On Wednesday, Sony Pictures greenlit a mother-daughter comedy featuring multi-nominated Oscar winner Meryl Streep and America’s Favorite Funnygal, Tina Fey.Mommy & Me will feature the acclaimed actresses as a mother-daughter duo who embrace all the thorniest of multi-faceted parent-child relationships.
Stanley Tucci is stepping behind the camera to direct, continuing a lengthy working relationship with Meryl. Streep and Tucci co-starred in 2008’s Julie & Julia and the cinema hit The Devil Wears Prada. His directing credits include the critically-acclaimed Joe Gould’s Secret and Big Night.
