Did Leonardo DiCaprio Pull Out of Mel Gibson Movie?

Leonardo DiCaprio might be a little leery of working with conspiracy-mired Mel Gibson -- RadarOnline.com is reporting Leo has withdrawn from a Gibson-directed viking film.

Asked if Leo still planned to be involved in the project, a source close to the 'Inception' star told Radar, "Not a chance." The film would have been the first collaboration between the two.

If officially confirmed, DiCaprio pulling out could be a major signifier of professional repercussions for Gibson in the wake of his alleged racist rant.

"Leo has earned the right to pick and choose who he works with and Mel Gibson is not one of them," Radar's insider said, citing DiCaprio's worries of risking his reputation by association with Gibson.

The Future of Big Bang, The Good Wife, Charlie Sheen and More...It's CBS' Day to Schmooze the Critics

We love us some Big Bang Theory. And hey, we know loads of people love Two and a Half Men too.

But lest there ever be a class-off between the stars of Chuck Lorre's two hit CBS comedies, you should hear what BBT's star Kaley Cuoco told reporters today.

CBS rolled out stars from its new and returning fall series in Beverly Hills today, as the 2010 Television Critics Press Tour kicked off, and here's what you need to know about what went down:

Justin Timberlake has landed a lead role in a big budget sci-fi blockbuster.

The “Cry Me A River” hitmaker – who has just finished filming ‘Bad Teacher’ alongside ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz – will star opposite the Mean Girls actress in the science fiction project if he accepts the part.

Motorola's second quarter better than expected

Motorola on Thursday reported a better-than-expected second quarter and said its enterprise mobility business did well. The company also said that it expects to gain smartphone market share with the Droid X launch.

The company reported second quarter earnings of $162 million, or 7 cents a share, on revenue of $5.4 billion (statement). Non-GAAP earnings were 9 cents a share. Wall Street was expecting earnings of 7 cents a share on revenue of $5.19 billion.

In addition, the company slightly raised its outlook for the third quarter. Motorola projected earnings of 10 cents a share to 12 cents a share for the three months ending Sept. 30. Wall Street was expecting earnings of 10 cents a share. Motorola’s outlook includes the results of its networks unit, which is being sold to Nokia Siemens. That sale is expected to close at the end of 2010.

Bieber fever: But if you want to outrun a horde of hysterical girls, Justin, maybe you should pick something faster than a Segway

Bieber mania has hit the States!

It was like a scene from the 1964 Beatles movie Hard Day's Night as legions of Beliebers hunted and chased down their pop idol on the street.

The 16-year-old tried to escape, zipping off on a Segway, but to no avail and he was eventually cornered by his crazed fans.

Bieber had been enjoying a little downtime with some friends when he was spotted by a group of teenage girls last Sunday.

The singer was riding around the Westgate market place on his Segway in Glendale, Arizona, where he was scheduled to perform as part of his My World tour.

Despite his best attempts at escape, when he was caught Bieber was a good sport, taking the time to pose for pictures and sign autographs.

All the crazy action was caught by an onlooker on his phone who then posted the hilarious video on You Tube.

“Titanic 2″ Sets Sail….In B-Grade Quality

A movie studio famous for its “mockbuster” B-movie spoofs of Hollywood hits has set its sights on James Cameron’s epic love story, Titanic.

The Leonardo DiCaprio-Kate Winslet-assisted smash captivated audiences in 1997 and until this year, held the distinction as the world’s highest-grossing film of all-time. Ah — sounds like the perfect target for the comedic minds at Asylum Studio.

On Wednesday, the studio released the trailer for Titanic II, set 100 years after the ill-fated maiden voyage of the world’s most famous cruise-liner. The straight-to-DVD film — which uses the tagline “Looks like history is repeating itself!” — follows the Titanic II as it travels along the same route on the same day as its doomed predecessor. When a tsunami hurls an iceberg into the ship’s path the passengers and crew fight to keep the ship afloat.

Dick van Dyke’s grandson, Shane, directs and stars in the film alongside former Baywatch babe Brooke Burns and X-Men’s Bruce Davison.

Titanic 2 hits Netflix this August.

Asylum’s other outlandish spoofs include Paranormal Entity, Snakes on a Train, Terminators, Pirates of Treasure Island, and Da Vinci Treasure.

Nokia N8 up for official €469 pre-order in Italy, available in September

Nokia's Symbian^3 flagship -- the 3.5-inch N8 with 12 megapixel camera -- just went up for pre-order on Espoo's Italian storefront showing an end of September availabilty. Now before you get up in arms about the €469 price tag (about $610), remember, the €370 estimated retail price announced was pre tax and pre carrier subsidy. That's just how Europe does things, deal with it. We're not seeing the preorder available elsewhere but we'll update you if that situation changes.

Joey Yung Denies Competing With Charlene Choi to be EEG's "Number 1 Big Sister"

Ancient time-costume romantic comedy movie "The Jade and the Pearl" will hit theatre screens mid-August. In the movie, Joey Yung breaks through her previous image, portraying a character resembling a brigand female queen.

In the movie starring Charlene Choi and Raymond Lam with secondary characters Joey Yung and Wong Cho Lam, Joey Yung acts as a brigand female queen (Cottage king), brave and fierce, rough and masculine. Joey Yung revealed that the director intentionally arranged for her to eat more, for the sake of gaining weight. Regarding for the first time starring in a movie, her on-screen image is a bit "ugly," but she expressed that she's very happy, "I hope to be like Karen Mok in "Shaolin Soccer", that sort of not having anything holding back." Joey also revealed that in the funny plot: "This female brigand has lots of funny behaviour, for example setting her mind to thinking a written war challenge is a love letter, the people she is the leader of are equally as clumsy as her, brave but without any plans, actually this female thief is very witty, innately with a desire to steal, making the movie filled with a comedy feel."

Will Natalie Portman Play the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo?

With a director, producer and Daniel Craig already signed on, and even a release date penciled in, the Hollywood adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is now on the hunt for its leading lady.

But the highly coveted role of Lisbeth Salander, the punky math genius and computer hacker in Stieg Larsson's best-selling mystery novel, won't be going to a familiar face in Hollywood.

Natalie Portman, Ellen Page and Carey Mulligan were rumored to be front-runners – and readers voted for casting Kristen Stewart in the role. But, according to an Entertainment Weekly report, four relatively unknown actresses are actually up for the role. They are:

Rooney Mara: Born and raised in New York, her showbiz career started with small roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and ER. Breaking away from the family business of sports – she's the great-granddaughter of Pittsburgh Steelers founder Art Rooney and Giants founder Tim Mara – she was recently seen in A Nightmare on Elm Street and will next appear alongside Justin Timberlake in The Social Network.

So Is The iPhone An “iPhone Killer” Killer?

Today, Reuters published this article. On their site, it seems fairly innocuous, with the title “RIM stock jumps as market eyes revamped BlackBerry” but that wasn’t the original title. And it’s not the one Reuters syndication partners are picking up. That title is “RIM seen unveiling ‘iPhone killer’ next week“. Yep. Here we go again.

If Reuters is to be believed, the BlackBerry 9800 set to be unveiled next Tuesday will destroy the iPhone. I’m not sure how yet. But it just will. Nevermind that fact that it’s at least the tenth or so phone to earn such a moniker — and the iPhone is not only still alive, but thriving — it just will.

Now look, generally I don’t have a major problem with declaring something a “XXXXX-killer” in headlines. Sure, it’s lazy, but it’s also an easy way to get readers to understand what a product is attempting to be. And it’s a hell of a lot sexier than saying something is a “XXXXX competitor.” That’s boring (and longer, to boot).

Apple to investigate iOS 4 problems on iPhone 3G

Some iPhone 3G owners who upgraded their phone to the latest iOS software have complained of slowness and shorter battery life. Apple now says it will be looking into the complaints.

That's according to what one spokesperson at the iPhone maker told The Wall Street Journal.

Since iOS 4 was released in mid-June, iPhone 3G owners have voiced problems with the phone seemingly grinding to a halt: slow keyboard response time, frozen unlock screens, and a battery that drains faster than with previous versions of the software.

One CNET reader told us, "The OS update has made my 2-year-old 3G massively slower in performing all tasks; it barely rings for 5 seconds before going to voice mail now! It freezes in typing, Web-browsing, and all other apps like it never did before iOS 4."

Demi Moore Miley Cyrus On Set Of “Laughing Out Loud (LOL)”

Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus are in Detroit this week, where the gals are filming scenes from the forthcoming comedy-drama Laughing Out Loud (LOL).

“In the moment!” Mrs. Kutcher said Tweeting a frame from the set on Wednesday.

The movie will be an American adaptation of a 2008 French coming of age film, about a 15-year-old girl struggling with her first broken heart and a strained relationship with her divorced mom.

Hung’s Thomas Jane and Ashley Greene of The Twilight Saga will also star.

Meryl Streep Tina Fey Team Up For Mother-Daughter Comedy “Mommy & Me”

On Wednesday, Sony Pictures greenlit a mother-daughter comedy featuring multi-nominated Oscar winner Meryl Streep and America’s Favorite Funnygal, Tina Fey.

Mommy & Me will feature the acclaimed actresses as a mother-daughter duo who embrace all the thorniest of multi-faceted parent-child relationships.

Stanley Tucci is stepping behind the camera to direct, continuing a lengthy working relationship with Meryl. Streep and Tucci co-starred in 2008’s Julie & Julia and the cinema hit The Devil Wears Prada. His directing credits include the critically-acclaimed Joe Gould’s Secret and Big Night.

Kylie Minogue Inspires New Paris Hilton Album

The next time you’re cruising down the Interstate having your ears molested by the sound of Paris Hilton screeching over an obnoxious techno beat, just blame Australian songbird Kylie Minogue.

Paris just can’t seem to get Kylie “outta her head.” So much so – she’s ripped some of her steez for her new album. New vocal stylings (or lack thereof) from the socialite/heiress will soon by waifing up from the AM/FM radio and Paris is drawing inspiration from the “Locomotion” pop icon as she readies her sophomore set — a follow-up to her 2006 debut, Paris.

Verizon Smartphones Use More Data Than the iPhone

According to a study, Verizon smartphone users use more data than iPhone users. That's right, on average, Verizon smartphones—Android, webOS, and Windows Mobile phones—pull in 421 MB a month of data. iPhone users only use 338MB.

The study was conducted by wireless billing vendor Validas and excluded Blackberry devices (because they compress data). It's sort of stunning that combining all Verizon smartphones together (even those lumpy old Windows ones) can out-usage the iPhone. It's proof that Android phones like the Droid X are really just sucking down all the bits they can.

Sprint reports $760 million net loss for Q2, slightly less than expected

Well, it looks like Verizon has a bit of company at the negative end of the earnings spectrum -- Sprint has now also reported a loss for the second quarter, although it's a slightly smaller one than expected. Specifically, the company posted a $760 million net loss for the quarter that's just ended, or 15 cents a share, which isn't exactly great, but is better than the 17 cent loss analysts had predicted. That gain is at least partly attributed to strong sales of the HTC EVO 4G, and by the company's best ever year-over-year improvement in net postpaid subscribers, which helped boost the number of wireless subscribers by 110,000 (for a total 48.2 million customers). Looking for some more hard numbers? There's plenty to keep you busy at the link below.

Gong Li, Charmaine Sheh exposed as academic frauds

In this era where information retrieval becomes increasingly easy, lying about your qualifications is risky. Especially when you are a public figure.

Hong Kong celebrity Charmaine Sheh's school, International Hotel Management Institute, was blasted as 'garbage' by netizens, as the school apparently only had 200 students in total.

Superstar Gong Li was found guilty of a similar fraudulent act a few years ago.

While the actress claims to be a graduate of Beijing University, she turned out to have only taken a self-study Sociology course there.

When Gigi Leung first rose to fame, she claimed to be student-singer with high qualifications. Reports later revealed that Gigi only studied for two years at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and she did not even graduate.

Apparently, not only Hong Kong and China stars were said to commit academic fraud. Korean actress Son Ye Jin claimed to be a graduate from Seoul Institute of the Arts.

The truth?

She was expelled by the school after merely a year of study there.

Fala Chen’s career takes off, possibly in the running for ‘TV Queen’ this year; Charmaine Sheh not concerned about awards

As the female lead in one of this year’s Anniversary Series "Can’t Buy Me Love", Charmaine Sheh is being viewed as the favorite to win the TV Queen award at the end of the year. Even so, it can hardly be said that she has no competition: with fellow TVB actress Fala Chen being elevated to ‘first-line fa dan’ status this year, the immense popularity she gained after her performance in the recently-aired series "Ghost Writer", the praise that she has received from various producers regarding her acting, plus her participation in BOTH of this year’s grand production Anniversary Series ("Can’t Buy Me Love" and "Rosy Business 2"), she could very well give Charmaine a ‘run for her money’ in the fight for TV Queen.

Kristen Stewart "Not Likely" to Be Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

Sony is getting closer to nailing down its kickass cast for Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Superstud Daniel Craig has already signed on to play Mikael Blomkvist, and the studio is rapidly searching Young Hollywood to cast Lisbeth Salander, the genius, troubled, bisexual female lead.

We thought Kristen Stewart would be perf for the coveted role (Ellen Page is a close second). If you've read the book, the attitude is so K.Stew. But we're sad to report Kristen's chances of being Lisbeth are "not likely."

It's a catch-22 for you Stewart lovers. You can thank Bella Swan as the reason why it's looking like Kristen won't be able to be a part of this successful franchise.

Mel Gibson Voicemail Tirade Released As Grigorieva Threatens Suit Over Stalled Album

Quick! Cover your ears, Mel’s cursing again: On Wednesday, the celeb-gawkers at RadarOnline.com released a series of profanity-laced voicemails that scandal-bitten actor Mel Gibson left for Oksana Grigorieva, the Russian-born singer/pianist with whom he has a daughter.

In a span of about five hours, the Braveheart actor left nearly a dozen voicemails for Oksana in the hours after the couple called it quits. The calls continue from approximately 10 PM on Feb. 18 to 3:06 AM the following morning, according to Radar. Oh — and just in case you were counting, Mel drops the F-bomb a staggering 23 times in just two minutes! Is that a record? Someone get me the statistics!

Lindsay Refuses to Leave Jail Until She Gets Hair Done

In the clearest sign yet that Lindsay Lohan will get out of jail this week, several top stylists as well as hair and makeup people that Lindsay loves in Los Angeles have been put on call from midnight on Thursday through the entire weekend.

"I am sure Lindsay will be sick of orange and jumpsuits and I definitely think ankle bracelets are out," Phillip Bloch, celebrity stylist and author of 'The Shopping Diet,' tells me. "Knowing Lindsay, I expect her to emerge in some skin tight jeans and some uber-trendy layered top. If I had the opportunity to dress her [Philip dressed Halle Berry when she accepted her Oscar] when she exits jail, I would put her in a soft and flowy sundress a la Natalie Wood. It wouldn't be bad to soften up her image at this point."

New Droid X Ad Thumps iPhone 4 Bumpers

Motorola's officially not pulling any punches, with a full-page Droid X ad in the NY Times today making it clear that their phone don't need no stinking bumper. If their last ad was a jab, this one's a full-on haymaker.

At first I was going to underline the part of the body copy that went after Apple specifically, until I realized that, well, the whole thing does:

At Motorola, we believe a customer shouldn't have to dress up their phone for it to work properly. That's why the DROID X comes with a dual antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like to make crystal clear calls without a bulky phone jacket. For us it's just one of those things that comes as a given when you've been making mobile phones for over 30 years.

Unconfirmed: White iPhone Delay Caused By Light Leakage

The Street (same people who claimed 1.5 years of free service for the iPhone at launch), now claims that the white iPhone delay is caused by light leaking out the edges, sides and back of the white phone.

Their source says that it's because of the glass that Apple can't easily cover up the light leakage, unlike if it were metal or plastic, where you can just add another coating of material. They also compare it to the Sprint EVO 4G leaking light, meaning that it's not a problem solely in Apple's manufacturing, but it might point again to Apple's pickiness about production quality that they won't let this get out the door.

So yes, this might be why your white iPhone is delayed.

LG opens new Widows Mobile / Java Application Store. Android apps promised for later

LG has announced the launch of a “new” Application Store in more than 20 countries around the world (mostly from Asia and the Middle East).

The Store contains more than 3,000 applications: half of them are made for featurephones (Java), and the other half for Windows Mobile smartphones.

By the end of 2010, the LG Application Store will also host apps for Android handsets (like the LG Optimus range).

LG plans to launch the Application Store in major European markets before 2011, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. By that time, the South Korean company hopes to offer more than 4,000 apps.

You can check out if LG Application Store is available in your country here at the store’s official website.

Zhang Ziyi to produce and star in 3D Mulan film

Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi is slated to both produce and star in a live-action English-language 3D film backed by Disney, based on the Chinese folktale Mulan, reported Chinese media.

The film will revolve around the lady warrior Hua Mulan (Zhang), who impersonates a man to enlist in the army in her elderly father's place and repel an invasion of her homeland.

Along the way, she becomes involved with fellow soldier General Li, who admires her and risks his life to hide her gender as state laws forbade women from joining the army.

Zhang was said to have been planning this film since last year, but the project got shelved due to funding problems after she became embroiled in a string of high-profile scandals.

She apparently went hunting for investors at the Cannes International Film Festival in May this year and managed to rope in Disney, who agreed to invest US$100 million (S$136 million) in the film.

US director Charles Russel, who had previously directed "The Mask" and "The Scorpion King", has been picked to helm this action-heavy film.

4Minute, KARA, Big Bang and So Nyeo Shi Dae – August is the month of Japanese activities for Korean idols

Korean idols will heat up the Japanese music scene.

This August, several Korean idol teams will be releasing their albums in Japan and start their Japanese activities.

First we have 4Minute, they will be releasing their new single ‘IMMM’ on 28th July. The girls have headed over to Japan on 27th July. Already earlier in May, the girls released their debut Japanese single ‘Muzik’ and the single went up to the TOP 20 chart on Oricon.

Next will be KARA having their official Japanese debut on 11th August. The MV to their Japanese debut song ‘Mister’ was released on 28th July, and they have flown to Japan on the same day to Japan to prepare for their activities for the song. Currently the song is already moving up fast on Oricon charts.

Megan Fox goes makeup-free on romantic lunch break with new husband Brian Green

As one of Hollywood's leading sex sirens, Megan Fox is usually groomed to perfection.

So it was a radical departure for the Transformers star to step out without a scrap of make-up, hair au naturel and in glasses as she had lunch with her new husband.

Perhaps wedded bliss to Brian Green has given the 25-year-old that extra little bit of confidence.

She certainly seemed to have a certain glow as she ambled around Studio City in Hollywood with the 37-year-old Beverly Hills 90210 actor.

Wearing a skimpy green T-shirt from Eighties kids' cartoon show Voltron and skinny jeans, while Brian was equally casual in white T-shirt and black trousers, the pair were out for a romantic leisurely lunch yesterday.

The actress and her new spouse married earlier this month at a surprise ceremony while on holiday in Hawaii.

The pair, who had been together for six years, met on the set of Hope And Faith in 2004 and married on the beach in Maui with only Brian's eight-year old son, Kassius, present.

Michael Cera, Chris Evans, & Jason Schwartzman Endorse “Pantless Saturdays”

The studs of 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World' -- Michael Cera, Jason Schwartzman and Chris Evans -- are introducing a new male trend in GQ's comedy issue: Pantless Saturdays.

"Monday through Friday belongs to our bosses, Sunday to our Lord," writes Brett Martin in the introduction to the hilarious photo shoot. "But Saturday, if only for a precious few hours, it's all about the boys -- about the sweet liberation that comes with standing tall and unfettered, proudly proclaiming, 'This, madam, is my junk. Now, kindly step aside and allow me into the museum.'"

Other highlights from the annual comedy issue include Bill Murray weighing in on making 'Garfield' ("I worked all day and kept going, 'That's the line? Well, I can't say that.' And you sit there and go, 'What can I say that will make this funny? And make it make sense?' And I worked. I was exhausted, soaked with sweat, and the lines got worse and worse.") and three covers with funnymen Paul Rudd, Tracy Morgan and Zach Galifianakis.

Jessica Simpson “American Idol” Judge?

Jessica Simpson’s reality TV days haven’t faded to black just yet. Word on The Snitch Circuit has it that the one-time Newlyweds star is being courted to take a seat on the judging panel of American Idol.

Simpson is currently in negotiations to become the next judge on the reality music competition, a show snoop reveals in the Aug. 9 issue of Life & Style. But don’t expect the Price of Beauty star to fill the coveted spot vacated by acid-tongued pundit Siimon Cowell last spring. Tattles say Simpson’s addition will be part of a “massive overhaul” headed to the tenth season of the long-running talent show and FOX and Idol are still on the hunt for a musically-inclined character to replace Cowell.

T-Mobile’s mystery HSPA+ device actually the HTC myTouch 3G HD?

Yesterday, we reported on the T-Mobile information page for a mystery HSPA+ device and subsequently on a theory that this device was the HTC Vision/Blaze. Now, to further cloud the rumor waters, Android Central has received an image that their tipster claims is the HTC myTouch 3G HD, and the T-Mobile mystery device. AC’s tipster described the device as a myTouch 3G Slide minus the slide-out QWERTY keyboard and with an HSPA+ capable radio. What do you think? Would any of you T-Mo customers sign up for an HSAP+, all-touch myTouch?

Best Buy to offer free invisibleSHIELD 4fix to aggravated iPhone 4 owners

It's hard to say for certain what exactly this flyer means, but it sure looks as if at least some iPhone 4 owners will be able to snatch a free invisibleSHIELD 4fix (valued at $9.99 or so) from their local Best Buy. Based on a number of tips that we've received, we're getting the impression that the yellow-tagged retailer could be handing out (and installing) completely free side coverings for any iPhone 4 owner that waltzes into a store, presumably as a proactive measure to fend off returns or to upsell consumers on an entire invisibleSHIELD / separate case. Nothing about this notice makes clear that you actually have to buy your iPhone 4 from Best Buy in order to take advantage, but we probably wouldn't waste a lunch break giving this a go without a verbal confirmation from your local store manager. Until it's made official, of course.

Eminem tops albums chart for a fifth week, fending off Rick Ross

Eminem just rode to a fifth straight week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album sales chart, selling another 187,000 copies of his Recovery according to Nielsen SoundScan. Scoring a big opening number is hard enough these days; sustaining such high sales for more than a month is rarer still.

Rick Ross, the man whom some expected to end Em’s chart reign, missed the mark by just 11,000 units in the end. Ross’ Teflon Don debuts at No. 2 with a solid 176,000 copies sold. That’s actually a bit higher than his chart-topping Deeper Than Rap did last year (158,000), so hopefully Ross is celebrating somewhere today even though he had to settle for second-best.

From there it’s a steep drop to No. 3, where we find Sheryl Crow’s 100 Miles from Memphis with an okay-not-great 55,000 copies sold. No. 5 goes to those irrepressible Kidz Bop Kidz, whose Kidz Bop 18 (featuring covers of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and more) sold 43,000. At No. 7 it’s the Jonas Brothers’ Jonas L.A. soundtrack, whose 32,000 bow hardly compares to the kind of digits they were once able to post.

Those were the only notable new entries in this week’s Top 20. What do you think? Surprised that first-week Rick Ross couldn’t quite beat fifth-week Eminem? Who do you think will finally knock Em out of that No. 1 spot?

Lady Gaga's Poolside Makeout Session

It looks like Lady Gaga's relationship with on-off boyfriend Luc Carl is anything but a bad romance.

After all, the "Paparazzi" singer was spotted by the, er, paparazzi on Monday using her poker face to suck face with him during a pool party at the St. Regis Hotel in Houston, Texas.

OK, enough with the lame song references.

Let's just say it's kinda nice for a change to see Gaga temporarily free herself from her wacky wardrobe to simply kick back, relax and spend some time not being Gaga.

Then again, the sight of her wading in the water dressed in any of her crazy couture outfits would actually be pretty spectacular too.

Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr Expecting Their First Child

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr sure can keep a secret!

Not only did the lovebirds recently pull off a totally under-the-radar wedding, but a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly that the Victoria's Secret model, 27, has been keeping something else classified as well: She's pregnant!

"She's definitely pregnant... Miranda's thrilled," says a source close to the Australia native, who wed the actor, 33, at an undisclosed location -- reportedly in the Caribbean -- less than a month after revealing their engagement on June 21. "She's telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it."

While the pal says no official announcement will be made, the couple of three years' big news will be hard to keep hidden.

"She poses in lingerie," says the friend of Kerr, who has modeled for Victoria's Secret since 2007. "It will be obvious soon enough."

The bride, who kicked off a Caribbean getaway with Bloom at Anguilla's Viceroy resort on July 17, certainly hasn't hidden her desire for a child.

"I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day," she recently told an Australian newspaper. "And I've always thought Orlando would be a great dad!"

Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt "Always Makes Me Feel Sexy"

A day after she flashed a lot of leg in a thigh-high Versace slit dress, Angelina Jolie covered up in a black spaghetti strap dress at a Salt press conference Wednesday in Seoul, South Korea.

"I think you feel sexy if you live an honest and bold life," she told reporters, according to the Korea Herald. "Maybe living life the way I've always lived it had something to do with that, but really, what makes me feel sexy is Brad. He always makes me feel sexy and desirable."

Jolie, 35, also praised Pitt, 46, for his parenting skills.

He's the reasons she's able to balance work and family life so well, she noted.

"I'm fortunate enough to work just a few months out of the year, and I have the luxury of having Brad help out as well," she said. "I have so much respect for everyday parents. For me and the best thing to do for myself is to combine my work and my children as much as possible."

She added that her kids are even accompanying her while she tours the world to promote Salt.

Zai Zai's kissing is considerate and skillful, non-stop laughter in "Love you ten thousand years" pre-screening!

"Love You Ten Thousand Years" held a media prescreening today at the Hsinyi Wei-Siu. Producer Peggy Chiao and director Kitamura appeared together with cast members Yuki Kato, Wang Yue, Wei Man, Zhulei An, and the light bulbs were flashing non-stop at the venue. Not used to being the focus of media attention, Yuki Kato was both excited and nervous, especially since the media persistently/ repeatedly asked her about the kissing scene with Zai Zai, making her blush.

Wang Yue* who is busy with theater stage work, took the time to specially come today, and also acted as the host and interviewed the film cast. Wang joked: "Really can't accept it, that such a funny local Taiwan movie is actually filmed by a Japanese!". Fortunately, the director Kitamura has a Taiwanese wife, so this was able to somewhat calm down the anger of sister Wang. Wang Yue also gave strong approval on the dedicated performance of the film cast, especially the female lead Yuki Kato - in order to take on this movie she diligently learnt chinese until she became quite fluent in it. Wang jokes: "I think the one who is the most tense now should be Tanaka Chie**! "

Jin Akanishi gets first No.1 since going solo

Jin Akanishi’s (26) movie “BANDAGE” has made its DVD sales debut at number one, figures released from Oricon today have revealed.

Released on July 23, the DVD has already sold more than 37,000 copies in Japan, making it top the DVD sales chart and has given Akanishi his first number one since becoming a solo artist.

The movie is set in the rock band boom of the 1990s, where LANDS (Akanishi’s band) have to overcome a number of challenges in order to make their professional debut. When the movie was released in Japan on November 21 2009, more than 70,000 pre-sold tickets had been bought by fans. This was the largest number of pre-sold tickets Toho cinemas had sold for a live-action film.

The number one record also beats Akanishi’s previous record for solo work, when the DVD box set for his drama “有閑倶楽部 (Yukan Club)” peaked at number nine in April 2008, with 20,000 copies sold.
