Jessica Biel's plan doesn't come together when her sheer red dress reveals her black underwear at A-Team premiere

After spending the past two months promoting the A-Team movie around the globe, Jessica Biel should be a seasoned red carpet veteran.

But arriving at the London premiere of the film last night, she managed to commit two fashion faux pas as she wore an outfit the same colour as the carpet, and managed to flash her black underwear in the process.

But given the shapely actress's well-known penchant for regular workouts at the gym, she needn't have been too worried about what the flashbulbs would show up underneath her gown.

Justin Timberlake's girlfriend, 28, was credited with bringing the glamour to the male-dominated premiere in her Giambattista Valli gown and her matching red strappy sandals.

Johnny Depp Penelope Cruz “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”

Ahoy! On Monday, Johnny Depp’s sexy swashbuckler Jack Sparrow and his new Pirates love interest/sometimes nemesis, Anjelica (Oscar winner Penelope Cruz), were snapped walking hand-in-hand on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

The fourth installment in Disney’s blockbuster film franchise is currently shooting on-location in Hawaii.

Eric Schmidt: The World Doesn’t Need A Copy Of The Same Thing

By this point everyone and their mother knows that Google is trying to create a Facebook-type social networking service. It’s been confirmed by Quora’s Adam D’ Angelo, given an ETA by a source internal to Google, and a name, “Google Me” by Kevin Rose.

And now the The Wall Street Journal reports that Google is trying to get a piece of the Facebook pie, the filling of which is primarily composed of social games, hence the rumored discussions with the newly acquired Playdom, and EA, not to mention Google’s recent $100 million investment in Zynga.

At this point just about the only person who is still in denial of the existence of Google Me is Eric Schmidt. Schmidt, when asked by the WSJ whether hypothetically Google would create a service which resembled Facebook’s replied, “The world doesn’t need a copy of the same thing.”

Schmidt went on to state that Facebook was actually good for Google because “Facebook users use more Google products than any other users” which is a valid yet somewhat misleading statement, as the 500 million strong population of Facebook is greater than the United States.

Android 2.2 upgrade for Droid X may already be trickling out, other Droids shortly?

We've already gathered that Verizon, Moto, and HTC all seem to be pretty well committed to bumping most of their Droid models to Froyo (as well they should), but things are starting to get real -- really real. First off, we've been fed a shot of a tipster's Droid X that has apparently already been blessed with 2.2 over the air; the baseband version is a tick older than the one in a shot leaked over on My Droid Life, but it's anyone's guess how Motorola is staging this and what the final gold binary really contains. We've also seen a 2.2 ROM for the Droid Incredible leak recently (and the Droid before that), so uncorroborated rumors we're seeing that three of the four retail Droids will be getting 2.2 by the 15th of next month aren't necessarily crazy. Remember: think positive thoughts.

Hangeng releases two new MVs for debut Mandarin solo album

After releasing his first MV, Fire last week, Hangeng has now revealed the final two MVs for his debut Mandarin solo album, Geng Xin on July 28th.

Unlike the his first MV which was really flashy and packed with power dancing, Hangeng’s two new MVs for his new songs, Say No and Holding An Umbrella are more down to earth and with some drama thrown in.

Hangeng’s new album was released earlier this week in China and he will continue promotions in the country. Thereafter the album will also be released in other Asian countries and currently, he is scheduled to visit Taiwan in August and Singapore (Malaysia to be confirmed) in September for album promotions.

Katy Perry “Teenage Dream” Album Promo Pics

This week, Katy Perry released three saucy new promo pictures ahead of the release of her forthcoming third album — Teenage Dream – premiering Aug. 24.

The effort features the title track, which is currently No. 3 on iTunes, as well as Katy’s No. 1 summer smash, “California Gurls.”

In one shot, Perry imitates Bettie Page in some eye-popping PVC lingerie. Another features the free-spirited songstress in a cut-off California shirt and leather shorts perched in front of a painted peace sign backdrop.

Lee Pace to Play Edward's BFF in Breaking Dawn?

Are you all familiar with Lee Pace?

Well, Twi-hards, it's time to learn and possibly fall in love because we're hearing Lee is thisclose to being cast as the newest vampire in the next installment of The Twilight Saga.

So what role would cutie Lee play?

Pace, perhaps best known from the before-its-time show Pushing Daisies, is up for the role of Garrett, a friend of Edward's (that would be Robert Pattinson, just in case you forgot).

The character is described in the script as a tall, nomadic vampire with sandy hair that he keeps tied back with a leather thong. Garrett is also penned as being down-to-earth, laid-back, rugged and having a lightness and element of humor about him.

"Lee is the top person in the running to play Garrett in Breaking Dawn," a source tells E! News.

As we all know, Bill Condon is directing both Breaking Dawn films, and according to our insider, is "hoping to take it in a more artsy direction."

Look Out, Taylor Swift, Gwyneth Paltrow Is Country Strong!

You know we love to go after anything involving her royal GOOPness Gwyneth Paltrow, so when we heard that the Oscar winner had released a country—country!—single for her new romantic drama Country Strong, we were chomping at the bit to let loose with some snark...

But you know what? She's good—and more than just in that "Cruisin'" karaoke way.

Take a listen to the flick's title track right here and let us know what you think. Do crooning cuties Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift have competition?

Here’s the most complete Windows Phone 7 walkthrough

Microsoft is hard at work on Windows Phone 7, their next-gen mobile operating system. That much we know. Windows Phone 7 is due out in October, with handsets running it to follow right after that.

Of course, we’ve seen bits and glimpses of the Windows Phone 7 experience before, but never in such detail.

Greg Sullivan, a Senior Product Manager for Windows Phone at Microsoft has done the most comprehensive demo of the new mobile OS to date.

Important bits include the fact that OEMs will be able to customize the UI only to a certain (limited) extent. For example, skinning the whole interface will be impossible, but they can add their own hubs. The basic point here is that OEMs are free to add functionality where they feel that’s needed, but can’t outright replace anything.

It will be interesting to see how the likes of HTC will deal with these Microsoft-imposed limitations. They’ve gotten used to putting their highly-customized Sense UI on all the phones they make, and in this case the customizations they do make may have to be a lot less flashy than that.

How Fast Is Your iPhone, Really?

If you are considering upgrading your iPhone to a newer model, Mike Hellers and Chris Pinnock made a video that will help you decide: A no-prisoners speed race between the original Jesusphone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4.

If you are going to buy the obvious winner, you should also consider our review and remember to order the free bumper that will avoid the antenna problem.

Michael Bay signs onto yet another alien movie: He should have gone all space-y years ago

Michael Bay loves aliens. He’s currently directing his third film with those robots from Cybertron who somehow turn into American makes and models, he’s producing the extraterrestrial refugee adaptation I Am Number Four, and now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, he’s set to shepherd yet another it-came-from-outer-space flick. Described as Cloverfield meets Paranormal Activity — which is code for shaky meets blurry — the script for the as-of-yet untitled project was written by first-timer Bobby Glickert.

Say what you want about Michael Bay, but he knows a fundamental truth: Aliens, like bacon, can help make everything better. Just imagine how much more tolerable Pearl Harbor would have been if the attackers turned out to Venusian rather than Japanese. Josh Hartnett would leave to fight the space invaders, and Cuba Gooding Jr. would exchange anti-aircraft artillery with lasers. See? Better already.

What do you think? What other films from Bay’s oeuvre should be retroactively fitted with outer-space beings? Marsageddon? The (Moon) Rock?

Amy Adams Debuts Newborn Daughter!

On Sunday, Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams gave her first glimpse of 2-month-old daughter Aviana.

Along with fiancé Darren Legallo, mother and daughter went shopping at the Beverly Hills Farmers Market Sunday.

Adams, 35, gave birth in May, with Aviana weighing in at 7 lbs.

"It’s been good for me," she said of her pregnancy last year. "I’ve benefited a lot from taking some downtime and working on friendships and really reconnecting with my fiance."'

Adams will soon head back to work: She recently signed on to play Janis Joplin in the 2012 music flick Janis Joplin: Get It While You Can.

AT&T claims it will be 'the premier carrier' for Windows Phone 7

Without question, AT&T's wireless growth these past few years has been largely based on iPhone -- and with apparently good reason, if you look at the numbers. As far as other platforms go, however, it's not been as rosy. Android's relation with the carrier, for example, is a story woven with years of hesitation, some questionable releases, and a rival that's fully embraced it to notable success (releases like the Captivate and Streak suggest a stronger future). So with all that in mind, what we're hearing from AT&T in the wake of Windows Phone 7 is decidedly more committal. Here's what a spokesperson told PC World this week: "We'll be the premier carrier for Windows Phone 7" (emphasis ours). Strong words, but we still haven't heard concrete plans from anyone, including Microsoft, on what's going on with the release. Whispers care of our friend Michael Gartenberg suggest AT&T has "signed up for 8 million" phones and our own eyes have espied some launch materials, but we'll just have to see. Your move, Ma Bell. Assuage our doubts, k?

With the iPhone 4 and Android madness not slowing down anytime soon, it’s great to see BlackBerry get back in the ring. Let’s just hope they throw some knock out punches in this round.

Apple iOS 4.1 beta 2 now available for developers

Developers, developers, developers: Apple is now seeding the second iteration of the iOS 4.1 beta your way. We haven't had a chance yet to dive in and see what changes are afoot, but we're downloading now and will be sure to let you know if we notice anything.

Angelina Jolie shows off her stunning legs in split-to-the-thigh dress at Salt premiere in Tokyo

As she confidently strode onto the red carpet, to all intents and purposes Angelina Jolie was the epitome of Hollywood glamour.

The 35-year-old actress caused a frenzy at the Tokyo premiere of her new movie Salt, wearing a flowing black Versace chiffon dress, slashed provocatively to the hip and showing off her stunning legs.

However on closer inspection, the revealing outfit laid bare here sinewy arms, which were lined with bulging veins, suggesting the star had, perhaps, been working a little too hard at the gym.

Wearing her hair in a stylish updo, the svelte celeb teamed the backless design - which revealed her many tattoos - with a pair of towering heels.

“Saw VII: 3D” Release Date Moved To Oct. 29 To Avoid Competition With “Paranormal Activity 2″

Horror sequels Paranormal Activity 2 and Saw VII: 3D will no longer slay victims on the same opening weekend.

Both horror blockbusters had been slated for Oct. 22 release dates, however Lionsgate — who produces Saw — has decided to bow out of a box office showdown with the eagerly-anticipated follow-up to last year’s Paranormal Activity. Paranormal Activity 2 will remain in the Oct. 22 slot while Saw 3D will move back to its customary Halloween weekend opening. The seventh — and final — installment in the horror franchise will now open Oct. 29.

Dell shows off Android 2.1 running on the Streak, still planning to make it to Froyo

Dell's Kevin Andrew answered a few questions about the Streak in a new "vlog" on YouTube, and it's a mixture of encouragement and confusion. On the good side, Kevin showed off Android 2.1 up and running on the phone / tablet / lady-killer. It looks just like 2.1, of course, but with Dell's customizations still riding atop it. Oddly, while showing off 2.1, Kevin reassures us that Dell is still planning to go to Froyo (2.2), which is reiterated by the text below the video, with no clarification if 2.1 will actually be released as an intermediate measure. Either way we don't have a timeline, which is pretty much the same tune we hear with every Android handset. In other news, Dell is planning to launch the cherry red version of the streak "shortly" after the international launch of the graphite model -- which might be as soon as tomorrow (Dell's site still says "late July," but they just wrapped up a 24 hour pre-sale and said to check back tomorrow, possibly just for more pre-sales). Check out the video after the break.

HTC Incredible, Motorola Droid and Droid X to get Android 2.2 Froyo starting August 6?

Verizon’s current high-end Android smartphones (Motorola Droid, Motorola Droid X and HTC Droid Incredible) might be updated to Android 2.2 Froyo at the same time.

According to Android Spin, a “Verizon tipster” has it that the three handsets will get Froyo starting August 6, with updates expected to reach all users by August 15.

Verizon has not officially confirmed this yet, so don’t be mad at us if your Droid will actually get Froyo later than August 15.

If all this turns out to be true, then the Motorola Droid 2 (slated to arrive at Verizon on August 23) will likely be launched with Froyo on-board from the beginning, as rumored.

Vic Zhou shows his vulnerable side

The star talks about lessons he learnt from his last relationship

Even a hunk like Vic Zhou has confidence issues.

In a recent interview when promoting his new movie Ai Ni Yi Wan Nian (loosely translates to Love You for Ten Thousand Years), Vic revealed that there are times when he feels insecure and stressed in a relationship.

"The one thing my last relationship taught me is this: if the guy is not earning as much as the female, he no longer has any say in the family."

"He will feel the need to earn more money and this causes him to sacrifice his principles to take on jobs that he doesn't want to."

Vic added that when a man really loves a woman, appearances are the last thing he'll care about; he will only be concerned about his ability to shoulder the responsibility of supporting the family.

Reports suggest that these heartfelt confessions from Vic appeared to be referring to his last relationship with actress Barbie Hsu.

Apple Magic Trackpad official: $69 multitouch peripheral

Apple’s new Magic Trackpad brings to desktop users something they’ve been enviously eyeing up from their mobile counterparts for some time now: multitouch gestures. Basically a larger version of the multitouch trackpad from a MacBook Pro, the glass-topped slab hooks up to your Mac via Bluetooth and promises “months” of battery life and up to 33ft range.

Supported gestures include two-finger scrolling, pinching to zoom, rotating with your fingertips, three-finger swiping, and activating Exposé or switching between applications with four fingers. The Magic Trackpad is also identically angled to the regular Apple Bluetooth keyboard, so they should fit together quite nicely on your desk.

Ashton Kutcher Wants F-Word in New Film's Title

Ashton Kutcher is campaigning for a cuss-tastic title for the Ivan Reitman film he just wrapped. "I just finished a film called 'The F--k Buddies,' that may not ultimately be called 'F--k Buddies,' " Kutcher tells Moviehole.net. "I don't know why -- I think people would love to go see a movie called 'The F--k Buddies.' "

The comedy features Kutcher, Kevin Kline and Natalie Portman. IMDb describes its plot as, "A guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before they learn that they want something more." The production also stands as 'Untitled Ivan Reitman Project' at the moment, though it was once announced as 'Friends With Benefits.'

"I think if I saw a poster and it said 'The F--k Buddies,' I'd be like, 'I'm in, I'm going to see it.' I think it's going to be a really, really funny movie. I can't think about it without laughing. That should be the title. I'm shooting for that."

Ke$ha: Inspired by Transvestites

Ke$ha is inspired by transvestites.

In a new interview with Paper Magazine, she says:

"Trannies make me want to be a better woman. I see these men who have way better bodies than I do, more beautiful faces, better complexions, beautiful makeup, and they're more fun than any person I've met in my life. They make me feel like I'm not a very good woman."

That's an unusual point of view from an unusual artist.

Let's take a look at what else Ke$ha had to say to that publication:

On trying country music: I love Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. I think at some point there might be some country collaborations or records in the future. But I'm also really digging being called, like half jokingly, a white girl rapper. I think it's really funny and I'm going to ride that train for a little bit.

On one of her favorite things: I wouldn't say I'm aggressive, but I'm a pervert. I have a gold Trans Am and my favorite thing to do in the world is to drive around blasting Zeppelin or Sabbath, cat calling dudes. It doesn't work, but it's fun.

Apple Mac Pro line overhauled with 12 processing cores, arriving in August for $4,999

So shall it be written, so shall it be done. The Mac Pro has at long last proven rumors of its impending refresh accurate, as Apple has just updated its most powerful hardware with even more grunt. As we'd heard previously, that means you can now get dual-CPU rigs that offer a full dozen cores to play with, courtesy of Intel's Xeon server-class chips, though in order to get in on that game you'll have to splash a cool $4,999 entry fee. The quad-core starting price is still $2,499, though the eight-core machines have jumped up to $3,499, with both variants getting mild speed bumps to 2.8GHz and 2.4GHz, respectively.

Perhaps the most welcome upgrade is on the graphical front, where the Radeon HD 5770 takes up the mantle of default GPU, with additional options for a pair of such cards or a step up to a 1GB HD 5870 alternative if you're keen on maxing out those frame rates. Memory isn't neglected either, with choices ranging all the way up to 32GB of RAM, 4TB of conventional HDD storage, or an array of four 512GB SSDs -- though you're probably better off not asking how much that last one will set you back.

Apple iMac line gets speedbumped, low-end gets a Core i3

It's not as if we haven't heard the rumors building over the last few months, but Apple's long-standing iMac line is seeing its first real update since the Fall of last year on this fine morning. As predicted, the refreshed family now contains Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processor options, not to mention discrete ATI Radeon HD GPU options, IPS panels, an SD slot that understands the complexities of SDXC and an SSD option on the 27-inch machine. For whatever reason, Apple's not throwing in its new Magic Trackpad with any iMac; instead, it'll be a $69 accessory. One swank addition to this line, however, is the ability to order your new all-in-one with both an HDD and an SSD on the 27-inch model. Of course, it'll cost you dearly (a 1TB HDD plus a 256GB SSD is a $750 CTO option, while the 2TB HDD in that combo makes it a $900 option), but at least there's room inside for DIY adds. Here's a look at the available configurations, with last Fall's lineup saved here for reference:
  • The low-end $1,199 unit boasts a 21.5-inch display (1,920 x 1,080), a 3.06GHz Core i3 CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, ATI's Radeon HD 4670 GPU (256MB) and a 500GB hard drive. There's also an 8x slot-loading SuperDrive with dual-layer support, Mini DisplayPort, AirPort Extreme 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, iSight webcam, gigabit Ethernet, a foursome of USB 2.0 sockets, a single FireWire 800 port and a bundled wireless Apple Keyboard and Magic Mouse.
  • There's a new $1,499 21.5-inch model that includes a 3.20GHz Core i3, ATI Radeon HD 5670 GPU (512MB), a 1TB hard drive and 4GB of DDR3 memory (along with the usual suspects mentioned above).
  • The $1,699 model is a 27-incher with a 2,560 x 1,440 LED-backlit display, 3.20GHz Core i3 CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, ATI's Radeon HD 5670 (512MB), a 1TB hard drive and available CTO options that include a 3.6GHz Core i5, 2TB HDD, 256GB SSD and up to 16GB of RAM.
  • The flagship $1,999 flavor (27-inch) packs a 2.8GHz quad-core Core i5 with 8MB of shared L3 cache, 4GB of DDR3 memory, ATI's Radeon HD 5750 GPU (1GB), a 1TB hard drive and available CTO options that include a 2.93GHz Core i7 CPU, 2TB hard drive, 256GB SSD and up to 16GB of memory.

Jolin Tsai’s family crisis

The star’s parents are said to be separated as Jolin’s father becomes increasingly alienated from family activities

Things are going smoothly at work but not at home for her.

According to reports, Taiwanese pop princess Jolin Tsai's are separated.

Reports claim that Jolin's father did not turn up at Jolin's mother's old house last Lunar New Year and he was even absent during Jolin's sister, Jo's wedding. The star has also stopped letting her father handle her finances, shifting the job to Jo instead.

In fact, the cracks in their marriage appeared years ago, when Jolin's father was taken to court by a woman he was having an affair with.

After a two-week camp-out at the Tsai's residences, paparazzo finally caught hold of her parents. Jolin's mother initially declined to answer any questions and went upstairs back home.
