Jennifer Lopez's sequinned minidress reveals a lot more jiggle in her diva wiggle

She has become world famous for her stunning figure and especially her shapely derriere.

But another wardrobe malfunction revealed that Jennifer Lopez is only human as she took to the stage in San Juan, Puerto Rico with husband Marc Anthony.

The 41-year-old's green sequinned minidress was perilously short and as she turned around to leave the stage with her 42-year-old husband, she inadvertently revealed her dimpled thighs.

Like 90 per cent of women, despite following an intense exercise regime which has seen her compete in a triathlon, the shapely star has not managed to avoid the inevitable.

Apart from when she was pregnant, the mother of twins, Max and Emme, two, has rarely fluctuated in size, and she worked hard to quickly regain her pre-pregnancy size.

Adios, Jesus! Madonna steps out with her new toy boy, back-up dancer Brahim Zaibat

It seemed she had settled down once and for all with toy boy Jesus Luz.

But now Madonna has stepped out with a new younger man, confirming reports she has ended her relationship with Brazilian model Luz.

The 52-year-old singer was photographed leaving a cinema in New York with backup dancer Brahim Zaibat last week, whom she is thought to have been dating for the past 'few months'.

A source told gossip website X17Online.com: 'They've been seeing each other for a few months but really keeping it on the down low.

'Madonna did not want this getting out before she had time to see if things were really going to work out between her and Brahim or not.

'Things have been going well so she was about to go public with the relationship anyway.'

Can Apple's iOS really beat Google's Android?

Steve Jobs obviously thinks so (or at least wants investors to think so), based on Apple’s investor call today. As was widely reported today, including on the ZDNet Between the Lines blog, Jobs took Google to task over its fragmented Android platform and the way in which its “open” ecosystem benefited neither consumers nor developers.

But can one OS on a very limited range of carriers and devices really beat Android in the long run, no matter how fragmented? After all, Android’s fragmentation is both its greatest weakness and a sign of its greatest strength. The fragmentation of the OS and apps is a direct result of a highly competitive marketplace offering extensive choice for consumers in terms of carrier, handset manufacturer, form factor, etc.

BlackBerry PlayBook 64GB confirmed, plus 5,300mAh battery [Video]

RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet won’t be reaching the market until 2011, but the company has shared a few more hardware details at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) this week. According to RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie, the PlayBook will be available in a 64GB version as well as the 16GB and 32GB models already confirmed, and use a 5,300 mAh battery.

That puts it on a better footing compared to the Apple iPad, the first generation model at least, which is also available as a 64GB model. Of course, by the time the PlayBook arrives, Apple may have launched their second-gen iPad, and RIM will be left playing catch-up with the rumored PlayBook 2 in the second half of 2011.

Shoujo Jidai’s (SNSD) ‘Gee’ dance version MV unleashed!

Having already released the Japanese version MV for their “Gee” single earlier this month, SM Entertainment has now released a dance version music video which is sure to delight fans.

During the MV filming for “Gee”, the girls did two full dance routines in front of the camera.

Some portions of the dance were incorporated into their finished music video, but the dancing videos just shows the dance routine and nothing else.

For some reason I prefer the dance versions over the actual music video.

Ron Ng and Raymond Lam denies becoming enemies due to fighting over Linda Chung

Recent triangle love rumors started between Raymond Lam, Ron Ng and Linda Chung. Raymond had always been rumored with Linda, but Ron and Linda "sparked" after they started shooting a new series. Towards this, Raymond and good brother Ron was rumored to have become enemies because of this. Last night at the TVB 43rd Anniversary Lighting Ceremony, the three rumored leads generously took a group photo.

Raymond was unsure of what the triangle love rumors are all about, he expressed that he just got off the plane and did not see the report. It was said that he's been pursuing Linda and lost to Ron Ng? Raymond said: "We never started, why would I lose?" Towards the rumors that because they were fighting for Linda, the two brothers became enemies. Raymond frankly said that the rumors is a joke because shooting series if it's not rumors then it's gossips about fall outs. They have been brothers for more than 10 years and the relationship won't change. Asked if Ron and Linda match? Raymond said: "We all match anything, can do any type of pairing, but I am just saying match on-screen." Raymond joked that the rumors with Linda has been going on too long, this time with Ron involved, he can finally get out of it.

Linda did not respond to the made up news. Ron also expressed that he has no intentions to pursue her. He explained: "Shootin intimate scenes, we are just accommodating the scene." It was said that he complained on Weibo: "A friend disappointed me." To avoid more speculations, Ron explained again: "The friend I was talking about was a friend outside of the industry. My relationship with Raymond will not be affected."

Czech this out! Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner film Mission: Impossible IV scenes in Prague's freezing waters

Talk about suffering for your art!

Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner braved bone chilling temperatures on Saturday night as they plunged into water measuring around 14 degrees Fahrenheit in the Vltava river.

The pair were filming scenes for the upcoming Mission Impossible IV.

The weather was so cold you could see the breath forming around the actors' mouths. However, neither was allowed to wear a wetsuit for their waterlogged action scenes.

While Cruise, 48, was lucky enough to don a black leather jacket before leaping into the chilly waters, Renner, 39, had to film his scenes wearing nothing but a suit.

First Listen: Taylor Swift Takes the High Road With "Mean"

Consider this Taylor Swift's response to all the haters out there.

"When you do what I do, which is you put yourself out there for a lot of people to say whatever they want...there's a million different opinions," Swift says in an exclusive interview with E! News, part of an ongoing series leading up to the Oct. 25 release of her third studio album, Speak Now.

"I get that, no matter what, you're going to be criticized for something," says the 20-year-old. "But I also get that there are different kinds of ways to criticize someone. There's constructive criticism, there's professional criticism—and then there's just being mean. And there's a line that you cross when you just start to attack everything about a person."

Hear Taylor put it all into perspective in the clip above, which includes a sneak preview of "Mean," the sixth track off the new album.

Be sure to watch E! News tonight at 7 and 11:30 for more with Swift, and get your exclusive E! News preview of "Story of Us" from Speak Now on Oct. 22.

AT&T offering a free month of Zune to folks who buy a Windows Phone 7 handset this year

We already knew AT&T was giving away ilomilo and a free month of U-verse Mobile to folks who buy one of its glorious Windows Phone 7 phones. What else? Well, AT&T is tossing in a free month of Zune Pass for good measure. Now, Microsoft already offers 14 day free trials to the Zune-curious, and there's nothing stopping other carriers or Microsoft itself extending this deal to the rest of the world -- we think the "first one's free" method of addiction generation is particularly great for subscription music. Still, it's nice to know AT&T has such an offer sewn up. Now that the Xbox is getting a native Zune UI at long last, how about a free month of Zune for Xbox Live subscribers as well? Microsoft can afford it.

Android Chief Andy Rubin Sends His First Tweet — And It’s Aimed At Steve Jobs

Well would you look at that. Earlier today, Apple CEO Steve Jobs went on a bit of a tirade against Google and Android in particular. And you know that couldn’t have made Android chief Andy Rubin too happy. But how was he going to respond? Well, he decided to awaken his dormant Twitter account and send his first tweet tonight. And sure enough, it’s clearly (but subtly) in response to Jobs.

Without further ado, here is Andy Rubin’s first tweet:

the definition of open: “mkdir android ; cd android ; repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git ; repo sync ; make”

For those keeping score at home, that’s Rubin using some geeked-out lingo to explain exactly what open is to Steve Jobs. In other words: Android.

Well played.

Mike He enjoys being less popular; signs new management contract with HIM

Mike He’s management contract with TVBS ended back in September of last year, and he has been his own manager ever since. During the year, Mike has received 15 different contract offers from different management companies including some in Japan and the Mainland – an agency even guaranteed a sixty million (TWD) bonus. But Mike revealed that he has a strong sense of insecurity, so he waited until he could sign with a management company that he can trust.

After much negotiation, he decided to go with HIM; He explained that HIM has not only showed their ability in managing with commercials, dramas, and music records, but most importantly, he felt the trust towards the company as it had once managed his good friend and actor Dylan Kuo. Manager Ying Hui-Ling of HIM expressed, “HIM is an all-round management company. (We’re) very happy to be working with Mike He.”

The "3 Gods" teases TV King and Queen candidates at TVB 43rd Lighting Ceremony

Last night, the TVB 43rd Anniversary Light Switching Ceremony was held in Tseung Kwan O. Besides Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung, Kevin Cheng and Bernice Liu who were absen, every Fadan and Siu Sang from the station attended. Hot favourites for this year TV King and Queen, Wayne Lai, Sheren Tang, Moses Chan and Charmaine Sheh were arranged to stand in the first row. The popular contestant from The Voice, Mag Lam had only been in the industry for a very short period of time, but was arranged to stand in the first row as well.

Last night, the "3 Gods" Wong Cho Lam, Johnson Lee and Louis Yuen all took the TV King and Queen candidates to joke around with. They said: "Wayne Lai goes to the supermarket, not to buy anything, just busy chatting with the housewives, he went 'short' (crazy). Moses Chan has no first line rumored girlfriends (implying that his rumored partner is not in the first line). Sheren Tang won't give her award to anyone, only to God. Charmaine Sheh is not human, she's a snake." Myolie Wu's rumors with Bosco Wong were used as a joke by the 3 Gods making Myolie cover her face in embarrassment. Then the "3 Gods" clarified that: "Besides us three who has gotten plastic surgery, no one in TVB has!"

Breaking Dawn Birth: "It's Intense. It's Really Intense"

I've got Breaking Dawn baby news for you!

Nope, none of the stars are expecting a new bundle of joy (at least not that we know of), but…

Jackson Rathbone tells me that the cast is very impressed by screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg's treatment of the much-talked-about birthing scene in B.D. "I think people are really, really excited and surprised about how tastefully it can be done," he said at Spike TV's Scream Awards.

Nikki Reed echoed Rathbone's enthusiasm. "It's intense," she said. "It's really intense."

"I play a pivotal role in this, because this is what Rosalie has always wanted, you know what I mean?" she continued. "So, I'm working really hard. I'm with my acting coach every day, three hours a day...I really care about this and I want it to be good."

Although they'll be shooting both B.D. movies until next spring, Rathbone and Reed know that saying goodbye when they wrap won't be easy. "I've had an amazing time working with the cast, and the fans have been incredible and so supportive of all us," Rathbone said. "It's going to be sad."

"It's not ending for a long time," Reed said with a big smile. "But I'm going to be sad and here's why: I'm working with really great people, people that I love. I've worked with some really talented directors. I've traveled all over the world with the series."

Miley Cyrus Takes on Paparazzi, Breast Cancer

It's painful, but true: we must give props to Miley Cyrus for both the videos posted below.

First, the singer clearly learned from this incident and handled a confrontation with a photographer in a mature, reasonable manner over the weekend. She pulled her car over; calmly explained to a paparazzi member that he was driving recklessly and the police were on their way; and then returned to her vehicle.

Watch and see what we mean:

Meanwhile, in the following PSA, Miley takes on an even more important cause than putting this loser in his place. She tells fans how they can help her and other celebrities in the fight against breast cancer.

It's worth a minute of your time to find out how.

Steve Jobs' soundbites: His thoughts on RIM, Android, tablets and notebooks

Steve Jobs appeared as a special guest on today’s earnings conference call with analysts, making a statement about its competitive forces and fielding questions from analysts about the growth potentials and his outlook on market shifts.

The company reported a strong fourth quarter, generating more revenue than Google does in a full year, boasting record sales of iPhones and a strong start to a category that it pretty much owns: the tablet PC. Here are some bullet points on his talking points.

Gingerbread Leak: Android's Excellent New Skin Job Will Add Video Chat and Wi-Fi Calling Too

Some of the first concrete details about Android 3.0 Gingerbread are pretty goddamn exciting. It's a smoother, faster, better Android—potentially with built-in video chat and Google Voice Wi-Fi calling.

Here's what Phandroid details, alongside the worst leaked picture in history. Imagine a lot of the aesthetic and UI improvements in Android 2.2, taken to the next level:

• Most of the icons are redesigned and cleaner.
• The notifications bar is more grey, with a look not unlike TouchWiz's taskbar.
• The whole interface looks more unified with green becoming the most prominent color. The included Google apps will feel more integrated with the OS as well.
• Lists now bounce when you hit the bottom or top, like iOS or Windows Phone, but with an orange glow at the boundary too.
• They're working on implementing video chat using the same protocols as Google Talk, though it might not make it into Gingerbread. (This would be great, because it'd be a legit competitor to FaceTime, especially since it'd cross the desktop boundary.)
• They're also working on VoIP calls to Google Voice over cellular data and Wi-Fi

This is all pretty much exactly what Android needs to be competitive with iOS and Windows Phone 7, though we'd sure like to see the launch of some the features Google demod at I/O as well, like Google Music. Fortunately, there's likely more to be seen. Check out Phandriod's full account.

'Whip My Hair' Video Arrives, Willow Smith Remains Awesome

The 'Whip My Hair' video is here, and Willow Smith has transcended from Jada and Will Smith's 9-year-old kiddo to a legitimate star. Seriously -- the video stacks up to the incredibly catchy, Rihanna-sounding song with killer outfits, fun classroom dance pieces and, yes, tons of hair whipping -- with paint!

The video was directed by Ray Kay, who also helmed the sensational shoots for Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face' and Justin Bieber's 'Baby.'

Next Apple iPhone (Verizon model) hits “AP” field test stage, iPhone 5 hits “EVT” stage?

One of our solid Apple sources has just let us know some pretty interesting (and exciting) information surrounding Apple’s upcoming iPhone devices. For starters, we have been told that iPhone model 3,2 — what everyone is assuming to be the Verizon (or at least CDMA-compatible) phone — just hit the “AP” testing stage. This is the very last stage before retail release; final hardware, almost final software. Here is the odd thing, though… the iPhone 3,2 unit, we have been exclusively told, contains a SIM card slot. This is interesting for a multitude of reasons, and presents several different scenarios:

* The iPhone 3,2 could be the mythical CDMA + GSM/HSPA device that would support Verizon, AT&T, and the other current worldwide iPhone 4 carriers frequencies. The mid-cycle refresh would bring an updated antenna design for the current iPhone 4 and bring CDMA-compatibility; essentially, Verizon Wireless subscribers would have the same device as AT&T subscribers.
* The iPhone 3,2 could be a CDMA-capable iPhone that houses a SIM card for global roaming capabilities; though that certainly seems more complicated than just having one single glove that would fit both hands.
* One last possibility that the iPhone model 3,2 would simply be a slightly different design that doesn’t suffer from the same antenna attenuation as the current model; though that would be a little disappointing.

As far as the next generation iPhone 5, our source has also indicated to us that device has hit the “EVT” stage in the development cycle. The “EVT” stage is the engineering verification test phase, before the “DVT” phase.

Megan Fox Joins Ensemble Comedy “Friends With Kids”

Box office bombshell Megan Fox will join Mad Men’s Jon Hamm in Jennifer Westfeldt’s upcoming indie film, Friends With Kids.

The plot follows a number of couples in their thirities, who reflect on the influence having children has on other people’s relationships and resolve to avoid these pitfalls. The comedy revolves around a pair of thirtysomething best friends who, having seen the toll having kids has taken on the couples around them, decide to have a child and then date other people.

“It’s a very literate script and when Jen met with her she thought Megan was spot on,” according to Cinetic Media’s John Sloss.

Westfeldt, who wrote the script, will star and produce. Westfeldt and Adam Scott will play the lead couple. Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig will co-star, which Fox is set to play one of the women Scott’s character begins dating.

Friends With Kids is scheduled for release in April 2011.

HTC HD7 vs. Desire HD: battle of the 4.3-inchers

Come October 21, European smartphone buyers will be faced with the enviable choice of having to pick between two 4.3-inch handsets from HTC bearing the latest and greatest OS from their respective camps. The HD7 will be one of the flag-bearing Windows Phone 7 devices, whereas the Desire HD -- which is already sneaking out into retail in some small quantities -- offers the finest Froyo dessert Google has yet cooked up, replete with some extra sprinkles of Sense-ible enhancements. We'll have full reviews of both in the coming days, but for now, we thought we'd whet your appetite with a tour round their oversized bodies, both in pictorial form below and on video, right after the break.

Another blow-out quarter for Apple: $20 billion in revenue

After selling more iPads, iPhones, and Macs than ever, Apple has posted its best quarterly earnings yet.

For its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings, revenue clocked in at $20.34 billion, and earnings at $4.31 billion, or $4.64 per share. That's an increase in revenue of 67 percent from the same quarter a year ago. Investors were expecting revenue between $17.87 billion and $19.86 billion, and earnings between $3.43 and $4.41 per share.

The breakdown of sales in each business area looks like this: 3.89 million Macs sold during the fourth quarter, 27 percent more than a year ago; 14.1 million iPhones, 91 percent better than a year ago; 9.05 million iPods, up 11 percent; and (the number everyone had been waiting on) 4.19 million iPads during their second quarter of availability.

iPad sales can only be compared to the one previous quarter of sales (around 3 million), but were lower than the 4.7 million unit sales many analysts were expecting. COO Tim Cook cited supply issues, saying inventory was up to a three-to-four week's supply, but not up to his ideal four-to-six week supply.

Dicky Cheung’s Weibo account hacked; false rumors of illness scare friends

Dicky Cheung’s Sina weibo account was hacked into yesterday morning. Claiming to be Dicky, the hacker daringly left several false messages on his weibo, saying 1) he has stomach cancer and it’s in the final stages, 2) he is separating from his wife Jess Zhang, and 3) he is leaving the HK entertainment industry. These messages caused a lot of fear and concern from Dicky’s friends and fans, many of whom moved quickly to get in touch with the artist. Dicky, who was at home sleeping when the incident occurred, acted quickly to clarify matters and notify friends and family once he found out what had happened.

Yesterday morning at 3:11am HK time, the hacker left the first message on Dicky’s weibo: “Recently, I’ve been really tired…after much thought and struggle….I have decided to leave the Hong Kong entertainment industry due to personal reasons, and will never retract my decision!” 20 minutes later, the hacker left 2 more ‘bombs’on Dicky’s weibo: “My ‘fate’ with Ms Zhang [Dicky’s wife] will have dissipated as of this posting” and “This afternoon, I went by myself to the hospital to get my medical report – stomach cancer, final stage.”

'Iron Man 3' to come to theaters in 2013; Disney picks up marketing rights

Disney, Paramount Pictures, and Marvel Studios have announced via press release that Iron Man 3 will be released in on May 3, 2013. Under a new deal, Disney will be responsible for the marketing and distribution of the film, and will also oversee The Avengers. (The studio paid Disney $115 million for the transfer of rights.) Paramount will be releasing Marvel’s Thor on May 6, 2011 and Captain America on July 22, 2011. “Five years ago, when Paramount and Marvel made our initial deal, both our businesses were in very different places,” Paramount CEO and Chairman Brad Grey said in the release. “We are grateful for the partnership we have had with the terrific Marvel team over these years and proud of the work we have done together. Today, this new agreement is the right deal for Paramount, for Marvel, and for Disney. We look forward to working together on Thor and Captain America, and we wish Disney and Marvel the utmost success, in what we know will be a very productive and wide-ranging partnership.”

There Will Never Be a 7-Inch iPad

In a withering rant on emerging rival tablets like Samsung's Galaxy Tab, Steve Jobs basically confirmed there will never be a seven-inch iPad. It's too small.

He explains that the screen size of the seven-inch tablets coming out is really just around half of a ten-inch tablet, which isn't good enough for them. "This size isn't sufficient to create great tablet apps, in our opinion. While one could increase the resolution of the display to make up for some of the difference, it is meaningless unless your tablet also includes sandpaper, so that the user can sand down their fingers to around one quarter of their present size."

That explains why the mysterious seven-inch iPad never made it past the prototype stage. "We don't think you can make a great tablet with a seven-inch screen" because it can't "express the software" very well. Steve says that Apple thinks a "10-inch screen is [the] minimum." He also seems to poo-poo the idea of having multiple tablet sizes, again out of concern for the software: "Software developers aren't gonna deal real well with all these different sized products, when they have to redo their software every time the screen size changes..."

I know Steve Jobs has publicly decried things before turning around doing them—proclaiming "no one reads" and then launching iBooks—but his condemnation was so in-depth, blistering and specific, it might actually stick this time. (Plus, it's largely true, given my own experience with the Galaxy Tab.)

That said, Steve's still pretty up on tablets themselves: "We've got a tiger by the tail here. This is a new model of computing."

Tiger. By. The. Tail.

Kanye West: Walmart denies banning his racy cover artwork

Walmart had nothing to do with nixing Kanye West’s NSFW cover artwork for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, reps for the retail giant tell EW.

West referenced the chain in a snarky tweet last night, writing, “In all honesty … I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers #Kanyeshrug!” A report in the Los Angeles Times cited concerns within West’s label about “whether or not mass-market retailers such as Best Buy and Wal-Mart would carry an album featuring venomous nudes.” But Walmart is doing its best to stay out of this story.

“We’re excited about Kanye West’s new album and we look forward to carrying it in our stores on November 22nd,” a Walmart spokesperson says in a statement provided to EW. “As always, it’s our standard practice to carry the edited parental advisory version. We did not reject the cover artwork and it was never presented to us to view.”

Note especially that last part: Walmart never even saw the cover artwork, let alone “banning” it. So any internal Def Jam debate involving the store must have been a strictly hypothetical one.

Has Facebook lost control of the Platform?

This time around, Facebook may actually have seen its privacy Watergate: A report in The Wall Street Journal on Monday found that the phenomenal amount of personal information that Facebook members put in their profiles may indeed have been sold extensively to marketers, advertisers, and data collectors. The big question, appropriately enough, is what did Facebook know and when did it know it?

Here's what happened: When Facebook members agree to connect their Facebook credentials to any of the hundreds of thousands of applications that implement its third-party developer application programming interface (API), they are giving those developers access to their Facebook member ID numbers and in turn all publicly available information about them on Facebook (which includes names and lists of friends).

The problem, according to the Journal, is that some of these third-party companies, including extremely popular ones like FarmVille manufacturer Zynga, were selling that data to advertisers and tracking companies in violation of Facebook's terms of use. Some of those tracking companies, too, were matching up Facebook user data to other personally identifying information that they had on hand, in effect putting together puzzle pieces into clear pictures of unsuspecting users' identities.

Apple TV hits 250,000 in sales, says Steve Jobs

Deep within the heart of Apple's fiscal earnings call Q&A session, straight from the mouth of CEO Steve Jobs: "I can report that we've sold a quarter million Apple TVs." Quite an impressive number for a device that's only been out for 18 days but by no means on par with the likes of some other Apple debuts (the iPad, for instance, sold 300,000 on day one). Still, not bad for the once (and possibly still) hobby.

'Scream 4' trailer: I scream, you scream, everyone in the cast screams

The Scream 4 trailer that debuted at the Scream Awards was appropriately scream-filled. (Watch it below courtesy of an attendee.) But was it actually scary? For me, the most chilling scene from any of the Scream movies is still the franchise opener of Drew Barrymore on the telephone, when she’s unable to yell out to her parents as they come home. That’s what horrifying — not her mother screaming when she finally sees her daughter hanging from a tree, stabbed multiple times. Building that kind of stomach-turning suspense takes time that a trailer (at least one debuting at the Scream Awards) won’t allow. But that’s the kind of clip I can’t wait to see. During daylight hours. Which is when I’ve seen all the Scream films.

For more on Scream 4, check out EW’s Reunions issue, on stands now. As director Wes Craven says promisingly, “The first [Scream] was very much observing where horror had been for the last 10 to 20 years. And this is very much looking at where horror has been for the last 10 years. There’s always somebody trying to figure out what the rules are to keep from getting killed.”

iPad as PC? Apple Would Be Number One U.S. Computer Maker

When talking sales figures, tablets have generally remained in a separate category from the PC. But what if tablet numbers – namely those from Apple's iPad – were combined with PC sales? One analyst suggests that iPad plus Mac would make Apple the number one computer manufacturer in the U.S.

"We believe the iPad should be included," in data about PC sales, Deutsche Bank research analyst Chris Whitmore wrote in a Sunday note to investors.

MacBook Air might drop in two sizes with 50% larger battery

With Apple's big OS event just days away, MacBook Air refresh rumors are hitting hard. According to Cult of Mac, Apple will unveil 13.3-inch and 11.6-inch models, along with a 50% bigger battery, a much lower price, and more. Details!

A MacBook Air refresh has been a long time coming; Apple's ultraportable notebook has seen its competitors get lighter, faster, and cheaper at an alarming rate. Improvements in the new model include up to 10 hours of battery life, a "boxier" design (think iPhone 4 versus 3GS), upgradeable RAM (starting at 2GB) and SSD drive, NVidia GeForce 320M integrated graphics (like the current MacBook), and "considerably cheaper" pricing—possibly as low as $1000 for the netbook-sized model and $1100 for the 13-incher. I'll believe that when I see it.

The MBA's also expected to have two side USB ports and an SD card slot for expandable memory, along with a Mini DisplayPort adapter and a straight MagSafe power plug.

One area that's still in contention is the processor; Cult of Mac seems to think that the MacBook Air will house a 2.1Ghz Core2Duo, which would be surprising given the availability of ULV Core i5 and Core i7 guts that seem like a perfect match.

SNSD’s website updated with teasers for 3rd mini album comeback!

Many of you are eagerly awaiting Shoujo Jidai (SNSD’s) release of their Japanese version of ‘Gee’ on October 20th. However, before that happens SNSD’s official website at SMTown has recently been updated with their Korean comeback with various teasers and photos for their 3rd mini album.

Currently, the only teaser photos are released for Jessica, Tiffany, and Seohyun. It seems like they’re going for a bit of a retro / Charlie’s Angels type theme with guns and weapons.

Microsoft to spend one billion dollars advertising Kinect and Windows Phone 7

Microsoft's serious about making Kinect a success. A $500 million kind of serious. That's the latest report, courtesy of the New York Post, on the change Steve Ballmer and company intend to drop to make sure that every living and breathing creature in the US knows about the controller-free controller this holiday season. That mirrors earlier analyst estimates placing the Windows Phone 7 marketing budget at a similar figure, which in total would amount to a cool billion dollars in advertising expenditure. We already know Microsoft's scooped the Old Spice Guy for WP7, but Kinect is getting the extra special carpet bombing treatment with Burger King, Pepsi, YouTube, Nickelodeon, Disney, Glee, Dancing with the Stars, People and InStyle magazines, and even Times Square all having a role to play in spreading the word. Yup, it's gonna be pretty hard to miss it.

Report: Mel Gibson Mounts Comeback in 'Hangover 2'

Mel Gibson has been in Hollywood jail ever since the disastrous fallout from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva went public, and now he's planning his great escape, starting with a cameo in 'The Hangover 2,' according to New York Post's Page Six. He'll reportedly be playing a tattoo artist.

"It's a done deal," a source told Page Six. "Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October."

The 'Hangover' sequel catalogs yet another disastrous vacation for Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, which this time takes the boys to Thailand.

Fortunately for Gibson, he has some experience playing roles as weird body artists. Back in 1997, he played "Scott the Body Piercer" in a short scene in 'Father's Day.'

Also, the guys from 'The Hangover' are starting to make a habit out of rehabbing controversial celebrities with key cameo roles, as they did for Mike Tyson in the original movie while he was recovering from his "drug abuser" image. Similarly, Tom Cruise pumped some new life into his career when he played Les Grossman in 'Tropic Thunder.'

Neither Gibson or Warner Bros. have commented on the report.

Samsung Galaxy Tab up for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse for £530

We continue that elusive hunt for an official Galaxy Tab price with the most reliable (though still not authoritative) number yet: £530 ($850) from the Carphone Warehouse. Already announced as one of the first retailers to offer the device in the UK on that November 1 launch date, the Warehouse outfit has now set its price for the 16GB Tab at exactly the level of the 3G-equipped iPad. Coincidence? We think not. This is highly likely to be Samsung's final pre-subsidy pricing, leaving it up to network operators to tempt us with some aggressive discounts. We can only hope.

Bosnia Doesn't Hate Angelina Jolie After All

It's going to take more than just a technicality to keep Angelina Jolie out of commission.

Just a few days after Bosnian officials put the temporary kibosh on her directorial debut over concerns with her script (namely, its absence from her application to film in the country), Jolie's production is back on track today.

Nice to know red tape doesn't just affect the little people.

"We were promised by the Ministry of Culture that the permit will be issued on Monday," the director of Scout, the Bosnian production house working on the as-yet-untitled film told ABC News. "It was supposed to be done on Friday, but now it is sure to happen Monday."

The permit was rescinded due to some crossed wires last week. Jolie's production neglected to include the full script when submitting their application to film in the country, instead attaching only a synopsis. Then something happened which, really, should've been no surprise to Jolie: the rumor mill took over.

Anne Hathaway "Fell Apart" Doing Sex Scenes With Jake Gyllenhaal

When Anne Hathaway reunites with her Brokeback Mountain costar Jake Gyllenhaal for Love & Other Drugs (in theaters November 24), the actress hopes audiences aren't scared away by the film's raunchy sex scenes.

"This movie certainly has a lot of nerve," Hathaway, 27, tells the November issue of Vogue.

In the film, Hathaway plays a free-spirit named Maggie who hooks up with a Viagra salesman named Jamie (Gyllenhaal) -- roles that required both actors to strip for the cameras.

"These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off -- in a way, their bodies are their currency," she explains. "But they're terrified of exposing their vulnerability, of becoming emotionally naked."

But Hathaway admits that unlike her character, she didn't feel nearly as comfortable exposing herself emotionally and sexually.

"I was a wreck from start to finish. I think I cried every single day," she says. "I had to lean so much more heavily on everyone around me than I'm used to. I’m used to pulling my own weight. But I totally fell apart."

Keira Knightley Scarlett Johansson As Princess Diana In “Diana” Biopic?

Former Pirates of the Caribbean actress Keira Knightly and Golden Globe-nominated blonde Scarlett Johansson are in chats to be cast as Princess Diana in a new movie called ‘Diana’ based on the life of the Princess of Wales, film industry informants have reportedly revealed to London’s Daily Mail.

Knightley is at the top of the list of a number of actresses, which includes Johansson, vying to play the royal humanitarian, who perished in a car crash in 1997.

The film, to be produced by English production company Pathe, will chart Diana’s life from her childhood as Lady Diana Spencer in the British country through her turbulent marriage to Prince Charles and her sudden death. Diana is expected to hit theaters in 2011, just in time for what would have been Diana’s 50th birthday, The Mail reports. (Next year is also expected to bring a long-awaited marriage proposal for Kate Middleton, who has been dating Diana’s oldest son, William, for more than five years….)

Dame Helen Mirren, 65, is tipped to play Diana’s mother, Frances Shand Kydd.

“The project is in the early stages, but Pathe has chosen 2011 quite deliberately. It will be in the same vein as their movie ‘The Queen’ and will detail the ups and downs of Diana’s marriage and the early lives of the Princes,” the insider explains.

Tiger Woods Exact Divorce Payout: $110 Million to Elin

Tiger Woods' pricey divorce from jilted wife Elin Nordegren cost him $110 million, RadarOnline.com reveals for the first time.

An inside source told Radar that Elin has not been flaunting her fortune, however, citing a recent trip from California to Florida on a standard Virgin flight rather than a chartered jet. "She could afford the jet but didn't even consider it," the source said. "She's not cheap, but she's just not throwing money around and wasting it the way some people would."

Nordegren employs nannies to help care for her two children with Woods. "But she has cut back some of the hours some people work. She's not acting like she hit the lottery."

Though $110 million is a massive sum, a source tells Radar that Elin could have potentially received much more. "Tiger is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, with his earning, investments and the endorsement deals he's made over the years. Elin got a lot of money, but she could have received more. She wanted enough money to not change her luxurious lifestyle, but she didn't try to take him for every penny that she could. Elin wants to get on with her life."
