Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart catch some Brazilian party spirit as they dance for fans on their hotel balcony

They have a reputation for looking particularly uncomfortable in public.

But being in the Brazilian party capital Rio De Janeiro seems to have momentarily affected Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

The normally sombre pair cheerily waved to fans from their hotel balcony this afternoon, and even performed a short dance.

They both wore sunglasses and were dressed casually with Stewart, 20, wearing denim shorts and a white vest top and Pattinson, 24, in a red T-shirt.

The pair, who are rumoured to be dating, are in the Brazilian city to film honeymoon scenes for the next Twilight film Breaking Dawn.

Michael Jackson “Breaking News” [AUDIO]

On Monday, Sony Records released the first original Michael Jackson tune set to appear on the late singer’s first posthumous album, dropping next month.

In the song “Breaking News” — recorded at the home of music producer Eddie Cascio while Jackson lived there for four months in 2007 — the King of Pop sings about how the media wants him to fall and croons about being treated shabbily.

Windows Phone 7 now on sale in the US

Check it Microsofties, it's time to get back into the game. While some phones have already launched in Europe and beyond, today is the first day that you can put down cash in the US for a Windows Phone 7 device all your own. The Microsoft online Store just loosed the HTC HD7 (T-Mobile), HTC Surround (AT&T), and Samsung Focus (AT&T). Rumor has it that the 4.1-inch Dell Venue Pro (T-Mobile) will be out on shelves at Microsoft retail locations today as well. So why not use that extra hour of wakefulness that Apple provided to think it over?

Update: Prices drop to as low as $149.99 at Dell Mobility (which still doesn't list its own Venue Pro) and $99 at Amazon Wireless when purchased with new service plans. The LG Quantum is up for pre-order too with Amazon claiming an 8 to 9 business day delivery.

RockMelt social browser launches in limited beta, we go hands-on

Been thinking that Firefox or Chrome browser of yours just isn't, say, social enough? Probably not, but RockMelt is hoping that's exactly what you'll think after you try out its web browser. The Mountain View startup, which is backed by web bigwigs such as Marc Andreeseen, has just released its new browser in a limited beta today, and it's -- as you probably may have guessed -- built entirely around social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. Using Chromium at its core, the browser naturally looks and feels a lot Chrome -- fret not, Incognito mode is still there -- but there are some clear interface tweaks. As you can see in the screenshot above, the left edge integrates your Facebook friends so you can chat, send messages or check out status updates no matter what site you're visiting. (Oddly, there doesn't seem to be a way to poke from the interface! Blasphemy!) The right column is meant for Twitter and RSS feeds -- both are updated in the background and use "push notifications" to let you know how many unread messages or posts you've got piling up. You can update your statuses from both rails as well as share the site you are reading by just hitting the large share button to the left of the search bar. It's all fairly straightforward and actually works quite well.

However, RockMelt is pitching itself as more than just a sharing platform -- it also claims to have improved the speed and ease of search. Instead of the search box taking you to a Google search page, it brings up the results in a box of its own and allows you to visit the different sites within the browser window -- basically, you don't have to keep clicking back and forth from that Google search page. It's fairly neat, and actually does seem rather snappy. So, when can you try out RockMelt yourself? We wish we had better news, but it's in a limited beta for both Mac and PC, so your best bet is to head over to the source link and give away your Facebook details (if you're cool with forking over that info). Based on our first impressions, it's definitely worth putting your name in the running.

Nexus One getting Android 2.3 OTA this week?

For an "Open" Handset Alliance, Google has been keeping its cards rather close to its chest when it comes to the oft-discussed Gingerbread flavor of Android, specifically whether it would be another point release or could it be spicy enough to knock us up to 3.0. Now it's looking confirmed that Gingerbread is indeed 2.3, with Alvaro Fuentes Vasquez, member of the leadership team at the Open Handset Alliance (and who shall now be known as "The Gingerbread Man"), delivering this tweet:

Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) in the next few days :-D

That's some good news for many N1 owners, and of course means it's time for those who possess other Android handsets to start with the hoping and the waiting.

Twins continues their April 2010 EVERYONE BOUNCE UP HK Coliseum concert in Macau this Saturday (11/13). Both Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung are busy with their own jobs, it is rare that they can take some time off to rehearse together, they even completely forgot their dance routines. EEG's CEO (Ng Yue) revealed on Weibo a few days ago that Twin will be releasing a Mandarin album next year, the news attracted huge response from fans. Fans suggested location for promotions and references for the production. Ah Sa complained: "Big brother (Ng Yue) can't keep a secret, when we release the album next year, it won't be a surprise anymore!" Ah Gil passed on fan's complaints that the Mainland promotions and locations weren't enough and hopes to spend more time promoting in Mainland.

Her chart success saw Cheryl Cole's No.1 single Promise This slip a place - however the X Factor judge's new album Messy Little Raindrops did hit the top spot.

The Smoking Jacket says JYJ’s “Ayy Girl” is one of the ten most horrendous boy band music videos

With JYJ releasing their first English cross over track and music video, “Ayy Girl,” featuring Kanye West, fans met the music video with mixed feelings. Some love the epic feeling of the music video, while others thought it could have been much better.

The Smoking Jacket however, felt it deserved a spot on their ten most horrendously terrible boy band music videos list, as they wrote:

“According to Guinness this is the biggest boy band (by fan base) in the world. Ever. They’re from Korea, and this is their attempt at an English crossover. The worst part? Not the white suits, but the Kanye West guest spot. What the f*ck.”

Harsh criticism indeed, what do you guys think?

MacBook Air has its fully upgraded 11-inch version reviewed

Apple's new MacBook Airs aren't exactly performance kings -- if anything, they're performance laggards given the finely aged internals they have -- but there is some room for upgrading them should you wish for a little extra oomph. AnandTech cornered the maxed-out 11.6-inch variant, with a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and 128GB of flash storage on board, and put it through the usual benchmark routine. In spite of costing a much meatier $1,399 than the $999 default config, the upgraded Air was deemed to be a worthwhile improvement as it delivered an average of 15 percent better performance at the cost of no more than seven percent of battery endurance. To our eyes, the biggest driver for these improved results was the jump from 2GB to 4GB of RAM, something all of us can bear in mind when contemplating our next laptop purchase.

Almost adult Miley Cyrus performs in yet another risque outfit on German television

She has been dressing much older than her age for quite some time now.

And as of this month Miley Cyrus will be able to wear all the see-through, leather and low-cut outfits she likes without causing a storm of controversy.

The soon-to-be 18-year-old, who reaches the milestone on November 23, was still raising eyebrows last night though when she performed in a sheer white dress that put her underwear on full display.

The revealing dress, made of white tulle material was completely see-through except for a design that slightly covered her stomach and chest.

'Megamind' kicks off holiday film season at No. 1

He didn't lay waste to the box office world, but the comedic super villain Megamind did enough to vanquish his foes at theaters this weekend.

The DreamWorks comedy kicked off the holiday season with the $130 million cartoon Megamind, which earned $47.7 million this weekend, according to studio estimates from Hollywood.com.

While some analysts projected an opening as high as $60 million, the debut met most projections and got the comedy, voiced by Will Ferrell and Tina Fey, off to a solid, if unspectacular, start for the rest of the year.

Lindsay Leaves Rehab for Movie Night

Lindsay Lohan's been getting a lot of special treatment at Betty Ford.

A few days ago she was allowed to leave to go on a shopping spree at Forever 21 and last night she hit the theaters.

Eyewitnesses tell Hollyscoop EXCLUSIVELY that Lindsay was at Borders book store at The River shopping center in Rancho Mirage on Saturday night around 9:30 p.m.

"She browsed for a little while then she paid for some magazines. Then soon after the bookstore closed she and two other females walked over at Century Theaters to watch a movie," the eyewitness tells Hollyscoop.

Lindsay was trying really hard to stay under the radar, she was barely wearing any makeup and was trying to hide under a hooded sweater.

Isn't she not allowed to leave rehab until January?? Seems like she's getting a lot of special treatment at Betty Ford. Shopping sprees, movie nights? Not too shabby!

New Michael Jackson Single: The Real Thing?

Has a new single by Michael Jackson truly been released?

According to Howard Mann, a partner with Jackson Secret Vault - a company that owns hundreds of MJ tracks, video and memorabilia - Katherine Jackson has decided to give the world a sampling of her late son.

"In an effort to overcome the confusion as to the authenticity of the track the estate has recently released we want to give an actual authentic Michael Jackson track to the world ... for free," Mann said.

There has been controversy for weeks over whether the songs in this company's possession are real or fake, as that debate was only heightened late last week when Sony released a teaser for Michael's upcoming Christmas album.

Dell Venue Pro launches November 8th at Microsoft stores, November 15th at Dell website?

We're finding it hard to hold back our enthusiasm for Dell's Windows Phone 7 slider, but come launch day the 4.1-inch Venue Pro may be a tricky one to find -- you'll need to line up at one of only seven Microsoft retail stores on November 8th (a likely date) if this allegedly leaked document is right. If you're willing to wait until November 15th, however, there's also Dell itself, which will apparently double as the only place you'll be able to go to get any support for the T-Mobile device. Neither niggle will stop us from nabbing one, however. For all we know, Lightning might not strike Windows Phone 7 twice.

SHINee avoids questions of Jonghyun's recent romance in favor of yummy Taiwanese snacks

Popular South Korean boy band SHINee recently touched down for their third visit in Taiwan since their debut, but due to the recent news whirlwind of SHINee's own Jonghyun dating South Korean movie actress Shin Se-kyung, the members of the pop group avoided taking questions from the media. Instead, the five guys of SHINee shifted their attention to one of their favorite things about Taiwan: their famous snacks. The group spent a significant portion of their press conference discussing their love for Taiwanese snacks such as bubble tea and Taiwanese-style steamed dumplings, while also noting that they considered Taiwan to be their "snack heaven".

SM Entertainment, the music label responsible for handling SHINee's everyday activities, made it distinctly clear to the media prior to their arrival in Taiwan that the sensitive issue of Jonghyun's recent romantic developments with a movie actress stay off-limits. So instead, the rest of the press conference also consisted of discussions behind the group's latest song "Hello". When SHINee's popular member Key revealed that the song is about a tender love confession, the romantically-involved Jonghyun couldn't help but break into a smile.
