Did it get hot in here all of a sudden or is it just this extremely sexy prototype we're looking at? Yes, the Dell Thunder that boomed onto your internet screens back in April is back, and this time we've got video of it too. Our tipster reports an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back -- which includes 720p video capture capabilities -- along with a removable 1,400mAh battery. His prototype's running vanilla Android 2.1 at present, though the final units can probably be expected to ship with Dell's custom skin on top. Screen resolution is purportedly 800 x 480, though judging by that 7 x 4 icon grid up there and our tipster's own experience, it could be even higher; the 4.1-inch display looks to indeed be of the OLED variety, as our earlier leak had indicated. All that and it has the looks of a pocket-sized supercar. Enough teasing, skip past the break for the video.

Last quarter we reported on some pretty stellar growth numbers for Android in the global smartphone marketplace. Back then, Google's OS had a 9.6 percent slice of the pie, but today that's ballooned to a robust 17.2 percent, meaning that in terms of end-user sales over the last three months, Android has nearly matched RIM's BlackBerry sales. That's quite the feat when you consider that a year ago the latter was shifting ten times more units than the former. This fast pace of growth has narrowed down Symbian's lead at the top, in spite of Nokia's favorite OS actually shipping on more phones this year, while the big loser of the quarter has to be Windows Mobile, which contracted both in terms of market share and actual shipments.
Overall, smartphone sales were up by 50 percent year-on-year, according to both Gartner and IDC, while Gartner adds that mobile devices as a whole grew at a tamer 13.3 percent rate. In terms of phone manufacturers' global share, Nokia and Samsung have held on to their top positions, LG, Sony Ericsson and Motorola have experienced some uncomfortable shrinkage, and HTC, RIM and Apple have capitalized to expand their portions. Looking over to IDC's smartphone share data shows, again, that all smartphone makers are growing remarkably well, but it does highlight HTC (129 percent) and Samsung (173 percent) as really improving their presence in the sector. The reason? Android, Android, Android.

It's not as cut-and-dry as last night's declaration that a new Retina Display-equipped iPod Touch is due in the next few weeks, but our man John Gruber just put up a lengthy post on the long-rumored CDMA iPhone for Verizon in which he says the mythical handset is codenamed "N92" and has reached "engineering verification test" (EVT) status. According to Gruber, that's just one step below "design verification test," which is what that stolen iPhone 4 prototype was -- meaning the CDMA iPhone is apparently just two hops away from production. Mix in persistent rumors of large CDMA chipset orders these past few weeks and a dash of AT&T hinting that exclusivity might be over, and it's sounding like ol' N92 could well arrive in January as first reported by Bloomberg -- perhaps at Verizon's CES press conference. In Gruber's words, "the CDMA iPhone is no longer a cold storage, keep-it-alive-just-in-case-we-need-it project."
The Sony Ericsson PSP phone is probably the only mobile product in history to have been rumored for a longer period of time than the Apple iPad. That’s no small feat to accomplish.
And while the PSP phone of 2007 is clearly a dead project, the rumors have started again. This time, there are many details, so this actually has a good chance of being true.
It goes like this. Sony Ericsson are hard at work developing a gaming platform on top of Android 3.0. This will come with its own ecosystem and, apparently, a device.
The phone is described as being a cross between the Samsung Captivate and the PSP Go.

A was composed by the Han Jae Ho-Kim Seung Soo combo who have also worked with Kara’s Rock U, Pretty Girl, Honey, Mister, and even Lupin. Looking at the list of songs they’ve composed, it’s bound to be a hit track, don’t you guys agree?

Last month Hangeng unveiled a hit new track titled My Logo and now the MV for the song has been released.
The song was produced by Tearce Kizzo Keaz, Craig Williams, Rene Van Versaveld and Francesca Richard with the help of award-winning Taiwanese producer Adia (阿弟仔), who has worked with international stars like Jolin Tsai. The choreography was done by famous choreographer Travis Payne. Travis is well known for working with music legend Michael Jackson and the backup dancers in Hangeng’s MV were backup dancers for Michael Jackson himself.
Thanks to Shii~ for the tip and check out the MV below.

Based on our experience with the original zenPad -- one that we wouldn't wish upon our worst enemy's enemies -- we had a feeling that Enso's latest crop of wares wouldn't exactly be teeming with high quality components. One kindhearted tipster of ours managed to ignore our advice and order up a $199 zenPad 4, which is just another iPad KIRF for all intents and purposes. Loaded with Android 2.1 and doused in mediocrity, this 10.2-inch tablet actually ships in a knockoff iPad box... one that proudly sports a perfectly random Internet Explorer icon on the front. Trust us, the laughs don't end there. It was also said to be about half as responsive to key presses as the iPad, and when pressing down on the bezel, it actually leaves momentary indentations that require a tick to flatten back out. Classy. Head on past the break for a purely comedic video unboxing and preview -- if you've had a rough one, you owe it to yourself.

Apple's pushing out iOS 4.0.2 for iPhones and iPod Touches and iOS 3.2.2 for iPads, an update that patches the previous versions' PDF exploit and wipes out your iPhone's unlock and nice new jailbreak.
The update, which is showing up in iTunes now, doesn't bring any new features, just a patch for the recently-exposed PDF vulnerability (the one used by JailbreakMe), so if you weren't super worried about being susceptible—or if you want to keep your jailbreak or your iPhone unlocked—you might not want to jump on this one just yet.

According to a Pew study, 21% of Americans claim that they don't use the internet (and 5% still connect using dial-up). How is this possible? I think I've even seen homeless people peruse the internet on their iPhones.
Well, 34% of those non-users actually live in a house with internet access. Other than that, 48% think the web holds information irrelevant to their lives, 60% said they were uncomfortable with computers in general, and 90% just plain don't care to be online. And, not shockingly, over two thirds (69%) of those who don't use the internet are over the age of 65, while others may live in rural areas, have a low income, or lack a high school education.
66% of Americans currently access the internet through a broadband connection, though, and that number continues to climb.

Nick Cheung stars in EEG's film The Stool Pigeon. In one of the scenes, he has to film a intense bed scene. Nick frankly said that he really had to risk everything for filming. Rarely shooting bed scenes, Nick is sacrificing a lot of this movie, he laughed and said that there really wasn't such scene in the past, rather he often did funny stuff. He joked that this time the director really "benefited" him, but he actually had no luck to bear, he likes to act in movies that require the inner heart.
He recalls filming the scene, admitting that he currently still sweating! He said: "Because I was not familiar with the actress, so to complete the scene faster, we communicated with each other before filming and tried to avoid too much body contact. Fortunately the director accepted the first take." He is thankful of his wife Esther Kwan for giving him the support and absolute trust. Before filming, he told her about it and she was extremely understanding. Director Dante Lam praised that Nick was able to go forward and make it natural.
