Harry Potter vs. Twilight: And the Winner Is…?

"Sorry, you HP fans thought you had it in the bag over Twilight, ha!"

"Twilight will always be in HP's shadows…"

OK, so which is it, really? Can't we settle this box-office debate once and for all?

Sure.

In the battle of the fantastically successful franchises (with the fanatically competitive fan bases), the winner is:

Harry Potter!

'I'm 44... who knows how much longer I can wait?': Halle Berry puts the heat on Olivier Martinez for a baby

They've been dating for less that a year, but it seems Halle Berry is already putting pressure on boyfriend Olivier Martinez for a baby.

The X-Men star has revealed she would love to give daughter Nahla a sibling, but the 44-year-old is worried she's running out of time.

She said: 'I'd love more children. I'm 44, so who knows how much longer I can wait?'

Halle gave birth to Nahla, whose father is male model Gabriel Aubry, in March 2008.

And she said that she was still able to take the to work with her.

'You make time for what's important. She's not yet three, so I take her with me,' she told a US newspaper.

'Once she's five or six, and in school, I'll have to make a change.'

The twice-divorced actress met the French actor, also 44, on the set of their upcoming film Dark Tide in South Africa.

Acer's 10.1-inch tablet reportedly uses AMD C-50 APU

Acer's already confirmed that it's forthcoming 10.1-inch Windows 7 tablet will be AMD-powered, but it unfortunately didn't get any more specific on the matter than that. If a new DigiTimes report is to be believed, however, it looks like the tablet will use AMD's dual-core C-50 Ontario APU (or accelerated processing unit), which itself consumes just 9W of power and packs a built-in Radeon HD 6250 graphics chip. What's more, DigiTimes is also reporting that Acer's 10.1-inch Android slate rocks Tegra 2 and will, in fact, support WiFi and 3G. Wait and see.

Rainie visits Wu Chun's home?

Rainie Yang and Wu Chun have understandably gotten closer due to filming GTV's idol drama, "Sunshine Angel". They seemed to have become so close that after Rainie won the 2010 Golden Bell Best Leading Actress Award, she immediately flew to Wu Chun's homeland, Brunei, for vacation. Though there were rumors of them being together, after further investigation, it was confirmed that Wu Chun was in Mainland China for album promotions with the rest of Fahrenheit. But Rainie was indeed in Brunei and was vacationing together with her mother.

The reason that Rainie chose Brunei to spend her vacation from the 25th-28th was because of Wu Chun's enthusiastic recommendation during "Sunshine Angel" filming. Not only that, Wu Chun's assistant, who is also his older cousin, helped her book the hotels and made suggestions for her itinerary. Her manager has denied any entering and leaving of Wu Chun's home in Brunei, as some have reported seeing, or that they even met considering he was busy with promotions in Mainland and shooting a commercial in Guangzhou.

"Sunshine Angel" still has no slated air date yet, and will most likely be pushed to early next, but the two leads seem to be getting along just fine.

Lindsay Lohan to Leave Rehab on Thanksgiving

Lindsay Lohan may be home for the holidays after all.

Though the actress will remain in a court-mandated rehab facility until January 3, TMZ reports the Betty Ford Clinic has given Lindsay a 15-hour day pass to leave the rehab facility.

The 24-year-old Mean Girls star will now reportedly spend Thanksgiving with her father, Michael Lohan; several friends are expected to join the recently reunited duo for dinner as well.

Earlier this week, the actress was hit with some sobering news: She is being replaced by Malin Akerman in the porn biopic Inferno.

"Lindsay had scheduling issues due to legal obligations and is continuing to focus on getting better in rehabilitation in Palm Springs. She really had to focus on that in our opinion -- and hers," producer Chris Hanley told UsMagazine.com. "We wish the best to her and are sure she will succeed at her goals."

Justin Bieber Releases PSA: "There Is Nothing Cool About Being a Bully!"

The Biebs has spoken, and thou shalt listen.

Justin Bieber, who has had his own run-ins with bullies, has recorded a public service announcement to speak out against LGBT bullying for the "It Gets Better" project.

Justin, with Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are" floating in the background, takes a stand against bullies, claiming it's "not cool" to be one. He urges those who are dealing with harassment to tell someone, and even calls out bystanders to help out when needed.

Justin's video is just one of countless PSA's reminding those dealing with anti-gay bullying that "it gets better." Watch his below, and see the rest here.

Woow Digital's The One tablet cooks up Tegra 2 with Gingerbread just in time for Christmas

No, we can't say we've ever heard of Woow Digital before either, but we've just received some very legit-looking imagery of the company's forthcoming tablet, modestly titled The One. Google's impending Android Gingerbread release is promised as the OS, while the internal equipment includes an NVIDIA Tegra 2 core, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of flash storage. Up front you'll find a 10-inch display spanning a 1024 x 600 resolution, while wireless connectivity is taken care of with Bluetooth, WiFi and WCDMA 3G radios built in. Woow tells us it plans to launch The One in Japan before Christmas at a price of ¥42,000 ($504), which will be followed up by availability in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Europe. Well, it had better hope that release schedule doesn't shift, because come CES 2011, we should be up to our ears in Tegra 2 tablets and phones.

Kinect hacks let you control a web browser and Windows 7 using only The Force

Hacking the Xbox 360 Kinect is all about baby steps on the way to what could ultimately amount to some pretty useful homebrew. Here's a good example cooked up by some kids at the MIT Media Lab Fluid Interfaces Group attempting to redefine the human-machine interactive experience. DepthJS is a system that makes Javascript talk to Microsoft's Kinect in order to navigate web pages, among other things. Remember, it's not that making wild, arm-waving gestures is the best way to navigate a web site, it's just a demonstration that you can. Let's hope that the hacking communinity picks up the work and evolves it into a multitouch remote control plugin for our home theater PCs. Boxee, maybe you can lend a hand?

If you're willing to step outside of the developer-friendly borders of open-source software then you'll want to check out Evoluce's gesture solution based on the company's Multitouch Input Management (MIM) driver for Kinect. The most impressive part is its support for simultaneous multitouch and multiuser control of applications (including those using Flash and Java) running on a Windows 7 PC. Evoluce promises to release sofware "soon" to bridge Kinect and Windows 7. Until then be sure to check both of the impressive videos after the break.
