Kylie Minogue Show off her Sexy on the stage for Glastonbury

Kylie Minogue beamed as she took to the stage tonight for her Glastonbury debut.

The 42-year-old singer wore a sexy see-through leotard and thigh high boots with disco ball-type mirrored detailing as she performed during the Scissor Sisters set.

She performed Any Which Way at Glastonbury with the Scissor Sisters’ frontman Jake Shears, who co-wrote her new album Aphrodite, from which her new single All The Lovers is taken.

It was a Glastonbury first for Kylie, who pulled out of the festival in 2005 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

And the broad smile on her face throughout her performance showed she couldn't have been happier to have finally made it to the world-famous music festival.

Speaking before her performance, Kylie said she couldn't wait to get back to performing live, explaining: 'It’s how I connect with people, that’s what I really wanted to do, get back on stage.'

Once and for All: Is Harry Potter Better Than Twilight ?

I'm so sick of everyone saying Twilight is better than Harry Potter or Harry Potter is better than Twilight. Which one is seriously the best?

iPhone 4 vs. Galaxy S, part deux: HD video playback

We just couldn't leave this face-off of superscreens alone, and went back for another bite at the cherry. Admittedly, we found out the Galaxy S had a browser-specific brightness setting that we hadn't maxed out before setting off our camera hounds, so we've gone and remedied earlier comparison shots with the gallery below, and just as a bonus, we've now also run a HD video clip on both phones. This was to see how the Hummingbird and A4 SOCs, considered close siblings, handled some taxing video work and also to again compare performance deep down on the pixel level. What we can tell you now is that both handsets chewed through the 1080p clip with ease and that both gave results we have no hesitation in describing as sublime. Click past the break for the up close and personal video comparison action.

Danish professor predicted iPhone 4 antenna problems on June 10

Well, this must be one of the most epic "I told you so" moments in the history of consumer electronics. Professor Gert Frølund Pedersen, an antenna expert over at Denmark's Aalborg University, managed to get his concerns about the iPhone 4's external antennae on the record a cool two weeks before the phone was even released. In an interview on June 10, the Danish brainbox explained that he wasn't impressed by Steve Jobs' promises of better reception, describing external antennas as "old news," and suggested that contact with fleshlings could result in undesirable consequences to the handset's reception:

"The human tissue will in any event have an inhibitory effect on the antenna. Touch means that a larger portion of antenna energy becomes heat and lost."

Machine-translated that may be, but you get the point. Researchers at Gert's university have already shown that over 90 percent of any phone's antenna signal can be stifled by holding it in the right place, but he's highlighting the specific exposure to skin contact as a separate issue to be mindful of. Good to know we've got sharp minds out there, and as to his suggested solution, Gert says phones should ideally have two antennae that act in a sort of redundant array, so that when one is blocked, the other can pick up the slack. So, what are we going to do now, Apple?

Vampires Rock! More Twi-messages for Miley Cyrus

Robert Pattinson thinks Miley Cyrus needs to see Eclipse. Taylor Lautner hopes the former Hannah Montana star digs werewolves. And Kristen Stewart is cool with Cyrus not liking vampires.

So what do Stephenie Meyer and some of the other Twi-stars think about Miley's public declaration that she hates our favorite kind of bloodsucking dead people? Read on to find out…

Stephenie Meyer: "I didn't like vampires before I started writing about them. I was so not into vampires. Maybe it will come to her when she's 30 like it did for me."

Peter Facinelli: "I'm not necessarily a huge vampire fan, but I do love the books that Stephenie Meyer created. I love that you don't see fangs. It's not a horror movie by any means."

Elizabeth Reaser: "I've always been a fan of vampires since I was a little girl. I loved all the Anne Rice books. Maybe Miley's resisting. Maybe they're so popular now that it's annoying or she's sick of seeing us."

Kellan Lutz: "She hasn't met me then. I would change her opinion on that, I'm sure. I have my ways."

Breaking Dawn Screenwriter Teases "Sensual Sex" Between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

This week's red carpet premiere may have been in honor of Eclipse, but screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg took the opportunity to give fans a major tease about Breaking Dawn.

A HOT, SEXY major tease, we should say!

Speaking to Hollywood Life, Rosenberg opened up about Bella and Edward's relationship in the fourth movie. She said:

“I can tell you the sex scenes are going to be sensual and they’re going to be delicious.

They’re going to be everything I would want them to be. They may not be as graphic as some people may want them, but I honestly don’t think graphic translates into hot. I don’t care if it’s PG-13 or R. I just want the hottest sex scene there is and I don’t necessarily think ‘graphic’ is the best way.”

In a word: Gulp!

In nine words: Can Breaking Dawn hurry up and come out already?!?

TVB's "Can't Buy Me Love" to broadcast earlier boosting Charmaine Sheh's popularity for TV Queen

Earlier it was rumored that TVB's two grand productions including Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh, Linda Chung, Fala Chen, Kenneth Ma and Susanna Kwan's "Can't Buy Me Love" and the highly anticipated Chai Gau, Wayne Lai and 4th Mistress, Sheren Tang's "Rosy Business 2" are scheduled to release as 2010's anniversary series. Last year's "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" released as an anniversary series to boost the popularity, but TVB saw that it still did not fall deep enough into viewers' hearts, so TVB plans to release "Can't Buy Me Love" earlier this year, during the summer season, in hope to boost their biological sons and daughters popularity. After Charmaine's "Beyond" battle with Sheren's "Rosy Business" last year, this year they go at it again. Wonder if "Can't Buy Me Love" early broadcast can successfully help Charmaine gain dominance this year?! "Can't Buy Me Love" producer Miu Siu Ching responded to the rumors, she expressed: "Nothing is confirmed yet, post-production for this series will be completed in July, but TVB is confident on whenever this series broadcasts. I watched the series a few times and I still can't stop laughing. I feel that the cast did very well on the acting. Moses did well, Charmaine can do the crying and the comedy. She really deserves the praises and appreciation. She's really the first line actress among the first line." Actually Fala Chen and Raymond Wong are in both and , to avoid complaints, this schedule is the best strategy.

Verizon Wireless continues the masculine marketing with the Motorola DROID X

As much as Verizon has promoted the Pre for the ladies, the wireless carrier has unabashedly marketed the DROID for the manly man amongst us. This virile marketing continues with DROID X and is exploited to its comical end in Big Red’s DROID X launch documents that were recently distributed to VZW employees. For the gallant and hardy, the DROID X is high octane fuel for your eyes and has an immense appsphere that will power you way past your mortal peers. It boasts of optics that spark robotics and allows you to watch every snot-bubbling tackle on its larger-than-life screen. So ladies, we have to ask – can you handle a phone that will give you ecstatic, dilated eyes and makes you more powerful than you’ve ever been before?

Test Shows iPhone Antenna Issue Impacts Voice Transmission Too

In this video, an iPhone 4 owner demonstrates how the antenna problem also affects transmission in voice calls. Using only one finger, the voice quality degrades, even dropping completely. He explains the process:

Demonstration of the new iPhone 4 showing problems with TRANSMISSION as well as reception. Note the substantial signal degradation (and subsequent audio dropout) at 2:45-2:50 and 2:58-3:01. By simply MOVING MY FINGER along the side of the iPhone, I can get the call to drop signal and audio!!

'Toy Story 3' dominates 'Grown-Ups' and 'Knight & Day'

Toy Story 3 continues its impressive reign at the box office with an $18 million Friday, but Grown Ups proves that Adam Sandler still has that box office magic. His PG-13 rated comedy, co-starring Kevin James and Chris Rock, scored a strong $14 million on Friday to put it on track fro a $40 million weekend. If the numbers hold, Grown Ups could match Sandler’s last big hit, 2006′s Click, which opened to $40 million and went on to gross $137 million. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz didn’t have as much luck with Knight & Day, their action-spy comedy that the studio opened on Wednesday to a weak $3.8 million. The movie grossed another $3.5 on Thursday and a little over $6 million on Friday. If numbers stay steady, the PG-13 rated film will earn $18.4 million for the three days and a five-day box office cume of $25.7 million.

The Karate Kid and The A-Team will round out the top five for the weekend. The Jaden Smith-starrer earned around $4 million on Friday for a weekend that’s likely to hit $15 million, which will represent a 48 percent drop. The A-Team grossed less than $2 million Friday for a weekend that should total $6 million, or close to a 60 percent fall for the actioner that will have only grossed around $62 million at the end of three weeks. That’s a whole lot less then Karate Kid’s cume, which is likely to stand at $135 million at the end of the weekend.

iOS 4.01 software update to arrive on Monday with a fix for antenna issue?

A circulating rumor suggests that Apple will be releasing an iOS update next week, perhaps as early as Monday, which will take care of the dreadful antenna signal attenuation issue that plagues the iPhone 4. The 4.01 update was referenced in a series of forum posts on Apple’s tech support forums that have since been removed, but not before readers grabbed the pertinent information and relayed it to the rest of the world. Of course, the success of this fix hinges upon the fact that the antenna issue is software-based and easily corrected with a quickly deployed update. If it is hardware-based, then Apple may have a bigger problem on its hands.

Pissed at Samsung, HTC ditches AMOLED in favor of Sony’s SCLCD displays

HTC must be really pissed at Samsung right now. Sammy’s just ruined what should have been a perfect party for the Taiwanese smartphone powerhouse.

By hitching their ride to Google last year, and agreeing to make Google branded Nexus One, HTC got their hands on the early builds of Android 2.1 OS, months before other competitors did. Which enabled them to start working on their own branded Android 2.1 handsets, the great Sense UI and all, well before anyone else.

As a result, HTC was first to market with branded and customized Android 2.1 superphones. And had this highly profitable category all to themselves, for the last two months. The only other Android handset with matching specsheet- Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 – was running Android 1.6, which is strongly inferior.

With no viable competition around, HTC Android handset sales exploded. Verizon’s Droid Incredible, Sprint’s EVO 4G, Desire – all were selling at a record setting pace for HTC. But, just as HTC rushed to increase production of their Android 2.1 flagships, around comes Samsung, and says – “Sorry, no more of those shiny bright AMOLED displays for you”.

Third Preview of Taeyang’s SOLAR album released! “YOU’RE MY”

The past two days revealed previews for Big Bang’s Taeyangupcoming first full length SOLAR album. First he released a minute long preview for the intro track and then a preview for the the second track SUPERSTAR. Now a minute long audio preview of the fifth track titled YOU’RE MY has been released.

As we reported earlier, YG Entertainment plans to release minute long audio samples of Taeyang’s tracks for six days until the 30th, with the album dropping on July 1st.

The track is very sweet, slow, and calming. My favorite thus far from the three previews. Thanks to everyone who sent this in and check out the preview below.

Android port for HTC HD2 overcomes big hurdle, finally getting close

The great thing about the HD2 is that it remains one of the most gorgeous pieces of smartphone hardware ever released -- but as long as it's saddled with the dead OS walking known as Windows Mobile 6.5, its stature in the power user community is perpetually stuck in first gear, no matter how pretty HTC has managed to make it. To that end, some of those very same power users have been working tirelessly to salvage the beast and shoehorn Android on there, but they've been tripped up by some errors involving the phone's Snapdragon core and the so-called HaRET tool used to boot Linux from Windows CE-based devices that have made a proper port seem all but impossible. Those hurdles have been overcome in the past couple days, though, which means a marginally consumer-friendly Android build might finally be within reach -- and considering that there's no proper EVO 4G equivalent from HTC in Europe yet, this project could have an awful lot of value.

Han Geng ready to spread his wings

Han Geng plans to fight a large Korean agency to gain his musical freedom, writes METRO's Xu Fan.

Singer Han Geng (or Han Kyung) wants nothing more than to throw away his mask and show his audience his true identity. The 26-year-old Chinese pop star, who has been developing his career in South Korea since 2001, actually had to wear a mask for a while when performing overseas because of broadcasting restrictions. Now, he is working hard to show his Chinese audience the man behind the mask. He strikes to become more successful on the mainland, even though that has meant embarking on a bitter lawsuit with South Korea's biggest pop music producer and agency, SM Entertainment.

On a sultry Beijing afternoon this week, Han stood on the Mu tianyu section of the Great Wall and declared that he will not give up in his fight to sever ties with the agency and begin to control his own destiny.

"The Great Wall is a miracle in this world and the pride of our nation. I think it's a perfect place to restart from," he said.

Han's lawyer, Li Guangbao, was also on the Wall to issue a statement on behalf of the star and an update on his lawsuit.

Li said the case is still before the courts and a judgment could take some time because South Korea has no restriction on trial length.

But Li said he thinks, ultimately, Han will be able to end his contract with the South Korean agency and begin to manage his own future.

When asked whether the slow-moving case is troubling him, Han replied: "Justice delayed is justice denied."

Lee Da-hae make big screen debut with "Song of Springs"

Korean actress Lee Da-hae will be making her big screen debut in an upcoming historical movie, according to the movie's producer Sang Sang Entertainment on Thursday.

A press release from Sang Sang announced that Lee will play the female lead named Ara in the film "Song of Springs," based on the novel of the same name written by novelist Kim Hoon, opposite Lee Sung-jae and Ahn Sung-ki.

"Springs" will be helmed by famed director Joo Kyeong-joong, who won best director at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards for "A Little Monk."
