Paris tweeted this morning: 'About to take off. Going home now. So dissappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo'

HTC Desire HD detailed in appropriately HD video

Feeling like you're insufficiently saturated with Desire HD info? HTC's got your back, as usual, with one of its expansive video overviews, setting the specs and features you already know about to a background of soothing music and cutesy visuals. Nothing wrong with that, we say, and it makes for a great sales pitch if you're trying to convince your significant other of the life-changing benefits of purchasing said handset. Skip past the break, set your eyeballs to 720p mode, and enjoy the show.

HTC Desire Z dropping sooner & cheaper says Amazon; new HTC Desire HD listing tips £540 price

Amazon’s listing for the HTC Desire Z which we spotted last week has been updated, and both price and release date are headed in the directions we prefer the most: down and soon. The Desire Z is now tipped to arrive on October 11th – previously it was set to drop on the 18th – and Amazon are offering it SIM-free at £429.99 rather than the RRP of £499.99. Meanwhile it’s also been joined by a listing for the HTC Desire HD.

That, Amazon UK reckons, will also arrive on October 11th 2010, though you’ll need a little more cash to pick it up. The RRP is £539.99, which the retailer has slashed to £469.99. That gets you a 4.3-inch touchscreen (versus the Desire Z’s 3.7-inch panel) though of course no hardware QWERTY keyboard.

If you don’t want to spend all that money upfront, various UK carriers have announced that they’ll be offering the Desire HD and Desire Z free with a new agreement, though you might end up paying more over the course of your contract. Check out our hands-on with the HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z for more information (and video) on each Android 2.2 smartphone.

Photos released from upcoming Hallyu drama, “Haru”

With mere days until the premiere of the drama, “Haru“, we’re now being teased with photo stills of the cast behind the scenes.

Yunho’s character is an action star in a play, and you can see him banged up and slightly bloody in the photos. Lee Da Hae is looking as beautiful as ever, as she takes on the role of a screenwriter. You can also see Han Chae Young toting guns, looking both beautiful and fierce. Kim Bum is a photographer in the drama, and Big Bang is a group that holds a mini-concert for students of a school being shut down.

This drama looks like it’s going to shape up to be pretty interesting.

Glee is back with Season 2 premiere... and there's some hot new competition in town

Glee made an all-singing, all-dancing return to America's TV screens last night for the eagerly-awaited Season 2 premiere.

All the favourite characters were back with gusto - with a fresh batch of new faces coming along to spice things up and offer some hot competition.

Songs featured in the show included Jay-Z and Alicia Key's duet Empire State of Mind, and Lady Gaga and Beyonce's Telephone.

The action takes place with the Glee club still smarting from their loss at the Regionals.

After learning the Nationals will be held in New York, the group perform Empire State of Mind, with Rachel (played by Lea Michele) spotting a potential new member during the rendition - foreign exchange student Sunshine Corazon (Charice Pempengco).

The pair then have a vocal face-off in the bathroom, singing Telephone - but Rachel feels intimidated by Sunshine's talents.

AT&T "not worried" about loss of iPhone exclusivity

As the carrier with the highest number of dropped calls, lowest customer satisfaction rating, and smallest 3G coverage area, AT&T's lifeblood over the last few years has been its iPhone exclusivity.

However, the company seems to be deluded in its thoughts on how it will be affected once this exclusivity deal ends, reports Cultofmac.com. AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson spoke about the issue at an investor conference in New York, saying it's unlikely the customer base will drop AT&T just because the iPhone goes to another carrier.

He said that 2/3 of all iPhone owners were previous AT&T customers. So somehow this Stephenson guy thinks 1/3 is a small number, and if 1/3 of all iPhone owners dropped AT&T it wouldn't be a problem. Umm, most people would disagree with that.

Now, of course, no one is expecting that the moment a Verizon iPhone arrives, there will be a mass exodus of AT&T customers. However, with the iPhone no longer exclusive to AT&T, future iPhone buyers are going to be extraordinarily less likely to choose AT&T. By all metrics it is the worst of the four major carriers in the US. And Stephenson just doesn't get it. Of the millions of people who now have an iPhone in the US, 33% of them were not AT&T customers before. That's a big number.

Despite what anyone at AT&T corporate might say, losing iPhone exclusivity is a big deal. Like, a really big deal. Its profits are going to fall off a cliff as soon as another service provider announces its own version of the iPhone. Case closed.

Microsoft: All 5 major UK wireless providers will carry Windows Phone 7 devices at launch

Today, Microsoft announced that all five major UK wireless carriers — Orange, O2, T-Mobile, Three, and Vodafone — will be carrying handsets that run the Windows Phone 7 operating system. “It is wonderful now to have all of the UK’s network operators supporting the launch of Windows Phone 7,” said Alex Reeve, Microsoft UK’s director of the Mobile Business Group. We know plenty about the “who,” what we really want to know is the “when.”

HK actress Vivian Chow says no to kids

Hong Kong actress Vivian Chow has revealed that she and husband Joe Nieh have agreed not to have children, reported Chinese media.

"Thank you everyone for your concern, but I and my husband have a mutual understanding – we don't plan on having children.

"We have a lot of cats and dogs at home and they are like children to us. We don't even spend enough time with them (their pets). If we have children, we will have to divide our time even further," said Chow at a publicity event in Beijing on Tuesday.

The actress added that her in-laws were very understanding and did not pressure them to have kids.

Besides having lots of pets, the 42-year-old actress also admitted to owning way too many pairs of shoes.

"I have a dedicated room for my shoes at home. I have so many that I'd have difficulty looking for any particular pair.

"So I took photos of all the shoes I have, put them in an album and numbered them. I would then look at the photos to find the shoes I want," said Chow, pointing out that she spends a lot of money on shoes and bags.

Chow who enjoyed much popularity throughout the late 1980s and the 1990s as a Canto-pop sweetheart, made headlines last year after reports of her then boyfriend Joe Nieh cheating on her were splashed across the tabloids. The couple married in a low-key wedding in January 2009.

The actress had recently marked her return to showbiz after a 13-year hiatus with a role as a lesbian woman in Hong Kong director Ann Hui's romantic comedy "All About Love".

Rumored Nintendo 3DS specs include two separate 266MHz ARM11 processors, 1.5GB storage

The mystery of what's actually under the hood of the Nintendo 3DS is likely to elude us until launch date, when the inevitable teardown commences. That isn't stopping IGN, however, from pooling together its rolodex of sources to report what it believes the specs are: two 266MHz ARM11 CPUs, a 133MHz GPU, 4MB dedicated VRAM, 64MB RAM, and 1.5GB flash storage (in addition to the previously-known SD card expansion). If based on ARM11 architecture, it'd certainly be in good (if not wildly disparate) company: iPhone (original and 3G), the first two generations of iPod touch, all Amazon Kindles, Palm Pixi, a plethora of Nokia handsets, and... the Kin One and Zune HD. Two separate processors isn't too far fetched, either, as the original DS had both a 67MHz ARM9 and a 33.5MHz ARM7 (quite an uptick, eh?). Digital Media Productions took credit for the GPU back in June, claiming its Pica200 would be the chip of choice. That's got a maximum speed of 200MHz, which according to this rumor is being underclocked.

So, nothing that runs counter to the admittedly little we got via the 3DS' FCC leak, and still nothing to keep the Tegra 2 hopeful in check (poor souls). Those with a need to know so passionate it runs through their very being will, as we said before, probably have to wait until it hits retail. And we should find out when that is next week.

Lack of available leads plagued upcoming SETTV drama "X Channel"

Taiwanese broadcast channel SETTV, known for their top-quality and highly-rated dramas, faced a strange predicament as current idol drama "Zhong Wu Yen" finishes its run: finding new lead actors for upcoming follow-up drama "X Channel". With news of previous SETTV idol drama darling Ethan Ruan, whom wooed audiences in popular idol drama hits "Fated to Love You" and "My Queen", vowing not to star in any new idol dramas any time soon, SETTV originally hoped to rectify the situation by casting either brand name stars Mike He (Devil Beside You) or Show Luo (Hi My Sweetheart), whom have starred in idol dramas for rival channels. Unfortunately for SETTV, both sought-after stars declined taking part in SETTV's latest idol drama, paving the way for Joe Cheng to take another chance and redeem himself to his previous idol drama glory days such as in "It Started with a Kiss".

Finding a female lead for the upcoming drama has not been that much easier for SETTV either, since the channel's original female lead choice Sonia Sui (P.S. Man) has chosen to support rival Taiwanese broadcast channel FTV due to her boyfriend Yao Yuan-hao starring in that channel's hit idol drama "Rookies' Diaries". Instead, singer and recent award-winning movie actress Amber Kuo will fill in to replace SETTV's original lead female choice.

Christopher Nolan Wants To Make An Inception Video Game

The director of The Dark Knight and Memento wants to turn his latest film, the $750 million grossing Inception, into a video game. Just don't expect it any time soon.

Variety reports that Nolan has said "one thing we are looking at doing is developing a video game based on the world of the film, which has all kinds of ideas that you can't fit into a feature film." As a universe and gameplay mechanic, an open world Inception game sounds all kinds of right, given the right incubation period.

"That's something we've been talking about and are looking at doing long-term, in a couple of years," Nolan adds. "Long-term" sounds much better than trying (and failing) to build a quick cash-in game tied to a theatrical or DVD release, a la Pandemic's failed The Dark Knight adaptation.

Nolan is on deck to direct a third Batman film, due summer of 2012.

HTC Trophy with Windows Phone 7 caught in the wild ; HTC HD7 schematic illustrates our Windows Phone 7 future

HTC Trophy with Windows Phone 7 caught in the wild?

HTC Trophy isn't an entirely new name 'round these here parts -- in fact, we've seen it twice now on two documents that have propagated the internet before their respective time. But this is the first claimed sighting of such a device, and according to Pocketnow, what we're looking at is indeed the Trophy itself, packed with Windows Phone 7. And that's about all we can say here, as there's no indication of price, release date, or if this is actually one of the many other WP7 devices HTC has cooking. At any rate, have no fear, the manufacturer's all but guaranteed to bring you numerous options from which to choose.

Is Justin Bieber Dating “Baby” Love Interest Jasmine Villegas?

Kim Kardashian and former Belieber Sydney Dalton can rest easy. It looks like those Biebs Fanatics are going to have a new lady to send death threats too.

Justin Bieber has been snapped locking lips with the beautiful girl that appeared as his love interest in the “Baby” music video.

That’s right, the teen sensation has fueled rumors that he is dating singer Jasmine Villegas after they were photographed cuddling in the back seat of a car. A tourist spotted the 16-year-old making out with Villegas, also 16, in the back of a Honda after Bieber’s recent show in Venice, California and quickly snapped a photo.

RIM launching tablet device at Developer Conference, BlackBerry handsets using new OS?

This is something that has been rumored about for a while, so here is what the Wall Street Journal is reporting… RIM will announce and show off their new tablet device at DevCon in San Francisco next week at their BlackBerry Developer Conference. Moreover, RIM has even larger plans for the new OS the tablet will run. What is said to happen, and something we have figured would happen, is that the new OS that is powering the BlackPad (or whatever name BlackBerry selects) based on work from QNX, a company RIM acquired early this year, will also power BlackBerry smartphones in the near future. This would give Research In Motion a clean break from their aging operating system which is basically tapped out right now. If RIM continues to use the current BlackBerry OS for future devices, their ability to innovate and advance along with the rest of the industry will be pretty limited. With a new OS, however, this could be great news for Canada’s favorite tech company. Food for thought, though? The OS that is currently powering the Blackberry tablet and ultimately BlackBerry smartphones is based on Adobe Flash.

HTC director confirms Windows Phone 7 phones launching next month

It's unclear whether the dude was speaking out of turn, but an HTC regional director responsible for North Africa and the Middle East has gone on record with gulfnews saying on no uncertain terms that the company "will be launching Windows Phone 7 handsets next month." Of course, that lines up nicely with just about everything we've been hearing lately -- not to mention the torrent of HTC-specific leaks we've seen -- and if true, it gives Microsoft a pretty generous buffer ahead of its holiday 2010 guidance for the platform's commercial release. He goes on to say that HTC will be releasing "around five more models by end of the year," though it's not clear how that mix will fall between Android, Windows Phone 7, and possibly even Brew MP; the Desire HD and Desire Z seem like a nice way to close out the year on the Android side of things if you ask us, which leaves plenty of room for awesome WinPho hardware. Sliding landscape loudspeakers, anyone?

Not welcome! Paris Hilton denied access to Japan after cocaine arrest

It was another bad day for Paris Hilton today.

The heiress was detained and questioned for six hours over her recent arrest for cocaine possession after landing at Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan last night - questioning that resulted in Hilton being declined entrance into the country.

Paris had flown via private jet to Tokyo with her sister Nicky, 26, where they were due to debut their fall/winter fashion collections.

The 29-year-old socialite was detained at immigration and questioned over her recent, well publicised, arrest and conviction of cocaine possession and obstructing justice.

Showtime Renews “The Big C” & “Weeds” ; HBO “Boardwalk Empire” Season 2

Showtime has ordered new seasons of its dark comedy hits, The Big C and Weeds.

Viewers will be treated to the premieres of Season 2 of The Big C and the seventh season of Weeds early next year, Showtime announced on Monday. The network cited “record-breaking premiere night ratings for both original series” as the reason behind the early renewals.

“The unprecedented viewership for both The Big C and Weeds proves that audiences love these shows as much as we do,” Showtime President of Entertainment David Nevins said in a statement Monday.

Jodie Foster Standing By Mel Gibson During “Dark Moment”

In the October issue of More Magazine, Mel Gibson’s longtime pal and collaborator Jodie Foster opens up about taking up arms for the actor as he wages war in a public relations nightmare of epic proportions.

Jodie was steadfast in her support of Gibson when asked for her thoughts on the actor’s racist, misoygnistic, and expletive-filled telephone tirades against Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva — the mother of his youngest child.

”[He] is the easiest, nicest person I’ve ever worked with. The second I met him, I said, ‘I will love this man for the rest of my life,’” Jodie tells More.

“When you love a friend, you don’t abandon them when they are struggling. Of course, Mel is an undeniably gifted actor and director, and ‘The Beaver’ is one of his most powerful and moving performances. But more importantly, he is and has been a true and loyal friend. I hope I can help him get through this dark moment.”

Of course, Jodie has a blockbuster reason to remain on Team Mel. She is directing and co-stars with Mel in the upcoming movie, The Beaver, which sees Mel playing a depressed man who finds hope in a beaver hand puppet.

Verizon: Our Apps Aren’t About Taking Over The Phone — It’s About “Choice”. Puke.

About a week ago, we noted that Verizon was gearing up to launch its own app store for Android phones. This app store, called V CAST Apps, would be completely separate from Android’s existing Market for apps. In other words, it’s Verizon kicking their partner Google in the man region.

Of course, we all knew neither side would spin it that way. And sure enough, today we have Verizon’s take. During their Verizon Developer Community Conference earlier this afternoon, the company took the time to respond to the charges that they were taking over control of Android devices with maneuvers such as this. Jkontherun has a good overview of what was said, but Verizon itself was tweeting key parts. Here’s my favorite:

V CAST Apps is NOT out to take over the phone. It’s about choice, and about simplicy [sic] – carrier-billing — and quality — great apps.

Oh Jesus. Here we go again. It’s not about control or money — no, of course not. It’s about “choice”. Excuse me while I vomit in my mouth.

Does anyone really believe that Verizon really cares about choice here? What they care about is not ”becoming a commodity connectivity provider,” as James Kendrick puts it. And that’s fair enough, there’s nothing wrong with a company wanting to be successful and maintain their success. But I’m sick of this spin that all of this is for the betterment of all. Verizon cares about making money just like every other company and that’s why they’re doing this.

Ayumi Hamasaki’s “blossom” PV featuring Jaejoong released

Last week, a short version of Ayumi Hamasaki’s long awaited PV for “blossom” was unveiled. Now, the full length version of the PV has been released.

The PV features Jaejoong of JYJ / TVXQ and has a really touching story. This is Ayumi Hamasaki’s first music video where she doesn’t star in, as she believed that she “would be talking too much.”

Thanks to everyone who sent this in and check out the video below.

Reactions to this year’s Golden Bell nominations

The 45th Golden Bell Awards nominations were finally announced on Monday after much anticipation. It dominated entertainment pages on the following day as expected, and quickly became a hot topic amongst netizens (specifically on PTT.) Now that we’ve had some time to let them sink in, let’s take a look at the hits & mostly misses of this year’s GBA nominations.

Many were disappointed that Ady An was not nominated for her performance in “Autumn’s Concerto”. Despite being a huge hit, the drama only received one nod for marketing. “Down With Love” shared a similar fate as its lone nomination came from the same category. Netizens mocked the Golden Bell saying Van Ness Wu and Jerry Yan were recognized for their valuable marketability after all.

Nice work if you can get it! Blake Lively films a steamy on-set make-out with hunky co-star

And she gets paid for this?

Blake Lively was spotted on the set of Gossip Girl this morning in New York filming a steamy make-out with her hunky co-star Sam Page.

Lively looked gorgeous in a full length grey satin and lace evening gown, and even though the actress looked the picture of elegance and high fashion she made sure she kept comfortable, pairing her dress with some comfy Ugg boots.

Meanwhile Page looked pretty good himself, dressed in a black tuxedo suit and bow tie.

The two took their time going in for the kiss before ending in a passionate clinch.

But it wasn't all passion and romance on the set as Lively and Page burst into laughter after filming their make-out session.

Page, who shot to fame on the hit show Mad Men, is playing the love interest of Lively's Gossip Girl character, Serena Van Der Woodsen.

Blake and her co-stars have been filming all summer, heading to Paris as well as their native New York and displaying a massive selection of designer outfits in the process.

Windows 7's 'halo' effect boosts PC makers' customer satisfaction scores

But Apple retains big lead over rivals that rely on Microsoft's OS

Call it Microsoft's Wndows 7 "halo" effect.

Most PC makers gained ground in the latest edition of a major customer satisfaction survey because they like Windows 7 a lot more than they did its predecessor, the much-maligned Vista.

"Computer manufacturers have to live with the vicissitudes of the software that Microsoft makes," said David VanAmburg, managing director of the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), a survey founded by the University of Michigan.

"But they're benefiting now that customers are perceiving the quality of the machine to be better because the machines are easier to use," said VanAmburg, who credited Windows 7 for boosting scores.

Windows 7 launched last October to rave reviews by most technology analysts and pundits, and has been a huge hit for Microsoft, which said it had sold 175 million licenses for the new operating system through late July.

Lady Gaga Proclaims Meat Dress as Gay Rights Symbol

When Lady Gaga called out to her little monsters and amped up her political campaign against "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" at a rally in Portland, ME, on Monday, people looked drunk on daydreams about Gaga for President. But that was before she confused people by comparing her famed meat dress to a political symbol for gay rights.

"Equality is the prime rib of America, but because I am gay, I don't get to enjoy the greatest cut of meat my country has to offer," Gaga proclaimed to the rally crowd. "Shouldn't everyone deserve to wear the same meat dress I do?"

Nokia exec: Using Android like 'peeing in your pants' for warmth

In our globally connected world, some things are lost in translation. But, perhaps, not all things.

In a delightfully expressive commentary on the wisdom of using Android, Nokia's outgoing chief smartphone person, Anssi Vanjoki, declared that those who use Android are, philosophically speaking, "peeing in their pants" like Finnish boys do to keep warm.

At least this is how the Financial Times reported it.

There seemed to be no explanation why it was only boys who perform this peculiarly Finnish ritual. However, he did offer that cell phone manufacturers who use Android are only giving themselves temporary relief, being somewhat blind to the stinging possibility that Android-use will not bring them long-term profits.

If many manufacturers go the Android route, so the argument goes, where will be the differentiation? There is such a thin line between having a well-functioning operating system and one that, in real people's eyes, is simply a commodity.

Is Kim Kardashian Really Dating Chris Brown?

Well, that didn't take long.

The obit had barely been written on Kim Kardashian's relationship with NFL star Miles Austin before she was linked to notorious hip-hop star Chris Brown. Just one little thing: Is it true? Is Kardashian texting Brown, as it were?

No, a source close to Kardashian star tells E! News, refuting Monday's breathless item on MediaTakeOut.com. (For what it's worth, a source close to Brown was said to have said otherwise to the hip-hop site.)

But enough with sources: What do the alleged love birds have to say for themselves?

"I literally laughed out loud at these dating rumors today! Come on now MTO," Kardashian tweeted from Milan, where she's wrapping up a European publicity tour for Keeping Up With Kardashians. "I literally can't keep up anymore, not true!"

Brown's Twitter feed has been mum on the report.

Maybe he didn't know he was dating Kardashian, and had no idea he was supposed to be denying it?

Samsung Galaxy Tab Amazon price slashed to £600

We mentioned Amazon UK’s November 1st listing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab yesterday, and now it seems the retailer has decided to slash the price a little more. The 7-inch Froyo slate has now crept under the £600 mark: yesterday Amazon were asking pre-order customers for £679.99, whereas today it’s just £599.99 ($932).

That’s for a SIM-free, unlocked version of the Galaxy Tab; we’re expecting carrier subsidized models to be cheaper again, though of course on the condition that you sign up to a likely two year agreement. It’s £200 less than what Amazon are quoting as Samsung’s RRP of £799.99, too, though since the South Korean company is yet to publicly confirm a price we’ll have to take the retailer’s word for that.

Unfortunately, the one thing that hasn’t changed overnight is the release date, which remains at November 1st. Samsung told us back at IFA 2010 that the Galaxy Tab would arrive in Europe sometime this month, with US availability pegged for October; it now seems that might not quite be the case.

Sandra Bullock For “Gravity” Movie?

Sandra Bullock is the latest actress linked to the lead role in Warner Bros.’ upcoming sci-fi epic Gravity.

Gravity narrates the story of a female astronaut who traces her way back to earth after satellite debris hits her space station. The female lead has the maximum screen time similar to that of actor Tom Hanks’ role in 2000’s Castaway.

Although Closer star Natalie Portman remains the first choice of the Mexican lensman Alfonso Cuaron, WB execs are reportedly eyeing Bullock, who recently earned a spot on Forbes Magazine’s list of the highest-paid actresses in Tinseltown. Producers believes the expensive special effects that will make Gravity a blockbuster require a big name to draw audiencs to the theater.

Nokia says the N8 is not delayed, but it probably is

If you don’t count the not-yet-officially-announced N9 or the more business-focused E7, the Nokia N8 is probably Nokia’s most expected handset of the year. And sort of a flagship device.

It’s been announced for ages. The official unveiling was actually in April, believe it or not. And the device still isn’t shipping. The official word at first was “Q3″, which then turned, by way of rumors and, well, time passing, into “the absolute end of Q3“.

Yesterday saw official word from Nokia come out regarding the situation and that seemed to indicate a delay of a few weeks in the smartphone’s shipping.

Paris Hilton Detained in Japan

Paris Hilton's legal woes have followed her from Nevada to Asia.

After pleading guilty Monday to two misdemeanors in her cocaine case, the heiress flew to Japan for a business trip but was stopped by immigration officials at Tokyo's Narita airport, according to local reports.

Authorities were considering refusing Hilton, 29, entry into the country because of the drug charges and sentence, which includes a year of probation, $2,000 fine and completion of a substance-abuse program, Jiji news agency reports.

Hilton has reportedly been staying at an airport hotel while the matter is resolved.

"Paris Hilton was delayed by immigration authorities at a Japanese airport this evening after arriving for business obligations planned many months earlier," her spokesperson tells PEOPLE. "Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn't want to let down her brands and many Asian fans. She intended on fulfilling her contract and is trying hard to do the responsible thing, but this is beyond her control. She is very disappointed by tonight's events."

The socialite's trip in Asia was to include an unveiling of her 2010 fall/winter collection of fashion accessories in Tokyo with younger sister Nicky, 26. But the event has been cancelled, according to Jiji.

There Was a New Twitter Exploit and It Was Spreading Like Wildfire

Twitter is seriously screwed up at the moment, thanks to a new Javascript exploit that's currently slamming the service. Visitors of Twitter's website are inadvertently retweeting spam and porn to their followers, just by hovering over tweets. UPDATE: Patched

Update: As of 9:50, Twitter says "The exploit is fully patched."

The exploit takes advantage of the Javascript function onMouseOver, enticing users with colorful blocks of text—"rainbow tweets"—and then retweeting those messages automatically when the block is moused over. In some cases the links launch pop up windows, in others users are being directed to spam and porn sites. Update: Commenter RawheaD points out that one variant turns the whole browser window into a MouseOver area, so putting your mouse anywhere in the window will trigger a retweet.

Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 1.5TB totes USB 3.0

Seagate has updated its FreeAgent GoFlex external HDD range with the industry’s first 1.5TB portable external drive. Entirely bus-powered – and so requiring no dual-USB cable or PSU – the new GoFlex comes as standard with the company’s USB 3.0 adapter, which is also backward compatible with USB 2.0.

Of course, it also means owners can snap off that adapter and use Seagate’s FireWire version or, indeed, slot the drive into one of the various desk docks and multimedia players. Seagate offers a range of these, from the GoFlex Home NAS through to the GoFlex TV HD we reviewed a few months back.

Seagate are asking $229.99 for the new 1.5TB FreeAgent GoFlex – $20 less than MRSP – which is available to order now.
