VH1 won't air its premiere of the new Unplugged, featuring Adam Lambert, until April 9.
But fans of this singer don't need to wait until then to check out a couple acoustic versions of Lambert singles.
Below, you can watch Adam serenade the audience with "Whatdaya Want From Me" and "Down the Rabbit Hole." What do you think of these stripped-down renditions?

On February 17th, TVXQ’s Best Selection 2010 album reached a sales figure of 228,542 units as they topped the Oricon Daily Chart. After achieving the Platinum status already with their single Break Out!, the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan) has given TVXQ’s Best Selection 2010 album a Double Platinum rating!
As you all know, the RIAJ states that a sales figure of at least 250,000 must be reached to achieve Platinum. Well, Best Selection 2010 album has reached over 500,000, twice the Platinum value, therefore achieving ‘Double’ Platinum.

At this point we really need another tablet like we need another hole in the head, but when this one could cost around $100 and still look quite good, well, it's worth talking about. It's the Hott MD500, an Android device with a 4.8-inch, 800 x 480 screen and plenty of OS customizations to make it rather more media-friendly, including the ability to "play every codec" according to the guy doing the demonstration. We'll believe that when we see it, but it is shown playing a 720p clip from the cinematic masterpiece Tokyo Drift without too much trouble. The somewhat iPhone-esque design looks very nice and is much smaller than a comparable Archos 5. The price is $92 to distributors without any flash memory and, since you can get a 4GB microSD card for a few bucks these days (even a legit one), we wouldn't be surprised if these sell for for $115 or $120. Whether they'll ever hit retail in the US is, of course, another question. Video demonstration is embedded below if you want to hear the hype, just try not to lose your breakfast every time this is enthusiastically called an iPad killer.

S.H.E will be releasing their latest album and their new look includes a set of costumes with the “Empress” look that cost over NT$2,000,000. As the 3 costumes are all very grand and made of special material; other than the trio wearing it to film their MV, it is going to be difficult for them to ever wear it again on a second occasion. Therefore, this new look is entitled “The Most Expensive One-Time Costume”. In response to their recording company’s high budget for [SHERO], the trio joked, “Our costumes are really stylish and charismatic this time. From the revealing and sexy big wool dresses, to the dazzling silver-galvanized roses dresses and now the rivet-armours, our company must be treating us like [Rafflesia] and [Queen Bees].”

At last, we've felt Sony's long awaited motion controller, now at last officially known as "PlayStation Move," in our unworthy, sweaty hands. We have a bunch of videos on the way, but for now you can revel in our first close-ups of the controllers in the gallery below. Here are some of our initial thoughts:
- The controllers are light. Much more akin to the DualShock3 than the Wiimote in heft, and we're guessing that's due to Sony's continued love of rechargeable batteries.
- The main controller does have some subtle vibration (not DualShock or Wiimote level, but present), but we're not sure yet about the subcontroller.
- We hate to say this about "pre-alpha" software, but we're feeling lag. An on-rails shooter we tried out, dubbed The Shoot, was discernibly inferior to shooting experiences we've had on the Wii, both in precision and refresh rate of the aiming cursor.

Nokia VP, David Rivas, was in San Francisco yesterday touting Symbian^3 improvements. While we've heard and seen plenty about Symbian Three's enhanced user experience already, it's still worthy of another look considering Symbian's dominant marketshare. Besides, David provides a very detailed look as he walks us though elements like the customizable (and more finger friendly) homescreens meant to provide quick access to call features and at-a-glance data. Rivas also reiterates speed improvement claims over existing S60 5th devices (about a 3x improvement in graphics performance) that should "very very pleasantly surprise" users. Naturally, a faster UI coupled with a Symbian device running on something better than ARM 11 will also help here -- Nokia's only Cortex A8 device is the N900 running Maemo, not Symbian. David takes a veiled shot at Microsoft's new WP7 platform when discussing Symbian's true multitaking capabilities without any "tricks" -- apps are actually running in the background, not just freezing their state until you return. Multitouch screen control on capacitive and resistive (really?) touchscreen displays with Cover Flow-like album art navigation? Yup, it's all in there, as are hundreds of usability improvements (and fewer nags!) that should bring Symbian^3 up to the level of what everyone expects from a modern smartphone, according to Rivas. In other words, we'll have to wait for S^4 on early 2011 devices to see any real innovation. While the live demo was run on a laptop, we suspect it won't be long until Nokia starts showing off its live OS on a production handset. Until then, check the video after the break -- it's all we've got.
