Lindsay Lohan Denied Phone, Twitter Access in Rehab
The reason you haven't seen many tweets from Lindsay Lohan is because she's not allowed on Twitter.According to a source, the actress "only allowed to use her phone for two hours a day, and only to keep in touch with family and close friends" while she's in the Betty Ford Clinic, The New York Post reports.
"Before, she would repeatedly and compulsively e-mail her friends if she was ever in a situation where she felt lonely, and she would vent on Twitter," the source continued.
It's typical Betty Ford policy for all patients, thus the troubled starlet to can "concentrate on herself," the insider explained.
Lindsay is back in rehab after failing two court-appointed drug tests. Earlier this summer, Lohan spent 13 days in jail and three weeks in a treatment facility when she violated her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest.
