SCANDAL? Miss World 2009 Kaiane Aldorino Nude Photos?

Last Saturday, we witnessed the coronation of Kaiane Aldorino as the new winner of Miss World. The pageant was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Kaiana became the first woman from this British territory to win a grandslam pageant.

But I am not going to talk about the pageant in this post. I gonna show you some alleged nude pictures of Kaiana. The girl looks like Kaiana but it's up to you to judge. Here are the pictures. I write more about this later so come back and check.

Chris Brown Cancelled Twitter

Chris Brown is no MechanicalDummy. Not anymore, anyway.

Following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus, the beleaguered R&B artist has shut down his Twitter account, a day after microblogging his butt off about Walmart and other big-box haters not stocking his new album.

Which he shouldn't really have worried about, because Walmart is, in fact, carrying Graffiti. And apparently, displaying it prominently.

"We are surprised at the comments online," read a statement released by the store today. "All Walmart stores nationwide have carried the CD since its release, including the Wallingford, [Conn.], store mentioned in the post. This store actually sold through its initial shipment over the weekend. The majority of our stores today are showing they do have copies available."

Brown tweeted yesterday: "JUST WAS AT WALMART IN wallingford CT,844 north colony.. the didnt even have my album in the back... not on shelves, saw for myself...we talked to the managers and the didnt even know anything. wow!!! but they had alicia keys album ready for release for this tuesday comin...no disprespect to alicia at all.. just givin an example to whos album is loaded and ready to go next week."

Yes, how dare the manager know all about the upcoming album release from 12-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys!

Anyway, earlier today, Brown signed off with this tweet: "I WANNA THANK MY FANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT. I LOVE YALL. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Now when you click on his handle, @MechanicalDummy, all you get is "Sorry, that page doesn't exist." His complementary website is still alive and well, but feel free to mourn the loss of Brown's Twitter account on ChrisBrownDeletesHisTwitterAccount.ridiculous.

Having been released on the U.S. on Dec. 8, first-week sales figures for Graffiti are due out Wednesday.

Orlando Bloom Miranda Kerr Engaged, Says Brother

The Pirates of the Caribbean star has been dating the dimple-cheeked Australian beauty since late 2007 but the pair has repeatedly denied rumors that they are ready to wed.

Until now.

Orlando reportedly recently proposed to Miranda during a vacation in Morocco, the model’s brother Matthew revealed to Sydney’s Woman’s Day this week.

“He’s finally done it. Orlando has proposed. They’re getting married.”

A rep for Orlando has denied this latest engagment rumor……Orlando Bloom and his girlfriend — Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr — are engaged to be married, according to the model’s brother.

Google’s Nexus One to be sold starting January 5?

I’m sure you’ve already noticed how everyone’s talking about the Google Phone aka Nexus One these last few days. We’ve already heard that the smartphone might be available starting January 2010, and it looks like it will happen very early in January.

According to a brief report found at Reuters, a source familiar with the matter says that the Nexus One may be on sale directly from Google (most probably unlocked) as soon as January 5. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on the smartphone’s price.

The same source mentions that T-Mobile USA will also offer the Nexus One (on contract) – this kind of confirming the previously-heard rumors.

Of course, we can’t be sure of anything until Google officially announces the Nexus One – let’s hope it won’t be long until this happens.

Whether or not Google plans to offer its own Android 2.1 handset outside the US is still a mystery for now.

Manufactured by HTC, the Nexus One reportedly features a 3.7 inch WVGA display, a new UI with 3D elements, a 5MP camera and lots of Google services (including Google Navigation and Google Goggles).

Will a Google phone spur a Microsoft phone?

There is a “Google phone” coming, and probably sooner rather than later. Known as the Nexus One, the HTC-made phone won’t be the first to run Android (nor is it likely to be the unlocked game changer that many were hoping/wishing it to be, as mobile expert Sascha Segan notes).

Still, I wonder whether the Nexus One will spur Microsoft — green with Google envy — to reevaluate whether it should follow suit?

Microsoft was — at least at one point — actively working on a Microsoft phone and went so far as to select an ad agency to create a campaign for it. Such a phone was one element of what’s been known as Project Pink. The Pink phone was going to be manufactured by some phone maker for Microsoft, but carry the Microsoft brand, I had heard. The phone would be aimed at the teen/twenty-something market — much like the Sidekick (powered by Danger, which Microsoft acquired in 2008).

A June 2009 Microsoft job posting made reference to a “new Windows Mobile-based consumer phone.” Here’s what Microsoft was advertising (with the Microsoft PMX, Premium Mobile Experience team):

Job Category: Software Engineering: Program Management
Location: China, Beijing
Title: Senior/Lead Program Manager- ATC PMX
The ATC PMX team in Beijing China is looking for its next super-star Senior/Lead Program Manager!
Would you like to take a leading role in building the next-generation premium mobile experience to take on Apple and Google? Do you have the passion and the conviction to design the right product for the customer? Then you will want to work in the new ATC PMX team! This team in ATC is part of a core team at Microsoft to deliver great premium mobile experiences to consumers world-wide. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sr. Lead PM to work with internal/external partners/stakeholders to drive the delivery of this new exciting premium mobile experience….

Responsibilities:
Deliver premium mobile experience on a new Windows Mobile-based consumer phone. (emphasis mine)
Work with PMs, Devs, Tests, UX, and other stakeholders to ensure quality from design through delivery
Design great user-centric features to meet the requirements of the end-users and mobile operators.
Manage multiple priorities to deliver commitments on time and meet/exceed high quality bars
Manage/mentor/coach more junior PMs

Earlier this fall, screen shots leaked two alleged models of a Microsoft phone — one codenamed “Turtle” and another, “Pure.” But since that time, Microsoft execs have attempted to pour cold water on Microsoft Pink phone rumors. When I had a chance to ask Microsoft Entertainment and Devices President Robbie Bach as to whether there would be a Microsoft-branded Pink phone coming (one that would be made by a third-party phone vendor, not Microsoft itself), Bach didn’t confirm or deny it. He said that with the new “Windows Phone” branding Microsoft and its partners are pushing, there are already a lot of “Microsoft phones.”

Bach’s comments and other subsequent tips made me think Microsoft had decided against releasing a Microsoft-branded phone and that Pink was back to being nothing but a bunch of consumer-focused premium services that would run on third-party Windows Mobile phones. But now I’m wondering again whether Microsoft — if officials did change their minds and drop plans for a Pink phone — will reconsider releasing a “Microsoft phone” in 2010.

What do you think? Will there be a “Microsoft phone” in 2010 — whether it’s from Sharp or another carrier? Or will Microsoft stick with its current multiple-partner strategy, but just whittle down the number of Windows Mobile phone suppliers in time for them to release Windows Mobile 7 phones in late 2010?

Jay Chou's 'The Treasure Hunter' defeats 'Storm Warriors II' at box office

Emperor Motion Pictures’s action film ‘The Treasure Hunter’ premiered on the 9th of December in China. According to China Film Group’s spokesperson, the film did extremely well at box office on the first day. In just half a day, it reached $7.83million RMB, beating ‘Storm Warriors II’s $5million who was released in the same week and the previous similar genre ‘National Treasure 2’s $4million.

‘The Treasure Hunter’ is directed by Zhu Yan Ping and stars Jay Chou, Lin Chi Ling, Chen Dao Ming, Eric Tsang, Baron Chen etc. Newcomers in the film industry Jay Chou & Lin Chi Ling pairing up with veterans Chen Dao Ming & Eric Tsang have produced many sparks. Chen Dao Ming’s steady school style & Eric Tsang’s humorous and natural style have greatly helped both Jay & Lin Chi Ling to improve their acting. In the film, whether it’s raiding towers, the numerous fight scenes and the exciting scenes in the tomb, amazes viewers to a new extent. And the various desert scenary and the human insignificance in such a vast world also adds to the film’s storyline. But of course, the biggest highlights in the film are the interactions between the handsome Jay Chou & the beautiful Lin Chi Ling, while they search for treasure, avoid the enemy’s pursuit, and at the same time, spark a new love relationship.

Google, Facebook in URL shortening: pioneers should keep innovating

A URL used to say something about a Web site’s owner - a memorable name that replaced a complex set of numbers that were used to access a Web page. Then things changed. In today’s world of Twitter tweets and mobile texts, where long drawn-out URL links are character hogs, services like tinyurl and bit.ly came on board and showed us that there was value in shortcut URLs with only a few characters.

These services should be thanked for introducing us to URL shortening and providing a service for us early adopters. We appreciated it. But the time has come for the big guys to step in and take over the URL shortening game, or so it would appear.

Today, Google announced goo.gl, a URL shortening service that’s being introduced as part of the browser toolbar and the Feedburner RSS service but will likely end up being a more broadly integrated feature. (Techmeme) Meanwhile, there was also some blogger buzz today about fb.me, a URL shortening service that Facebook is reportedly testing.

Of course, Google and Facebook won’t dominate right away. They’re just starting to test the waters - and there’s still plenty of research to be done. Google and Facebook will surely be analyzing the usage patterns behind the url shorteners. And that will give the small guys a chance to beef themselves up as competitors or, better yet, start innovating.

URLs are just what’s used today. We’re already transitioning to a society of bookmarks, desktop shortcuts, and links. Why do we even need URLs? Maybe we can speak the command to bring up a web site. Or just touch an app-like shortcut. At some point, won’t the computer just be able to read my mind?

The pioneers should keep innovating, pushing the boundaries and giving us what we don’t even know we need yet. But be realistic about the future of URL shortening - Google and Facebook are the new drivers of the technology. They’ll tweak it and shape it and deliver it to the masses. It’s up to the innovators to discover the next big thing.

Android 2.1's boot animation for the Nexus One reminds us of... something

Red, green, blue, yellow. They aren't just four of the bestest shades in Roy G. Biv -- to anyone with a computer and a soul, that particular color combo is permanently etched in the brain as the unchanging constituents of the Windows logo in its many, many forms over the years; Google's logo happens to use them, true, but so far, Android's been green to the bone. Anyhow, you may have already noticed that some of the shots of the Nexus One clearly show a boot screen with a cross pattern colored thusly, and it turns out there's an Android 2.1 dump floating around that's got the animation on board. Of course, dumped ROMs have a tendency to get pulled apart like a turkey at Thanksgiving dinner in a matter of mere hours, and the animation's already found its way onto YouTube. Just because it's in a hacked Flan ROM doesn't mean you should expect to see it on every Android phone under the sun next year -- the animation portrays a nexus, of sorts, which would fit in nicely with a phone of the same name.

Seriously though, check out the wait cursor in Windows Mobile 6.5 for comparison

And yes, we know you can only combine colors so many ways -- we doubt there was any intentional inspiration here -- but regardless, we're chalking it up as a cute homage to a platform Android hopes to destroy.

Tara Reid Poses for Playboy to Show Off Fixed Plastic Surgery

Tara Reid is still around and posing on the January/February cover of Playboy.

Quick Tara Reid recap (it's been a while, we know): She starred in American Pie, The Big Lebowski and Van Wilder before becoming most well known for her botched plastic surgery, partying and that one time her boob completely fell out of her dress.

But now she's trying to stage a little comeback, the first step of which appears to be telling the world her plastic surgery is all fixed and ready for viewing. What better way to accomplish that than posing topless for Playboy? Here, we'll let the the 34-year-old out-of-work actress explain:

"I got it fixed and now I'm OK and I want people to know I'm OK," she told New York's WPIX. "I've had it done for the last five or six years, but people only want to show the old pictures. It's so unfair. That's part of the reason why I did Playboy, to show people, 'Right, look at me. This is how I look now.' "

(It's better if you watch the video of her saying that quote, you really need the Tara Reid voice.)

So everyone get a good look, this is how Tara Reid looks now—mostly the same, just older, maybe a little sadder and no one will ever be able to take her eyeliner away.

Alex Rodriguez Kate Hudson Breakup?

Say it ain’t so — are Alex Rodriguez and Kate Hudson dunzo? The Interwebs is atwitter with speculation over the unlikely union between the screen sweetheart and the Yankees slugger. Rumors of a split first began early Monday, with reports from HollywoodLife.com citing sources who spied A-Rod partying with several lovely ladies in Miami all weekend. Said partying went on sans Kate, who is in New York promoting the new musical motion picture Nine.

The third baseman also showed up solo to the Armani Exchange “Cool Shades of Style” dinner at Miami’s Delano Hotel Saturday night, where was overheard telling people that he and Kate had broken up. Snoops tell the site Alex was “acting very single” with two unidentified women at the weekend event.

Hollywood Top Ten Actors to Watch in 2010 - Jay Chou ranks 8th

The end of 2009 is near, and a new batch of actors are gearing up to take over Hollywood. Next year you’ll see plenty of big budget films and long awaited sequels headlined by unfamiliar faces. To keep you in the loop we’ve created a list of the top ten actors to watch in 2010. With stakes this high, 2010 will be the make or break year for everyone involved, so sit back, relax, and take a look into our “Krystal” ball.

1. Carey Mulligan

British actress Carey Mulligan is the success story that keeps young undiscovered actresses waiting tables. Within the past year she has gone from an unknown to the new “it” girl. She will most likely be gaining an Oscar nod (if not win) due to her acclaimed performance in the indie flick, An Education and next year she’ll appear in the coveted role of Gordon Gekko’s daughter in Oliver Stone’s Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps opposite Michael Douglas, Frank Langella, and Shia Labeouf. Not bad for someone whose biggest claim to fame was playing Keira Knightley’s sidekick in Pride and Prejudice.

2. Chris Hemsworth

This summer’s Star Trek beamed more than just Chris Pine to the big leagues, it also helped out some of his colleagues including Hemsworth. If you don’t remember him from Star Trek don’t worry, you’ll be seeing a lot more of him soon. In 2010 he’ll take over a role originated by the late Patrick Swayze in the remake of the cult classic Red Dawn, and he’ll also begin production on Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of the comic Thor, which will have him following in the Marvel footsteps of Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Edward Norton’s The Incredible Hulk.

3. Mia Wasikowska

Every actress between the ages of 16-21 wanted to land the role of Alice in Tim Burton’s reimagining of Alice in Wonderland, but Australian Mia Wasikowska was the lucky one that got to jump down the rabbit hole. The Disney film will reunite frequent collaborators Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter in a 3-D visual feast that everyone in Hollywood will be talking about. If that isn’t grand enough, Wasikowska will also appear in the comedy The Kids Are Alright and an untitled Gus Van Sant drama scheduled for a 2011 release. Sounds like she’s the new “indie it” girl.

4. Noah Ringer

How great do you have to be for M. Night Shyamalan to hand pick you from obscurity to star as the lead in his film? Noah Ringer was a 12 year old martial artist who sent in an audition tape to the director, not knowing that it would land him the role of Aang in The Last Airbender. The film is an adaptation of a popular animated series, and has a legion of followers who are hard to impress. Even though it’s his first acting job, Ringer has everything he needs to pull off the character including a black belt in Tae Kwan Do. Will be stick around? Probably through 2010. Who knows he may be the next JCVD.

5. Chloe Moretz

Chloe Moretz is still a tween, but has worked opposite some of the biggest stars in the business. Most audiences saw her in this year’s unromantic comedy 500 Days of Summer as Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s wise beyond her year’s sister, but 2010 has even more in store for the young actress. She’ll star as a gun toting assassin in the comic adaptation Kick-Ass, where she’ll play Hit Girl, the deadly young daughter of Nicolas Cage’s Big Daddy. She also landed the female lead in the English language remake of the vampire flick Let Me In, opposite The Road star Kodi Smit-Mcphee. Talk about being a bad-ass before you can even drive.

6. Garrett Hedlund

Garrett Hedlund has managed to snag supporting roles in some well known films such as Troy, Four Brothers, and Friday Night Lights, but next year he’ll be starring side by side with franchise legend, Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy. The film will debut in December 2010 with the same weekend slot as this year’s Avatar, which could be a blessing or a curse depending on how you look at it. Can Hedlund take over the Tron franchise and spawn a new generation of sequels? Only time will tell.

7. Adrianne Palicki

Over the past few years Palicki has made a name for herself with notable television appearances on shows like Supernatural and the NBC adaptation of Friday Night Lights. Next year she will appear in two major film releases, one being the religious epic Legion, and the other a modernized remake of Red Dawn. She’ll play a major role in both movies, but Legion will have her front and center as a woman whose unborn child causes a war that literally moves heaven and earth. On with yourself sexy lady!

8. Jay Chou

No one will ever be able to replace the late great Bruce Lee, but Jay Chou will attempt to fill his shoes for the big screen adaptation of The Green Hornet. He’ll be playing Kato, the swift kicking sidekick of Seth Rogen’s vigilante publisher Brit Reid. The Taiwanese actor is already a star overseas with a successful career as an actor, producer, and singer. The last time U.S. audiences saw him on screen was in the 2006 film The Curse of the Golden Flower, and four years later he’s ready to tackle mainstream comedy.

9. Portia Doubleday

The festival buzz surrounding the dark comedy Youth in Revolt has been positive, and beyond the hype regarding Michael Cera’s performance you’ll find some mentions of his co-star Portia Doubleday. The actress in a newbie to the film world but appears to be right at home in front of the camera. She stars as Cera’s love interest Sheeni, and manages to come across as a veteran. With her natural comedic timing we could be looking at the next Emma Stone or Ellen Page.

10. Aaron Johnson

Former child actor Aaron Johnson is already a familiar face in his native UK, but he’ll be making his leading man debut stateside as the title character in Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass. Johnson stars as Dave Lizewski, an awkward teenager who’s brutally attacked and decides to take justice into his own hands. The role is a drastic shift from his performance as legendary Beatle John Lennon in the loose biopic Nowhere Boy, which chronicles the tumultuous childhood of the future rock star. Both films are slated for 2010 releases, but Nowhere Boy will makes its theatrical debut in the U.K.

FT Island’s Hongki is the 3rd Bloody Victim?

Man, will the madness ever end? First there was 2PM's Taecyeon, then it was MBLAQ's Lee Joon, and now FT Island's front man Hongki? This is getting pretty ridiculous if you ask me!

The Korean pop scene may be one that is flooded with popular trends and whatnot, but even this bloody fan letter trend is something fans should stray away from. While this Primadonna did not hit the same extremes as the previous two fans, the thought of using blood to signify their love and appreciation for an idol is still quite appalling, wouldn't you agree? I thought we established this before, but I guess some fans just don't care. Let's just hope there won't be any future cases of fan madness to keep this trend going.

This fan in particular had cut their finger and decided to write a letter with their blood rather than put on a band aid like any other person. The letter stated, "Lee Honki, you know that I love you right?" This may be the third time I've witnessed fandom at its craziest, but I still ask the simple question every time: "Why?" Check out the images below.

As this trend continues to spread rampantly across the kpop fandom, it's getting much harder for us to differentiate between the people that do it out of sick love and the people who just want their 15 minutes of fame. Either way, it's getting plain ridiculous and we would like to see this trend die down very soon.

RAmos T11TE touchscreen PMP packs 1080p HD

If you’re in the market for an iPod alternative, and you don’t mind going with a brand that your friends have never heard of, how about the RAmos T11TE? The 5-inch 800 x 480 PMP may not look all that distinctive from the outside, but its Full HD 1080p output via an HDMI connection certainly singles it out from the rank & file of more mundane MP3 players.

Performing the magic inside is a Telechips TCC8900 processor and standalone DAC, and RAmos have thrown in stereo speakers and a TV output too. File compatibility is, as you might expect, broad: the T11TE will happily chomp through MPG, MPEG, DAT, VOB, MP4, MOV, AVI, DVD, ASF, WMV, MKV, TS, RM and RMVB videos and MP3, WMA, WAV, AC3, OGG and FLAC audio, together with JPEG, BMP and GIF images and certain ebook formats.

You also get a USB 2.0 OTG port and a remote control, along with a voice recording function. Storage is 16GB and there’s also a microSD card slot into which you can feasibly slot another 16GB. Not bad for $177.45 and 130 x 84 x 12 mm.

Charmaine Sheh helps Tavia Yeung explain her "in prison" rumors

After Charmaine Sheh and Tavia Yeung appeared together at the TVB anniversary, last night it was their first public appearance together. Although the rumors say that the awards were unfair, but in front of the camera, Charmaine and Tavia were good buddies.

Charmaine, Tavia, Kevin Cheng and Moses Chan hosted a 5 table celebration for the success of <Beyond> together . Despite the numerous rumors surrounding Charmaine and Tavia after the award ceremony, the two did not get affected by this and still appeared as great frieds, even doing kiss poses for pictures and did their interview together.

Regarding to the reports, Tavia said: "I didn't see them, I don't care. This is just what happens after award ceremonies, but I will still try to improve myself. (Reporter say that you been "in prison" for the last 3 years?) What is considered as "in prison"? If I was in prison for 3 years, then my body would really smell. (Are you dating Chris Lok?) He just accompanied to buy a camera, that's how the rumors started. (Did you get more pursuers?) More paparazzi!"

Charmaine strongly supported Tavia: "If she's dating, there is no reason why she wouldn't tell me! This is just to entertain the audience. (What about her being in prision?) I don't know, during filming of <Beyond> we were allowed to shower, so our bodies don't smell." Ever since the TVB awards, Charmaine has appeared to be down, but Charmaine explains that it is because of her very depressing role in new series <Heaven and Earth>, therefore she rarely smiles.

Linda Chung: Raymond and I did not break up because we never started

Linda Chung attended the promotion activity of "Australia-based grid Phantom of the Opera Magic" at the City Plaza yesterday. Linda told the reporter since she will not be working during Christmas, her brother will come to Hong Kong to spend the festive season with her. Reporter asked if she is also spending that time with Raymond Lam? Linda said "No" Talking about Raymond who had made it very clear to set a boundary between them, Linda said it was right he set the fact straight so that people won't get influenced by the media, otherwise no one will chase after her.

Talking about the relationship between Raymond and her, Linda said they are good working partners, "I was having a manicure the other day, I was asked about the rumor between Raymond and I. I was bored because the rumor has been going on for a long time. We never started, therefore we didn't break up. I never admitted that we were dating because it did not happen. We do however talk to each other sometime." Reporter went on to ask her about another rumored boyfriend Philip Ng, Linda stated "We are friends."

"Basterds," "Nine," Lead Critics' Choice Field

The World War II tale "Inglourious Basterds" and the Rome-set musical "Nine" led the contenders for the 15th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards, announced early Monday, with ten nominations each.

The 3-D sci-fi film "Avatar" followed with nine nominations, while "The Hurt Locker" and "Up in the Air" received eight each.

The awards, which will be handed out on January 15 at ceremonies broadcast from the Hollywood Palladium by VH1, expanded this year from 17 to 25 categories, adding seven technical categories and separating its screenplay category into original and adapted slots.

Since the critics group also includes genre categories like best action movie and best comedy as well as awards for best acting ensemble and best young actor/actress, that opened the door for plenty of multiple nominations.

Saoirse Ronan, the 15-year-old actress who plays a murdered girl in "The Lovely Bones," scored dual nominations as best actress and best young actress. "Up" was nominated for both best picture and best animated feature. And three of the nominees in the action category -- "Avatar," "Basterds" and "Locker" -- were also included in the best picture roundup.

Is Russell Brand about to pop the question to Katy Perry? Comedian shops for a diamond ring in Cartier

For years, wild-haired Russell Brand has been single and most definitely ready to mingle.

But months into a relationship with singer Katy Perry, it appears the notorious lothario could finally be about to settle down.

Brand, 34, did nothing to dispel rumours of an imminent proposal this weekend as he headed out to check out diamond rings.

The rebellious comedian was spotted in Cartier's flagship West London store on Saturday, examining some sparklers.

The star, who has been dating 'I Kissed A Girl' singer Perry for three months now, eventually settled on a large, square-cut diamond set in a platinum band.

His purchase will raise speculation Perry, 25, from California, might have a very special Christmas present hidden in her stocking this year.

Brand flew back to LA yesterday after a quick visit to Britain that saw him attend his nephew's nativity play.

But he had an unscheduled delay after landing in the U.S. when customs decided they needed to ask him a few questions.

He posted on Twitter: 'In La. Held by customs for an hour- because of "previous convictions" then stepped into a a drizzlin grey-scape. It's like being 16 again.'

Despite their busy schedules, Brand and Perry's relationship appears to be going from strength to strength.

Only days ago, the comedian said: 'I'd love to marry Katy - hopefully it's heading that way and I'm really happy.'

Earlier this month, the couple visited Austria with Perry's parents - who are both born-again Christians.

Google Nexus One photos confirm Android 2.1 & T-Mobile support

The tubes through which the internet flow were bursting with Google Nexus One speculation this weekend, with the prospect of an “official” Google Phone driving many Android geeks to madness. A leaked photo over the weekend confirmed that the Nexus One appeared to be based on the same HTC device we knew as the HTC Dream, and now Engadget have come up with a few new images themselves. The Nexus One in their shots is devoid of HTC logos and runs Android 2.1.

According to their source, the Google Nexus One has more homescreen panes on offer and new 3D elements to the app tray, while an overnight firmware update now adds the handset name to the device’s status page. Google have also added a webOS-style card preview of open applications, rather than the current dumb app switcher, and both Google Maps Navigation and Google Goggles are preinstalled.

The supplied documentation, meanwhile, points to a questions page at google.com/phone/support, not currently active, while the photos show both T-Mobile as the carrier currently in use and WiFi as being active. Apparently the tape on the back of the handset is covering a QR code. Speculation is currently leaning toward this being a developers’ device, in the same manner as the Google Dev Phone 1 and the Google Ion, offering Android coders higher-specification hardware to keep up with the latest range of devices using the platform.

More - HTC-made Google Nexus One certified by FCC

The “Google phone,” HTC’s Nexus One, was approved this morning by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission as model number PB99100.

The trio of filings (first, second, third) confirm a few technical details, such as microSD expansion, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

The report also raises new questions about the device’s potential carrier landing spot, with support for quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE with UMTS/HSUPA on 850/1700/1900 frequencies.

Translation: Hello T-Mobile, and perhaps AT&T, too.
