nowhere near as secure as corporate staple BlackBerry. But to this Spears pointed out that most CIOs are okay with having iPhones in their midst and that, for some companies, they’re even huge money savers being able to replace laptops. Here’s what Spears said in his own words:

Megan Fox Quit ‘Transformers 3′ Over Money?

MEGAN Fox was paid just $800,000 to star in the blockbuster movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen — a salary that paled in comparison to that of her costar Shia LaBeouf.

Megan’s pay, coupled with the way she was treated by director Michael Bay, is why the star decided to quit the third film in the franchise, insiders say.

“Megan only got $800,000 for Transformers 2,” a source told E! News.

“I heard her say she only got $800,000 several times, and, I guarantee you, that’s why she didn’t do the third one. She wanted more money.

“[Megan] would constantly complain about having to go to work, she never wanted to do it.

“Bay would constantly scream at her. He would scream at everyone, but especially Megan. Imagine a really, really bitchy grandmother on the set, and that’s what Michael Bay is like.”

Hey, American Idol Fans, Can You Please Stop Voting for the Same Guy?

Has anyone ever seen David Cook, Kris Allen and Lee DeWyze on the same stage?

We're only half-joking. Of course, we saw Allen and DeWyze together on the American Idol finale. (The MIA Cook was at a charity event in Kansas City, Mo.) But come on. Enough with logic and logistics. We've got a serious problem here.

America, you just voted the Idol title to the same guy. For the third straight year.

This is the part where the ostensive trio's respective followings cry foul and go on about how their David sounds nothing like Kris or how their Lee sounds nothing like David and so on. And they're right. If you're into David Cook, we bet you can distinguish his mid-tempo, quasi-inspirational number from Allen's and from the U2 cover ("Beautiful Day") new champ DeWyze will record any minute now.

SNSD and Super Junior outsells everyone with over 100k albums sold

With June almost upon us and half of 2010 gone, it was revealed that SNSD and Super Junior are the only K-pop singers who have sold in excess of 100k albums offline.

According to figures released by Hanteo of albums sold between January 1st – May 26th in 2010, SNSD are top of the best-selling list with their Oh! album which was released in January 28th, selling 117,077 copies.

Super Junior meanwhile has accumulated 106,891 album sales and comes in second place after their SM sister group. But their achievement is really remarkable especially when they only just released their BONAMANA album on May 13th.

Huang Xiao Ming and Angelababy’s 48 Hour Rendezvous

Since August 2009, Huang Xiao Ming has been romantically linked with model, Angelababy. The pair never admitted their relationship publicly. On May 20th, while filming The Orphan of Chao "赵氏孤儿", Xiao Ming secretly met with Angelababy in Hong Kong. The next day, Angelababy arrived in Beijing on a business trip and spent the night with Xiao Ming.

Lingering in the Chaoyang District in Beijing for forty-eight hours, Xiao Ming had to appear in Wuhan on May 22th for an endorsement deal. Immediately after the event, Xiao Ming flew back to Beijing to see Iron Man 2 with Angelababy. A reporter spotted Angelababy and Xiao Ming (who was wearing a white mask) at the movie theater. Despite running into the media, Angelababy smiled calmly.

Xiao Ming was taken aback when he saw the reporter. Perhaps he did not want to be officially linked to one girlfriend and give up other female “friends;” Xiao Ming said to the reporter, “Can I buy them [referring to the photos]? You can set a price and I will buy them!”

Microsoft considers a Zune Pass price drop

Zune Pass already felt like a pretty sweet deal for music buffs -- $15 per month for unlimited streaming and 10 DRM-free MP3s -- and now Microsoft might be lowering the subscription price even further. Or so says Senior Product Manager Terry Farrell, who added, "it's a very definitely a challenging business." No indication what that new price might be, but just this past April, RealNetwork dropped Rhapsody's monthly fee from $15 to $10. If it does come to fruition, the new price would surely be a welcome boon to an already-promising Windows Phone 7 launch -- and maybe even Kin. Maybe.

Sandra Bullock: Fooled By Jesse James' Lies?!

Along with blaming cheating on past child abuse he suffered, Jesse James told Nightline that a divorce from Sandra Bullock may be inevitable, but he doesn't want to.

Might he still be working passive-aggressively to stop her?

According to celebrity gossip magazine, he's still fighting in hopes of a reconciliation - and has been putting his kids to work on his behalf! Calculated guilt trips = classy.

Knowing how close his will-be-ex became to Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6, during their nearly five-year marriage, he's been encouraging them all to "let Sandra know how much they miss her," the actress' friend shares.

James "phoned Sandra and claimed Sunny was running a fever and asked if he should bring her to the doctor," says a friend who adds that it wasn't a one-time thing.

"Sunny tells her she misses her and misses Louis," as well. Talk about going all out to break Sandra's heart, or at the very least make her feel bad. Win-win, really.

ABC Passes on Ghost Whisperer

Ghost Whisperer has officially crossed over.

The long-running Jennifer Love Hewitt drama — which was axed by CBS last week — will not be jumping to ABC after all.

Executive producers Ian Sander and Kim Moses confirmed the news via the following statement: “After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce Ghost Whisperer will not be returning for a sixth season. We’ve had an incredible experience and owe a debt of gratitude to everyone involved. We continue our relationship with ABC Studios and look forward to developing many more successful projects together in the future.”

A rep for ABC Studios, which co-owns the show with CBS, declined to comment.

Qik charging $5 monthly for EVO 4G video chat?

Last we thought, that mandatory $10 "premium data add-on" for Sprint's EVO 4G would additionally include YouTube and Qik video chat, and well, we may have been only half right. The gang at Android Guys have what's alleged to be a scan from Sprint's training materials, and according to one image, Qik's gonna cost you another $4.99 monthly via PayPal (not through the carrier) to use. We've reached out to see if we can confirm, but if true, it's a bit of a bummer to see the premiums continuing to add up. At least Fring's Skype video is still free, and as you can see in the video after the break, it works pretty well.

AdMob: iPhone OS outnumbers Android 2:1 in the US

According to AdMob’s April 2010 Mobile Metrics Report, the number of iPhone OS devices in the US outnumber the amount of Android devices by a ratio of 2:1. AdMob estimates that for all of the 8.7 million Android smartphones in the US, there are 10.7 million iPhones and 18.3 million iPads and iPod touches. Worldwide, AdMob reports that there are 11.6 million Android devices compared to 27.4 million iPhones and 13.4 million iPads and iPod touches. Perhaps the most interesting facet of AdMobs report is just where the distribution of each OS is most prevalent. 75% of Android devices are found in North America, compared to 12% in Asia and 11% in Western Europe. The iPhone proved to be most popular in North America with 49%, followed by Western Europe at 28% and Asia at 14%. Switching gears, the largest number of ad requests the world over came from iPhone OS devices with 42%, down from 46% last month. Android stood still at 25%, while Symbian and RIM took up the third and fourth positions with 2% and 1% gains. In the United States, Android bested the iPhone OS for the second time having not moved from its 46% share. iPhone OS traffic dropped to 38%, while third place RIM gained 2% with a total of 7%. Palm’s webOS held firm at 3%.

James McAvoy Playing Professor X in "X-Men" Film

James McAvoy has joined the cast of "X-Men: First Class," a prequel to Fox's superhero trilogy.

The British actor, last in theaters with "The Last Station," will play a young Charles Xavier, a.k.a. Professor X, a role originated by Patrick Stewart in the preceding films.

According to Fox, "First Class" will "chart the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were the closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men."

Patrick Stewart's character was a bald, wheelchair-bound telepath. Fox did not say if McAvoy would sport a follicle-free pate.

The studio is moving fast on the production, hiring director Matthew Vaughn in early May and planning a summer start in London. The movie is set for a June 3, 2011, release.

Emma Roberts Join Scream 4

With filming set to begin at the end of June, Weinstein’s Dimension Films is furiously putting its Scream 4 cast together. Young upstart Emma Roberts is set to join the ensemble team of Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell. And while the script from Kevin Williamson is being kept under wraps, sources tell EW.com that Roberts is expected to play Jill, one of the film’s primary heroines. Scream 4 returns to Woodsboro, the home of Sidney Prescott (Campbell). And Roberts will play a role similar to Campbell’s star-turning one in the original.

“I’m so excited to be part of this ground-breaking franchise,” says Roberts, who’s best known for playing Nancy Drew and last year’s Hotel for Dogs. “It’s the perfect opportunity for me to do something completely different than I’ve ever done before.” Director/producer Wes Craven adds, “Emma’s talent, beauty, and range will add immensely to the sophistication, intensity, and fun of the Scream franchise as it returns to the screen once more.”

The three Scream movies have generated close to $300 million domestically. This latest iteration will shoot in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan beginning June 28.

Alicia Keys Is Pregnant!

Big news from Alicia Keys: she's going to be a mom!

Following much speculation, a rep for the Grammy winner confirms to Us that Keys, 29, and producer beau Swizz Beatz are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married later this year.

A pal tells Us, "They are very happy." It's the first child for the singer; Beatz, 31, is father to sons Kaseem Jr. and Prince, both from prior relationships.

"[Alicia] is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her album [The Element of Freedom]," another friend told Us of Beatz back in January.

And Keys' husband-to-be is equally smitten. "What we have is so precious," Beatz gushed to the New York Daily News last year.

Of motherhood, Keys recently admitted, "I absolutely am very interested in starting a family. It is one of the most beautiful experiences to have in this life and I am looking forward to it when it is my time."

Raymond Lam talks about Tavia Yeung not Linda Chung

Raymond Lam, Ella Koon, Vincy Chan and Ken Hung were recording for "JSG" the night before. Raymond's "We Are Fine" was the winning song of the night. Besides performing the winning song, he also performed the theme song to his current series "Until You Can't Find Me", clearly promoting for his concert in July.

Raymond said: "I hope my new album will release before the concert. I already personally have a lot of love songs, so there should be 1 fast song. Next month I'm going to start my hardcore training for the concert. (Will show muscles at the concert?) Of course, after all I am a guy. However, before the hardcore training, I will take some time to relax, just eat whatever I want. (Will you give a free ticket to rumored girlfriend Linda Chung?) I will give out tickets to colleagues. But we should be talking about my partner in the new series, next time when I have a new series with Linda then can talk about her."

Kelly Chen's Son Learns How To Say 'BA' and 'MA'

Kelly Chen posted photos of her 10-months-old son "Har Gau Jai" Chace yesterday on her blog. She titled her post "A Day with Chace." Ten-months-old and weights 26lbs, Chace is chubby and cute. His eye brows and mouth are just like his mom. He seems to inherit good genes from his parents, who are both tall, that he is as big as a 24-months-old baby.

Kelly expressed Chace is lively and active. He likes to crawl around in the house and needs Kelly and family members to pay close attention. Chace grew 7 little teeth and started to babble. Kelly said excitedly: "Yesterday was his first time saying 'BA' and 'MA,' then he babbled many more things, like giving a speech! Don't know what was he trying to say, but I'm very happy, so want to share with you all here! Hope baby and you guys are in good health!"

Five Ways to Fix American Idol

Simon Cowell is out. Is American Idol over?

Let's not go crazy. With Lee DeWyze's crowning last night, American Idol closed out the TV year as the No. 1 show. Again. Still.

But Cowell's departure is signficant. And there was a funny feeling—call it boredom—all season long at Idoldome. So before things do go crazy, let's unveil our five-step plan for fixing what's just a little bit broke.

1. Hire Kate Gosselin: Go ask Dancing With the Stars if she's good for ratings. Go ask Jon Gosselin or Tony Dovolani if she's good for a critique. Just don't ask whether she'd be a distraction as a judge. Sometimes distractions are necessary. Like, when the contestants are a snooze. Speaking of which...

Crystal Bowersox Dumped By Boyfriend Hours Before Final “Idol” Performance

Crystal Bowersox isn’t just adapting to her role as an American Idol runner-up — the soulful single mom is also adjusting to life as a single woman.

In a surprising piece of news stemming from the A.I. finale showdown, Bowersox — who lost the crown to paint salesman Lee DeWyze in last week’s Idol grand finale — has revealed that she split with her boyfriend just hours before Tuesday night’s three-piece performance show. The two parted ways Tuesday with Tony traveling back to their hometown of Toledo, Ohio a single man.

Lee DeWyze On Winning Idol: ‘This Is Insane!’

Before celebrating his American Idol win with friends and family during an afterparty at Hollywood’s Sky Bar, season 9 champ Lee DeWyze revealed his shock to PEOPLE.

“I’m just taking it all in,” the Chicago-native said just after the big finale show. “Now I get to go make an album and tour. I can’t believe this right now. This is insane!”

Wrapped in emotion, tears came to DeWyze’s eyes when Ryan Seacrest announced he was the winner. “It hit me on stage because when you try out you imagine that happening,” says the singer, 24. “I appreciate every moment and thank fans so much for sticking with me through the ups and the downs of the season.”

Of his runner-up, Crystal Bowersox, DeWyze had nothing but praise for the mom from Elliston, Ohio. “I told her she deserves it as much as I do,” he says. “She’s going to do great things.”

Ballmer downplays Microsoft's shift in market value, says it's a 'long game'

Nothing too shocking here, but Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has made his first public comments on his company's recent slippage in market cap, and he's unsurprisingly downplaying the numbers. Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, Ballmer said simply that "we are executing very well," and "that's going to lead to great products and great success," later adding that, "I will make more profits and certainly there is no technology company in the planet which is as profitable as we are," and that "stock markets will take care of the rest." What's more, while he seemingly didn't refer to Apple by name, he did say that "it is a long game," and that "we have good competitors ... we too are very good competitors." As you might expect, Ballmer was also asked about the recent shakeup at Microsoft, but he apparently wouldn't say anything more than that he "wouldn't predict any drastic changes" in strategy for the division, and that "we'll have to accelerate plans" -- although it's not exactly clear what will be "accelerated."

NBC, Time Warner Tell Apple They're Sticking with Flash

It sounds like not everybody is ready to just throw Flash out the window because Steve Jobs told them to, as Time Warner and NBC have just told Apple they're happy to stick with it for their online video players.

According to The New York Post, "several large media companies, including Time Warner and NBC Universal" told Apple they aren't converting their video libraries to HTML5. They claim that doing so would be too expensive an undertaking and just not worth it, since Flash works on basically everything but Apple's devices.

But really, it's probably more of a power play to keep at least some sort of upper hand over Apple, a company who has a history of steamrolling media companies to get what they want. And with GoogleTV having just been announced, NBC and Time Warner are probably feeling a bit less beholden to Apple.

Does Microsoft need a Windows 7 slate?

Microsoft needs an answer to Apple's iPad and that should be some sort of Windows-based consumer tablet.

At least that is the position that analysis firm Forrester takes in a new report, which argues that tablets are "the next important computing form."

"To keep its products front and center, Microsoft needs a partner to produce a successful Windows tablet that competes with the Apple iPad," analysts JP Gownder and Sarah Rotman Epps said in a report released on Thursday. "At stake is nothing less than the future of the operating system."

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer showed off a Windows 7-based tablet prototype from Hewlett-Packard at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. HP produced several follow-up videos on the Slate, however that product's future has been thrown into severe doubt with HP's announced plans to buy Palm and use WebOS in a variety of devices.

The Forrester analysts argue that the strong early sales of the iPad show a market for a device that can play music and video, browse the Web and display e-books.

"After desktops, laptops, and Netbooks, tablets represent the next wave of mass-market consumer computing devices," the analysts said.

Review: The Era of Jay Chou

In just a decade, Jay Chou’s rise from a mere songwriter into the de facto king of Mandopop has been nothing short of stunning and Chou’s landmark 10th album 跨时代 or The Era finally arrives to face great expectations.

The shy and quiet singer is so famous now that just the news of the Taiwanese pop king’s impeding album release caused other heavyweights in the scene like Cao Ge and Wang Lee Hom to delay their album releases to avoid a head-on clash.

The unusually long 19-month wait for The Era was was due to Chou’s filming commitments like The Treasure Hunter, TV series Pandamen, as well as a Hollywood production, The Green Hornet , also starring Cameron Diaz and Seth Rogen.

To add to the wait, the album’s release was apparently delayed 4 days from the original May 14 date, as Taiwan had to work overtime to produce enough to supply to China, where advance orders couldn’t be fulfilled. The alternative of producing copies directly in China was turned down because of fears that the pirates would flood the market. Despite the precautions taken, however, the efforts backfired as all but one track from The Era were still leaked onto the Internet on May 15.

BoA ‘Energetic’ up in Billboard top 50 ‘Hot Dance/Club Play Song’ chart for 12th consecutive week

Another piece of good news for singer BoA for her singer career in the States.

According to one of America’s top music site Billboard, her recent song ‘Energetic’ is up on the site’s ‘Hot Dance/Club Play Song’ chart top 50 ranks for the 12th week as of 22nd May. The song first entered the chart at #40 rank on 13th March, and it went up to as high as #17 on 24th April after that.

Billboard’s ‘Hot Dance/Club Play Song’ chart is a weekly chart that rank the songs being played in major clubs all over the country. BoA’s previous English hit ‘Eat You Up’ was also up on the top 50 ranks of the chart for the first 14 weeks from its release.

This is just 1 year into BoA’s American debut song release. BoA released her debut American album title song ‘I Did It For Love’ last March. The song ‘I Did It For Love’ went up #127 on Billboard main chart ‘Billboard 200′.

SHOCKING PIC: 50 Cent Drops 54 Pounds!

Lean times!

Inspired by a pal who died of cancer, 50 Cent penned and stars in Things Fall Apart, a flick about a football player stricken with the disease.

“I lost 54 pounds for it,” the 6-foot rapper, 34 --- who dropped from 214 pounds to an astonishing 160 with a liquid diet and three-hour-a-day treadmill walks for nine weeks -- tells the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now). "I was starving."

Now he’s back on tour and says, "I’ve been eating. I’ll be back in shape in no time!"

Heidi Montag's Gunslinging 'Transformers 3' Audition Video

When we first heard that Megan Fox had been dropped from the 'Transformers' franchise's upcoming threequel, we were definitely a little sad. But then we got over it. The Fox will move on, but someone's gotta fill those Daisy Dukes, right? From lesser-known actresses to supermodels, there's been plenty of speculation surrounding replacement hotties, but does the answer lie in America's own reality barbie doll, Heidi Montag?

The fresh-faced Montag has been on an online campaign of sorts for the role, tweeting the following message last week regarding her intention to be the next Megan Fox: "Michael Bay I love your work! I know what a [sic] artistic brilliant genius you are! Cast me in the next Transformers." And just to confirm she's not joking, Montag posted a video of her skills on the gun range that's sure to shock, amaze and possibly disturb you.

Where Were David Cook & Adam Lambert in the 'Idol' Finale Reunion?

About 50 former American Idol winners and contestants paid tribute to Simon Cowell on Wednesday night's finale.

But two former stand-outs were missing: season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert and season 7's David Cook, the only winner who wasn't there.

Lambert, 28, announced on Twitter that he wasn't invited after blogs incorrectly reported he blew off rehearsals.

"HAHA. I have now just been made aware of more gossip and rumor mill: First of all, i was never asked to appear on the finale in any capacity," he said. "All i ever heard was:"you've not been asked to perform on finale.Would you like to sit in the audience?" Me:sorry-Too much work to do today."

He's busy preparing for his first tour.

Early iPad deliveries prompt over 100,000 complaints

Early iPad deliveries across Europe have left many Apple fans contentedly playing with their new tablet toys a few hours ahead of what they expected, but according to couriers TNT it’s also been a huge source of complaints. Mobile Industry Review was told by a TNT representative that the couriers responsible for the iPad shipments have “had over 100,000 complaints today because of the iPad early delivery,” as preorder customers who had made plans to sign for the slate tomorrow have discovered a failed delivery attempt was in fact made today.

There’s no telling whether the 100,000 figure is hyperbole by the TNT rep or an accurate figure as to the number of iPads now in the wild across the UK – certainly initial preorders were enough to exhaust Apple’s initial supplies of the tablet. Still, the dilemma for those unable to accept delivery today is that TNT may attempt a redelivery tomorrow or their iPads may get pushed to the bottom of the queue.

Nokia N8 shows up on Vodafone UK’s website

Vodafone UK could be the first British mobile carrier to sell the Nokia N8, as it has just added the Dark Steel version of the new Symbian^3 smartphone to its website’s coming soon section.

Unfortunately, Vodafone doesn’t provide a launch date for the Nokia N8, but since the handset is bound to hit the market in the third quarter of this year, the carrier might offer it as soon as July.

Pricing has not been unveiled, either, but I guess Vodafone will offer the N8 for free on contract with plans from £30 per month (like the HTC Desire is currently offered), or even less.

Acer Liquid Stream with Android 2.1 and AMOLED display officially announced (video)

Acer has just announced its newest Android smartphone: the Acer Stream, initially showcased by Google as Acer Liquid Stream.

The Liquid name was ditched for some reason, so the handset is officially know as Acer Stream from now on.

The Stream currently runs Android 2.1, but, like most high-end Android smartphones announced this year, it will probably get Android 2.2 Froyo when this comes out.

Acer presents the Stream as being “the utmost expression of technology, design, performance and entertainment.” The smartphone is 11.2 mm thick, is made out of “highly resistant materials” and looks quite good.

Jay is careful of showing his magic after recent rumors

Yesterday, Jay Chou was invited as special guest on popular variety, Kang Xi Lai Le and was accompanied by his buddies Jeff Huang and Jaycee Chan.

Jay showed his magic trick of turning a green bean into a pork dumpling where Xiao S made fun, “Very childish.” Due to the hot topic of Jay’s rumored relationship with “Monkey King Girl” Anli Chen, Jay suddenly expressed feelings, “I used to show my magic tricks to anyone I meet. I would show them regardless who they were, so that’s why I don’t have any recollection (of who they were). But because of all the recent news, I’ve learned one thing, which is not to show my magic tricks to others so casually. From now on, I will have to confirm who they are first before I show them any magic.”

Lydia Tong's "Bonsai Cat" photo on Weibo causes an outrage of Artists' criticisms

Lydia Tong recently uploaded a "Bonsai Cat" photo on Weibo, revealing a cat trapped in a baby bottle. She said that its cute and won't have to be worried of losing him. Minutes after the upload, it led to an outrage on Weibo, where many artists criticized her. Artists that responded to the "bonsai cat" photo includes Lynn, Chilam Cheung, William Chan, G.E.M and many more. At 8am after the rage of responses, Lydia still did not feel bad as she fought back in English: "Wish u would find out the truth before criticizing others in public next time..." Most of the negative comments were deleted by her shortly after. Yesterday her mother Isabella Kau attended a beauty salon press conference and clearly prepared for her daughter, she expressed that she has lost contact with her daughter.

Julia Stiles Joining Cast Of “Dexter?”

Julia Stiles — who became a bona fide teen star appearing alongside Heath Ledger in 1999’s 10 Things I Hate About You — is reportedly in talks to join the next season of Showtime’s Dexter, Entertainment Weekly spilled on Wednesday.

While the actress’ potential role is currently under wraps, word is she’s very close to closing a deal that will see her join the cast when the fifth season of Dexter premieres next fall.

Series star Michael C. Hall is currently in remission after successfully battling cancer earlier this year.

Brad Pitt For President?

“There’s not much left for him to do in Hollywood,” spilled a spy close to the father of six. “Brad will run for Senate and if all goes well will mount a bid to become President in 2016.”

Daniel Craig Gay?

Cover your eyes and ears, girls: If Daniel Craig is your secret celebrity future husband then this may be too much to bear.

The Bond actor was allegedly spotted making out with a hunk in the parking lot of Roosterfish Bar in Venice on May 15.

“It was definitely Daniel Craig, and he was most certainly making out with a guy,” an onlooker tells The National Enquirer. “Daniel kissed his friend on the lips. It was an open-mouth passionate French kiss. In fact, Daniel held the guy’s head in his hands and pulled him in for the kiss!”

The witness — who took a polygraph test to prove the story was genuine — says when Daniel realized he was being watched he “immediately broke away from the guy. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it.”

Harry Potter Stars Emotional as They Set to Wrap Final Film

They've spent a decade together. Now down to the last two weeks of shooting on the final Harry Potter film, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are facing the end of the magical ride with heavy hearts.

"I will be devastated [when it's over]," Radcliffe, 20, said Wednesday at the National Movie Awards in London. "There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything [about the films] is so linked to my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end."

"I feel like someone is dying," said Watson, 20, adding that she never expected just how big the franchise would get (even inspiring a theme area at Universal Orlando). "This kind of love and recognition is just incredible. It is also really emotional for me. I am proud."

Only Two More Weeks

Producer David Heyman said the crew is now shooting the final scenes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in London. The movie will be split into two parts, coming out this November and next July.

Lead Designer of webOS Flees to Google

Martias Duarte leaves Palm to work on Android OS

Just when you thought that things had quieted down a bit on the Palm front, this interesting bit of news just came across the news wires. Earlier this morning, it was reported that Matias Duarte, the man who lead that team that developed the webOS UI, was leaving Palm. At the time, no one knew where Duarte was heading following his departure from the mobile firm that was recently acquired by HP.

However, All Things Digital is now reporting that Duarte is heading to none other than Google. Google confirmed that Duarte will join the company as the User Experience Director for Android.

Google is gaining quite a bit of momentum in the smartphone market and Android-based smartphones recently bolted ahead of Apple's iPhone according to numbers from marker research firm NPD. The company is also taking the fight straight to Apple and RIM with new features in Android 2.2 including native tethering/Wi-Fi hotspot, support for Adobe Flash 10.1, faster application performance, and over the air syncing for apps and music.

Rumor: Steve Ballmer To Speak At WWDC During Apple Keynote

It sounds random, but Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry is claiming that Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's CEO, will be joining Apple during their WWDC keynote. It's not completely crazy though—Bill Gates jumped onstage back in 1997 at Macworld.

So what will Ballmer be evangelizing about during Apple's big iPhone 4 reveal? Err, Visual Studio 2010, according to Chowdhry, which lets developers create iPhone, iPad and OS X apps on Windows. Apparently seven minutes have been "blocked off" for Ballmer, presumably with time being given to developers, gaming publishers and the like.

If Jobs lets Ballmer screech about on stage, monkey-dancing and screaming "developers! developers! developers!" then it really is a new era for Apple.

Acer CEO teases 7-inch Android tablet, promises it for Q4 2010

Acer's been busy doing a presentation over in Beijing today, and the highlight of the show was the first sighting of the company's 7-inch Android tablet. It's described by Shufflegazine as "pretty fast with sensitive touch," though CEO Gianfranco Lanci was apparently reluctant to disclose any of the specs. He told the gathered press to expect it in the fourth quarter of this year, which sounds all kinds of 2000-and-late, but we have to consider the fact that only a couple of months ago Acer was telling us it wasn't going to enter the tablet realm at all. What's interesting is that Lanci described network operators as an "obvious" sales channel, suggesting the slate has an integrated 3G module, while it also looks like the silvery bottom of the device is occupied by a QWERTY keyboard not unlike that found on Amazon's Kindle. Interesting times lie ahead, that's for sure.

Wu Chun goes "Brother Sharp" for his new role

It's been nearly two years since we last saw Wu Chun in Hot Shot, but the wait is almost over! He will soon be returning to TV alongside Rainie Yang in the new idol drama 陽光天使 (roughly translates to "Sunny Angel"). Wu Chun's character is an entrepreneur who ended up living in the streets after going bankrupt. It remains to be seen if his “street-style” can top the beloved Brother Sharp, but he promises that “it’s not gonna look pretty”.

As for his costar Rainie Yang, Wu Chun said his impression of her is that she is very experienced despite her young age: “She debuted early. (I) thought there would be some distance, but (I) realized she’s just like a girl after meeting her.” Rainie Yang recently said in an interview that she is worried about Wu Chun looking prettier than her. In response, he said he looks “just okay”, and doesn’t believe pretty necessarily means girly. He stressed, “Whether I'm manly or not is something I know within myself, it’s fine as long as I know I’m not girly.”

Honey Chen now claims Jay Chou forced himself on her

She added she's willing to challenge Jay to a lie-detector test

Minor-league model Honey Chen has continued to ride on superstar Jay Chou's popularity and revealed more details about their "secret" relationship.

For her newfound fame, Honey was invited onto Taiwanese variety show Liang Chen Ji Shi's first episode, which aired on Monday. But despite claiming she did not want to discuss the mumbling singer-songwriter, the model opened up about the 'romance' further.

Looking uncomfortable, Honey stuttered, "I feel bad to have hurt other people... I don't want to think back on those 'unpleasant memories'."

Cecilia Cheung recovering well after Caesarean delivery

Hong Kong celebrity mum Cecilia Cheung who just gave birth to her second child two weeks ago, said Tuesday that she was recovering well and that her son Quintus was healthy, reported Chinese media.

The 30-year-old actress, who was recently photographed wearing dark glasses and a surgical mask in Hong Kong's Central district, explained that she was actually returning from a routine medical check up at the time and went on to give an update about her present condition.

"The doctors say my Caesarean section wounds are healing well and joked that I could have 80 children if I wanted to. However, they told me to avoid eating bird's nest and dried fish maw.

"I was quite sad because I really love bird's nest", said Cheung.
